UAE Visit Visa Requirements for Pakistani Citizens

The Ministry of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates has implemented an online visa for travelers arriving in the country from more than 140 countries across the world, including Pakistan.

The eVisa for the UAE expedites the visa application process, making it quicker and easier to apply and receive your electronic tourist visa from Pakistan. This travel document can be requested and obtained online from the comfort of your home without needing to visit an embassy or consulate.

This page covers everything you need to know about the UAE eVisa for Pakistanis, including Dubai visa requirements for Pakistani travelers.

Main Features of the eVisa for the UAE for Pakistanis

The visa policy for the UAE defines which nationalities are eligible to obtain an electronic visa and what conditions must be met. Citizens from Pakistan can apply for the Emirati eVisa if their travel plans meet the following features:

  • Their trip will be for tourism and leisure
  • They will only need a single-entry eVisa
  • Their visit to the UAE will be temporary (30 days maximum)

Pakistani travelers must consider that once the eVisa is granted, they have 60 days to use the eVisa to enter the country. They must also plan their transportation to be by air only. The eVisa for the UAE is only valid at international airports .

We must remind Pakistani passport holders that the eVisa is offered for temporary visits only and cannot be used to take up any professional activity. If they are interested in relocating to the UAE for job-seeking opportunities or other long-term stays, we recommend to schedule an appointment at the Emirati Embassy in Islamabad or the Consulate in Karachi for more suitable visas.

Sub-Block TitleDo I need a Dubai visa for Pakistanis if I have the UAE eVisa?

The Dubai visit visa requirements for Pakistanis are the same as for the UAE . As Dubai is one of the Emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, it falls under the same visa policy.

This means that the UAE eVisa is valid for trips to Dubai . If you are a Pakistani citizen traveling to Dubai, you can use the UAE online visa for your trip. The visa will automatically be valid for the other Emirates too (Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah).

Documents Required for the UAE eVisa for Pakistani Citizens

We recommend reading through the  visa requirements for Pakistanis before making any travel arrangements for the UAE. Applicants from Pakistan will find information about which countries they can visit with an electronic visa and what conditions they must meet to successfully obtain one.

The main requirements for the UAE eVisa for Pakistani petitioners include the following:

  • Possess a Pakistani passport valid for 180 days minimum on their arrival date
  • Supply a digital image of the biographical page of the passport
  • Provide a passport-style color photograph of the applicant in digital format
  • Use a credit or debit card to pay the UAE eVisa processing fee
  • Register their eVisa application with an active email address

Pakistani nationals should ensure their passport is valid for at least 6 months on the date they plan to reach the UAE. If this condition is not met, we request them to submit it for renewal at their earliest possibility.

They should possess a digital copy of their personal id photo (color and at 6 months old) plus a readable digital version of their passport’s biographical page. They should ensure their debit or credit card is activated for internet payments, and they apply with an active email address.

Visitors from Pakistan should also have their travel plans ready before they begin their eVisa form. During their petition, they should have decided to which Emirate they will fly to and their arrival date.

Application Process for the UAE eVisa for Pakistanis

The UAE application requires you to provide the following information:

  • Citizenship
  • Arrival date
  • Emirate of destination
  • Email account
  • Date of birth
  • Country of birth
  • Current profession
  • Qualifications
  • Reason for travel
  • Passport information

They will proceed by filling in their passport number, issue date, expiration, and issuing country.

It is very important to carefully review all this information before submitting the eVisa petition since any typos or mistakes could lead to a denial of their application. For their benefit, Pakistanis can also fill in the eVisa questionnaire in Arabic besides English.

Pakistani groups traveling to the UAE for a family trip can include any dependent in their eVisa application.  This includes spouses, children, or old age relatives. They will be required to share additional documentation such as marriage or birth certificates.

The eVisa petition is concluded with the payment of the processing fee . The payment is issued by a secure digital platform where most international bank cards are accepted. Pakistani applicants must simply check their cards are activated for online payments and carry sufficient funds.

Evaluation Process of the eVisa Applications by Pakistani Citizens

The Ministry of Interior of the UAE analyzes all the eVisa forms received. They usually submit a resolution to all petitions received between 1 and 3 business days . To account for possible delays during busy tourist seasons, we recommend submitting their forms at least a week before their visit.

Pakistani passport holders who have filled in their eVisa form correctly and meet the requirements will receive an approval email where they can download the granted eVisa via an accessible link. Upon receipt, we request them to print out a copy and keep it next to the rest of their documents.

Travel to the United Arab Emirates from Pakistan with the eVisa

Once granted, Pakistani nationals have 60 days to use their eVisa to enter the UAE. If they do not meet this requirement, their eVisa will not be valid, and they will need a new one. They must also plan their departure to abide by the granted 30 days for their stay.

Visitors from Pakistan should also confirm they will fly to the same Emirate airport they selected during their application process. Once they land, they are recommended to head straight to the queues reserved for eVisa Travelers of their nationality to save time during passport controls.

They will be requested to supply their passport and printed eVisa to border officials before being allowed to enter the country and enjoy their trip.

What is UAE Visit Visa?

A UAE Visit Visa is basically an entry permit required by foreigners who wish to visit the UAE. There are two types of UAE Visit Visa – the Single-Entry Visit Visa and the Multiple-Entry Visit Visa. Both can be issued for 30 or 60 days according to your plans and schedule. While most visitors are tourists lured by the UAE’s world-class attractions, many come for a variety of other reasons. These include exploring job or business opportunities, pursuing educational studies, or seeking medical treatment at internationally-renowned hospitals. Yet more come to visit family and friends living in the UAE while others are simply transiting through the country. Whatever the reason, a UAE Visit Visa is the starting point for your Arabian adventure – contact us today

Eligibility

To apply for a UAE Visit Visa you will need a passport valid for at least 6 months. Some countries have special arrangements with the UAE allowing their citizens to travel without a visa. Instead, these citizens receive a free On Arrival visa when they enter the country. However, citizens of some other countries, such as South Africa , Turkey , Albania , Algeria , Morocco , Egypt , Jordan , India , Pakistan and Sri Lanka must apply for a prepaid visit visa. You will also need to show a return flight ticket when applying and may be asked for some additional documentation. But no need to worry – it’s very easy to apply for a UAE Visit Visa compared to most other countries.

Women and Children

The UAE culture is very protective of women and children and this extends to all its visitors. It is proud of its reputation as one of the safest countries in the world in which to live and to travel. The UAE Visit Visa Rules reflect this by imposing age restrictions to ensure the wellbeing of females and youngsters alike. If you are a female and want to travel to the UAE alone, you must be 18 years of age or above. If you are under 18, you should be accompanied by your parents or guardian. And as a bonus, from July 15 to September 15 each year, your visa will come compliments of the UAE

Parents in UAE: What if one or both of your parents already have a valid UAE work permit? In that case it will be easier for you to get a UAE Visa too. However you may be asked to submit supporting documents for your application.

* Nigerian Applicants Please Note: Nigerian citizens, whether male or female, travelling alone to the UAE, should be 40 years of age or older. The same applies to a Nigerian married woman travelling with children. Certain age restrictions also apply to Nigerian passport holders applying for a 3-month Dubai Visa.

Documents Required

UAE Visit Visa Validity

If you plan to extend or renew your Visit Visa, you should first know how long it is valid for. You will also want to know whether you get a grace period when the visa expires. This is important because overstaying your visa’s validity period can incur heavy fines.

  • Validity Period: Every type of UAE Visit Visa has its own validity period which dictates how long you can stay. If you don’t have a grace period and remain in the country after expiry, you are ‘overstaying your visa’. For example, a 30-day single-entry visit visa will expire 30 days from your entry date. Similarly a 60-day multiple-entry visit visa will expire 60 days from your first entry but this visa does, of course, allow you to leave and re-enter the UAE numerous times within the 60 days
  • Grace Period: When your UAE Visit Visa expires, you only qualify for a grace period if it is an On-Arrival visa for specific nationalities. The grace period is the time you are allowed to stay in the UAE after your official expiry date. It is a ‘courtesy extension’ and, during this time, you will not be charged any overstaying penalties. If, however, you have a Prepaid Visit Visa, there is no grace period and the expiry date strictly applies.

Extending UAE Visit Visa

If you entered the UAE with a prepaid visa, you can extend it twice. The first extension will be for 30 days and the second will get you another 30 days. Indeed, there are a number of different ways to extend your stay in the UAE, These include crossing the border to a neighboring country or doing the airport to airport visa change. Every year many thousands of visitors to the UAE decide they want to stay longer than originally planned. At Arabiers we know all the options – and take delight in helping you extend your UAE experience.

But some Indians residing outside their native country qualify for a 14-day On Arrival Visa by applying in GDRFA (Previously given this speical on arrival in airport, from 2024 May pre apply on arrival visa online). A special regulation introduced in 2017 bestows the privilege on Indian nationals with the following visas and permits:

  • USA Green Card
  • EU Residence Permit valid for at least 6 months
  • UK residence Permit valid for at least 6 months

This particular on-arrival visa, however, is not free – but you will only have to pay 63 USD to get it. And you can extend this visa for another 14 days by paying AED 250 to UAE Immigration.

Six Months UAE Visa

The UAE government, in July 2019, introduced a 6-month UAE visit visa. The visa is available to entrepreneurs, investors, brilliant professionals and students of exceptional distinction. This visa is issued to people who qualify for it and they want to obtain a long-term residence permit to the UAE in some time. If you don’t fall into any of the categories mentioned, you cannot apply for the 6 months UAE visit visa so you can alternatively opt for the regular six months visa.

UAE Immigration Contacts

If you wish to independently contact the relevant immigration authorities like ICP , for any reason, their numbers are below. They will help you with any questions about UAE visa types, the Visa fee and any other general inquiries. They will also assist you in making a personal UAE visit visa validity check if that is what is concerning you.

Which emirate you receive your Visa from does not matter at all. Whether it is issued by Abu Dhabi , Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Fujairah or Umm Al Quwain is immaterial. You can enter the country through any of the seven emirates and your movements are not restricted in any way. It is a UAE visit visa and you can travel freely with it anywhere in the UAE.

The UAE Mission Visa is a special entry permit issued to professionals traveling to work short-term with a UAE-based company. When you are employed under this visa, the UAE authority considers you to be a ‘probational employee’. The mission visa can only be issued by certain registered UAE companies, so keep in touch with your potential employer. Also note that the Mission Visa is a single-entry visa valid for 90 days. So, if you leave the country before the 90 days are up, your visa gets cancelled automatically. If you have a mission visa, you cannot transfer to a visit visa or apply for a new permit. You must first cancel the mission visa by exiting the country – and only then can you apply anew.

What do you do if you have received a UAE Visit Visa but are now not going to use it? To avoid issues with the immigration authorities, you should cancel it in 30 days. You will be required to pay up to AED 300 to cancel an unused visa. Alternatively you can choose to extend the visa for two months at a cost of AED 200. You should cancel an unused fee because you cannot apply for a new one when the old one has still not been used.

Here is a quick guide on what is allowed and what is prohibited with a UAE visa:

  • Engage in tourism activities, visit family and friends in any emirate and attend meetings and conferences.
  • Attend job interviews and prepare to apply for a Residence Visa when you join the UAE workforce.
  • Plan to start a new business in the UAE or buy a property. You can do the initial business and property gap research while on a visit visa.
  • Work or volunteer to work for a UAE company, whether paid or unpaid.
  • Open a bank account, or start a business, (you need a Residence Visa and Emirates ID to do that).
  • Beg in the streets and you are liable to be fined AED 5,000. And that’s just the start – you could also be jailed for up to three months. Those operating gangs of beggars, or recruiting people to work as beggars, face even stiffer penalties. They will be fined a minimum of AED 100,000 and imprisoned for not less than 6 months.
  • Illegal activities such as prostitution, child trafficking, smuggling and other criminal acts.

If you need to make your UAE Visit Visa application quickly, do so during the working week. In the UAE, immigration offices work four and a half days from Monday to Friday noon. You are therefore advised to apply during that timeframe so that we can process it with the authorities faster. You should first apply for the visit visa and, when approved, you can then book your flight to the UAE.

You are not allowed to work in the UAE without a valid UAE work visa that has been issued by the MOHRE. It is therefore illegal to work with a visit visa in the UAE.

You must have a hard copy of your UAE visa where entering the UAE, and show it to the screening counters in Airports or borders in the UAE. You should therefore print a copy of your UAE visa before leaving your country so that you can show it to the immigration officers.

Did UAE Put a New Ban on Visas for Pakistani Passport Holders?

uae visit visa open for pakistani today

Rumors have been circulating on social media suggesting that Dubai has stopped issuing visas to single Pakistani men under the age of 42. These claims have sparked concern and confusion among potential travelers and the Pakistani community.

A Twitter user recently tweeted, “Dubai stops issuing visas to single Pakistani men under the age of 42 – no formal announcement but have verified this from several reliable sources in the local travel industry.” The tweet quickly went viral, fueling speculation about the alleged visa restrictions.

Dubai stops issuing visas to single Pakistani men under the age of 42 – no formal announcement but have verified this from several reliable sources in the local travel industry — omar r quraishi (@omar_quraishi) May 21, 2024

However, upon thorough investigation, it has been revealed that the viral tweet is false. Dubai has made no such announcement, nor has it stopped issuing visas to Pakistani nationals in recent times. There is no ban on visit or work visas for single Pakistani men under the age of 42 traveling to Dubai.

uae visit visa open for pakistani today

This is not the first instance of such misinformation spreading online. Last year, similar rumors claimed that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had stopped issuing visit visas to residents of several Pakistani cities. These reports were even affirmed by some local travel agents without proper verification or any official statement from the authorities.

In response to these earlier rumors, the Pakistan Foreign Office denied any specific ban by the UAE on issuing visas to Pakistanis from certain cities. The Consulate General of the UAE in Karachi also labeled these rumors as “fake news,” emphasizing that no such restrictions had been implemented.

About visa ban news is correct because my visit visa as well as employment visa is rejected two times I applied recently visit visa which is rejected and even my employer in uae applied two times my employment visa which is also rejected

what’s ur qualification ?

Is it just for single men or also applies to couples?

Your long story is based on one or more false tweets? Wasting yours and others time?

Not sure about the tweet but UAE is not issuing visas to almost 90% Pakistani candidates. The reasons they gave to the government official is based on the unethical and illiterate practices of our people going to UAE. Groups of Beggars going there Pakistanis arranged protest in Dubai on 9th May – They don’t allow anyone to protest there Social media posts by Pakistanis in UAE about their matters and conspiracy Theories there were 7-8 other reasons too. Check Umar Cheema’s detailed vlog on this.

You bloody bitch I am working in travel agency and more than 20 applications for Pakistanis have been rejected just in 2 days. And after that we stopped applying more.

What are chances when this scenario will be normalized and when we applied for visa of UAE

Brither The news about visit visa and employment visa is not fake Tataly correct visa is not issuing to Pakistani Nationality i also applied visit visa for dubai but got rejected and lost my visa processing fees also visas are not issuing VISIT AND EMPLOYMENT. So how can you say this is a false news or rumour….?

The fact of the matter is, that uae is restricting visas for certain cities in Pakistan. I had traveled to Dubai twice in 2022 and these were family. However later in the same year my we wanted to make another trip. My travel agent told me that I will no.longer get a visa as my city of birth is restricted. I ignored and him applied and was rejected. I applied one more time through emirates and I was rejected again, however, this time I received an email from VFS global which clearly stated that my city of birth is being restricted by uae and my case can not be processed. I I have been rejected 4 times since 2022 and I have two separate emails from vfs global that state these facts. Btw, I am quite financially stable and I have been traveling to countries with family since. So the new is true I am a victim along with many others of this unjust restriction. We pay a visa processing few and so we should be judged individually and not collectively.

Your city ? Even I’m planning to apply?

Visa Ban news is totally correct. Dubai always rejected the visa applications of people less than 40 years old. Moreover, Sharjah authorities also rejecting application without mentioning any reason. Yesterday, Sharjah authorities also rejected my VISA application even I am a Dubai Health Authority license holder. Everyone can confirm this news from Travel agents. This tweet is 100% correct.

Is there separate visa for Dubai and Sharjah?

Yes, every state of UAE can issue visa.

first kindly do confirm by yourself then share the news. Dubai is not issuing single visa , in other terms, Single Visa is rejecting from Dubai. in another terms , this is the ban for single men visa in dubai. The news is correct

Yes, it’s true. They stopped issuing visas. And they limit the age group till 45 and below 45 is required strong connections or pepper work to get visa.

Totally true. My brother visa which is partner visa has been rejected twice and today he left UAE. We invested almost AED 150k, not sure how to get it back. Looks like we lost the investment

Information is correct. You guys are so arrogant to accept the facts or dont bother to make a research? I’m in this industry and have always kept myself up to date. However visa issue presists for both men and women.

Dear brother ,please take care while investing money in UAE,if your money is legal don’t waste ,UAE investment is for illegal money ,We are from Pakistan ,no more accepted from Middle East countries, everyone knows why is that ,Please love your country and work hard here ,one day our country will be top in order ,Thanks

U don’t know you just share a news without knowing. It’s true visa is ban for Pakistan if not banned you are not allowed to exit the airport and they will surely send you back with visit visa

This news is true. I have lost 3 jobs just because I am Pakistani and companies couldn’t give Visa to Pakistani.

This platform is writing baseless articles without investigation, my brother visa is rejected and upon visiting immigration he got a very clear reply,”Currently no visas for Pakistanis” No argument, no question. The reply was very clear and asked to check with Pak embassy about reasons.

Yes, Dubai have stopped issuing visit Visas to single Pakistan nationals under age of 40. I was planning to visit Dubai then contacted several Agents. They all told me UAE is not issuing visas to Pakistan Nationals.

Anyone know when this scenario will b normalized and we get visa of uae ?

There is no such ban on Pakistani visas. This is a false information. You just need fulfill their requirements for visas. If documentation not complete visa will definitely reject. Please complete your documents before apply.

Did you got yours? And how do you know?

Its not false, Visas are not being issued to Singles Pakistanis via Dubai, Only families can apply from Dubai, and singles from Sharjah or Abu dhabi and they are rejecting single applicant visas as well. Obviously they never will say this publically or officially.

We have an important meeting with Zara on 10th June, my visa got rejected. i checked this with my colleagues working at different organizations. Almost 6 persons visa have been rejected and i can confirm this!

Good morning, I confirm that the rumor is true! My French girlfriend and I had planned a trip to Dubai in May 2024. My visa application was rejected twice without having a reason for the rejection!! So we lost our entire trip…

Hello everyone, its true that indiviual visas are rejecting by uae for pakistanies,But what about them whom got their visas.I have an appointment for finlad residance permit for studies i am applying for visa soon inshAllah hope for best.we have appointment letters for vfs. Some students got their visas but some of them rejected having appointment letter. So,its true that they are issuing less visas but whats about those people who get their visas?

UAE: How to apply for pre-approval for visa on arrival for Indian citizens

Living in uae.

Some Indians who have a residency in the US, EU or UK are eligible for this service

DUBAI AIRPORT RAIN

Dubai: Are you an Indian planning to visit the UAE? If you have a permanent resident card (green card) issued by the US or a residence visa in the United Kingdom or European Union countries, you can get an entry visa for a period of 14 days when you come to the UAE.

Dubai’s immigration authority, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai (GDRFAD) provides a service through which you can apply for a pre-approval of this visa and streamline your immigration process once you land in the UAE.

Get exclusive content with Gulf News WhatsApp channel

Here’s how you can use the service.

How to apply for pre-approval of visa on arrival

Option 1: do it yourself.

If you have a UAE Pass account  or an online account with the GDRFAD website, you can apply for this pre-approval yourself, by following these steps.

1. Visit the GDRFAD website – gdrfad.gov.ae, and log in using your UAE Pass or the online account details. 2. Click on the tab for ‘all services’ and then select ‘Port services'. 3. Select the option ‘Issuing visa via land, seaport or airport’ and then click on ‘Visa on arrival for citizens of the Republic of India residing in (America, Britain, European Union countries)’. 4. Fill in the form with your personal details and details of your trip, like where you are going to stay. 5. Next, select the type of visa you hold – EU residency, US green card etc. 6. Attach the required documents to support your application, including your passport and visa copies. 7. Pay the application fees and submit the request.

As per the GDRFAD website, the pre-approval process can take up to 48 hours, and when the visa is approved, you will receive an online copy on your registered email address.

Option 2: Apply for it through an agency

If you do not have a UAE Pass or an online GDRFAD account, you can also request a travel and tourism agency registered in the UAE to apply for the visa on your behalf.

“Even if people are staying in the US or UK, they may not want to apply for it themselves. In such cases, agencies can help them with the application process,” Husham Kattingeri, an outbound travel supervisor at Regal Tours Worldwide, told Gulf News.

uae visit visa open for pakistani today

In such cases, you would need to provide the documents to the travel agent and pay for the visa, as well as service fees that the agency would charge.

Option 3: Pre-approval for Emirates passengers

If you are flying with Emirates airlines, you can use their pre-approved visa-on-arrival facility, which was launched earlier this year. For a step-by-step guide on how to apply for the service, read our detailed guide here .

Documents required

1. A valid passport or travel document to enter the country, 2. Permanent residence card (green card) issued by the US or a residence visa issued by UK or European Union countries. 3. Personal photo (white background)

You may need to pay additional service charges if you are applying through an agency.

To apply for the pre-approval through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), read our step-by-step guide here .

Travellers on Dubai visit visas are urged to carry Dh3,000 cash, a valid return ticket, and proof of accommodation before going on a flight to the emirate, tourism agencies told Khaleej Times.

Experts said authorities are ensuring strict entry guidelines are followed. Some passengers who failed to meet the requirements said they were stopped at Indian airports and barred from boarding their flights. Other reported being stranded at airports in Dubai.

Stay up to date with the latest news. Follow KT on WhatsApp Channels.

“People travelling to Dubai must have a valid visa with a passport having validity of at least six months. One must carry a confirmed return ticket. These are checks that are being done earlier,” said Firoz Maliyakkal, founder and CEO of Tahira Tours and Travels.

“However, now, checks are being done to ensure that you are carrying enough money as proof of funds to sustain your stay in Dubai. The amount is any currency equivalent to Dh3,000 in cash or credit card. One has to provide a valid address proof of accommodation in the UAE; it can be either a relative's or friend’s home or a hotel booking,” added Firoz.

Travel agents said this rule has been in place for a long time but now, authorities have tightened monitoring for the benefit of travellers.

“Airport checks are being conducted to safeguard travellers arriving in Dubai. There have been many cases of overstaying. This step by the authorities will positively impact the tourism sector of the emirate,” said Libin Varghese from Rooh Travel and Tourism.

“Stringent checks provide transparency and prevent any discrepancies for people travelling to the UAE," he added.

'Stuck at airport'

On May 15, Abin S arrived in Dubai on a Spice Jet flight from Cochin International Airport in the south Indian state of Kerala. Upon his arrival, he was asked to provide the requirements to enter Dubai.

“Upon my arrival at 2.30am, I was asked to show an amount equivalent to Dh3,000, which I had with me. I also had a return ticket. But the crucial part was proof of my accommodation in Dubai,” said Abin.

“I mentioned that I would be staying with my cousin, and the officers requested his Emirates ID and proof of accommodation. However, my cousin is renting a room in Dubai and doesn't have accommodation under his name,” added Abin.

This was not Abin's first trip to Dubai, he said, and he had not encountered such a situation before.

“I wasn't informed about this by the travel agent in India, nor did my cousin tell me anything. I had to stay in the airport's waiting hall for four days, and finally, on May 19, I returned to my hometown on the same airline,” Abin said.

Khaleej Times has reached out to immigration authorities for comment, and a response is awaited.

Denied boarding

When Indian tourist Abhishek arrived at Cochin International Airport to board his flight to Dubai on May 20, he was not allowed to enter the airport. He was hoping to visit his brother-in-law Bijesh in Dubai.

“The airport staff said that the UAE will not allow anyone to enter the country without showing a valid hotel stay for the duration of their visit visa in the country or Dh5000 in cash as dirhams,” said Bijesh. “He had Rs50,000 but they said he had to present the cash in dirhams.”

Bijesh said he and his friends scrambled to make alternative arrangements. “Abhishek was supposed to stay with his uncle in Dubai,” he said.

“We immediately sent all the details of the uncle, including his Emirates ID and proof of stay, but the authorities at Cochin airport were adamant that they would not let him board the plane until he presented the necessary documents,” said Bijesh.

Unable to board his scheduled Spice Jet flight, Abhishek lost the money he had spent on it. “We went to the Spice Jet office in Dubai and asked them for a refund,” said Bijesh. “However, they said there was nothing they could do as the rules were being enforced very strictly and it was the duty of the passenger to check it,” added Bijesh.

Now, Abhishek is waiting to arrange funds and book new tickets to be able to fly to Dubai.
