We offer fantastic shared facilities, all set in our lush, tropical, peaceful and unique setting. Magnums is the most central accommodations in Airlie Beach, within walking distance of all the great restaurants, pubs and nightclubs the town has on offer. Add to all of this that we are also only minutes away from the famous lagoon, Coral Sea Marina and Port of Airlie, this makes Magnums THE place to stay while exploring the turquoise waters of the Whitsundays. Located just a 3-minute walk from the lagoon, Airlie Beach Magnums features a volleyball court, recreation room, a garden with BBQ facilities, luggage storage, laundry facilities, one large kitchen and outdoor dining area. All guests MUST be 18+ years old to stay at Magnums. ID will be requested at check-in.

Your Responsibilities:

You must reconfirm all booked accommodation prior to stay as specified on your voucher. If applicable, additional fees should also be confirmed at this time. Reconfirmations cannot be actioned through Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel, and must be done so directly through the Service Operator as specified on each ticket.

It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.

It is the responsibility of all passengers to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and check-in agent before staying of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.

Prices/Extra Costs:

All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Surcharges over peak holiday seasons may apply. 

The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices and extra costs. Bonds may also apply.

We will also endeavour to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking, and on your ticket. However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply with each Service Operator upon reconfirming your trip.

Travel Risk/Insurance:

It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Merchant Fees:

Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

All ticket/voucher reissues attract a $20 administration fee.

Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:

Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value. 

E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees. You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.

Cancellations

Client Cancellations: 

All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 7 days until check-in date forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.

It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to [email protected]. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.

Supplier Cancellations:

All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Products may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Service Operator. If the Service Operator has to cancel the activity and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.

In the unlikely event of accommodation being cancelled, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.

All refunds are in Australian Dollars and must be made to the card of payment. Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.

Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the product to another product or “Credit” to avoid the administration fee. A transfer fee of $20 will apply.

You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to clear into Australian accounts and up to 21 business days for international accounts.

Accountability/Misconduct:

All Service Operators have the right to provide client feedback and to cancel bookings based off of feedback from other Service Operators.

“supplier” means any tour operator or other supplier of the services “you” means the guest booking and person named on this reservation booking “we”, “our” means The Whitsundays Central Reservations Centre and A.J.LAURENT PTY LTD These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made through The Whitsundays Central Reservations Centre. Placing a booking with The Whitsundays Central Reservations Centre and paying a deposit constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Booking Conditions

For bookings made more than 30 days prior to travel, a 25% deposit is due to secure your booking with the balance due 30 days prior to travel. For bookings made within 30 days of travel, the full payment is due immediately to secure your booking. If we do not receive your full payment within 30 days of your travel date and you do not contact us to cancel, your deposit is forfeited and your booking may be automatically cancelled by us, the supplier or both.

Prices are quoted in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST, and all payments must be made in Australian dollars. Your reservation will only be confirmed when funds have been received and are cleared. The Whitsundays Central Reservations Centre is not responsible for delays in postal delivery, bank or payment system processing. It is your responsibility to ensure that payments are received within the times specified. If the deposit or final payment is not received by the due date, The Whitsundays Central Reservations Centre has the right cancel the booking. If your final payment is not paid by the due date and in any event within 30 days of your departure, we have the right to cancel your booking and retain the deposit in full without any reimbursement to cover our costs and those of any supplier.

Cancellations and Amendments to Bookings

If you wish to cancel or amend any booking made you need to contact us in writing. You can only cancel or amend a confirmed booking by contacting us directly. If you do not contact us to cancel prior to your booking departure date, you may forfeit your deposit and further costs.

Cancellation Charges and Amendment Fees

Any cancellation or amendment made more than 30 days before travel will incur an administration fee of 25% of the total booking fee. All cancellations or amendments made within 30 days of your travel date departure will incur both an administration fee of 25% in addition to the individual supplier’s fees. Any changes requested to your booking, including but not limited to dates, are subject to availability and if they are not available, you may be required to cancel and agree to the cancellation terms. IMPORTANT NOTE: Some services and activities may not permit any refund for certain bookings. You should check with the individual supplier or The Whitsundays Central Reservations Centre prior to paying for your booking to confirm any special non-refundable conditions.

Travel Insurance

We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover your reservation, and valuable items (e.g. cameras). Your travel insurance policy should include coverage to protect against unforeseen and last-minute cancellations or medical conditions that may prevent travel and also to cover any medical emergencies during travel at minimum.

Supplier Tours and Services Changes

In the unlikely case of a vessel break down, maintenance or unavailability, the supplier will supply an alternate vessel of a similar standard and quality. Itineraries may be affected by elements beyond our and the supplier’s control such as wind, tide, rain, storm or other weather conditions which make travel dangerous and require a delay or cancellation. It is the skipper's requirement to ensure passenger safety at all times and may use his/her professional judgment in any manner to keep his/her guests and crew safe. In the instance of such delay or cancellation, alternative options will be provided by the supplier. In the event a cancellation or delay occurs and your tour or service is cancelled and rescheduled, you will receive a full refund if you are unable to rebook your tour or service.

You are using these services and taking any tours at your own risk. POLARIS are primed to return to Australian stages, today announcing a massive regional tour this June and July alongside special guests OCEAN GROVE and BLOOM.  

“We’re super excited to be heading back out to Regional parts of Australia this June / July.  It’s been quite a few years since we’ve been to some of these places and we’re visiting some new towns also which is going to be really nice.  I feel very lucky to be able to visit so many different areas of our beautiful country and I love being able to play our music to people that don't often get tours coming through their towns.” Jamie Hails, Polaris Fear and its potent ability to divide and unite us beats at the core of POLARIS’s third album Fatalism, with the 2023 full length debuting at #1 on the ARIA Charts, and also garnering nominations for Australian Album of the Year at the 2023 J Awards and for the 2023 Australian Music Prize. Steeped in angst alongside underlying catharsis, Fatalism organically builds on the bleak imagery and hard-hitting soundscapes permeating Polaris’s previous release, 2020’s The Death of Me, while also galvanizing the Sydney five-piece’s trademark blend of melodic metalcore, lush post rock, electronic flourishes and beyond.   POLARIS had already firmly established their place as a fixture in the Australian heavy landscape via their first two albums, 2020’s ARIA Award-nominated The Death Of Me and 2017’s The Mortal Coil, which debuted in the Australian Top 10. Sydney metalcore outfit BLOOM combine ferocity and impassioned lyricism, with their immersive catalogue centered on grief, love and exile. Beddy Rays lock in tour dates for a whip around their fave venues

What's the time? It's tour o'clock for Beddy Rays , who are having a big stretch and hitting a bunch of stages around the country in August and September.

The Queenslanders are ready to knock the froth off a few coldies with their mates around the traps this year, bringing their essential big-grinning rock dog vibes with them.

Beddy Rays' Schooner or Later tour will be kicking things off in the sunny lands of Yuwibara Lands/Mackay in Queensland before working down to Naarm/Melbourne.

The lads will then flick back up to Larrakia Country/Darwin and make their way down the west coast, over to South Australia, off the mainland to Tassie and finally winding it all up in Brisbane at the end of September.
