Dodge Journey 2023 llega en tres versiones con un diseño distinto

La segunda y más reciente generación llegó a México en el 2022, por lo que tal parece que ha tenido tan buena respuesta en el público mexicano que se ha consolidado como uno de los suv más vendidos del país gracias en parte a su propuesta orientada a varias generaciones. Dodge Journey 2023 llega ahora con un par de cambios en diseño y te la vamos a presentar.

Dodge Journey 2023: Características

Esta suv puede transportar a 5 ocupantes dentro de ella, gracias al espacio amplio de la cabina y banca trasera 60/40, o reclinando ambos asientos para dejar un piso completamente plano.

Las versiones SXT y Sport tienen un cuadro de instrumentos análogo y una pantalla digital LCD de 7 pulgadas, mientras que para la variante GT el clúster LCD es de 12.3 pulgadas.

La pantalla táctil central es de 8 pulgadas compatible con Android Auto & Apple CarPlay de serie.

En cuanto a materiales, veremos piano black en la consola central, piel en la palanca de velocidades, así como en otras zonas de la nueva Journey.

Dodge Journey 2023 se alimenta por un motor turbo 1.5L capaz de desarrollar 169 caballos de fuerza y 195 lb-pie de torque, lo anterior acoplado a una transmisión automática Aisin de 6 velocidades.

Una de las cosas que destacan para este modelo, es la suspensión independiente para las cuatro ruedas gracias al esquema tipo McPherson para el eje delantero, mientras que el posterior emplea una arquitectura de brazos múltiples.

Dodge Journey 2023, uno de los SUV de más arraigo en México presenta su segunda generación, con novedades en exterior, interior, seguridad, equipamiento y motorización. Ahora tiene líneas más suaves y modernas, sin embargo luce musculoso con la anchura de las salpicaderas y lo generoso del tamaño de la parrilla de acabado negro brillante.

los rediseñados faros disfrutan de FULL LED TECHNOLOGY ; nuevos espejos laterales con luces direccionales de diseño tipo  boomerang , la parte posterior se distingue por la tradicional luz trasera denominada  Racetrack , compuesta por 190 LEDS.

Dodge Journey 2023: Lanzamiento y precios en México

Dodge añade la versión GT Plus a la Journey, con detalles estéticos interesantes y equipamiento complementario para la variante.

La Dodge Journey sigue figurando como una SUV interesante en el mercado actual. Desde su llegada en el 2021, se ha colocado como uno de los modelos más vistos en México.

Ahora, para 2023 el modelo obtiene la nueva versión GT Plus con detalles estéticos como estribos laterales acabados en aluminio cepillado, tapetes 3D y un protector para la cajuela.

El diseño se mantiene con lo que conocimos de este modelo hace ya casi un par de años. Conserva los faros Full LED en la parte frontal y la iluminación Racetrack de serie para la SUV.

Al interior, conserva lo conocido

JOURNEY Announces ‘Freedom Tour 2023’ with Very Special Guest TOTO

One of the most legendary rock bands of all time, JOURNEY has announced the continuation of their highly successful tour with the 50th-anniversary celebration “Freedom Tour 2023” featuring very special guest TOTO . JOURNEY , diamond-selling Rock And Roll Hall Of Famers, will take the stage in 38 cities across North America with their catalog of global chart-topping hits, including “Don’t Stop Believin'”, “Any Way You Want It”, “Faithfully” and “Lights”.

Presented by AEG Presents , JOURNEY “Freedom Tour 2023” begins February 4 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, making stops in Austin, Montreal, Memphis and more before wrapping April 25 at the brand new Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California. The 2023 run includes rescheduled dates in Washington D.C., Hartford, Toronto and Quebec that were postponed earlier this year due to COVID-19.

JOURNEY and TOTO previously joined forces for an early 2022 U.S. arena tour.

JOURNEY is continuing to promote its latest album, “Freedom” , which was released in July via BMG . The LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Current Rock chart.

The members of JOURNEY celebrated the album’s release by kicking off a residency featuring special symphony orchestra performances at the new, state-of-the-art Resorts World Casino in Las Vegas.

As JOURNEY ‘s legend continues to grow larger and their touring gets bigger, “Freedom” is the band’s first album of new material to be released in eleven years, since 2011’s “Eclipse” , and in addition to Schon , along with longtime keyboard player and primary lyricist Cain and Pineda , one more member was recruited for the LP — bassist extraordinaire Randy Jackson , who had played on JOURNEY ‘s 1986 album “Raised On Radio” .

La nueva Dodge Journey 2022 llegó al mercado después de 14 años y de inmediato se convirtió en todo un éxito, tenía todo lo necesario para triunfar. Un precio inicial accesible, mucho espacio interior y un diseño deportivo y dinámico. En autosur vamos a hablar de cada aspecto de la nueva Dodge Journey 2022 precios, características y versiones en México. En esta segunda generación la Dodge Journey trae un motor de 1.5 L Turbo con 169 hp y 195 lb-pie de torque todo esto funcionando a través de una transmisión automática de 6 velocidades.

Características Journey 2022

Entre sus características journey 2022 demuestra lo grande que es con un amplio interior integrado con tecnología de punta y comodidad. Los asientos y el volante están forrados en piel con detalles de costura así como la utilización de black piano en y toques plateados en los acabados. El volante cuenta con controles de mando multimedia y ajuste de profundidad y de altura, el aire acondicionado es de dos plazas, descansa brazos con guantera disponible y un botón de encendido por acercamiento.

Tecnología

En tecnología tenemos un clúster totalmente digital LCD de 12.3" altamente configurable, cargador inalámbrico para celular, luces inteligentes para detectar automáticamente al iluminación y ajustar los haces de los faros. La pantalla multimedia integrada es de 8° con Apple Car Play y Android auto cuenta con conexión vía alámbrica y bluetooth. Por debajo encontramos dos conectores USB, asientos calefactables (también se puede enfriar) de ajuste eléctrico y toda la consola central es un panel táctil piano black.

La seguridad no se quedó atrás y para esta nueva versión encontramos 6 bolsas de aire, sensor de punto ciego, frenos ABS, ESP, monitor de presión de llantas, alerta de cambio de carril, cámara 360°, alerta de colisión frontal y sensor de lluvia.

Los pros y contras de la nueva Dodge Journey

El arribo de la segunda entrega de Journey supone un cambio de 90 grados en construcción, linaje y capacidad ¿logrará atrapar a las familias mexicanas?

Ya la manejamos durante su presentación, así que aquí te dejamos los pros y contras que consideramos que tiene:

-Calidad de materiales de Journey

De entrada, el modelo es parte de una colaboración con la marca GAC en China, básicamente es una GAC GS5.

GAC posee gran reputación, por lo que el GS5 es un modelo con una calidad de materiales sobresalientes en su segmento.

En Journey no es la excepción, los ensamblados y materiales sobresalen por lo que se está pagando.

La consola central está terminada en negro piano y además de estar colocada la palanca de velocidades forrada en piel, tiene diversos controles como los modos de manejo, freno de estacionamiento electrónico, ventilación y calefacción de asientos.

-Calidad de marcha

Bajo el cofre de la Journey 2022 se encuentra un motor turbo con 1.5 litros de desplazamiento , inyección directa, sistema de apertura variable, capaz de desarrollar 169 caballos de fuerza y 195 libras-pie de torque.

Dicha motorización está acoplada a una transmisión automática Aisin de última generación con 6 velocidades.

Por su parte, la suspensión es independiente en las cuatro ruedas, con un esquema tipo McPherson para el eje delantero, mientras que el posterior emplea una arquitectura de brazos múltiples.

El resultado es una calidad de marcha bastante interesante, con un gran trabajo de la suspensión para favorecer la insonorización.

-Nivel de equipamiento

Para las versiones SXT y Sport, está disponible un cuadro de instrumentos análogo y una pantalla digital LCD de 7 pulgadas, mientras que para la variante GT el clúster LCD es de 12.3 pulgadas.

Por su parte, la pantalla táctil central es de 8 pulgadas, brindando todo tipo de información tanto del vehículo como conectividad vía Bluetooth, así como Android Auto & Apple Car Play de serie.

Así mismo, la cámara de reversa con líneas dinámicas tiene resolución HD y con vista envolvente 360° para las versiones Sport y GT.

-Seguridad en versión base de Journey

La versión de entrada sólo cuenta con 4 bolsas de aire, lo cual queda por debajo del resto de las versiones que ya añaden 6 de serie .

A pesar de ello, las demás versiones de Journey cuentan con 6 airbags y los sistemas de seguridad complementarios.

Israel shot down Iranian missiles with F-35I Adir stealth fighter jets that cost $44,000 per hour to fly

• Iran appeared to target Israel's Nevatim Airbase with over 350 drones and missiles on Sunday.
• Nevatim houses Israel's F-35I "Adir" stealth fighter jets produced by US company Lockheed-Martin.
• The planes downed a cruise missile in November and aided defenses against Iranian missiles, the IDF said.

Early Sunday morning, Iran fired hundreds of drones, missiles, and rockets at Israel in a retaliatory attack following Israel's strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria.

With military assistance from allies including the US, the UK, Jordan, and France, Israel successfully intercepted around 99% of the incoming projectiles, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

The missiles appeared to target Israel's Nevatim Airbase in the Negev desert, which houses its fleet of F-35I stealth fighter jets . The Israeli variant of the US-made Lockheed Martin Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter plane is known as "Adir," meaning "Mighty One" in Hebrew.

Here's a look at the powerful military aircraft.

F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter jets produced by Lockheed Martin are some of the most advanced military aircraft in the world.

The F-35 stores its weapons and fuel internally, and its aligned edges and radar-absorbent coating also help the aircraft evade detection. The planes cost $44,000 per hour to fly, The National Interest reported in January.

They feature advanced stealth and information-processing capabilities and can reach supersonic speeds of Mach 1.6, or 548.8 meters per second.

Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn A. Hewson said in 2018 that the planes "can fly in what we call ' beast mode, ' carrying up to 18,000 pounds of internal and external ordnance, in a mix that can include 5,000-pound-class weapons."

In 2016, Israel became the first country other than the US to acquire F-35 fighter jets.

Israel was the first country to select the model through the US Foreign Military Sales process and bought 50 planes, according to Lockheed Martin .

Israel has made significant modifications to the jets.

Israel manufactures its own wings and electronic warfare system for the F-35I. It also developed its own version of the high-tech helmet that displays the plane's airspeed, altitude, targeting information, and other crucial stats directly on the pilot's visor.

The Israeli Air Force named its F-35I variant "Adir," meaning "Mighty One" in Hebrew.

The Israeli Air Force also added a six-pointed Star of David to the design, a Jewish symbol that also appears on the Israeli flag.

In 2018, Israel became the first country to use the F-35I in combat, its air force chief said.

"We are flying the F-35 all over the Middle East and have already attacked twice on two different fronts," then-Israeli Air Force chief Major-General Amikam Norkin said in a speech at a gathering of foreign air force leaders, Reuters reported.

In July 2023, Israel acquired an additional 25 Adir planes in a $3 billion deal.

The deal was financed through the military aid Israel receives from the US, Reuters reported.

In November 2023, Israel's F-35I Adir fighter jets took down a missile fired by an Iran-backed group in Yemen, according to the IDF.

It was the first known intercept of a cruise missile by an F-35 plane.

The Israeli Air Force released footage of the encounter on X , writing in Hebrew that its personnel are "preoccupied at every moment with planning and managing the defense response and are prepared for any threat in any area."

Iran appeared to target the Nevatim air base, which houses Israel's fleet of F-35I jets, during an unprecedented attack on Sunday morning.

Out of the over 350 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and UAVs, or unmanned aerial vehicles, launched at Israel by Iran and its proxies in Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon, around 99% were intercepted by Israel and its allies. The IDF released photos showing minor damage near a runway at the Nevatim Airbase and to a road in Hermon caused by the few projectiles that landed.

The Nevatim base remained operational throughout the attack, according to the IDF, with the Adir fighter jets aiding the defensive mission.

"Iran thought it would be able to paralyze the base and thus damage our air capabilities, but it failed," IDF spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said in a statement.

The ongoing war in Gaza has prompted new scrutiny of US military aid to Israel.

The October 7 terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas killed around 1,200 Israelis and captured over 240. Around 129 hostages remain in Gaza , though it is unknown how many are still alive.

Israel's counteroffensive airstrikes and military actions in Gaza have resulted in over 33,000 Palestinian fatalities, including around 14,500 children, according to figures provided to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs by the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in Gaza. The IDF reports that 13,000 of these fatalities were Hamas militants.

According to the UNRWA, over 1.7 million Gazans have been displaced and 1.1 million are at risk of "catastrophic levels of food insecurity."

The devastating human toll of the war in Gaza with US-funded planes like the F-35I has prompted new scrutiny of US aid to Israel , with some lawmakers in Congress raising the possibility of conditioning military and economic aid.
