This was my first time seeing La dispute live. It was amazing! The team up of them and touche amore was simply mind blowing. The metro has always been one of my favorite venues. La dispute had high energy and great sound. They were incredibly tight on stage. Crowd interaction from the front man was awesome. If you haven't seen them live,I highly recommend doing so

Venue was decent, sound was good, merch people were super friendly, la dispute killed it.

Jordan Dreyer is carrying the punk scene through some of its listeners’ darkest days with his songwriting, performances, and truly heartfelt moments in which he challenges us all to create the safe environment we all wish to live in.

Amazing as always! La Dispute never let's me down. Their sets are always full of life and passion and very fine musicians. They're truly talented. They played a beautiful set that was just long enough and had great stage presence and really engaged with the audience. It was a nice surprise to see some surprise instrumentalists on stage! Overall a great time and really awesome merch available

About la dispute.

La Dispute is an American post-hardcore band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, formed in 2004. The current line-up is vocalist Jordan Dreyer, drummer Brad Vander Lugt, guitarist Chad Morgan-Sterenberg and bass guitarist Adam Vass. The band released their debut EP, Vancouver, in 2006 on Friction Records and then temporarily signed to Forest Life records where they released Here, Hear. and Untitled 7" in May 2008. Their debut album Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair was released in conjunction with Here, Hear II. on No Sleep Records in November 2008. Here, Hear III. (2009), The Worth of the World (2010) and Never Come Undone (2011) then followed before releasing their second studio album, Wildlife (2011). Their third studio album, Rooms of the House, was released on March 18, 2014.

La Dispute Are Heading Out On A ‘Wildlife’ 10th Anniversary Tour This Summer

La Dispute were already among the illustrious acts slated to play the punk- and emo-leaning nostalgiapalooza that is When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas this October. Now the Grand Rapids, Michigan post-hardcore quintet are wrapping an entire tour around the festival in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their album Wildlife.

The tour begins with a hometown show in Grand Rapids in September before the band takes off to the East Coast and then across the country to the West Coast. It’s a thorough slate of nearly 40 shows, including thee two-day appearance at When We Were Young Fest.

Speaking on the tour and Wildlife , singer Jordan Dryer shared some thoughts:

“I didn’t spend much time looking ahead in the first five or so years of this band, and didn’t anticipate spending much time looking back either, even as one ten year anniversary came and another one approached. But then the whole world shut down, and in its newly suspended animation we took the longest break we ever have from playing live, writing music together, even being in the same town. All we had was time to reflect on the past—on what makes this important to us. For the first time it made us look forward, to being back together in the same room, on the same stage, to the next night on tour, to celebrating milestones with the people who got us to them: each other, our extended family of friends, and you. Cheers to you for 10+ years of ‘Wildlife’, and for everything else.”

Post-hardcore band La Dispute  have announced their delayed 10th anniversary tour in celebration of 2011’s Wildlife taking place in Fall 2022. They will be joined by Sweet Pill and Pictoria Vark throughout the North American trek.

Kicking off September 15th at La Dispute’s hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan, the jaunt will make stops in New York, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and more before wrapping at Gainesville, Florida’s The Fest on October 30th.

See the schedule below. A pre-sale (code:  DAZZLE ) for select dates begins on Thursday, June 16th at 10:00 a.m. local time, with general on-sale beginning June 17th at the same time. Pick up your tickets via Ticketmaster .

La Dispute released their fourth studio album, Rooms of the House , as the follow-up to Wildlife in 2014. Their most recent full-length was 2019’s  Panorama .

PREP’s latest single ‘Getaway’ features Thai singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit – will they play it together when the English indie band perform in Bangkok this year?
