GLENDALE, Ariz. — March Madness is set to come to an exciting conclusion right here in the Valley of the Sun as the Final Four is headed our way for the first time since 2017! 

The matchups became official on Saturday and Sunday, but the Final Four is about a lot more than just the basketball that will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. 

With a whole week of events headed our way, here's everything you need to know about the Final Four.

Who is playing in the Final Four? 

No. 1 seed and defending national champion UConn, No. 1 seed Purdue, No. 4 seed Alabama and No. 11 seed N.C. State have all punched their tickets to the desert for the Final Four by winning their regionals in the 68-team NCAA Tournament . 

UConn defeated No. 3 seed Illinois to win the East Regional and Alabama defeated No. 6 seed Clemson to win the West Regional on Saturday. Purdue beat No. 2 seed Tennessee to win the Midwest Regional and N.C. State upset No. 4 seed Duke to win the South Regional on Sunday. 

When will the Final Four games be played? 

Purdue will play NC State in the first game of the Final Four on Saturday, April 6 at 3:09 p.m. Arizona time. UConn will play Alabama in the second game of the doubleheader. The start time for that game is scheduled to be 5:49 p.m. Arizona time but could be pushed back based on when the first game ends.  

Where are Final Four games being played?  

 Games will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, west of Phoenix. 

When is the national championship game? 

The winners of the two Final Four games will meet in the national championship game on Monday, April 8 at 6:20 p.m.  

How to watch the Final Four

The Final Four games will be broadcast on TBS, TNT and truTV, according to NCAA.com . The games will also be streamed on the NCAA March Madness Live app and on Max's B/R Sports Add-On subscription.  

Ian Eagle, Bill Raferty and former Phoenix Sun Grant Hill will call the games. Tracy Wolfson will be the sideline reporter and Gene Steratore will be the rules analyst for the broadcasts. 

Pregame coverage on Saturday will begin on TBS, TNT and truTV at noon Arizona time.   

Final Four tickets

Tickets to the Final Four are still on sale and can be purchased on the NCAA's official ticketing website by clicking here . As of Sunday night, tickets range from $616.25 to $5,312.50 for the Final Four and $340 to $3,400 for the national championship.  

When it comes to resale sites, as of Sunday night, Final Four tickets range from $345 to $13,193 on Stubhub , $456 to $14,260 on SeatGeek , $335 to $9,424 on VividSeats and $350 to $6,250 on Ticketmaster . National championship tickets range from $172 to $37,080 on StubHub , $219 to $13,371 on SeatGeek , $187 to $9,424 on VividSeats and $185 to $8,587 on Ticketmaster .

Keep in mind that ticket prices will likely rise as the games get closer and national championship ticket prices will change when the matchup is decided on Saturday.

Now that the basketball information is covered, here's a look at everything else happening in the Valley this week with the Final Four in town.

Final Four Fan Fest

The Men's Final Four Fan Fest will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center from April 5-8. It will be open from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and noon to 6 p.m. on Monday. Fans will be treated to appearances from college basketball star players, like former Duke Blue Devil Christian Laettner, and coaches, like former Kansas and North Carolina coach Roy Williams. There will also be appearances from mascots from Arizona's sports teams, a daily slam dunk contest, a Final Four watch party, interactive games and more. 

Tickets will cost $10 at the door. Kids 12 and under get in free. 

Capital One cardholders, Final Four ticketholders, and anyone who shows a ticket stub from the D-backs, Suns, Mercury, Coyotes, Phoenix Rising or that they have tickets to the WNBA All-Star game can also get in free. 

Military personnel with a valid ID will be able to get themselves and up to three guests in for free on Saturday.   

March Madness Music Festival

The NCAA March Madness Music Festival will be held at Hance Park in downtown Phoenix from April 5-7 and is completely free. 

The festival will begin with the AT&T Block Party from 4:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday, featuring Grammy Award-winning DJ Zedd, Mean Girls and pop star Reneé Rapp and pop artist Remi Wolf.  

The Coke Studio Live show will be held from 3-9 p.m. on Saturday and will feature the Jonas Brothers. 

The Capital One JamFest will be held from 2:30-10 p.m. on Sunday and will feature performances from Mumford & Sons, the Black Keys, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and Leon Bridges. 

Final Four Friday 

On April 5, fans will be able to go out to State Farm Stadium to see the Final Four teams practice and see some of the top senior basketball players from around the country play in the NABC All-Star Game. There will also be interactive activities and entertainment at the stadium.

Doors open at 10 a.m. NC State will practice at 11 a.m., Purdue will practice at noon, Alabama will practice at 1 p.m. and UConn will practice at 2 p.m. The NABC All-Star Game will be played at 3:30 p.m. Admission to Final Four Friday and parking in the Red Preferred and Orange West lots at State Farm Stadium are free.  

Final Four Dribble 

On Sunday at 10:30 a.m., kids 18 and under will gather at Heritage Square in downtown Phoenix to take part in the Final Four Dribble. 

The kids will dribble a special Final Four-themed basketball down a one-mile route from Heritage Square to the Fan Fest at the Phoenix Convention Center. There will be music and activities along the route. Participants will be able to keep the basketball and will receive a t-shirt. Every child that takes part and a parent or guardian will also get complimentary access to the Fan Fest. 

In 2017, this event had more than 3,000 kids participate.

Final Four Tip-Off Tailgate

Ahead of Final Four Friday, the Final Four games and the national championship game, the Final Four Tip-Off Tailgate will be open on the Great Lawn at State Farm Stadium. 

There will be interactive booths from Nissan, Coke Zero Sugar, POWERADE, The Home Depot, Invesco QQQ, LG, CBS Sports, MTV and the U.S. Army along with a store selling team gear and special Final Four souvenirs.  

The Tip-Off Tailgate is free for all fans.  

It will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday. It will be closed on Sunday.

The NC State men’s basketball team has continued its wild March Madness run, advancing to the Final Four on Sunday. This is the Wolfpack’s first appearance since 1983 and that really deserves some celebrating. Plus, the Wolfpack women reached their Final Four earlier on Sunday.

Which NCAA basketball teams are in March Madness 2024? See the full list by conference

The teams for the 2024 NCAA men's basketball tournament have been selected, as 68 schools square off in March Madness.

The tournament bracket consists of the 32 Division I conference tournament winners, along with 36 teams that received at-large bids from the selection committee. Prior to the start of the first round, the field was whittled down to 64 teams as eight teams competed in the First Four play-in round.

While each conference is guaranteed at least one team in the tournament, the bulk of the at-large bids tend to go to the so-called Power Five conferences: the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), the Big Ten, the Big 12, the Pac-12 and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The future of the Pac-12 , however, remains murky at best, as 10 of the 12 schools will be joining other conferences in the 2024-2025 school year.

Taylor Swift is bringing Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour to Levi’s® Stadium on July 29, 2023!

The U.S. leg of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour was announced just days after the eleven-time GRAMMY winner broke streaming, physical and vinyl album sales around the world. Taylor’s critically acclaimed album, Midnights, is the fastest selling album of her career. Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour will be supported by Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN. It will be presented by Capital One and produced by Taylor Swift Touring and promoted by the Messina Touring Group (MTG).

Be aware that the flying of any drones or other unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in, over or around Levi’s® Stadium may lead to the confiscation of said UAV and/or subject the pilot to penalty or arrest. We reserve the right to enforce violations to the full extent of the law.

Timeline Saturday, July 29th, 2023

Ticket Policy

• All guests ages 2 and above must have an event ticket to enter the stadium.
• Add your tickets and parking passes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet to expedite entry at parking and stadium gates.
• There is no re-entry after admittance.
• Guests should have their tickets ready to scan upon approaching the stadium entry gates.
• The ticket barcode must be visible no matter the ticket type.
• The Visa Box Office opens at 2:00 pm and is located at the north end of the stadium at Toyota Gate F. Walk-up tickets may also be available at the Visa Box Office.

Tickets will not be emailed or available to print. Your mobile ticket must be displayed on your phone to get into the event.

All guests must be in possession of a valid event ticket, pass or credential to park in a designated parking lot. Please download prepaid parking passes ahead of time and add them to your mobile wallet for an expedited parking process. Day of parking will be available on a limited basis. Credit card payment only. 

Mobility Services will be onsite at 1:00 pm to provide roving carts from the mobility kiosks in Red Lot 1.

Bicycle Parking

Bicycle parking will be located outside of Dignity Health Gate C pedestrian bridge only and will be managed by The Silicon Valley Bike Coalition starting at 2:00 pm. The creek trail will close at Agnew Avenue at 12:00 pm. All ticketed guests will be permitted the use of the San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail beginning at 1:00 pm.

Buses/Oversized Vehicles 

Buses/oversized vehicles must park in Blue RV and contact the Visa Box Office at 408-579-4449 to purchase parking in advance.

Parking Lots in Operation Please note prices below represent event day pricing.  

Automobiles/Motorcycles – Red Lot 1,Red Lot 2, Blue Lot 1, Green Lot 3 – $60 Accessible Parking – Red Lot 1 – $60 Buses/Oversized Vehicles – Blue RV Lot – $130

Bag check services will be located in Red Lot 1 near Hilton Santa Clara. Bag check services will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bags that comply with Levi’s Stadium® Clear Bag Policy will be allowed into the stadium.

Levi’s® Stadium prohibits all bags, backpacks, and other carriers from being brought into the stadium with the following exceptions:

• Clear Backpacks
• Clear Fanny Packs
• Clear Purses
• One gallon clear plastic zip lock type bags
• Small Clutch Bag (the size of an adult hand) (4.5” x 6.5”)

All individuals and their belongings are subject to search. The following information is subject to change without notice. 

Fans with medical bags or items they must carry with them must be inspected and have a wristband or sticker placed on it to show that it has been inspected. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLIER TO AVOID LAST MINUTE GATE PRESSURE.

The following ARE PERMITTED in the stadium during Levi’s® Stadium Events:

• Bags that comply with the Bag Policy (see Bag Policy above)
• Binoculars shorter than 6 inches (case prohibited)
• Diaper bags accompanying a child
• Reusable transparent water bottles (no alcohol, less than 24 ounces)
• Sunscreen (only cream, no aerosol cans) & hand-powered misters
• Protective face coverings

The following ARE NOT PERMITTED in the stadium:

• No aerosol cans or containers, including sunscreen, pepper spray, bug spray or spray paint cans
• No alcoholic beverages
• No bags that violate the Clear Bag Policy (see Bag Policy above)
• No external battery packs with the exception of phone charging units
• No bicycles, scooters, skateboards, skates, segways or other unauthorized means of transportation
• No professional or commercial cameras/photography equipment, including any cameras with extendable or detachable lenses, video cameras, GoPros, audio recording devices, or tripods; No video or audio recording will be allowed (except personal cell phones
• No cans, glass bottles, metal containers or alcoholic beverage
• No chains, chain wallets, studded jewelry or spurs
• No confetti
• No clothing, costumes, or personal effects that may impede the view of those around or behind you
• No drugs & drug paraphernalia, marijuana & marijuana products
• No coolers (including soft-sided coolers), thermoses, metal water bottles or ice chests
• No flammables or missile like objects, fireworks, road flares, emergency flares, explosives or other incendiary devices
• No glow sticks, light-up costumes, light-up signs
• No handcuffs or other restraint items
• No hoods, masks, or face coverings that hide one’s identity or objects to cover one’s face (medical & religious articles are permitted)
• No illegal substances
• No intoxication or signs of impairment related to alcohol or drugs
• No irresponsible drinking or behavior
• No klaxons, bullhorns, air horns, bells, thunder sticks, radio bells, musical instruments, whistles, or any other noisemakers
• No laptops and laptop Bags, tablets, iPads or digital reader
• No laser pointers of any type
• No lights or battery packs with the exception of phone charging units
• No offensive clothing
• No projectiles (footballs, Frisbees, balloons, etc.)
• No unauthorized promotional, political or commercial materials, including flyers, samples, giveaways, etc.
• No two-way radios or walkie talkies
• No selfie sticks
• No signs or banners larger than 11” x 17”, sticks, bats, clubs or poles
• No drones and UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles)
• No umbrellas (no obstruction of other fans view)
• No weapons of any kind (including, but not limited to silverware guns, ammo, knives, tasers, pepper spray/mace,etc.). This applies to all attendees, including off-duty law enforcement and concealed carry permit holders.

Anyone possessing PROHIBITED items will be asked to return them to their cars or dispose of them in the garbage cans provided at the gate.

Valley Transportation Authority (VTA)

VTA will operate increased train service from Mountain View station (Caltrain transfer) and Milpitas station (BART transfer) two hours prior to event start. Post-event service will run for approximately 60 minutes post-event. For more information, please visit  www.vta.org .

Guests heading to the concert can get off at the Mountain View station and transfer to VTA light rail service to Levi’s Stadium.

Post-Concert Northbound – Service Mountain View to San Francisco:

• Northbound 145 – 11:33 PM
• Swifty Special will depart Mountain View 75 minutes after the end of the show
• Southbound 138 – 10:48 PM
• Southbound 140 – 11:18 PM
• Southbound 142 – 11:44 PM
• Southbound 144 – 12:15 AM
• Southbound 146 – 1:18 AM

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)

BART will operate regular weekday and weekend schedules.

Guest heading to the concert can get off at the Milpitas Station and transfer to VTA light rail service to the Levi’s Stadium. Post-concert, BART will run two special event service limited-stop trains that will depart Milpitas Station at around 12:30am serving limited stops after regular BART service ends. The special service will stop only at the following stations:

• Pleasant Hill
• El Cerrito del Norte

Capitol Corridor

Capitol Corridor will operate regular weekday and weekend schedules westbound to Santa Clara. Post concert, Train 550 on Friday will depart GAC at 11:59 PM, and Saturday Train 750 will depart GAC at 11:59 PM. For more information, please visit www.capitolcorridor.org .

The rideshare drop-off location at Levi’s® Stadium for this event will be on Great America Parkway curbside, between Tasman Drive and Old Glory Lane. The pick-up zone is located in Red Lot 7. Follow signage and staff instructions for additional directions.

Parent drop off will be located on Great America Parkway by Tasman Drive and Old Glory Lane. Pickup will begin at 10 pm on Patrick Henry Drive. Please refer to the map and directions below.

All accessible parking will be directed to Green Lot 1. Guests who possess a valid placard will be directed to park and must display their placard at the entrance to be admitted.

Levi’s® Stadium takes pride in providing elite service to all guests including those requiring mobility assistance. We provide a variety of services for our guests with special needs. Included in these services are courtesy shuttle buses from selected parking lots, golf cart shuttles in the Main lot, and Guest Services representatives to provide wheelchair service if requested. Assisted Listening Devices will be available at all Guest Services kiosks presented by United located throughout the stadium.

Drop-off will be located on Great America Parkway by Tasman Drive and Old Glory Lane. Pickup will begin at 10PM on Patrick Henry Drive. Please refer to the map and directions here.

Early merchandise sales will begin on Thursday, July 27th from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in Red Lot 1. Parking lots will open for this event at 8:00 AM in Red Lot 1.

Show day merchandise sales will be available at 2:00PM and will remain open until the end of the show. Merchandise will be located in Red Lot 1 as well as inside the stadium for fans with tickets. Parking will not be available in Red Lot 1 for fans without a ticket. Fans will not be permitted to line up earlier than 2:00PM. Here’s a women’s NCAA tournament AP Story:

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Iowa and LSU would rather not be playing each other on Monday night.

It’s not that they don’t relish the challenge of a rematch of last year’s national championship game , but both teams wish the stage was just a little bit bigger.

“We talk about growing the game,” LSU coach Kim Mulkey said. “Didn’t that national championship game have the highest ratings ever in women’s basketball? You’re probably going to anticipate this one will, too, but it needs to be at the Final Four.”

The storylines are plentiful. It’s not just a March Madness rematch, it’s last year’s champion against a No. 1 seed. And it’s two of the game’s biggest and most competitive stars in Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark going head to head again.

“You’ve got two very talented players that have brought a lot of attention to our sport,” Mulkey said. “They both trash talk. They both make their teammates better. They both have their teammates’ back. They have both elevated our game to where we have people watching that never watched women’s basketball before.”

But these are, of course, different teams from those that played last April in the Tigers’ 102-85 win.

LSU no longer has its three top scorers from that game: forward LaDazhia Williams (20 points) and guards Jasmine Carson (22) and Alexis Morris (21).

In their place are forward Aneesah Morrow (16.5 points per game), a transfer from DePaul and guards Mikaylah Williams (14.4), a freshman and Louisville transfer Hailey Van Lith (11.7).

“I just think they shoot the 3-ball; they rebound so well,” Iowa coach Lisa Bluder said. “You’ve got five people averaging in double figures. That’s really hard to guard when you have that kind of balance.”

And Iowa is more than just Clark, who had 15 assists addition to her 29 points in the Hawkeyes’ blowout win over Colorado in the Sweet 16.

Gabbie Marshall and Kate Martin, who each had 14 points against the Buffaloes, have stepped into bigger roles this year. And 6-foot-2 Hannah Stuelke has replaced Monika Czinano as the team’s second-leading scorer.

“I really like Hannah’s game,” Reese said. “She’s a strong post player. She’s more versatile than Czinano, so I know I’m going to have to guard her much higher than I had to guard Czinano last year.”

Clark said she’s learned some lessons from the loss a year ago and plans to be more aggressive this time around.

“I think I took 19 3s and 22 shots total versus LSU the last time we played them,” she said. “So not settling and falling in love with my 3-point shot, being able to get into the paint, drive into the paint, I think that allows my teammates to get open.”

DEFENSIVE CHALLENGE

Morris had the unenviable assignment of guarding Clark last year, but Morris now plays for the Harlem Globetrotters. That leaves sophomore Flau’jae Johnson to take the job this time around, albeit with a lot of help from her teammates.

“I want to compete at the highest level, and right now Caitlin is the highest level,” she said. “So if I can defend her, try to contain her and get the win, we’ll be fine.”

STEPPING UP

Iowa is again expected to be without starter Molly Davis, who suffered a knee injury on March 3 against Ohio State.

Sydney Affolter, a junior, has moved into the starting lineup in her place and is averaging more than seven points and six rebounds for the Hawkeyes. She had 15 points in the Sweet 16.

“It really was effortless for her to move in there,” Bluder said. “She’s always been confident. She’s always been just this tough like chip-on-my-shoulder, I’m-going-to-prove-you-wrong type of kid. So it has been very easy. Now, would I love to have Molly Davis back? Certainly I would love to have Molly Davis back. But I am so happy that Syd is showing everybody what she’s capable of.”
