BEACHES OF NORMANDY TOUR
Our signature tour gives you an opportunity to thoroughly explore the beaches and the sites of Normandy connected to the D-Day landings. This tour is designed for people who want to enjoy military history and culture alike on their vacation in Normandy.
Our first-class historical tours take you on a journey through iconic World War II sites around Europe, as well as the most emblematic moments of American heroism of the time. From the Normandy beaches to Bastogne and the Bavarian Alps we guide you through the significant events and experiences of the war that changed the world. Band of Brothers Tour is a registered brand and protected trademark in the European Union by Beaches of Normandy Tours.
The first days of the tour dive into all five landing beaches, with a special focus on the American landing sectors. We then head east through the Ardennes to Belgium, where passengers can crouch in the foxholes of Bois Jacques and learn about the vehicles that defined the Allied war effort during the Battle of the Bulge and the Siege of Bastogne. Our journey ends in Germany, where we learn about the context of the Nazi regime, a sobering visit to the very first concentration camp of Dachau and we top off the tour with a day trip to the Bavarian Alps, where we visit the famous Eagle's Nest on top of the Kehlstein mountain.

Jonas Brothers add more than 50 dates to The Tour: 'We want MORE!'
The Jonas Brothers – and their fans – want more. More tour, that is.
The brother trio – Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas – announced a new batch of dates Thursday for their upcoming The Tour, which kicks off in New York with two sold-out nights at Yankee Stadium Aug. 12 and 13, supporting their sixth release, "The Album." The band is adding more than 50 new shows to the North American leg of the tour and across Europe, Australia and New Zealand, totaling more than 90 shows across 20 countries in their largest tour to date.
"You heard us… we want MORE! We added additional dates for THE TOUR in Australia, Europe and the US," the Jonas Brothers shared on Instagram alongside a cheeky video of the three of them excited about wanting "more."
Another sibling group, pop-soul act Lawrence led by Clyde and Gracie Lawrence, will open all the North American shows.
Ahead of the tour, the Jonas Brothers unpeeled the layers behind their albums at midtown Manhattan's Marquis Theater for their five-night concert residency on Broadway .

Fans might also get an emotional moment between the brothers on tour with their ballad "Little Bird," which talks about the importance of a father/daughter relationship and is among their new favorites to perform live.
"It's one of those tunes where you're fighting back tears," Joe Jonas told USA TODAY in a May interview . "It's an emotional tune and we all kind of go, 'OK, here we go' when we see it on the setlist."
"I think it's like a thing where (before) one of us was out on a boat or something and the other was home with kids. There was a clear difference in what our realities are on an everyday basis," Nick Jonas said in the same interview. Now, "there's a better understanding and awareness of where we're all at, and that's totally reflected in the music."

Brothers Osborne Plot Extensive North American Summer Tour
By Jon Freeman
Jon Freeman
Brothers Osborne have confirmed a lengthy U.S. tour set to launch in mid-summer. The We’re Not for Everyone Tour, named for a track on their arena-ready third studio album Skeletons , will take the sibling duo to nearly 50 locations beginning in July.
The trek gets underway July 29th in Philadelphia, with stops including Nashville, Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Many of the venues are open-air locations, such as Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater and the Santa Barbara Bowl in California.
TJ and John Osborne will lead their band through a tour that wraps up November 20th in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. “After a Few” singer Travis Denning and 2020 ACM New Female Artist of the Year winner Tenille Townes will alternate opening duties throughout the tour.
In February, singer TJ Osborne publicly came out as gay, making him the only out man signed to a Nashville major label. “It’s been a really wild experience to have come out to very few people — although a lot of my friends and family knew already — and then to come out publicly in one big fell swoop,” he told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her talk show. “In some ways, it’s nice, but it’s made for a very emotional day.”

Jonas Brothers Postpone Mexico Tour Dates After Nick Jonas Gets the Flu: 'I'm Not Able to Sing at the Moment'
The band has rescheduled their Mexico tour dates for August
Kevin Mazur/Getty
The Jonas Brothers are rescheduling tour dates so Nick Jonas can take care of himself.
Nick, 31, could hardly speak in a video posted jointly to The Jonas Brothers Instagram and his individual Instagram account on Friday, May 3, in which he explained his situation.
"I have some not-so-fun news to share," he said in the video, wearing a green sweatshirt. "A couple days ago I started feeling kind of rough, lost my voice when I had woken up and grinded that night out to be able to play the show in Cancun."
Nick said his condition has gotten "progressively worse" over the last few days and he's been in bed with a fever, body aches and a sore throat. He was diagnosed with Influenza A by a doctor.
"Got to the decision this morning that it's not gotten any better and... I'm not going to be able to get out on stage tonight and play these shows down in Mexico City and Monterrey," the "Jealous" singer said.
"I just need to recover and beat this thing. I'm so sorry, I hate disappointing you guys. You do so much to support us and a lot of you have traveled out to be at that show and — I just wanted to say I'm just heartbroken over this."
Darren Gerrish/WireImage
Nick ended the video saying that the Jonas Brothers would reschedule the Mexico dates for as soon as possible and "make this right." He signed off the video sending love to his fans and saying he hoped he'd be "back and healthy ASAP."
The recent leg Jonas Brothers tour that Nick was on with his older brothers Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas had been scheduled to end in Monterrey on Tuesday, May 7 before starting up again on Sept. 9 in Belfast, Ireland.

Per the caption of Nick's video post, new Mexico dates have already been rescheduled in both Mexico City and Monterrey for Aug. 21 and 22 in the capital city and Aug. 24 and 25 in Monterrey.
"I'm not able to sing at the moment," Nick wrote in the caption of the video. "We always want to be able to give you guys the best show and I’m just not able to do that for these shows in Mexico at this time."

The Lemon Twigs: Band of brothers to play Gainesville on their world tour
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The Lemon Twigs, a New York band formed by brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario, are gearing up to play in Gainesville on their world tour.
Despite the duo performing as a group for nearly a decade, this will be their first time in Gainesville, and the first time they’re playing a stretch of shows in the Sunshine State.
The band has garnered the attention of several big names in the industry, including Elton John, Iggy Pop, Flea, and Questlove, the latter who got them on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for their first television appearance back in 2016.
The brothers have gone to work with Todd Rundgren, Jody Stephens of Big Star, and served as the opening act for Arctic Monkeys during their 2018 tour.
In January, The Lemon Twigs returned to Fallon to play “My Golden Years,” the first single from their latest album A Dream is All We Know. When TV20 asked them to describe the new album in 3 words, they both agreed on “Fun sun vibrations.”
Sean Ono Lennon, son of John Lennon, makes an appearance on the album, thanks to the brothers’ work on a project for their father and fellow musician, Ronnie D’Addario.
“{Sean} kind of asked around that time if we ever wanted to come up to his studio and just record and hang out. And we did and spent about 5 days there and we recorded like 3 songs,” says Brian.
Mapping their sound, The Lemon Twigs cite The Beatles and The Beach Boys as inspirations, with other artists like Gainesville’s own Tom Petty being thrown in the mix.
Michael adds, “I remember we watched {Runnin’ Down A Dream}. This really great documentary. That long documentary. I think more than Tom Petty himself being a huge influence on us, we have a lot of the same influences. We’re huge Byrds fans, and Bob Dylan fans, I love his sound though, and I guess we kind of meld stuff in the same way.”
The Lemon Twigs started their 2024 tour with two sold out shows in New York, and are making Florida stops in Sanford, Gainesville, and Tampa.
They play Heartwood Soundstage on Saturday, May 11th, with opening act Crystal Egg.

Bryan Bros, South Carolina natives tell unconventional story of Myrtle Beach Classic
Change Text Size
At this week's inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic, George Bryan IV is making his second PGA TOUR start. Bryan IV and his brother Wesley Bryan, also competing this week, constitute the “Bryan Bros Golf” YouTube channel and are ambassadors of the Myrtle Beach golf community.
“It's just cool to be able to use our platform to be able to tell the story of the Myrtle Beach Classic,” said Bryan IV ahead of the event.
But what exactly is the story of the Myrtle Beach Classic?
For starters, it's an unconventional one.
Though Bryan IV led “The Q” up to the final hole, an errant approach shot in the water led to a bogey, and Atkins birdied to send it to a playoff, then made another birdie on the first playoff hole to seal the deal.
Referring to the qualifier, Bryan IV said, “It's never been a thing where YouTube has had an impact into a PGA TOUR event directly, and this is the first time it's ever happened … It was really freaking cool.”
It’s a story of second chances.
After “The Q,” Bryan IV was devastated – “I couldn't even go to the golf course and practice for a couple days because all I could think about was that 40-yard pitch shot out of the rough, downhill lie, and like, should I have laid up?” – but several weeks later, landed a spot in the event via a sponsor exemption.
In a video posted to the Bryan Bros YouTube channel, Bryan IV answers a phone call from Tournament Director Darren Nelson offering him the exemption. “Holy cow ... This is honestly a dream come true,” said Bryan IV. “Playing in a PGA TOUR event in my home state. ... let me catch my breath a little bit.”
No one knows about second chances better than Matt Atkins. After finding himself at a crossroads in November balancing family life with golf, he decided to enter The RSM Classic's Monday qualifier as a last resort, and he survived an eight-man playoff to earn one of four spots. Overcome with emotion, he said afterward: "I'll quit if I have to quit, because I'm not gonna sacrifice my family for golf, but I don't want to quit."
He then birdied the final three holes of The RSM Classic's second round to make the cut.
"I was down to no money," reflected Atkins. "A lot of prayers for clarity and discernment, and a lot of things got answered that week." The subsequent paycheck helped him continue his professional career, a path that led him to The Dunes Golf and Beach Club this week.
Matt Atkins emotionally qualifies for The RSM Classic
“When you're out here and you're playing and everything ... there's a lot of surface-level conversations,” continued Atkins. “There's maybe not as much depth in the conversations as there needs to be, so people don't really know what everyone is going through out here.
"It was cool to see some of the other players and caddies just kind of congratulate me on that week."
The place that sparked so many golf journeys gets its own event.
It's fitting that the PGA TOUR is anchoring in the "Golf Capital of the World" this week.
Just ask Trace Crowe, the 27-year-old Auburn University grad who was one of five players to earn their TOUR card at the 2023 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry. Crowe grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and bought his first set of clubs in Myrtle Beach at age 10.
Or ask Atkins. “I didn't grow up in South Carolina, but South Carolina is my home now," he said. "We vacationed here in Myrtle Beach, and this is where I would tell people, I just played golf on vacation.”
George Bryan IV and Wesley Bryan have been playing golf in Myrtle Beach since age 6. They played the George Holliday Memorial Junior Tournament here every Thanksgiving.
“I was a 12-year-old that won the (George Holliday) overall title against like 18-year-olds and 19-year-olds,” said George. “It's my first-ever win. It's a cool thing because that was 24 years ago. I mean, to come full circle, to play in a PGA TOUR event in my home state ... which I just now thought about. It's really special.”
What's in George Bryan IV's bag plus stock yardages
A story of philia love.
The philia love – love between brothers or close friends – Atkins and each of the Bryan brothers have for each other is apparent.
George Bryan IV and Wesley Bryan detailed how special it was to play their first PGA TOUR event together, which was George’s PGA TOUR debut, at the 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
Wesley and George Bryan on their expectations for Butterfield Bermuda
“I felt bad about how badly I was beating him in Bermuda at first,” joked George.
“They started chanting ‘Let’s catch Wes,'” Wesley said, and added that George was the only player he wants to beat this week: “I'm only checking George's score. Nobody else matters in the field.”
Atkins is an occasional friend of the Bryan Bros YouTube channel – although his friendship with the two got off to a rocky start. Atkins played with Wesley in a college event that Wesley has no recollection of. (“He was probably terrible," Wesley quipped.)
The two later played together in an eGolf Professional Tour event, and Wesley approached Atkins on the range at the Country Club of South Carolina the following week.
“Knowing him now, it's more funny because I know his personality,” said Atkins, “but he came up, and he was like, ‘Dude, I almost died yesterday.’ I was like, what? I played a practice round with him, but he came up to me like we were tight .... So that's kind of where our friendship kicked off.”
After getting married in 2017, Atkins moved to North Augusta, South Carolina, where Wesley lived, and the two frequently played golf together. “I didn’t get invited,” interjected George. The truth, Atkins clarified, was that George would film 1-on-1 matches for his YouTube channel, but not stay for group rounds.
“It was frustrating because I feel like I couldn't compete with you guys because y'all were pretty solid,” said George.
But as their friendship grew, so did Atkins’ encouragement towards George.
“The whole thing about Matt and a lot of the guys that we played with,” said George, “they've told me that even though my game was garbage in my eyes, ‘Dude, you're good enough to be on the PGA TOUR.’ Like what are you talking about? I just shot 74 … But he kept saying, ‘George, you're good enough to be on the PGA TOUR.' … They're part of the reason why I played as well as I did last year, got into (the Butterfield Bermuda Championship) and made the cut in the PGA TOUR event as a YouTuber guy.
“They helped instill confidence in me when I had zero confidence."
The favor was mutual, as George uplifted Atkins through his struggles in golf in 2023, saying: “Matt's a grinder. Like he believes in himself when he maybe on paper shouldn't. Getting through that Monday, making the cut and then going to this year, getting through some Mondays and playing like he has, it just shows you, you believe in yourself, how powerful the mind is and staying positive.”
Stephanie Royer is on staff at the PGA TOUR. She played college golf and is currently pursuing an MBA. A world traveler, she hopes to always keep her country count above her age and to hit every destination in the "National Treasure" movies.

The 9-day economic package of our Band of Brothers Tour is an adventure designed for your bucket list and your pocketbook. Currently, it is the cheapest tour of its kind on the market. On top of that, since it is shorter than the all-inclusive tour, it is even easier to plan your holiday schedule. This tour is an unforgettable journey hitting all the highlights of the American WWII war effort in the footsteps of the famous 101st “Screaming Eagles” Airborne Division. Feel the sands of the landing beaches between your toes in Normandy, stand at the very foxholes where heroes fought for your freedom during the Battle of the Bulge and breathe the Alpine air at Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest. From France to Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany, this tour covers all the sites to make an armchair historian’s dream a reality.
Detailed Highlights and Itinerary
Passengers are greeted at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and transferred by coach to Normandy. In the evening there is an introduction to the tour and a chance for the Passengers to introduce themselves. After the airport pick-up and transfer to Normandy we spend the next few days exploring the iconic shores of the Landing Beaches. Two days of this leg will focus on the American landing beaches Utah and Omaha, where we will pay our respects to the heroism that contributed to the battle that changed history. We also visit Gold Beach, where our fellow Allied troops fought to secure a foothold in Europe.

Gagarin cup (khl) finals: atlant moscow oblast vs. salavat yulaev ufa.
Much like the Elitserien Finals, we have a bit of an offense vs. defense match-up in this league Final. While Ufa let their star top line of Alexander Radulov, Patrick Thoresen and Igor Grigorenko loose on the KHL's Western Conference, Mytischi played a more conservative style, relying on veterans such as former NHLers Jan Bulis, Oleg Petrov, and Jaroslav Obsut. Just reaching the Finals is a testament to Atlant's disciplined style of play, as they had to knock off much more high profile teams from Yaroslavl and St. Petersburg to do so. But while they did finish 8th in the league in points, they haven't seen the likes of Ufa, who finished 2nd.
This series will be a challenge for the underdog, because unlike some of the other KHL teams, Ufa's top players are generally younger and in their prime. Only Proshkin amongst regular blueliners is over 30, with the work being shared by Kirill Koltsov (28), Andrei Kuteikin (26), Miroslav Blatak (28), Maxim Kondratiev (28) and Dmitri Kalinin (30). Oleg Tverdovsky hasn't played a lot in the playoffs to date. Up front, while led by a fairly young top line (24-27), Ufa does have a lot of veterans in support roles: Vyacheslav Kozlov , Viktor Kozlov , Vladimir Antipov, Sergei Zinovyev and Petr Schastlivy are all over 30. In fact, the names of all their forwards are familiar to international and NHL fans: Robert Nilsson , Alexander Svitov, Oleg Saprykin and Jakub Klepis round out the group, all former NHL players.
For Atlant, their veteran roster, with only one of their top six D under the age of 30 (and no top forwards under 30, either), this might be their one shot at a championship. The team has never won either a Russian Superleague title or the Gagarin Cup, and for players like former NHLer Oleg Petrov, this is probably the last shot at the KHL's top prize. The team got three extra days rest by winning their Conference Final in six games, and they probably needed to use it. Atlant does have younger regulars on their roster, but they generally only play a few shifts per game, if that.
The low event style of game for Atlant probably suits them well, but I don't know how they can manage to keep up against Ufa's speed, skill, and depth. There is no advantage to be seen in goal, with Erik Ersberg and Konstantin Barulin posting almost identical numbers, and even in terms of recent playoff experience Ufa has them beat. Luckily for Atlant, Ufa isn't that far away from the Moscow region, so travel shouldn't play a major role.
I'm predicting that Ufa, winners of the last Superleague title back in 2008, will become the second team to win the Gagarin Cup, and will prevail in five games. They have a seriously well built team that would honestly compete in the NHL. They represent the potential of the league, while Atlant represents closer to the reality, as a team full of players who played themselves out of the NHL.
- Atlant @ Ufa, Friday Apr 8 (3:00 PM CET/10:00 PM EST)
- Atlant @ Ufa, Sunday Apr 10 (1:00 PM CET/8:00 AM EST)
- Ufa @ Atlant, Tuesday Apr 12 (5:30 PM CET/12:30 PM EST)
- Ufa @ Atlant, Thursday Apr 14 (5:30 PM CET/12:30 PM EST)
Games 5-7 are as yet unscheduled, but every second day is the KHL standard, so expect Game 5 to be on Saturday, like an early start.

Warner Bros. Discovery will launch its streaming service Max in France on June 11 with distribution deals with Canal+ and Prime Video , ahead of the start of the Olympic Games on July 26.
The launch in France will follow Max’s rollout in 22 countries across the Nordics, Iberia, Central and Eastern Europe on May 21. Under the agreements, the standalone service will be available on all platforms, including on set-top boxes for Prime Video and Canal+ subscribers.

Under its deal with Prime Video, Max will have two different offers: Max Basic priced at €5.99 per month, and Max Standard, without advertising, priced at 9.99€ per month. The Sports-Add option, meanwhile, will be available for an extra €5. It will showcase major international and European sports, including tennis tournaments such as the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, The Championships, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open; cycling with the Giro d’Italia, La Vuelta a España and the Tour de France; in addition to the Tour de France Femmes, 24 Hours of Le Mans and every major winter sports World Championship and World Cup events.
Warner Bros. While the Warner Pass will dissolve, its subscribers will now be able to access Max at no extra cost.
Besides the Olympics, Max’s European launches will also coincide with the premiere of Season 2 of HBO’s “House of the Dragon” on June 17.

Savvino-storozhevsky monastery and museum.
Zvenigorod's most famous sight is the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was founded in 1398 by the monk Savva from the Troitse-Sergieva Lavra, at the invitation and with the support of Prince Yury Dmitrievich of Zvenigorod. Savva was later canonised as St Sabbas (Savva) of Storozhev. The monastery late flourished under the reign of Tsar Alexis, who chose the monastery as his family church and often went on pilgrimage there and made lots of donations to it. Most of the monastery’s buildings date from this time. The monastery is heavily fortified with thick walls and six towers, the most impressive of which is the Krasny Tower which also serves as the eastern entrance. The monastery was closed in 1918 and only reopened in 1995. In 1998 Patriarch Alexius II took part in a service to return the relics of St Sabbas to the monastery. Today the monastery has the status of a stauropegic monastery, which is second in status to a lavra. In addition to being a working monastery, it also holds the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum.
Belfry and Neighbouring Churches
Located near the main entrance is the monastery's belfry which is perhaps the calling card of the monastery due to its uniqueness. It was built in the 1650s and the St Sergius of Radonezh’s Church was opened on the middle tier in the mid-17th century, although it was originally dedicated to the Trinity. The belfry's 35-tonne Great Bladgovestny Bell fell in 1941 and was only restored and returned in 2003. Attached to the belfry is a large refectory and the Transfiguration Church, both of which were built on the orders of Tsar Alexis in the 1650s.
To the left of the belfry is another, smaller, refectory which is attached to the Trinity Gate-Church, which was also constructed in the 1650s on the orders of Tsar Alexis who made it his own family church. The church is elaborately decorated with colourful trims and underneath the archway is a beautiful 19th century fresco.
Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral
The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is the oldest building in the monastery and among the oldest buildings in the Moscow Region. It was built between 1404 and 1405 during the lifetime of St Sabbas and using the funds of Prince Yury of Zvenigorod. The white-stone cathedral is a standard four-pillar design with a single golden dome. After the death of St Sabbas he was interred in the cathedral and a new altar dedicated to him was added.
Under the reign of Tsar Alexis the cathedral was decorated with frescoes by Stepan Ryazanets, some of which remain today. Tsar Alexis also presented the cathedral with a five-tier iconostasis, the top row of icons have been preserved.
Tsaritsa's Chambers
The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is located between the Tsaritsa's Chambers of the left and the Palace of Tsar Alexis on the right. The Tsaritsa's Chambers were built in the mid-17th century for the wife of Tsar Alexey - Tsaritsa Maria Ilinichna Miloskavskaya. The design of the building is influenced by the ancient Russian architectural style. Is prettier than the Tsar's chambers opposite, being red in colour with elaborately decorated window frames and entrance.
At present the Tsaritsa's Chambers houses the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum. Among its displays is an accurate recreation of the interior of a noble lady's chambers including furniture, decorations and a decorated tiled oven, and an exhibition on the history of Zvenigorod and the monastery.
Palace of Tsar Alexis
The Palace of Tsar Alexis was built in the 1650s and is now one of the best surviving examples of non-religious architecture of that era. It was built especially for Tsar Alexis who often visited the monastery on religious pilgrimages. Its most striking feature is its pretty row of nine chimney spouts which resemble towers.
