Banana Beach

Banana Beach is the other main beach of Coral Island, shaped like a banana, hence its name. Located off the eastern end of Long Beach and is much smaller and more secluded and an excellent location for snorkeling off the beach with teems of tropical fish just off the stunning shoreline.

A private charter means fewer tourists and more island time. Skip dining in a restaurant as we serve up a special private lunch at your convenience. You can choose to relax and enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach or a buffet lunch on the boat, if you prefer, as you dip and dive and enjoy your tropical, sun-kissed surroundings.

If you want to walk off lunch, there is an enjoyable short walk through the tropical vegetation to a small but scenic viewpoint set across the sunshine expanse and sparkling blue hues of the Andaman Sea.

There is The Coral Island Resort on Long Beach (also known as Kahung Beach). It is the best hotel – and only hotel on the island. For details of the accommodation options and restaurants on the island for breakfast, lunch, and night dining, it is best to contact Coral Island Resort for up-to-date information. The Batik painting classes were also popular, which you can enquire about with Coral Island Resort.

Can I rent snorkeling equipment on Koh Hae?

You can rent snorkeling equipment and other water sports equipment on the island. However, snorkeling equipment is available for our guests on a private day charter with Coral Seekers. If you are a beginner, you can book a beginner snorkeling course from either of the two beaches.

Can I travel to Coral Island all year round?

Yes, you can visit Coral Island any time of year. High season is the busiest time with many tourists, and island hopping is popular. Book early if you plan to take a day trip by speedboat. As a tourist seeking less crowds, low season is a better time to go, taking into account that monsoon season falls between May and November. It is best to seek the advice of a local guide for the best time to go during this time.

How do I get to Coral Island Phuket?

There are several ways to get to Coral Island by boat from Phuket. There are a number of Coral Island tours, such as private charters by speedboat or Yacht with Coral Seekers. The simplest way, due to the short distance, is by speedboat or to rent a longtail boat for the trip from either Rawai Beach or Chalong Pier area.

A private speedboat is the quickest way to get around Koh Phi Phi, so you’ll be able to cover pretty much all of the islands on this tour. As this is a private tour, tour routes are flexible by your preferences.

This tour does not follow a fixed route or a fixed schedule. Koh Phi Phi is dynamic and so are we. Maiton Island is located in the Andaman Sea between the Phi Phi Islands and Phuket, it’s a private island and there are fewer public day tours which visit this island. A stop here can be include in the tour, at an extra cost.

This tour includes collection from anywhere within Phuket, we’ll meet you at your hotel and pick you up with a private car to transfer you to the harbour. The collection time is flexible, and set by you, as this tour is 100% private.

If you’re staying at an Airbnb in Phuket, no worries! Just share your booking link instead of providing a hotel name.

The journey to Phi Phi Island takes around one hour by speedboat if we travel there directly, this tour uses the same private speedboat to travel to and from Phi Phi and for the tour itself. There is no need for any transfer or to change the boat.

Khao Lak: While our tour was designed only to depart from Phuket, we get a lot of requests from Khao Lak guests eager to join in the fun. We recommend staying in Phuket for this adventure, when possible. Or considering our tour to the Similan Island Tours as an alternative. But if you’re still keen to take this tour from Khao Lak, it’s doable! Just be prepared for a longer journey, we must advise you there is approximately two hours of driving each way, and an additional cost for collection outside of Phuket.

Approximate Tour Duration For Phuket [Package B]

This tour involves a private speedboat charter entirely for you. This means you have the flexibility to start the tour in your own time. Choose a collection time at either 7.00, 8.00, 9.00, or 10.00 – we don’t recommend leaving any later than this.

This tour lasts on average for 7 – 8 hours. It usually takes around one hour each way to travel to the Phi Phi Islands, and we’ll have around 5-6 hours in the Phi Phi Islands, the perfect amount of time. As this is a private tour, times and schedules are approximate.

There is so much to do and see on this Phi Phi Island Tour by Speedboat, the Phi Phi Islands are the main highlight, with the opportunity to make additional stops too. This tour includes a private speedboat, which gives total flexibility to the tour. We’ll include all the highlights, and this tour includes stops at Maya Bay, and Bamboo Island too. Spend time in the town exploring Koh Phi Phi, hike to the viewpoint (on request), hang out on the beaches, and snorkel in the lagoons and coral reefs. You’ll be able to see wildlife like Monkeys and Reef Sharks, and we stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

Maya Bay, Pilleh Lagoon, Monkey Beach, Shark Point, Long Beach, Wang Long Cove. These are all examples of places around Koh Phi Phi Leh or Koh Phi Phi Don which we cansider to stop at on this tour. However there is no fixed route.

Lunch is included, and we stop off in town on Phi Phi Don. Sit down to grab a bite to eat in one of our favourite local restaurants. We have a set menu to choose from with a selection of hand-picked classic Thai meals, the menu is designed to showcase the best flavours of Southern Thailand. And don’t worry, unless you request otherwise, we serve the lunch as ‘not-too-spicy’!

Access to bottled drinking water is made available through the tour.

Alcoholic drinks are not included, but guests are welcome to bring their own. We supply an ice-chiller on the longtail boat to keep your drinks chilled. If you prefer us to supply alcoholic drinks you can inform us in advance.
