The new dates follow a run of shows in North America in March which included a performance and in conversation key-note speech with the band at the SXSW Festival.

The band also performed earlier in the same week as part of Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater.

New Order will begin their upcoming tour on September 21 at Copenhagen Royal Arena, before heading to Amsterdam, Paris, London, Dublin and Glasgow. They finish up in Leeds at the First Direct Arena on October 7.

Tickets for the tour will be on sale this Friday, April 14 at 9.30am. See full dates below and find tickets here .

New Order

Last month, New Order backed the #LetTheMusicMove campaign against proposed changes to US visa rules that would impact touring artists.

Recommended

In February, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it was planning to raise touring visa fees  for foreign acts by more than 250 per cent.

“The influence of New York club culture has been pivotal to the evolution of New Order, from our initial shows at legendary long-lost venues like Tier 3, Hurrah and the Peppermint Lounge to  our recent arena tour with the Pet Shop Boys ,” the Manchester band said in a statement.

They added: “Through our support of the #LetTheMusicMove campaign, we want the US Government to rethink these policy changes and look to alternative measures that encourage greater musical exchange, not less.”

In March, the band celebrated 40 years of ‘Blue Monday’ with a range of special merchandise . This came just weeks after the band released a new ‘Blue Monday’-themed t-shirt  in support of  mental health  charity CALM.

Speaking to  NME  about the recording classic track , which went on to become the best-selling 12-inch single of all time, former bassist  Peter Hook  said: “It was actually quite shocking to realise what these new machines could do – you were always in awe of them.”

Meanwhile,  Primavera Sound Festival  announced  New Order as its final headliner for its 2023 line-up . The 2023 instalment of the festival, which will take place in both Barcelona and Madrid, will see the Manchester legends perform at the former’s Parc del Fòrum on June 1 and at the and at the latter’s Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey on June 8. New Order have confirmed they will play a special homecoming gig at Wythenshawe Park next year. The gig will take place next August Bank Holiday on Saturday, August 24.

Marking their first full headline performance in the city since 2021, the group follow in the footsteps of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds who headlined the first gig at the outdoor venue this August. They'll be joined by a huge supporting bill including Johnny Marr and Róisin Murphy.

Pre-sale tickets are available from Monday, 4 December at 10am. General sale tickets go on sale on Tuesday, 5 December at 10am via Ticketmaster here and Gigs and Tours .

With their masterful blend of post-punk and electronica, New Order triumphed over tragedy to emerge as one of the most influential and acclaimed bands of all time. Formed in 1980 in Salford by the three remaining members of Joy Division , this year the band celebrated 40 years of their hit ‘Blue Monday’ and announced reissued editions of their compilation ‘Substance 1987’ - the band’s biggest-selling album to date.

As one of the first bands to synthesize keyboard- and guitar-based music, New Order were credited with bringing together Post-Punk and Dancefloor music. Not only were they Factory Records’ highest selling artist but they became a cornerstone of Manchester’s legendary Haçienda scene.

Never resting on their legacy, the group continues to perform at venues around the globe. This summer saw New Order headline Barcelona’s Primavera Sound before they commenced their UK and European tour this autumn.

They'll be joined on stage by former The Smiths guitarist and good friend of the band, Johnny Marr. In the late 1980s, Marr and New Order’s Bernard Sumner formed Electronic, a synth-dance act that remained a side project throughout the 1990s.

This year, Marr announced a new album ‘Spirit Power: The Best of Johnny Marr’ to celebrate the first ten years of his solo career. Fans can expect to hear the musicians greatest hits alongside the brand new track ‘The Answer’ as he takes to the stage at Wythenshawe Park.

Known in the 1990s as one half of the pop duo Moloko, Irish singer and songwriter Róisín Murphy also joins the bill, following the recent release of her sixth studio album, Hit Parade. Fresh from her sold-out gig at Manchester’s Albert Hall in May this year, Murphy will bring her incredible stage presence to Manchester next August.

The gig is the latest show confirmed to take place at Wythenshawe Park next summer. Stockport band Blossoms will headline the next night (August 25) at the venue, in what will be the group's 'biggest' headline show of their career.

Noel Gallagher's headline performance at the venue this summer was the first time this huge Greater Manchester parkland had ever hosted a live gig on this scale. Ahead of his performance, organisers expressed their ambition for gigs to become a regular feature going forward too.

Event Details

New Order have announced a new tour after the release of the Definitive Edition of their 1985 album – Low-Life in January, they’ll headline The O2 on Friday 29 September 2023.

About New Order

From the ashes of legendary band Joy Division, New Order triumphed over tragedy to emerge as one of the most influential and acclaimed bands of all time.

Their debut Movement (1981) was overshadowed by the sound of Joy Division; going forward the band combined post-punk with influences from New York’s club scene, the result was Power, Corruption & Lies (1983). 1983 also saw the release of “Blue Monday” which became the best-selling 12-inch single of all time, selling over 3 million copies worldwide.

New Order then released the albums Low-Life (1985), Brotherhood (1986), Substance (1987) and Technique (1989). Between several brief hiatuses and line-up alterations, Republic (1993), Get Ready (2001) and Waiting for the Sirens’ Call (2005) came out.

Phil Cunningham joined the band in 2001, followed by Tom Chapman in 2011 to complete the current lineup alongside founder members Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert.

The band released their critically acclaimed tenth studio album Music Complete in 2015 featuring guest vocals from Iggy Pop, Brandon Flowers and Elly Jackson of La Roux.

Never resting on their legacy, New Order continue to perform live around the world, playing some of the biggest shows of their career to date, headlining Manchester’s Heaton Park and London’s O2 in 2021 and a US arena tour with Pet Shop Boys in Autumn 2022.

Impresionante! Excelente!

The show was electric, sold out show. It felt like I was seeing them for the first time, the last time was 20 plus years ago at Red Rocks Ampatheatre in Denver, CO. The show had a mix of joy division and New Order. Great set of music ending with Love Will Tear Us Apart. Great memories and a show I will never forget.

I spent much of the 80's listening to New Order. I bought "Blue Monday" because the cover was (and still is) very cool. I think it was my first 12" single. Their early albums were minimalist synth-driven pop tunes reflecting lonliness and angst. Perfect for a Bay-Area kid trapped in Texas.

And so I keep seeing them live hoping for a reboot of punchy bass, keyboard hooks and crunchy giuitar, and every time they disappoint.

Friday night Lucy once again viciously yanked the football from this hopeful Charlie Brown.

The pre-band music was a DJ playing an unidentifiable mix of drum-n-bass crap where all you could really hear was the ... well, drum-n-bass.

The opening band was Politica, whom I could not really pay attention to because we were holding GA seats for my niece and her friends. I was stressing because trying to hold seats at the Greek is like reserving spots in an Elementary School playground. There are cement benches with spray-painted numbers 'suggesting' seat assignments. We had a blanket spread but for some reason that did not stop the neighbors from gradually pushing it aside.

But, I digress.

New Order opened with a song I did not know. The song did continue with the mind-numbing disco beat of the DJ. They had decided this was a dance party. They played several songs from the part of their career I had stopped following, but every song had the accompanying disco drumbeat mixed way over the other instruments.

I said fuck it and fired up "Pokemon-Go" on my phone.

After all was said and done they had played 4 songs I knew and a stack-o-crap from their 90's catalog.

Stay tuned for next Friday's review of "Peter Hook and the Light" which promises to be the 'anti-New Order' remedy for this crappy band.

Thursday's concert in Franklin was originally slated for Wednesday evening, but was postponed by a day due to  inclement weather .

But Thursday night brought the calm after the storm; the evening was serene.

Neil Young returns to Spotify after 2-year hiatus following Joe Rogan controversy

After opener Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping , a musical performance art experience that draws from religion, Young hit the stage.

The set-up featured a backdrop with a galloping horse and giant speaker cabinets and road cases, the same ones Young took on the road with him for his "Rust Never Sleeps" tour in 1978.

Young appeared in a striped cap, a denim work shirt that featured paint splatters and a Spartan Truck Equipment patch, black pants, black shoes and of course, his guitar, Old Black .

He mentioned the venue's beauty multiple times — a stage nestled in the woods of Graystone Quarry in Thompson’s Station.

"How you doin out there? Nice to see you," Young said to the Franklin crowd.

"What a beautiful place. You guys are very lucky to have this place."

Alongside Young was the band, comprised of 80-year-old Billy Talbot on bass and 80-year-old Ralph Molina on drums. They also have a new member, Micah Nelson on guitar.

Nelson, Willie Nelson 's 33-year-old son, took over for the band's previous guitarist Nils Lofgren earlier this year.

Throughout the show, Neil Young and the band played a 17-song set, full with jam sessions and occasional harmonies. Young was energized and playful, captivating the crowd with his trademark nasally, emotional voice.

The set list was mostly comprised of older hits, like 1969's "Cinnamon Girl" and 1972's "Heart of Gold."

The band didn't play any songs from their recent album; the most recent song was 1996's "Scattered (Let's Think About Livin')." Nelson's big moment came during the tune; he traded his guitar to play a swinging keyboard that descended from the ceiling.

Young's guitar playing—both electric and acoustic—was adept and agile. Though Young shared in January he has been playing guitar with arthritis in his hand for years, audience members wouldn't have guessed.

He played the blues on song "Vampire Blues," hitting guitar licks with a precision like Stevie Ray Vaughan's. He also performed drawn-out, warping guitar solos on songs like "Like a Hurricane" and "Powderfinger."

Between songs, Young would hand his guitar off to his techs (who all wore white lab coats), but was audibly uncomfortable until he had a guitar in his arms yet again.

The night's concert walked the line between a Young that leaned into classic, grunge rock 'n' roll with Crazy Horse and a Young that gently cooed with Crosby, Stills & Nash in '69, strumming an acoustic.

Young pulled off the balancing act.

Here are some of the top moments from the night.

Neil Young opens with 'Cortez the Killer,' sings newly released verse

On a purple-lit stage, Neil Young and Crazy Horse kicked off the show with the 1975 song "Cortez the Killer."

The first lyrics from Young brought cheers from the audience as he sang, "He came dancing across the water / With his galleons and guns."

Young surprised fans at the first concert of the tour by singing unreleased lyrics to the song, ones he said did not record due to a power outage on the recording console in 1975.

Young found the lyric manuscript, he said in an interview mid-April this year.

The verse was lost for nearly 50 years. Young sang the verse again in Franklin.

“I floated on the water / I ate that ocean wave / Two weeks after the slaughter/ I was living in a cave / They came too late to get me / But there’s no one here to set me free / From this rocky grave / To that snowed-out ocean wave.”

Neil Young calls on local non-profits to support his eco-friendly mission

Neil Young has been vocal about his environmental efforts throughout his career .

In 1985, Young helped establish the annual Farm Aid concerts . In 2022, he released album "World Record," an album that focuses on climate change. Later that year, Young said he refused to play venues that are supported by factory farms .

The environmentalism was felt at his Franklin show.

Upon entering the concert, fans saw a series of tents and tables from local environmental organizations all hand picked by Young, including Tennessee Local Food . The organizations attended the concert and chatted with fans about their missions.

Young calls it the "LOVE EARTH Village."

At different stops on the tour, hundreds of non-profits working for sustainability and social equity will join to chat about issues like organic farming, wildlife protection, Native American rights and climate change solutions.

According to a venue employee, Young also changed the menu for the venue's offerings on Thursday, opting for more eco-friendly options (Coke products were nowhere to be seen).

On a handout at the venue, Young wrote, "Support your friends, support your land, and support the people that want to care for the land.

"The revolution starts with us. The revolution starts with you."

Neil Young goes acoustic mid-show, takes stage alone

At one point, Young took an empty stage, traded Old Black for an acoustic, and donned the harmonica around his neck.

He sang songs, "Comes a Time," "Heart of Gold" and "Human Highway" onstage alone, leaning into his folk singer-songwriter roots.

Despite the occasional hoot or holler in the audience, a hush crept over the amphitheater as Young sang, played plucky guitar and showcased his harmonica skills between verses.

It was a gentler, softer and more intimate side to the evening.

"Heart of Gold" stood out among the acoustic section.

Young sang his biggest hit: "Keep me searching / For a heart of gold / I've been a miner / For a heart of gold."

An encore and...another encore

Before the encore, Young ended his set with song "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)," leaving the audience with the classic and singing, "Hey hey, my my / Rock and roll can never die."

And it didn't die just then, Young and the band returned to the stage to play "Roll Another Number (For the Road)" as their encore.

After the song finished, the audience didn't stop cheering. Young and company came back to deliver a second encore, this time three songs long.

For encore two, they performed "Danger Bird," "Don't Cry No Tears" and "Sedan Delivery," ending the night on a grungy rock 'n' roll note that included pink lights and plenty of reverb.

Afterwards, the band and Young gathered arm-in-arm in a single spotlight and gave their final bow.

The state of Louisiana and a group of Black Louisiana voters have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to put a hold on a lower court order that is blocking Louisiana from using the state's new congressional map for this year's elections, marking the latest twist in a long-running redistricting battle over the rights of the state's Black voters.

On Tuesday, the state said in a court filing that it also plans to appeal the lower court's ruling to the Supreme Court, almost a week after the group of Black voters, who started an earlier phase of this legal fight and are represented by the Legal Defense Fund and other civil rights groups, announced similar plans .

This legal battle could help determine the balance of power in the next Congress and set up an opportunity for the Supreme Court to revisit the constitutionality of one of the key remaining parts of the embattled Voting Rights Act, which has been weakened by the high court's conservative majority over the past decade.

In a 2-1 decision released on April 30, the three-judge court found that the map of voting districts – which Louisiana's state legislature drew during a January special session with two majority-Black districts to comply with Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act – violates the Constitution, ruling in favor of a group of self-described "non-African American" voters who argued that the state engaged in racial gerrymandering.

"The predominate role of race in the State's decisions is reflected in the statements of legislative decision-makers, the division of cities and parishes along racial lines, the unusual shape of the district, and the evidence that the contours of the district were drawn to absorb sufficient numbers of Black-majority neighborhoods to achieve the goal of a functioning majority-Black district," wrote U.S. District Judge David Joseph and Judge Robert Summerhays, both appointees of former President Donald Trump, in the majority opinion for the case known as Callais v. Landry .

In a dissenting opinion, 5th U.S. Circuit Judge Carl Stewart, a Clinton appointee, wrote, "The totality of the record demonstrates that the Louisiana Legislature weighed various political concerns—including protecting of particular incumbents—alongside race, with no factor predominating over the other."

After all sides met this week to discuss what map will be used for this year's elections in Louisiana, the three-judge court issued a schedule for coming up with a new redistricting plan.

The case faces a looming deadline of May 15 , when Louisiana's top election official, Republican Secretary of State Nancy Landry, has said the state's congressional map must be finalized in order to be used for this year's races.

But the three-judge court noted that Landry has also told another federal court that the state could be adequately prepared if it received a map by around the end of this month. In its latest order, the court says if the state's legislature does not pass a new map by June 3, it will put in place the next day an interim map, for which a May 30 hearing is set.

The state's Republican-led lawmakers passed the challenged map with two majority-Black voting districts — which are likely to elect Democrats given how racially polarized voting is in Louisiana — after a federal judge in an earlier lawsuit found that the state's previous map likely diluted the voting strength of the state's Black voters.

In that previous map, Black Louisianans — who make up about a third of the state's population — made up the majority in only one of the state's six congressional districts.

Still, the Supreme Court allowed that map , which was struck down by U.S. District Judge Shelly Dick for likely violating the Voting Rights Act's Section 2, to be used in the 2022 midterm elections while the justices reviewed a similar congressional redistricting case out of Alabama.

In an unexpected ruling, the high court decided to uphold its past rulings on Section 2 and rejected the state of Alabama's argument that race should not be taken into account when maps of voting districts are redrawn, unless there's evidence of intentional discrimination.

Republican state officials in the South, however, have continued to put forth attempts to reshape how federal courts interpret the Voting Rights Act's protections against racial discrimination in elections.

Xi Visits Europe, Seeking Strategic Opportunity

The Chinese leader has carefully chosen three countries — France, Serbia and Hungary — that to varying degrees embrace Beijing’s push for a new global order.

  • Share full article

President Xi Jinping of China and his wife, Peng Liyuan, on the tarmac in front of steps leading up to their plane.

By Roger Cohen and Chris Buckley

Reporting from Paris and Taipei, Taiwan

On his first visit to Europe in five years, the Chinese president, Xi Jinping, appears intent on seizing opportunities to loosen the continent’s bonds with the United States and forge a world freed of American dominance.

The Chinese leader has chosen three countries to visit — France, Serbia and Hungary — that all, to a greater or lesser degree, look askance at America’s postwar ordering of the world, see China as a necessary counterweight and are eager to bolster economic ties.

At a time of tensions with much of Europe — over China’s “no limits” embrace of Russia despite the war in Ukraine, its surveillance state and its apparent espionage activities that led to the recent arrest in Germany of four people — Mr. Xi, who arrived in France on Sunday, wants to demonstrate China’s growing influence on the continent and pursue a pragmatic rapprochement.

For Europe, the visit will test its delicate balancing act between China and the United States and will no doubt be seen in Washington as a none-too-subtle effort by Mr. Xi to divide Western allies. Chinese-French relations “have established a model for the international community of peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation between countries with different social systems,” Mr. Xi said in a statement issued soon after he arrived in Paris.

He has timed his arrival at his second stop, Serbia, to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the deadly NATO bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade during the Kosovo war. That mistaken strike on May 7, 1999, for which the White House apologized, killed three Chinese journalists and ignited furious protests around the U.S. Embassy in Beijing.

“For Xi, being in Belgrade is a very economical way to ask if the United States is really serious about international law,” said Janka Oertel, the director of the Asia program at the European Council on Foreign Relations in Berlin, “and to say, how about NATO overreach as a problem for other countries?”

The Chinese government has continued to commemorate the Belgrade bombing, using it as an occasion to denounce what it sees as Western hypocrisy and bullying.

“The United States always views itself as the leader — or hegemon — of the world, so China is a competitor or adversary that is challenging its hegemony,” said Tu Xinquan, the dean of a trade institute at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. “The European Union does not have a hegemonic mind-set.”

The official doctrine of the 27-member European Union defines China as “a partner for cooperation, an economic competitor and a systemic rival.” If that seems a mouthful, and a perhaps contradictory one, it is because the continent is torn between how to balance economic opportunity in China with national security risk, cybersecurity risk and economic risk to various industries.

In March, China’s foreign minister, Wang Yi, told reporters that Europe’s formula was unworkable. “It’s like driving to a crossing and finding the red, yellow and green lights all on at the same time,” he said. “How can one drive on?”

Now, Mr. Xi would like to ease the lights toward green.

To that end, Mr. Xi’s first and most important stop will be in France, whose president, Emmanuel Macron, has often made the Gaullist point that Europe “must never be a vassal of the United States,” as he did last month at a speech at the Sorbonne . The French leader insists that the survival of the European Union depends on “strategic autonomy” and developing the military resilience to become a “Europe power.” He rejects the notion of “equidistance” between China and the United States — France is one of America’s oldest allies — but wants to keep his options open.

All of this is music to Mr. Xi’s ears.

“Macron is trying to bring a third way in the current global chaos,” said Philippe Le Corre, a prominent French expert on relations with China. “He is trying to walk a fine line between the two main superpowers.”

Just over a year ago, Mr. Macron was lavishly entertained during a visit to China that ended with a Sino-French declaration of a “global strategic partnership.” The French leader echoed the Chinese lexicon of a “multipolar” world, freed of “blocs” and the “Cold War mentality.”

Now, in anticipation of Mr. Xi’s visit, China has praised France as a great power and expressed hopes that their ties “will always be at the forefront of China’s relations with Western countries,” in the words of Lu Shaye , China’s ambassador to France, in People’s Daily.

Mr. Macron, who recently warned that “our Europe is mortal” and will be saved only if it can become “sovereign,” will host a state dinner for Mr. Xi on Monday in Paris before, in a personal touch, ushering him to a favorite childhood haunt in the Pyrenees.

The chemistry between the two men appears to lie essentially in a shared view that the postwar order is moribund and must be replaced by a new architecture that takes account of shifting power. That Mr. Xi is almost certainly the most repressive and authoritarian leader in recent Chinese history, and that China’s military threats to Taiwan have intensified, has not come between the two leaders.

In the past six months, Mr. Macron has visited both India and Brazil in a push to place France at a fulcrum between the BRICS group of developing countries, which includes China, and Western powers. At a time of growing tension between the “Global South” and Western powers, he sees France as a bridge.

From France, Mr. Xi will move on to the warm embrace of Serbia, where China is the second largest trading partner, and Hungary, where its prime minister, Viktor Orban, has backed enormous Chinese investment and used his country’s position as a European Union member to dilute criticism of China. Both countries bridle at American power.

Beyond these two friends of China, there are, however, serious European differences with Beijing, whose economy was roughly the same size, measured in dollars, as the European Union’s when Mr. Xi last visited in 2019. China’s economy is now some 15 percent bigger.

Last fall, the European Union opened an investigation into whether electric vehicles made in China benefited from unfair subsidies, with a decision expected by this summer. That has caused tensions with Beijing and with Germany, whose presence in the Chinese auto market dwarfs that of other European countries. China accounts for at least half of Volkswagen’s annual profits.

German manufacturers, with plants in China, fear that any imposition of European tariffs could affect its own exports from China, as well as cause tit-for-tat retaliation.

The European Union Commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, will join the talks in Paris with Mr. Xi. Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany, whose relations with Mr. Macron have been strained, dined with the French president in Paris this past week. All of this is clearly part of an attempt to forge a united European front.

That, however, is always elusive.

Anger toward Russia in Europe runs highest in frontline states with Russia, like Poland and the Baltic States. They are perhaps the most fiercely attached to the alliance with the United States that Mr. Macron wants to offset by building a sovereign Europe. They are also the most wary of China, which has never condemned Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Mr. Macron, like Mr. Scholz during a visit to China last month, believes that Chinese leverage in bringing an end to the war in Ukraine is critical. Only Beijing, in the French analysis, can bring real pressure to bear on President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia, who will be sworn in for a fifth term during Mr. Xi’s European visit.

The issue, as it was last year during Mr. Macron’s visit to Beijing, is that China has shown little or no inclination to do so. Indeed, Mr. Xi is scheduled to host Mr. Putin in China later this month.

“It’s hard to imagine another discussion on Ukraine,” François Godement, a special adviser and resident senior fellow at the Institut Montaigne in Paris, said of the talks between Mr. Macron and Mr. Xi. “Those dice have been rolled.”

Still, there is little doubt that Mr. Macron will try again to enlist Mr. Xi’s support ahead of a Ukraine peace conference in Switzerland in mid-June.

At a deeper level, Mr. Macron appears certain to try to use Mr. Xi’s visit to advance an agenda that guarantees Europe’s relevance in the coming decades. He is wary of a United States that may re-elect former President Donald J. Trump in November, with unpredictable consequences.

Mr. Wang, the Chinese foreign minister, has said , “As long as China and Europe join hands, bloc confrontation will not occur, the world will not fall apart, and a new Cold War will not take place.”

For all of the fundamental differences in governance between China’s one-party state and Western liberal democracy, the leaders of the three European countries Mr. Xi has chosen to visit appear to embrace that Chinese statement.

Reporting was contributed by Olivia Wang from Hong Kong, Keith Bradsher from Beijing, Christopher F. Schuetze and Melissa Eddy from Berlin and Ségolène Le Stradic from Paris.

An earlier version of a picture caption with this article misstated the year of the NATO bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade. It was 1999, not 1993.

Paramore's setlist for Taylor Swift's Eras tour 2024 in full

Paramore's setlist for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is insanely good, though to be honest we'd expect nothing less from Hayley Williams and the gang.

The American rock band responsible for classics such as Misery Business and Still Into You will join Taylor Swift for all of her European shows on The Eras Tour this summer 2024, with them having opened for her yesterday (9 May) at the tour's first date in Paris’ La Defense Arena.

At the opening night of her European tour, Swift also debuted a revised setlist featuring a whopping 46 songs spanning her impressive 18-year career. This picks up from her original Eras Tour setlist she toured with previously in order to slot in some of her newest hits from The Tortured Poets Department, with added songs including new favourites such as The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived and But Daddy, I Love Him .

But fans who managed to secure tickets to the highly coveted European leg of the 2024 Eras tour will not only be treated this stellar lineup of Taylor Swift's best and biggest hits, but they'll also get to enjoy nine quintessential Paramore songs beforehand too.

In addition to supporting Tay Tay on her Europe Eras tour, the band also opened for the hitmaker's first two shows in Glendale, Arizona, though vitally their setlist has since been changed.

So what will the Paramore setlist for the European Eras Tour shows look like and how long do they play for? Here's exactly what you can expect.

Swifties have some thoughts.

How long is Paramore's Eras Tour setlist?

Comprised of nine songs with a runtime of 40 minutes, Paramore's setlist is made up of their best loved hits, new and old. While the length of the setlist is the same as their Glendale dates, three songs have been swapped from the original set.

Does Taylor Swift sing with Hayley Williams on The Eras Tour?

While Hayley Williams didn't join Taylor on stage for the opening night of The Eras Tour in Paris, given that we have a good few dates left to go on the European tour we remain hopeful. In our humble opinion it would make sense for the pair to perform their Castles Crumbling duet together for future shows, so let's see!

We've been loving Taylor for quite some time, time, time.

How to buy new edition tickets: dates and prices compared for 2024 concert tour.

New Edition's Las Vegas residency is still going strong through 2024, though only a few tour dates remain. Luckily, the iconic music group has added additional tour dates and there are a few different ways to buy New Edition tickets.

New Edition began their residency at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas in February, with their stay ultimately being extended through November. After their original six shows, New Edition added two more legs for this year for a total of 10 more concert dates. Performing on their 2024 concert tour are group members Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe, who sing their classic hits like "Candy Girl," "Cool It Now," and "If It Isn't Love."

If you're still looking for how to buy tickets to New Edition's concerts, we've got you covered. Here's our breakdown of the R&B group's tour schedule, purchasing details, and ticket prices. You can also browse tickets and show specifics on StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

New Edition 2024 tour schedule

All six members of New Edition are returning for the remainder of the group's Las Vegas residency, which kicks off on July 3. It features seven shows from July 3 to July 13 in Las Vegas, with the third leg picking back up for three additional concert dates in October and November.

The group is also appearing at the Cincinnati Music Festival in July.

All concert times are listed in local time zones.

How to buy tickets for New Edition's 2024 concert tour

You can buy original tickets for New Edition's 2024 Las Vegas residency concert dates and music festival appearance on Ticketmaster. However, since the residency extension shows went on sale in March 2024, the quantity of remaining original tickets is limited.

Tickets can also be purchased from verified resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats . You may have better luck with the variety of seating options and availability on resale sites compared to the original tickets still left.

It's also important to note that New Edition's shows at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas only permit concertgoers ages 18 and up — so be sure to bring your ID to get into the group's residency performances.

How much are New Edition's tickets?

Given the high demand for the group's remaining Las Vegas residency shows, tickets to see New Edition in 2024 are relatively expensive. Furthermore, ticket prices vary depending on each show's concert date and demand. Resale ticket prices are comparable to or cheaper than original ticket costs.

The cheapest original ticket prices on Ticketmaster begin at $175 for New Edition's Las Vegas shows on October 30 and November 1. The least expensive seats are generally in the left or right mezzanine. However, most other dates with remaining original tickets are a bit more costly, with the cheapest seats coming in at over $200.

On the other hand, original one-day Saturday tickets for New Edition's Cincinnati Music Festival performance start at only $65. This ticket also lets you see artists like Kem, Stokley, En Vogue, and Coco Jones. Check out the full line-up here .

The least expensive resale tickets available to New Edition's Las Vegas residency on StubHub start at $165 for the group's July 5 performance. Vivid Seats offers similar prices for resale tickets, as the cheapest available Las Vegas show passes begin at $165. However, both sites' base fares are slightly more expensive than the $65 original tickets for the Cincinnati Music Festival, as StubHub's begin at $72 while Vivid Seats' start at $73.
