Ms. Lauryn Hill extended 25th Anniversary Tour 2023: Presale, tickets, dates, venues, and all you need to know

T he iconic Ms. Lauryn Hill is set to embark on an extraordinary 25th-anniversary tour of her groundbreaking album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, this fall. Fans and music enthusiasts are in for a treat as the tour promises to be a memorable journey through the timeless masterpieces that defined an era.

Adding to the excitement, the recently reunited Fugees will co-headline the North American concerts of the tour, marking a remarkable moment for fans of both artists. The tour will feature grand performances at prestigious venues like Brooklyn's Barclays Center and the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

The Fugees, known for their groundbreaking hip-hop and R&B fusion, reunited last September and recently graced the stage again in June 2023, at Roots Picnic, setting the stage for their upcoming collaboration with Ms. Lauryn Hill.

In a heartfelt press release, Ms. Lauryn Hill expressed her deep connection to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill , stating:

"The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is and was a love song to my parents, my family, my people, my musical and cultural forebears, my teachers, my loves, my Creator. I wrote love songs and protest songs-(still love songs) about the subjects and interests that inspired and moved me. I was confident that what inspired me would resonate with an audience that had been led to believe that songs of that kind could only live in the past."

A Live Nation pre-sale for the newly announced November shows will take place on Thursday, October 5, while a public sale will begin on Friday, October 6 via Ticketmaster .

Ms. Lauryn Hill's tour will begin in Minneapolis and end in Boston

Ms. Lauryn Hill will kick off the tour with her Minneapolis concert, scheduled to be held on October 8, 2023. After performing across multiple cities, the singer will finally wrap up her tour with a final concert in Boston on December 13, 2023.

Ms. Lauryn Hill & Fugees Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour

The following approved process will be implemented at the United Center for the General Admission (GA) pit:

• WRISTBAND DISTRIBUTION TIMES: At 9 a.m. on show day, guests will receive a numbered wristband. This represents the order they will be lined up in to access the GA area. Numbered wristbands will be distributed until 4:30 pm.
• WHO NEEDS A NUMBERED WRISTBAND:  Please note that numbered wristbands are only required if a guest would prefer to have first access to the standing room floor. A numbered wristband is not needed if a guest doesn't have a preference on where they will stand on the floor.
• LOCATION: Fans will only receive wristbands from a credentialed United Center security employee at Gate 5.
• LEAVING PRIVILEGES: Once the wristband is received, guests are free to leave and return to Gate 5 no later than 4:30 p.m.
• RETURNING TIME: All guests with a wristband must return to the United Center and be lined up in order by 4:30 p.m. to have wristband number honored.
• LATE ARRIVAL: If a guest with a numbered wristband arrives after 4:30 p.m., the guest will be placed in line after the last guest in line. Guests without wristbands arriving after 4:30 pm will also be placed in line after the last guest in line.
• ONE PROCESS: This is the only process approved for GA entry. No additional arrangements can be honored at this time.

**Please note- you must have your ticket to obtain a wristband and only one wristband per person.

** All guests with general admission tickets must enter though Gate 5.

Take I-90 East to the Madison Street exit and make a right onto Madison Street. The building will be on your left.

Take I-55 North to the Damen exit and make a left, going northbound for approximately 7 minutes. The building will be on your right.

Take Madison Street west from the Loop.

Take I-290 East to exit 28A (Damen Avenue). Take Damen Avenue north to Madison Street. Make a right onto Madison Street and the building will be on your right.

Public Transportation

Take the Orange, Green, Purple, or Brown lines to Madison. Take #20 Madison buses west.

To the United Center : The #19 United Center Express Bus runs on game days. Service begins 90 minutes prior to game time, runs every 10 minutes until 30 minutes until start of game. Board at stops starting southbound on Michigan and Randolph. Connections are made with Metra trains at Millennium Station, Ogilvie Center and Union Station. The #20 Madison Bus travels west on Madison Street, starting downtown at Wabash Street and runs every few minutes, making all stops to the United Center.

From the United Center : The #19 United Center Express and the #20 Madison buses run every few minutes, departing from the eastbound side of Madison Street. Buses make all stops.

General Parking

PLEASE NOTE: Parking lots and Uber lot open to public two and a half hours prior to event time.

All major credit cards accepted. The United Center offers free parking for select family shows in all official United Center parking lots. All Parking Policies outlined below remain in effect.

EV Charging Stations EV Charging Stations are available in Lot H and Lot K. Charging is free. Please be courteous and maintain parking/charging for the posted time limits. 

Parking Policies No in/out privileges. No overnight parking unless related to event activites and approved in advance. No solicitation allowed. No consumption of alcoholic beverages on lot or in parked vehicles. No tailgating or similar activities.

Suites Parking

Two reserved parking passes will be valid in lots C and K. The other two reserved parking passes will be for parking in lots A, B, D, or L. Holders of these passes will be directed to A, B, D, or L lots by traffic police and parking attendants based on traffic conditions. Parking passes are good for one space each. All parking passes are mobile entry only.

For all special events, each Executive Suite Holder will receive two complimentary parking passes per event ordered. These two passes will be for reserved parking located in lots C and K. In addition, Executive Suite Holders will also receive the option to purchase four additional parking passes in lots C and K for special events.

Suite Holder parking passes are also valid for buses or limousines under specific guidelines.

Lexus Club Parking

Lexus Club Seat members have reserved parking in fenced, well-lit and clearly marked parking lots adjacent to the United Center for all Blackhawks or Bulls preseason, regular season and playoff games. All Lexus Club members who purchase tickets to other events may also purchase one preferred parking pass (in lot C or K) for such events. Details on how to obtain parking for other events are included with the fax transmission announcing each event.

Lexus Club Seat members with two to four tickets receive a complimentary, reserved parking space in a closed-in, paved lot for all Blackhawks or Bulls preseason, regular season and playoff games. Lexus Club Seat members with five seats or more will be provided with two parking passes.

Rideshare/UberZone

UBER ZONE FAQs:

What is the Uber Zone (Lot E) at the United Center? To increase and streamline the fan experience for guests who take Uber to and from the United Center, the new Uber Zone is located at the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street (Lot E) and will combine the three former Uber locations around the arena. Traffic leading to the three prior Uber pickup locations 1) Zone A, previously located on Wood Street & Washington Blvd. near Lot A, 2) Zone D, previously located on Monroe Street & S. Paulina Street near Lot D and 3) Zone F, previously located on Monroe Street & Seeley Ave. near Lot F will now be directed towards the one new Uber Zone in Lot E.

What is the location of the Uber Zone? The new Uber Zone at the United Center is located on the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street. Fans will enter and exit through the sidewalk entrance located on Madison Street and cars will enter the lot by turning into the Uber Zone from Madison Street. Cars will exit on Warren Blvd.

What are the hours of operation? On event days, the Uber Zone is open two hours prior to games, concerts and events and will remain open up to one hour after each event. On non-event days, the Uber Zone will be closed and Uber rides will be dropped off near the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street outside of the Uber Zone.

What is the pickup process for fans?

• Using the Uber app, fans inside the United Center will call an Uber ride.
• Guests will then head to the new Uber Zone located at the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street in front of the United Center.
• When arriving, fans will show the Uber attendant the lane number their driver is in.
• Fans will be shown the location where their Uber vehicle is located to start their next journey.

What is the dropoff process for fans? When Uber drivers arrive with guests at the United Center, they will be instructed to pull into the Uber Zone from the Madison Street side to drop off fans. Once exiting the vehicle, guests will walk out of the main entrance located on the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street. Guests can cross the street to the United Center and are encouraged to enter through the East Atrium.

Fugees will co-headline the US and Canadian dates

Ms. Lauryn Hill will celebrate the 25th anniversary of her seminal album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill by embarking on a world tour this fall . What’s more, Hill’s band Fugees will co-headline all of the North American shows.

The North American leg kicks with Fugees kicks off on October 17th in Newark, New Jersey, and also includes stops in Brooklyn, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Fort Worth, Denver, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle.

Update: Due to “overwhelming demand,” Hill has announced a new run of shows taking place in November, including dates in Vancouver, San Francisco, Atlanta, Nashville, Miami, Boston, and more.

Tickets are available via StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

Earlier this year, Consequence named The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill the second best hip-hop album of all time .

Fugees previously reconvened in 2021 for their first live performance in 15 years . However, plans for a full-fledged reunion tour were delayed and then canceled due to the pandemic. The upcoming jaunt may be the last chance to see Fugees live, as Pras Michel was  found guilty in late April for his involvement in a billion-dollar Malaysian money laundering scheme. The Fugees co-founding member is currently awaiting sentencing but could face up to 20 years in prison.

About Lauryn Hill Merch

Ms. Lauryn Hill may be hitting the road in 2023 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill .

The artist teased the announcement during her set at the ONE Musicfest in Atlanta over the weekend, acknowledging the upcoming anniversary and sharing that they are “gonna be back with those songs the way you can recognize them.” Hill did not divulge any further details such as the dates and what exactly the celebrations will be, but the news did excite the fans who were present.

“Nothing Even Matters” besides seeing Ms. Lauryn Hill live this year.

The iconic R&B singer is embarking on “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary” tour in the U.S. on Oct. 17 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

The tour will then wrap up on Nov. 9 in Seattle, Washington .

Ms. Lauryn Hill will also be performing at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Oct. 19 .

The tour will celebrate her first debut solo album titled “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” which was released in 1998.

The Fugees will also reunite for the first time in years to open for Hill on all of her U.S. tour dates.

Tickets to see Ms. Lauryn Hill go on sale to the public on Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster .

You can also purchase tickets on secondary market websites, such as StubHub , Vivid Seats , TicketNetwork , TicketCity and MegaSeats .

Ms. Lauryn Hill has announced The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour to commemorate her massively influential 1998 debut solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill , an album that was released 25 years a go to the day this coming Friday.

MLH will be performing the album, revisiting the musical sentiment and nostalgia that caused it to resonate with so many fans. The 17 date tour will hit arenas around the world, including Brooklyn’s Barclays, Chicago’s United Center, The Kia Forum in Los Angeles as well as in Australia, New Zealand, and more. The Fugees will reunite for their first tour in years to co-headline the tour on all US and Canadian dates.

Ms. Hill explained her thoughts on the album and its lasting impact, saying: “ The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is and was a love song to my parents, my family, my people, my musical and cultural forebears, my teachers, my loves, my Creator. I wrote love songs and protest songs— (still love songs) about the subjects and interests that inspired and moved me. I was confident that what inspired me would resonate with an audience that had been led to believe that songs of that kind could only live in the past.”

She continued, “I loved music, I loved people, I truly felt grateful to God for my life, and genuinely blessed to have a platform where I could share wisdom and perspective through music. I felt a charge to challenge the idea that certain kinds of expression and/or certain kinds of people didn’t belong in certain places. I loved showing what could work or happen provided there was imagination, creativity and LOVE leading the way.”

Citi is the official card of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Wednesday 8/22 at 10:00am local time until Thursday 8/24 at 10pm local time through the Citi Entertainment program. Public onsale for the tour begins this Friday 8/25 at 10am local time.

Hip-Hop’s most elusive star is returning to the spotlight.

Lauryn Hill just announced she’s embarking on ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour’ this fall.

That includes stops at New York City’s Global Citizen Festival on Saturday, Sept. 23, Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Tuesday, Oct. 17 and Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Thursday, Oct. 19.

Hill isn’t going it alone either.

The five-time Grammy winner will be bringing her group Fugees to open all U.S. dates on the run from September through November.

No word on whether or not they’ll be performing with her at the Global Citizen Festival .

Hill is set to headline along with major stars like Red Hot Chili Peppers , Megan Thee Stallion , Stray Kids and Conan Gray.

In September 2021, the South Orange, NJ natives announced a 25th anniversary tour celebrating their album “The Score” but canceled a few months later due to COVID concerns.

It's been twenty-five years since  Lauryn Hill 's landmark debut album, and now she seems ready to get back in the booth. The New Jersey rapper hints that she's dropping new music soon.

Lauryn Hill Has New Music On the Way

On Wednesday (May 15), TMZ  spoke with Lauryn Hill and her son YG Marley after they performed together on  The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon . At the beginning of the video, which can be seen below, YG Marley is asked about the possibility of Ms. Hill dropping a second album. The Fugees rapper's last LP,  The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill , debuted on Aug. 25, 1998.

"What about your mom's second album?" YG is asked by the camera person. "We need a second album from her. Is she close to doing that? Because I know she's kind of been back and forth about that idea."

He then revealed the answer to the burning question. "New music's on the way," tYG responded.

Then Lauryn is asked if she's toying around with ideas for her second album. She signaled through a head nod and brief answer that her son's response was accurate. "Soon. Thank you," Lauryn said at the 0:49 mark of the video while heading into a black car.

Lauryn hill has kept fans waiting for new music for ages.

It's been a hot minute since Lauryn Hill released a new project. Although Ms. Hill did release a song called "Guarding the Gates" for  Queen and Slim: The Soundtrack  in 2019, fans have been itching for another genre-shifting album from the rapper. After departing from the Fugees in 1997, Lauryn Hill released her first solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill , a year later. Following its arrival, the LP won five trophies, including Album of the Year at the 1999 Grammy Awards. Although the rapper was on tour for the album's 25th anniversary, she ultimately postponed the remaining dates in 2023 due to straining her vocal cords a month into touring.

Lauryn Hill Reveals Second Album Will Be Done ‘Soon’

Lauryn Hill, the renowned artist behind the groundbreaking 1998 album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” has long been a subject of fascination and anticipation in the hip hop world. After the immense success of her debut, fans have eagerly awaited a follow-up, but for years, news of new music from Hill has remained elusive.

However, in a recent encounter with TMZ, Hill dropped a bombshell that sent ripples of excitement throughout the industry. When questioned about the possibility of a sophomore album, Hill nodded in affirmation, hinting that new music is indeed on the horizon. And when pressed for a timeline, Hill simply replied, “soon.”
