CAIN on Tour
Not only are CAIN some of the brightest stars on the Christian music scene, but their personalities are as effervescent as their voices. CAIN's harmonized, country-flavored tunes offer an energetic positivity that's undeniably joyful.
Their first release was the eponymous EP, CAIN , in 2020. They followed that with the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Rise Up , in 2021. They've had several Top 40 hits, including their 2020 single "Rise Up (Lazarus)," which reached No. 1 on Billboard 's Christian Airplay chart and No. 28 on the publication's year-end Hot Christian Songs chart for 2021. The song also won the 2021 K-LOVE Fan Award for Breakout Single of the Year.
In 2021, they had similar success with the single "Yes He Can," reaching No. 1 on Billboard 's Christian Airplay chart and No. 32 on Billboard 's year-end Hot Christian Songs list. That same year their singles "Wonderful," a collaboration with Steven Curtis Chapman, and "The Commission" reached No 4. On the Christian Airplay chart. That same year they were named Most Played Artist on Christian radio by Billboard , BDS and Mediabase, and they were nominated for the American Music Awards Favorite Inspirational Artist and GMA Dove Awards Best New Artist.
On the band's website bio, Logan Cain says, "We're not using happiness as wallpaper to cover the hole in the wall. We're saying if you're not happy now, there's happiness on the way." A live performance with CAIN will bathe you in joy, peace and gratitude. Get tickets to see CAIN when they come to a city near you.
CAIN Live in Concert
CAIN are siblings Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain. They were raised in Alabama, the children of a pastor, and developed a love for music early on. They graduated from Troy University in Troy, Alabama.
Their success story begins with a contest held by country musician Dave Barnes. Their first entry was a cover of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." They continued to advance, covering more songs, and eventually winning the contest. They got additional help with connections made through their grandfather, a former country music publishing executive.
They initially pursued a career in country music, but after five years of a lot of hard work and not much traction, they took a break. They were approached by their now manager Ron Smith at their Nashville church about trying a career in Christian music and, with careful consideration, decided to give it a shot. It turned out to be the key to unlocking their songwriting capabilities and success. Smith got the group a meeting with Provident Label Group and they were offered a recording contract. They've since had several chart-topping hits, amassed almost 1.5 million fans on Spotify, and had over a million streams.
The band's website bio says they're "doing their favorite thing, singing about Jesus."

CAIN Announces Live and In Color Tour
Premier Productions and CAIN announce the Live and In Color Tour with special guests Katy Nichole and David Leonard. CAIN’s first headlining tour will span 30 cities and will see CAIN fresh off The Healer Tour with Casting Crowns. This tour will be special for band members and audience members alike as each night CAIN is asking their audience to show up matching in the same color as their tour outfits. CAIN is inviting the audience to be a part of the show by showing up live and in color. Check out CAINTour.com for your city’s color!
“This spring, we are coming to you LIVE AND IN COLOR on our first ever headline tour,” said Taylor Cain. “We were inspired to name the tour LIVE AND IN COLOR because wearing matching colors has become part of our tradition, but then we thought about what it would be like to have the entire audience match us too. How fun would that be?”
“If you’ve ever been to a concert, you’re pretty used to the program: Opening Act, Middle Act, Headliner,” added Logan Cain. “We’re trying to do something completely new with our tour! We want people to get to know who we are and that includes humor, fun and entertainment as well as ministry, worship and a chance to encounter the presence of God.”
The Live and In Color Tour will also see Katy Nichole and David Leonard in supporting roles. Katy Nichole joins the tour fresh off a historic year, with her hit singles In Jesus Name (God of Possible) and God is in This Story skyrocketing to number one on the charts. David Leonard also joins the tour fresh off the Mac Powell and Friends tour.
“We’ve been so fortunate to learn from the best in the business: Zach Williams, Toby Mac, and Casting Crowns,” Madison added. “Each of these artists poured into us and taught us firsthand what it looks like to live out your faith on and off stage. Now, we are humbled to step out on our own and hit the road with Katy Nichole and David Leonard! We three, Katy and David have planned and prayed for this night, and we can’t wait to see all that the Lord has in store! We can’t wait to see YOU this spring!”
“I’ve had the privilege to experience CAIN’s launch into Christian music over the past several years,” said Josh “Mags” Magnin, Talent Buyer at Premier Productions. “When I came on board at Premier Productions, it was a personal goal of mine to help them launch their first headline tour. We know CAIN is going to deliver an incredible first-time headline tour. We have all worked together to craft an experience that will capture the essence of CAIN’s authenticity, passion and fun-loving spirits from the stage. These three siblings were born to share the story and journey of their ‘Commission.’”

CAIN: Live And In Color Tour – Fall 2023
Cain: live and in color tour - fall 2023.
SIBLING TRIO CAIN EXTENDS LIVE & IN COLOR TOUR THIS FALL
33 NEW TOUR DATES ADDED
FEATURING KATY NICHOLE & DAVID LEONARD
NASHVILLE, TN (June 9, 2023) After selling out 22 shows during their first-ever headlining tour this Spring, award winning sibling trio, CAIN , has added 33 new tour dates to their Fall 2023 calendar, extending the CAIN Live & In Color Tour presented by World Vision , promoted by Premier Productions. Joined by the incredible Katy Nichole and GRAMMY nominated artist David Leonard, CAIN Live & In Color will kick off Wednesday, September 20, in Baton Rouge, LA.
“This fall, we are coming to 33 cities across the US on our LIVE AND IN COLOR Tour,” said Taylor Cain. “We were inspired to name the tour LIVE AND IN COLOR because wearing matching colors has become part of our tradition. We want the audience to join us in wearing the chosen color for each night and together we create a family experience for everyone.”
“We’re trying to do something new with our tour! We want people to get to know who we are and the other artists joining us.” added Logan Cain. “We promise you are going to experience something very unique which includes fun and entertainment as well as ministry, worship and a chance to encounter the presence of God.”
“The spring leg of the tour was so much fun! We want everyone who comes to feel part of our family and to be reminded that we are all part of one body, no one greater and no one less,” said Madison Cain. “So come experience it yourself. We’re waiting for you!”
“We’ve had such great feedback from audiences who attended the spring tour. They have overwhelmingly described the tour as being very “authentic”. There is no divide between the stage and the audience; everyone at the show is on a journey with CAIN, Katy, and David,” said Josh “Mags” Magnin, Talent Buyer, Premier Productions. “Backstage they have created a culture that is reflected onto the stage. The culture of the tour is truly all about family – from the crew, artists, band members, venue staff, and yes, the babies – where they have formed a bond that carries into the entire night. From start to finish, it’s an experience where you journey with all three artists with heartfelt passages, passionate worship moments, and top hits. We have all worked together to craft an experience that will capture the essence of CAIN’s authenticity, passion, and fun-loving spirits from the stage. Premier is excited to launch the fall leg of this tour and continue to tell the story of their ‘Commission.’”

ABOUT CAIN : The music of CAIN quickly became a mainstay at radio since their debut single “Rise Up (Lazarus)” was released in early 2020. Raised in Hartselle, Alabama as pastor’s kids and now residing in Nashville, CAIN – Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain – got their first break opening for Dave Barnes and Andrew Ripp at a show in 2012. Now a decade later, they’ve toured with Zach Williams, Casting Crowns, TobyMac, on the K-LOVE Christmas Tour, and performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage. CAIN launched their first tour this past Spring.
They’ve hit No. 1 back-to-back at radio with their first two singles, “Rise Up (Lazarus)” and “Yes He Can,” both songs from their first full-length album Rise Up. They also won a K-LOVE Fan Award for Top Breakout Single (“Rise Up (Lazarus).” CAIN is also multi-nominated for the GMA Dove Awards (Best New Artist, Pop/Contemporary Album for Rise Up , Recorded Music Packaging for Rise Up , Christmas/Special Event Album for Wonderful ). They have also been nominated for a 2021 American Music Award (AMA). Their new worship project, Honest Offering , is out now with new single, “Any More” releasing this Summer.
It has been said that you if spend five minutes with the members of CAIN you’ll feel like you’ve spent the afternoon in the sunshine. Their joy spills over onto each person they meet, their bright smiles as contagious as their stunning harmonies. Pouring their joy into their music, CAIN has discovered what it’s like to live their calling while doing their favorite thing – singing about Jesus.

Christian band CAIN makes NYS Fair debut on August 26
by Emma Misiaszek
GEDDES, N.Y. — Ahead of Easter weekend, The Great New York State Fair is excited to welcome the Pop/Contemporary Christian band and sibling trio sensation, CAIN, to the 2024 entertainment lineup.
Raised in Hartselle, Alabama as pastor’s kids and now residing in Nashville, the sibling trio has been delighting audiences with their joyous performances since 2012, when they got their big break opening for Dave Barnes and Andrew Ripp. Since then, they have gone on to release four projects, performing on the famed stages of The Grand Ole Opry, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Ryman Auditorium.
Following the success of their breakout album, "Rise Up," which won a K-LOVE Fan Award for Top Breakout Single “Rise Up (Lazarus),” their worship EP, "Honest Offering," was released in 2022, followed by "Jesus Music" in 2023. In 2023, the group debuted their reality TV show “Chasing CAIN,” the first original series produced exclusively for the TBN app, and headlined their first tour – "CAIN: Live & In Color" – during the spring and fall.
CAIN will take the Chevy Court State on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 6 p.m.
The Fair starts Wednesday, August 21, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 2. All concerts are included in the price of admission, which will go on sale later this summer.

New Dates Added to A Different Kind of Tension Tour with special guests TOTALLY UNICORN, CHIMERS & PLACEMENT
THE MARK OF CAIN – the band dubbed least likely in their high school year book – return this August in celebration of being the South Australian Music Awards most recent inductee into the SA Music Hall Of Fame.
THE MARK OF CAIN @ The Triffid, October 2019 >> Check out the live review here Photos by: Tom Wilson
In accepting the honour TMOC join previous recipients including Jim Keays and MASTERS APPRENTICES, Glenn Shorrock, COLD CHISEL, Archie Roach, Bart Willoughby, Sarah McLeod, THE ZOOT and many more. The band will accept the award at a simple ceremony on August 19th at The Gov prior to taking the stage for a full career-spanning set.
Comprised of brothers John Scott (vocals and guitar), Kim Scott (bass) and current and 11th drummer Eli Green, THE MARK OF CAIN have released five albums in their 35-year history including 1989’s debut Battlesick , 1996’s breakthrough Ill At Ease album (included radio hits First Time, LMA ) and most recent release Songs Of the Third & Fifth (2012) featuring former HELMET and current BATTLES and TOMAHAWK drummer John Stanier.
Along the way TMOC have also achieved a series of first including being the first Australian band to work with legendary producer Steve Albini (BIG BLACK, NIRVANA, PAGE & PLANT), the first Australian rock act to crossover into the dance market via their ground breaking work with local DJ / producer Paul Mac (a move later adopted by SILVERCHAIR among others) and remain the only Australian act to be produced by former BLACK FLAG frontman and US spoken word performer Henry Rollins. They have appeared in the soundtrack to movies Idiot Box ( Degenerate Boy ), various surf and skate films and had their track The Contender used as the exit music for contestants on TV show Big Brother .
It’s a remarkable achievement, unique, and all done without ever having relocated from their home city of Adelaide.
“This is much appreciated, it also addresses a common misgiving from our fans that we should have more recognition (our fans are always right you know) and although for ourselves, we’ve never been a band that seeks attention, we were always proud to be a band from Adelaide that could tour other states and show that Adelaide can and does produce great independent music and we have never compromised on that vision or belief. So we take it as a great honour for this recognition and invitation from SAMIA.” – John Scott
In addition to the Adelaide performance and in order to celebrate the induction THE MARK OF CAIN will also play shows in Sydney, Melbourne this August under the banner A Different Kind Of Tension , a nod to legendary UK proto-punks BUZZCOCKS and their influential 3rd album of the same name as well as providing the perfect metaphor of the last two years (and counting) of Covid-endured isolation.
“I’ve been reading and dipping back into THE BUZZCOCKS for some reason this last few months, and it occurred to me that the whole concept of a Different Kind of Tension is very applicable to everything we’ve felt over the last 2 years, and so wanted a very obvious use of imagery that Malcom Garret used so effectively with THE BUZZCOCKS. A band whose music and artwork influenced me greatly when I was young, dumb and full of…erm…hope.” – John

Journey's Jonathan Cain explains why band's upcoming tour with Toto is "all in the family"
Journey is gearing up for a lengthy U.S. trek with Toto dubbed the 2022 Freedom Tour that kicks off on February 22 in Pittsburgh.
Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain tells ABC Audio that the two bands have a familial connection, because his daughter Madison is engaged to Toto guitarist Steve Lukather 's son Trevor . The couple is slated to be married early this year.
"It's all in the family now," Cain jokes.
Meanwhile, Jonathan notes that this will be the first time that his group and Toto will hit the road together, and he says he feels the two acts are a good pairing.
"We did one show with Toto years ago," Cain recalls. "And, you know, both crowds seemed to dig each other's music, so we thought, 'Why not?'"
Journey and Toto both feature virtuoso rock guitarists -- Neal Schon and Lukather -- and Cain says there's a good chance that the two musicians will hit the stage together to jam during the trek.
"I'm sure that will happen a bunch," he notes. "Been buddies for a long time and looking forward to it."
The 2022 Freedom Tour will mark Journey's first full-length tour since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020.
"We are pleased as heck to be in the arenas [again]," Jonathan declares. "It's a risky deal, but we're going to follow the [COVID] protocol precautions for safety for the crew and the band."
The tour is plotted out through a May 11 show in Hartford, Connecticut. Billy Idol originally had been announced as opening act for the first portion of the trek. However, sinus issues forced Idol to bow out of the tour, so Toto now is opening the entire trek.

Music and concerts, music and concerts | journey’s 50th anniversary tour makes its way to norfolk with a ‘dirty dozen’ in store.
Journey is back with its 50th-anniversary tour, headlining arenas this spring before spending a chunk of the summer on a stadium tour with Def Leppard.
Guitarist and founding member Neal Schon and keyboardist/guitarist Jonathan Cain say that today’s band has never played better.
“Finally, it sounds like the Journey everybody knows,” Cain said of the group, which formed in 1973 in San Francisco. “It’s back to the ’80s, that’s what it sounds like.”
Journey with special guest star Toto is coming to Scope Friday.
Schon and Cain are the two remaining members going back to the early 1980s when Journey was churning out hits like “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Any Way You Want It” and “Open Arms.” The two reflected on the band during a recent video interview, including on recent lawsuits, disputes and personnel changes, and regaining a level of popularity that has Journey back on the road.
But there were more issues to come – this time between Schon and Cain. Schon sent a cease-and-desist letter to Cain after Cain joined a sing-along of “Don’t Stop Believing” at a November 2022 event for former president Donald Trump. Cain’s wife, Paula, had worked as a spiritual advisor to Trump. Schon took offense to Cain’s performance, noting that Journey never was and never would be a political band.
Then last year, Schon and Cain traded lawsuits over a financial account for the group. The bandmates hashed out their differences without the courts, they said.
“All we really did was get fed up with the legal and having legals talk instead of us,” Schon said. “We talked for a couple of hours and we talked through it all. I think that’s what fixed everything.”
Now Schon and Cain are leading Journey (with Pineda, Castronovo and Jensen) on one of the band’s biggest touring years. Fans can expect to hear Journey’s biggest hits — the “Dirty Dozen” as the band has nicknamed them — with a handful of new or deeper cuts. This makes crafting set lists a challenge but it’s a problem many bands would welcome.
“We just have a massive catalog,” Cain said, “with so many great songs that we don’t get to.”
When: 7:30 p.m. Friday
Where: Scope, 201 E. Brambleton Ave., Norfolk
Tickets: Start at $49.50
