Can I use PayPal to pay in stores?
Yes. You can use PayPal to shop in stores, with various payment methods.
When you use PayPal in stores, you choose how you pay. Once you turn on in-store checkout, choose your preferred payment method, then your backup payment method.
Use any payment method combination of your PayPal balance, bank account, credit card, or debit card.
You can use a smartphone to update your payment preferences in the store, but it's best to do it ahead of time to help checkout go more quickly.
To change your in-store preferred payment method:
- Go to Settings .
- Click Payments .
- Click Select or Change next to "In-store purchases."
- Select your payment method and click Confirm.
- Tap Wallet .
- Tap In-person & QR code purchases .
- Tap Payment method.
- Select your payment method and tap Done.
