In an announcement made on 27 April, the  BTS  member and award-winning producer, who also artistically goes by  Agust D , shared that he will be holding a live viewing of his upcoming Japan concert in cinemas worldwide. The concert will be happening on 3 June, 5 PM JST  at Kanagawa's  Pia Arena MM.

The live viewing will be screened in Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Malaysia, as well as in cities across Europe, the UK, North America, and South America. More information is available here .

SUGA kicked off his first-ever solo tour today (27 April) in Belmont Park, New York. The tour will continue across the US before the 'Haegeum' act returns to Asia, with stops in Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore, and Seoul.

In the Philippines, fans can watch SUGA | Agust D TOUR "D-DAY" in Japan in selected SM Cinemas. Tickets are priced at PHP 2,600 (regular) and PHP 3,000 (Director's Club).

BTS’ SUGA announces Japan concert of ‘D-DAY’ world tour to be live-streamed in cinemas worldwide on June 3

BTS' SUGA kicked off his first solo world tour SUGA | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ on April 26. The tour will come to a close on June 25.

Following the release of his album D-DAY , BTS' SUGA kicked off his first solo world tour SUGA | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ on April 26. The tour will come to a close on June 25. The U.S. leg includes Belmont Park, NY; Newark, NJ; Rosemont, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Oakland, CA. Then, the tour will hit Asia including Jakarta, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand; Singapore; Kanagawa, Japan; and Seoul, South Korea. Now, as per the new announcement, the Japan concerned will be live-streamed in cinemas worldwide.

The Japan live concert is scheduled for June 3, 2023, at Pia Arena MM, Kanagawa. The announcement of the cinema timings will be made as per the country distributors. Meanwhile, SUGA kicked off his tour in the US on Wednesday night and had a setlist of 23 songs which included his solo album tracks and even tracks from BTS albums.

SUGA released his first official solo album D-DAY under his another moniker Agust D on Friday, April 21. The album arrives about three years after Agust D’s latest solo mixtape D-2 released in May 2020, and acts as the finale of the Agust D trilogy following his two previous mixtapes, Agust D (2016) and D-2 . D-DAY is brimming with hip-hop tracks in Agust D’s own colours. The album includes a total of 10 tracks: main track “Haegeum,” pre-release track “People Pt.2 (feat. IU)” released on April 7, “D-Day,” “HUH?! (feat. j-hope),” “AMYGDALA,” “SDL,” “Polar Night,” “Interlude : Dawn,” “Snooze (feat. Ryuichi Sakamoto, Woosung of The Rose),” and “Life Goes On.”

The overarching theme of D-DAY is ‘liberation.’ It ruminates on the importance of focusing solely on ‘oneself’ and the ‘present’ in today’s society where an excessive amount of information flows at an unimaginable speed. Each track sings that we shouldn’t be swayed by regrets from the past or fear for the future, but concentrate on the present. SUGA participated in the songwriting of all tracks and the overall production of D-DAY, boasting his unparalleled capability as a musician and producer.

SUGA’s first solo documentary film, SUGA: Road to D-DAY also released globally on April 21 via Disney+ and Weverse. Starring SUGA, the film captures SUGA on a journey as musician and producer, finding new inspirations for his music as he goes on a road trip around the world.

SUGA recently also announced he would be hosting a special in-person fan event called 'D-DAY: Movie Night' on May 20, in celebration of his album release. 'D-DAY: Movie Night' takes the concept of a film preview, inviting 350 fans for a special stage and talk session on behind-the-scenes stories of the album making and more.

Calling all ARMYs!

Are you missing BTS' Suga's concert  in Japan? Then here's some good news for you: his much-awaited music show in June is set to be livestreamed in cinemas worldwide.

According to the  API Live Viewing website , the concert will take place on June 3 at the PIA Arena MM in Kanagawa, Japan. However, due to time difference, the start time for the concert screening may vary per country or region. They also noted that showtime may be delayed depending on the circumstances of the concert.

English subtitles will be provided for the viewers. But keep in mind that "recording, filming, or taking photos of the concert is strictly prohibited in the cinema."

Suga is one of the members of the seven-member boy group BTS. He is set to conquer stages in Asia and the United States starting from April to June for his first solo tour dubbed "SUGA | AGUST D."

The concert kicked off in the US at the UBS Arena, Belmont Park in New York on April 26 and 27. It is in support of his first solo album , titled D-DAY , that was released on April 21.

This now makes him the fourth BTS member to make a solo debut in the seven-piece boy group, following J-hope with  Jack in the Box  on July 15 of last year, RM with  Indigo  on Dec. 2, 2022, and Jimin with  Face  on March 24 of this year.

世界にインパクトを与え続けているグローバルグループ・BTS。そのラッパーであり、グループのヒット曲を数多く手がけてきたメンバーでもあるSUGAが、昨年“Agust D”名義で初のワールドソロツアーを開催。アメリカや日本などアジア各国の世界10都市、全25公演のチケットは即完売。各地で心待ちにしていた観客を前に、熱いステージを繰り広げた。 SUGAのソロツアー最終公演を記録した映画が公開。 4月26日から全国の劇場で公開される『SUGAAgust D TOUR ‘D‐DAY’ THE MOVIE』は、そんなツアーの集大成として昨年8月にソウルで行われた最終公演「SUGAAgust D TOUR ‘D‐DAY’ THE FINAL」を記録した作品。ツアーに参加できた人も、あまりにチケットが入手困難だったため行けなかった多くの人も、劇場の大きなスクリーンで迫力あるサウンドとともに、感動のライブを追体験できる。 SUGAはこれまで、Agust D名義で、ミックステープやアルバムを3作品リリースしてきたが、このツアーはそんな“Agust Dトリロジー”の締め括り。その最終公演であり、しかも本国開催ということもあり、特別感はひとしお。ライブは3日間行われたが、各日にメンバーのRM、JIMIN、JUNG KOOKがゲスト出演。それぞれ行われた胸アツのコラボステージも今作には収録されている。さらに、SUGAがステージへの思いを語るモノローグやメイキング映像も収録されていて、ライブ映像を観る時の感慨がより深まっていく。 劇場では、入場者特典の配布が決定。週替わりの配布となり、第1弾は「日本限定ビジュアルホログラムフォトカード」。数量限定でなくなり次第終了となってしまうので、入手したい人は早めの観賞がおすすめ。また、4月24-25日に行われるIMAX (R) 先行上映では、「IMAX版ポスタービジュアルカード (A6サイズ)」が配布される。どちらも行かねば！　 『SUGAAgust D TOUR ‘D‐DAY’ THE MOVIE』 映像はシネマティック専用カメラで撮影。貴重なアングルや迫力あるサウンドが堪能できる。上映時間84分。当日券￥2,600 (IMAX上映は追加料金あり) 。4月24-25日IMAX先行上映、26日より全国公開。配給／エイベックス・フィルムレーベルズ ※『anan』2024年5月1日号より。文・保手濱奈美 (by anan編集部)
