Korn frontman Jonathan Davis belts to the rafters from the stage.

The freaks have been unleashed.

Korn — 30 years into their celebrated career — just announced they’re hitting the road this fall for a head-banging, fist-pounding nationwide tour with heavy special guests Gojira and Spiritbox.

Along the way, Jonathan Davis and co. are slated to stop into Camden, NJ’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 20, and Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Monday, Sept. 23.

This run, the two-time Grammy winners’ first since 2022’s co-headlining jaunt with Evanescence, also includes a 30th-anniversary concert at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium on Oct. 5 and a stop at Louisville, KY’s annual Louder Than Life Festival .

For fans — or “Children of the Korn” if you will — that need tickets now, you can pick them up as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, March 29, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Korn set list

Nü-metal heads, you’re probably curious what Korn will bring to the stage this year.

While we can’t say for sure, here’s what the heavy vets played at their last live show, which happened to be at the 2023 *Aftershock Festival.

Although festival sets are typically shorter than headlining concerts, this should give fans a pretty good idea of what to expect at a gig this fall.

01.) “Rotting in Vain” 02.) “Here to Stay” 03.) “Y’All Want a Single” 04.) “Got the Life” 05.) “A.D.I.D.A.S.” 06.) “Good God” 07.) “Start the Healing” 08.) “Blind” 09.) “Clown” 10.) “Falling Away From Me” 11.) “Coming Undone” 12.) “Did My Time” 13.) “Somebody Someone” Encore:

14.) “Shoots and Ladders” 15.) “Twist” 16.) “Freak on a Leash”

Korn new music

On Feb. 4, 2022, Korn dropped their 14th studio album “Requiem.”

Comprised of nine songs and clocking in at just 32.5 minutes, the record is a non-stop, in-your-face, full-on Korn experience complete with the band’s signature speedy drums, throaty vocals, and dark lyrics.

“Its nine tracks flow with crisp focus, and every song is in that sweet spot of around four minutes,” Metal Injection writes. “Both casual Korn fans and nü-metal freaks should feel jazzed about this effort.”

You can listen to “Requiem” in its entirety here .

Korn special guests

At all shows, Korn is bringing a pair of heavy openers to kick off the festivities.

If you’re not familiar with their heavy oeuvres, you can sample their sounds below.

Korn Dubstep Their Way Into New York City

To celebrate their new dubstep-inspired release, 'The Path of Totality,' Korn put together an equally experimental tour with the entire opening roster consisting of electronic artists. On Friday (Nov. 4), Korn brought the tour to the Roseland Ballroom in midtown Manhattan, bringing a night of dubstep, nu-metal and Adidas tracksuits to the city.

With the positive fan reactions to both 'Get Up!' and 'Narcissistic Cannibal,' the first two singles from 'The Path of Totality,' the possibility of Korn fans embracing the dubstep acts was very real. The Ballroom was completely packed with older and younger generations of Korn fans, potentially expanding the range of musical taste within the audience. Unfortunately, the dubstep acts were met with a lukewarm (at best) reaction from the crowd, except for when Korn frontman Jonathan Davis joined Downlink onstage to perform 'Tension,' a B-side from 'The Path of Totality.'

As the time drew near for Korn to take the stage, fans began to chant "We want Korn!" during the various dubstep acts. Finally, after two hours of electronic acts, Korn's crew began to set up the band's equipment. The crowd was already incredibly rowdy, with fights breaking out, puffs of smoke filling the venue and enough drinks being poured to rival a tailgating session before a Slayer show.

As Korn took the stage, they were met with a tremendous reception by the crowd. The three remaining founders of the band -- Jonathan Davis, Munky and Fieldy -- graced the front of the stage and launched into 'Predictable' from their self-titled album. After a few more songs, Korn began to play a block of new music, with 'Narcissistic Cannibal' and 'Get Up!' proving to be two of the night's highlights, although Davis' voice didn't quite pack the punch it did on the new album during the chorus of 'Get Up!'

Korn also played fan favorites 'Freak on a Leash' and 'Falling Away From Me,' plus their cover of the Pink Floyd classic 'Another Brick in the Wall.' Fans began chanting for Korn immediately as they left the stage before their encore. The band returned to play a two-song medley of 'Shoots and Ladders' going into Metallica 's 'One.' Korn finished strong with '90s classics 'Got the Life' and 'Blind,' which resulted in wall-to-wall moshing from the crowd as Davis screamed "Are you ready?!"

Korn brought in some of the most rabid and energetic fans we've ever seen at a show. New-school fans not only got to see one of their favorite bands, but were given a unique look into the '90s through the band's performance as well as the old-school Korn fans who have kept their passion alive for nearly 20 years.

Korn: Summer Tour 2022 with Evanescence at Jones Beach Theater

Korn tickets, jones beach theater | wantagh, new york.

Two of rock’s longstanding powerhouse acts, Korn and Evanescence, are teaming up for a 2022 US tour, coming to Jones Beach Theater on Sunday, August 28th 2022. Korn will be out in support of their recently released 2022 album, Requiem, the nu-metal pioneers’ 14th studio LP. Meanwhile, Evanescence are touring behind 2021’s The Bitter Truth, which marked the band’s first album of new material in 10 years. The two bands will be joined by as-yet-unnamed various support acts throughout the tour. Grab some tickets right now.

Korn: Summer Tour 2022 with Evanescence at Jones Beach Theater

“We’re looking forward to going on tour this summer and bringing our friends, Evanescence, out,” said Korn singer Jonathan Davis. “Whenever Amy comes to one of our shows, I always love seeing her on the side of the stage watching the whole set and rocking out. We’re gonna have a great time on this tour, and we can’t wait to see you there.” Evanescence’s Amy Lee added, “I fell hard into Korn’s music in high school. It was an inspiration during the formation of my own band. The chances we’ve had to play together over the years are special, a part of our history. They remain one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. It’s an honor and a thrill to go out with our friends again, our first full tour together since ‘07. We’re all really looking forward to this.”

Korn's current lineup features founding members James "Munky" Shaffer, on rhythm guitar, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu on bass, Brian "Head" Welch on lead guitar, and backing vocals, and lead singer Jonathan Davis, with the addition of drummer Ray Luzier. Their latest album, Requiem, is their fourteenth. It was released in February 2022 with AllMusic saying, "Against the odds, Korn have done it again with Requiem, a quick and ferocious blast that finds the band still hungry and innovative nearly 30 years into the game." Requiem charted at number 14 on the Billboard 200, number 2 on the Rock Albums chart, number 1 on the Hard Rock Albums chart, as well as number 1 in both the UK and Australia.

Evanescence was founded in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1995 by singer, pianist, and keyboardist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody, who left the band in 2007. The rest of the band are guitarist and baking singers Troy McLawhorn and Jen Majura, with bassist Tim McCord, and drummer Will Hunt. Their fourth studio album, The Bitter Truth, was released in March 2021, and is the band's first full album of new material since their self-titled third album in 2011. AllMusic said, "Altogether, The Bitter Truth carries listeners on a journey both familiar and fresh, recapturing the heavy-yet-melodic hallmarks that made Fallen one of the most successful albums of the 2000s and pushing Evanescence into the future with a graceful maturity and worldly perspective." The Bitter Truth charted at number 11 on the Billboard 200, number 2 on the rock Albums chart, and number 1 on the Hard Rock Albums chart.

Korn changed the world with the release of their self-titled debut album. It was a record that would pioneer a genre, while the band’s enduring success points to a larger cultural moment. The FADER notes, “There was an unexpected opening in the pop landscape and Korn articulated a generational coming-of-angst for a claustrophobic, self-surveilled consciousness. Korn became the soundtrack for a generation’s arrival as a snarling, thrashing, systemically-restrained freak show.”

Since forming, Korn has sold 40 million albums worldwide, collected two Grammys, toured the world countless times, and set many records in the process that will likely never be surpassed. Korn has continued to push the limits of the rock, alternative and metal genres, while remaining a pillar of influence for legions of fans and generations of artists around the globe.

The level of Korn’s reach transcends accolades and platinum certifications. They are “a genuine movement in a way bands cannot be now,” attests The Ringer. They represent a new archetype and radical innovation, their ability to transcend genre makes barriers seem irrelevant.

The band’s latest release, Requiem, was born out of very different circumstances than the majority of the band’s catalog; with their busy touring schedule halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the band found themselves energized by a new creative process free of time constraints. This allowed them to do things with Requiem that the past two decades haven’t always afforded them, such as taking additional time to experiment together or diligently recording to analog tape – processes which unearthed newfound sonic dimension and texture in their music. The record has been praised by fans and critics alike and also saw its lead single, “Start The Healing,” reach #1 on the Modern Rock Radio chart.

About Evanescence

Two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Evanescence has made an impact on people around the world. The group’s 2003 landmark debut album Fallen laid the foundation, spending 43 weeks on the Billboard Top 10 and selling more than 17 million copies worldwide. Debut single and global hit “Bring Me to Life” reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and marked their first U.K. #1 hit single. The equally popular “My Immortal” peaked at #7 in the U.S. and U.K.

Following multiple worldwide tours, The Open Door came next, which went on to sell more than five million copies followed by the self-titled Evanescence which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Charts. Evanescence lead singer-songwriter and pianist Amy Lee, bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will Hunt, lead guitarist Troy McLawhorn, and guitarist and backing vocalist Jen Majura went down both very new and familiar paths for their symphonic/electronic 4th release, Synthesis, in 2017 via BMG.   The album scored four Billboard #1s debuting atop the Independent, Alternative, Rock, and Classical Album Charts.

Evanescence launched their worldwide “Synthesis Live” tour in October 2017 combining their intense live performances and timeless songwriting with a powerful live orchestra. In March of 2021, Evanescence released their newest studio album, The Bitter Truth, featuring the songs, “Wasted On You” & “Use My Voice,” both of which were nominated for MTV Video Awards, as well as “Better Without You,” a Top-10 charting song at US Rock Radio, having spent an incredible 27 weeks on the chart.

Recent tour reviews

Terrible show and a massive disappointment.

There were no warnings before entering the venue about use of strobe lights, and I didn't see any signs indicating use of strobe lights at all. As a result, I was caught off guard by the use of the strobes and felt sick for a couple of days afterwards.

The show itself used a lot of strong coloured lights to illuminate the stage too, which combined with the smoke machine, as someone who is colour blind meant that I could not see the stage for 80% of the show. The times I could, my eyes were hurting too much from the strobes to see anything.

So overall, it was a massive let down for a band I have wanted to see live for many years.

With their sound system and great instrumentation all locked into a great groove, Korn are better than they ever were before! As to any wild antics, the one that stood out that was unfortunately unfavourable entailed a nasty woman whom I called out after she attempted to shoehorn her way up to the front where I'd staked out a spot and then subsequently attacked my husband. Hiccups of that nature along with a moderate delay with no explanation nonetheless paid off, in particular with Jonathan Davis as he serenaded us on the bagpipes upon kicking off 'Shoots and Ladders'! Not only that but the pre-concert meet/greet was super as was a little recognition in the form of a point and smile from Munky Shaffer up front toward the end of the night!

Korn was Great as always ,I was kind of suprised that they place wasnt packed. The deadest Korn concert I have ever gone to.But it could be the Venue .Not the best venue in my opnion .One dont dare forget to get your ticket from your spouse or they wont let you back to your seat ..and 2 if you go out one way you wont be able to get back the same way necessarily like what happened to me.They wont let you. .Knotfest was packed and alot crazier then this place but I never got asked for my ticket to get back to my seat.Considering people were seat hoping all night anyways and they upgraded a bunch if not all the lawn area to seating ..Pretty damn dumb .I figure if I own a seat and someone sits in it.I just get it back .Pretty damn strict for a place that has never really been a popular venue and sure wasnt packed last night .

Panthers

Florida Panthers

Rangers

New York Rangers

Tied going into game 5, rangers-panthers series in the east final is quite the show.

SUNRISE, Fla. -- — Some tickets to Thursday's Game 5 of the Florida-New York series at Madison Square Garden are listed for more than $4,000 apiece on the secondary markets. For Saturday's Game 6 in South Florida, listings for similar seats at ice level are reaching around $3,000.

Obviously, that's big money.

Florida coach Paul Maurice isn't going to tell anyone how to spend their dollars. But he is convinced that this Eastern Conference final between the Panthers and the Rangers — tied at two games apiece going into Game 5 — is giving fans their money's worth, no matter the get-in cost.

“I think it’s phenomenal hockey," Maurice said. "If you're up three-nothing, that’s easy for the coach to say. But it’s 2-2. It’s tight. Great saves at both ends. There's incredible skill, incredible speed ... just two really good teams. You can tell they have good leadership. They’ve got great skill. And it's 2-2. Both teams are going to play at least six games. And if you’re a fan of hockey, you’re going to get entertained.”

The Panthers tied the series on Tuesday night in Game 4, winning 3-2 on Sam Reinhart 's goal 72 seconds into overtime — the third straight game that went past the 60-minute mark in this series. Florida won Game 1, New York took the next two in OT and then the Panthers got the equalizer.

A best-of-seven series is now a best-of-three, which likely isn't a surprise. New York has won a league-best 67.7% of its games this season. Florida has the second-best mark in the NHL, 63.9%. Thinking this East title series was going to be a cakewalk either way would have been foolish.

“Back to New York, it’s 2-2, get ready for Game 5,” Rangers captain Jacob Trouba said. “We didn’t expect it to be an easy series.”

It hasn't been — for either side.

Total goals: Panthers 11, Rangers 9. Out of the four games, the margin on the scoreboard has been one goal or less a staggering 95.9% of the time. Florida had a multiple-goal lead for the final 3:48 of Game 1, New York had one for 6:50 of Game 3. Otherwise, it's been tied or someone up by one the whole way.

“At the end of the day, we know what we have to do better,” Rangers forward Mika Zibanejad said. "We know what we have to do more of and the recipe to get the game our way and to kind of tilt the ice the other way and go on the offensive. Just got to do it more often.”

The Rangers had the best record in the NHL this season, earning them home-ice advantage throughout the postseason. Florida already has won a game at MSG in this series, and to return to the Stanley Cup Final for a second straight season, the Panthers will have to win there at least once more.

Including playoffs, Florida has the second-best road record in the NHL this season, behind Dallas.

“It’s going to be a great atmosphere up in New York for Game 5,” Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk said. “At the end of the day, they earned it. They had more points in the regular season, so it’s up to us to go in there and just win a road game like we have this year.”

HOME VS. ROAD

Florida set a club record for road wins in a total season (including playoffs) in 2021-22 with 26. The Panthers broke it last season with 27 — and have broken it again this season with 31.

It's strength vs. strength now. The Rangers have the most home wins in the NHL this season, with 35.

The Panthers are 8-5 all-time in Game 5s, 3-2 on the road. They're 1-1 in Game 5s in these playoffs, beating Tampa Bay 6-1 to close out Round 1 and falling 2-1 at home to Boston in Round 2.

The Rangers are 30-44 in Game 5s and have dropped each of their last four — getting held to one goal or less in three of those four games.

PANARIN'S RUN

Rangers forward Artemi Panarin had two assists in Game 4, pushing his total points this season — regular season and playoffs — to 134.

That's 10 more than any Rangers player has ever had in a full season. Jaromir Jagr had 124 in 2005-06.

American golfer Harry Higgs creates history on the Korn Ferry Tour

H arry Higgs won the 2024 Visit Knoxville Open of the Korn Ferry Tour on May 26. It is his second win in two consecutive starts on the circuit, but his performance was of historic significance.

By winning the tournament in a playoff, Higgs became the first Korn Ferry Tour player to win two consecutive tournaments in sudden death. His victory at the AdventHealth Championship the previous week had been by the same route.

Harry Higgs won the 2024 Visit Knoxville Open by defeating Frankie Capan III with an eagle on the second playoff hole. Higgs and Capan finished the 72 holes tied with a score of 19 under.

A week earlier, Higgs defeated Tanner Gore by birdieing the first playoff hole to win the AdventHealth Championship. Both players tied for first place in the tournament with a score of 19 under.

It is the second win in seven tournaments played during the current season for Higgs, and his third on the Korn Ferry Tour. In 2019 he had won the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper.

Higgs' 2024 results include three missed cuts and two other Top 20s on the Korn Ferry Tour. On the PGA Tour he has played four tournaments with two missed cuts and a T43 at the Corales Puntacana Championship as his best result.

Harry Higgs' career at a glance

Higgs, 32, began his professional golf career in 2014. He had previously played U.S. collegiate golf for the Southern Methodist University Mustangs, with Bryson DeChambeau and Kelly Kraft as teammates.

He played the 2015 season on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica, making six cuts and finishing in a Top 25 in 12 tournaments played. He did not play on the circuits associated with the PGA Tour again until 2018, when he returned to the Latin American circuit.

His return was in style, as he made it through 11 cuts in 18 tournaments and managed to finish in seven Top 10s, including his first professional victory (Diners Club Peru Open presented by Lexus) and two second places.

This performance earned him his Korn Ferry Tour card for the 2019 season. At this new level, Higgs again excelled, with 18 cuts made in 22 tournaments played.

His season results included five Top 10s, counting two second place finishes and his first tour win (Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper).

His performance led him to earn his PGA Tour card for the 2019 - 2020 season. Higgs played at the highest level until 2023, when he lost his card and had to return to the Korn Ferry Tour.

On the PGA Tour, Higgs has played 118 events, with 57 cuts passed. His best results include two second-place finishes and four other top 10s. Among his greatest career successes is a T4 finish at the 2021 PGA Championship .

Grayson Murray, Winner of Two PGA Tour Titles, Dies at 30

Murray, who was outspoken about his depression and alcohol abuse, had begun a comeback after several volatile years, winning this year’s Sony Open in Hawaii.

By Emmett Lindner

Grayson Murray, the professional golfer who won two PGA Tour titles and was outspoken about his battles with depression and alcohol, died on Saturday. He was 30.

His death was confirmed in a statement on Saturday by the PGA Tour. He died by suicide, according to a PGA Tour statement that was released on Sunday on behalf of his parents.

“We have spent the last 24 hours trying to come to terms with the fact that our son is gone,” the statement said. “It’s surreal that we not only have to admit it to ourselves, but that we also have to acknowledge it to the world.”

After a successful 40-foot putt to win the Sony Open in Hawaii in January, Murray rose to 46th in the Official World Golf Ranking, a career high. The event marked the height of a comeback run after several volatile years as Murray struggled with his mental health.

In a news conference after winning the Sony Open, Murray said that for a time he would drink during tournament weeks.

“Best thing and worst thing that ever happened to me was winning my rookie year, but also feeling like I was invincible,” he said. “I’m a different man now, and I would not be in this position right now, today, if I didn’t put that drink down eight months ago.”

He added that he had attended rehabilitation for a month. “I hope I can inspire a lot of people going forward that have their own issues,” he said. Murray had failed to gain PGA Tour status for several months last year after a series of off-course events mirrored a decline in his play.

An alcohol-related incident at a hotel bar in Hawaii in 2021 led to his suspension from the PGA Tour. Afterward, he posted to social media.

“Why was I drunk?” he wrote, adding that he was an “alcoholic that hates everything to do with the PGA Tour life and that’s my scapegoat.”

The golfer Phil Mickelson, who has struggled with a gambling addiction , responded at the time on social media , saying “If I can help in any way I’d be happy to.”

This year, Murray played well enough to qualify for the Masters Tournament and P.G.A. Championship. On Friday, he withdrew from the second round of the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, citing an illness.

Grayson Murray was born on Oct. 1, 1993, in Raleigh, N.C., according to an ESPN biography. Mr. Murray is survived by his parents, Eric and Terry, and his brother, Cameron, and sister, Erica, according to the statement.

He attended Wake Forest, East Carolina and Arizona State Universities, and at 16 he became the second-youngest player to enter the Korn Ferry Tour, according to the PGA Tour.

He continued to gain prominence, playing in the U.S. Open at the age of 19 and clinching a win at the 2017 Barbasol Championship, sinking a five-foot putt for a one-stroke victory.

After losing his PGA Tour card for the 2023 season, and following an angry outburst directed at Jay Monahan, the PGA Tour’s commissioner, he seemed to have found his swing again. He won two Korn Ferry Tour tournaments last year, regaining his PGA Tour eligibility, and finished in the top 10 at two events.

If you are having thoughts of suicide, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline or go to SpeakingOfSuicide.com/resources for a list of additional resources.

Because of an editing error, the headline on an earlier version of this article misstated the winning record of Grayson Murray. He won two PGA Tour titles, not tours.

Grayson Murray remembered by fellow PGA Tour golfer Harry Higgs in heartfelt tribute

FT. WORTH, Texas -- Golfer Harry Higgs, who plays on the PGA Tour's developmental tour, delivered a powerful speech on Sunday after winning the Visit Knoxville Open in which reflected on how best to honor Grayson Murray following his death at the weekend.

Murray's death was announced by the PGA Tour on Saturday, a day after the 30-year-old withdrew from competition, citing illness, at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas. His parents confirmed on Sunday that he died by suicide.

"We lost, [ Saturday ] morning, one of our own," said Higgs after the 32-year-old became the first player on theKornFerry Tour to win consecutive tournaments in a playoff in Knoxville, Tennessee. "Somebody who went through a lot of difficult things, somebody that was open and honest about it, and last night ... I thought about this moment, and how to maybe remember Grayson.

"One thing that I thought of last night, especially laying in bed, is I would challenge everybody here, ... and I'm going to do this myself as well each day, ... say something nice to someone you love and also make a point to say something nice to someone you do not even know.

"So if we can, everybody here could be a difference, the difference, brighten up somebody's day. It could mean the world."

In his speech, Higgs admitted that he had struggled to sleep during the night before the Visit Knoxville Open's final day, with the weight of a winner's speech and how best to honor Murray occupying his mind.

Higgs' victory at Holston Hills Country Club was a momentous one for Higgs - he now sits No. 2 in the Korn Ferry Tour Points List, virtually ensuring his automatic qualification for the PGA Tour in 2025.

"This golf stuff and the result, it's lovely, sure, but it's just not that meaningful," added Higgs. "I'm certainly not perfect, but I'm going to certainly try to live what I said.

"Say something nice to a loved one and say something nice to somebody you don't know and try to accomplish that daily. That will be part of my routine, part of the things that I can control outside the golf course and hopefully bring light to somebody that may be having a hard time."
