Bob Waggoner

Chef Bob Waggoner definitely has the accolades to be an Expert Host on our Expertly Done Culinary & Wine Travel tours. From a Michelin star, James Beard nominations, and AAA Four-Diamond awards, to “L’Odre du Mérite Agricole” from the Government of France (which knighted him for his contributions to France), his prowess in the kitchen is exceptional. Coupled with his approachable, engaging personality (that also won him an Emmy award), Chef Bob truly makes each tour memorable.  When he is not in his kitchen in Charleston or fishing from his boat in the low country, you often will find him meandering the markets, enjoying wine and olive oil tastings, and creating chef’s dinners with our “sous chefs” on our tours in France, Italy, Spain, and Argentina. As well, he is the author of the  Charleston Grill at Charleston Place: French Influenced Lowcountry Cuisine cookbook.

Sarah Jane Evans

Sarah Jane Evans is the ideal companion as an Expert Host on our Expertly Done Culinary & Wine Travel tours to Spain and South America. First and foremost, she is great company. She’s a Master of Wine, one of fewer than 500 in the world, so she is ready to answer — or try to answer — all your wine questions. Sarah Jane has a great love of food and wine, as befits a one-time president of the Guild of Food Writers, and is happiest exploring food markets, and making discoveries of new wines in wine bars and shops. She is a board member of the Academy of Chocolate, so she is happy talking and tasting all things cacao. Her published books include  The Book of Tea and Coffee ,  Chocolate Unwrapped ,  Seville , and  The Wines of Northern Spain . She’s currently researching  The Wines of Central and Southern Spain . You’ll find her published in Decanter magazine, and on  Decanter.com . She is an expert taster, and is Co-Chairman of the world’s largest wine competition, the Decanter World Wine Awards. Sarah Jane lives in London with her husband and two cats, and has two grownup daughters.

Adriana Urbina

Chef Adriana Urbina is a Venezuelan award-winning chef, TV host and nutritionist with more than 12 years of experience in the restaurant industry, based in New York. She brings her talents to our Expertly Done Culinary & Wine Travel tours, including her training at top international culinary institutes, including L’ecole de Cuisine Alain Ducasse in France and Sumito Estévez’s Instituto Culinario Caracas in Venezuela. Chef Adriana worked in several Michelin starred restaurants, including 3 Michelin stars Martin Berasategui and Andoni Aduriz in Spain, 1 Michelin star Rouge Tomate and 2 Michelin stars Atera. She has competed in multiple national cooking TV shows and Chef Adriana is a three-time winner of Food Network’s “Chopped” — the only Latin-American female chef to have won the title so many times. Her talent and contagious energy make for a Premier Experience on her tour departures.

Maria Jimenez

Chef Maria Jimenez Latorre has become the face of Spanish gastronomy over the course of her culinary career and is now the native Expert Host on our Expertly Done Culinary & Wine Travel tours to Spain. She has a following throughout Spain for her magnetic personality and culinary style. She is a radio and television personality, an author of cookbooks such as  The Best Salads  and  Magias en la Cocina , and the Madrid delegate for Mujeres en la Gastronomia in Spain. She loves to teach at Alambique Esquela de Cocina in Madrid, to explore local markets (particularly spice markets), and to find new places that surprise her with their cuisine, products, and wine. Her insider’s knowledge of Spain is exceptional and she shares it with the guests on our tours.

Maria Jose San Roman Monastrell

Chef Maria Jose San Roman Monastrell is a Michelin-starred Spanish chef and restaurateur, renowned for her celebration of iconic Spanish ingredients, refreshingly authentic culinary style and exceptionally high standards. Her signature approach is founded on the low-key evolution of the natural flavors found in the best ingredients that Spain has to offer. Based in Alicante, she is the proprietor of Grupo Gourmet Alicante, a collection of six restaurants and an artisan bakery workshop that sets a new paradigm in Spanish gastronomy. Her reputation as a high-energy, highly creative visionary makes her an excellent Expert Host on our tours to Spain, and to showcase the world-class cuisine and artisans of her country on our Expertly Done Culinary & Wine Travel tours. She is a frequent speaker and instructor for various international events and forums around the world, such as Madrid Fusión, the Culinary Institute of America in California, Food and Fun in Iceland, and the Congress of Gastronomy and Neuroscience at Valencia.

Chef & Winemaker

Jade Gross is Chinese-American winemaker and chef living in Northern Spain. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jade was immersed in multiple cultures since a very young age.She went to New York to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Italian. During her studies, she interned at various non-profit organizations such as the International Criminal Court. She then furthered her education with a Master’s degree in Human Rights at the London School of Economics. Upon graduating, Jade decided to leave the political world behind to pursue her dream of being a chef. She went to culinary school in Paris before interning at some of the best restaurants in the world, including Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée Hotel in Paris, D.O.M in Sao Paolo, Brasil, and El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain before landing at Mugaritz in San Sebastian, Spain. Whilst at Mugaritz, she rose up the ranks from intern to Head Chef and into the Research and Development department of the restaurant during her seven years there. In 2018, she decided to challenge herself once more and immerse herself in the world of wine. She began a small wine project and continues to make wine alongside being a private chef between La Rioja and San Sebastián.

Ron Suhanosky

From attending the Culinary Institute of America and working in some of New York and Florence, Italy’s finest restaurants, to owning his own acclaimed restaurants in Nantucket and New York, Chef Ron Suhanoksy has never shied away from adventure. Most recently, Chef Ron relocated to Todi in the Umbria region of Italy to open the restaurant of his dreams, Ciao Mi Amor. His cookbook,  Pasta Sfoglia , won a 2010 James Beard Award in the Single Subject Category, and he made frequent guest appearances on The Martha Stewart Show, The Today Show, and The CBS Early Show. His passion for the cuisine of his heritage and the Italian lifestyle, coupled with his knowledge of the local culture and artisans make Chef Ron an ideal local Italian Expert Host on our Expertly Done Culinary & Wine Travel tours to Umbria and Tuscany.

I’ve been telling lots of people how integral Premier is to the Boardman Band. All directors of student groups know how stressful travel can be. We worry about everything when we assume such great responsibility for students.

Working with Premier before, during, and after trips removes much of that stress. Every time I’d start to fret over some detail, I would feel instantly relieved knowing that Tim or Karen have it covered. That reassurance makes it so I can really enjoy each trip .

Our Coaches - The majority of our coach hire fleet is built to Euro 6 emissions standard meaning they are extremely environmentally friendly and able to move around the London, Kent, the UK and Europe unencumbered by Ultra, Low Emission and Clean Air Zones. In addition, all our vehicles are meticulously maintained and repaired using only original equipment replacement parts. The vehicles are not only inspected every 6 weeks using our in-house facilities but inspected each day before first use. Our entire coach hire fleet is thoroughly cleaned inside and out every time they leave our premises. This all ensures that you and your group travel in the very best coaches in the best possible condition that leave the smallest possible carbon footprint, at all times.

Man United vs Crystal Palace prediction, odds, betting tips and best bets for Premier League match Monday

I n a frantic fight to the finish hoping to secure a spot in a European competition next season, desperate Manchester United travel to Crystal Palace for a Premier League match on Monday.

The Red Devils sit eighth in the league standings with Chelsea level on points but one place above them and Newcastle in sixth a further two points ahead. With only four matches to go and very little chance of climbing high enough to catch Spurs in fifth, United are left to just fend off those around them knowing a valuable spot in the Europa League could be at stake.

Thanks to their recent form, which includes recent wins over Newcastle, West Ham, and Liverpool, Crystal Palace are favourites at home over the Red Devils, something you don't see too often. Palace are safe from relegation and have little to play for down the stretch, but that hasn't mattered as youngsters Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise continue to dazzle with the former pushing for a spot in England's Euro 2024 squad.

This Monday night match has the potential to get weird, and we're backing a stalemate in what could devolve into a chaotic and frenetic match, something which Manchester United fans have unfortunately become used to under Erik ten Hag of late.

As kickoff moved closer, the betting market swung significantly in the direction of the hosts, as Man United ballooned to over 2/1 underdogs and Crystal Palace saw their moneyline odds dip nearly to even money.

Under Roy Hodgson this season, Crystal Palace were 16th in the Premier League in total shots upon his resignation, but since Oliver Glasner took over the Eagles have been far more attack-minded and to great effect. While they don't rip off a ton of shots in total, they've been one of the most efficient teams in the Premier League — over their last seven games, Palace sit fourth in the Premier League with 40 percent of their efforts on target.

That presents a fascinating and enjoyable matchup against a Man United side that concedes a ton of shots (133 in their last six games, most in the Premier League by a  mile ) but just 29 percent of those on target, third-lowest in the league.

The 32-shot threshold feels like a very high bar to clear, but these two clubs produced a combined 27 efforts in the reverse fixture back in September in a 1-0 final scoreline featuring a defensive-minded Crystal Palace. With this new-look Eagles side sure to contribute more than the eight attempts (two on target) they produced in the last meeting, you can safely back both these totals in a match that has a real chance to become a track meet.

While the over 3.5 total goal mark at +120 feels enticing, Manchester United don't have enough in-form players to trust with their part of that combined tally. Rasmus Hojlund has not had enough volume up front to make him a consistent threat, and Marcus Rashford is mired in a brutal slump through the second half of the season.

Palace, though, at home, are in the opposite situation. There are so many in-form players for the Eagles that picking an individual goal scorer almost feels foolhardy. Michael Olise probably sports the best value at +160, but overall, Manchester United are so porous at the back, and Palace are in such good form, that two goals feels a fully reasonable ask from the hosts.

African Stars Come Out to Play at Bridgerton S3 Premiere

Johannesburg was a hive of activity this past weekend as celebrities from across the continent gathered for the premiere of Netflix period drama  Bridgerton  season 3.

Sticking to the Bridgeton theme,  Regency Era: Into The Spotlight , the red carpet was awash with stars who didn't need any excuse to play dress-up.

Nigerian chef and restauranteur Hilda Baci didn't disappoint, dressed in a violent ballgown and adorned with flowers in her hair.

Hilda's fellow Nigerian, actress Priscilla Ojo, perfected the brief with her gold-dust-inspired dress, a designer hat and lustrous curls.

Zimbabwean radio personality MisRed took the regency theme to heart and incorporated lace embroidered detail into her corset.

Adjoa Andoh, who plays Lady Danbury, also made a regal appearance. Adjoa is currently on a  Bridgerton  world tour and expressed her joy in being part of an event to celebrate with people from various parts of Africa because the continent plays an important role this season of  Bridgeton .

Other stars who made an impact on the red carpet were South Africa's Hope Mbhele who diverted from the corseted look and opted for a sexy red fitted dress.

Model and entrepreneur Sarah Langa entrusted celebrated designer Gert-Johan Coetzee to bring her vision to life, dressed as an ethereal princess.

Bridgerton  S3 is set to premiere on Netflix on May 16 and will be split into two parts consisting of four episodes each. This season's storyline concentrates on Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and her longtime crush, world traveller Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

According to Netflix, expect to see three new characters welcomed into the Mayfair crowd.
