Bask in the magical sunset glow while exploring paradise!  Whether you’re coming from Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, or even locally on Bribie Island a sunset cruise experience is a wonderful way to spend your afternoon.

Once aboard, you’re whisked away to gently cruise the Pumicestone Passage and it’s glorious waterways. The sunset cruise is all about you, the water and the serenity. You will not find running commentary, instead some music in the background to inspire the senses and soak in the breath taking views as the sun sets. If you would prefer a running commentary we highly recommend booking on our Captain’s Lunch Cruise or Morning Tea Cruise

This is a truly spectacular way to unwind with friends, family, colleagues or your loved one!

Bookings: These cruises don’t run daily; please check our online booking schedule. We appreciate bookings being made a minimum of 24 hours prior to travel.

Boarding Time : Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled cruise time.  The gates will open 15 minutes prior to departure and we will depart promptly at the scheduled departure time.  Please do not be late, for the enjoyment of all guests we cannot delay our departure for any late arrivals. Cruise departure times are seasonal and vary, please check your booking paper work for times.

What’s not to love about Bribie Island in beautiful Moreton Bay?

Just over an hour’s drive from Brisbane, this mainland-linked island offers a range of experiences – from the chilled out to the full-on adventurous.

It’s easy to plan a big day on Bribie.  And – you know what they say – a big day needs to start with a big brekky!

They don’t come much bigger than the all-day brunch bonanza at Annie Lane Café in Bongaree.

Self-styled ‘boss babe’, Candice Kiss, has made a name for serving up generous, colourful, seasonally fresh brunch dishes and over-the-top Crazy Shakes.

Fed and fuelled for the day ahead, make your way to the Bribie Beach Shack at Sandstone Point – said to be the only licensed bait and tackle shop in the world.

You get more than beer and bait, though – the café serves great coffee and meals with a serene water view.  You can also hire a boat – or jump on board with owner, Rich Speck, for a leisurely eco-cruise of the Pumicestone Passage.

The cruise takes in the best of the island’s famous waterway and western coastline – its birdlife, its beauty and its history – before delivering you safely onto the beach at Lighthouse Reach and into the hands of Jason Brown of G’day 4WD Adventure Tours.

Between them, Jason and Rich have devised a tag-team tour that takes in the best of Bribie, by land and sea. Both run tours on any given day, then swap over customers halfway through.

The land leg starts with a journey to Fort Bribie, to visit the remains of gun batteries that were built to defend Brisbane from Japanese invasion during World War II.

The tour then turns south for a stunning surf beach run that takes I n 4 semi-tidal lagoons frequented by birdlife and kangaroos.
