He continued to reveal that despite the hectic schedule, he managed to spend some quality time at home: "But this week I've been home. I've done the nappies, I've done the late nights and I can't wait to stay on tour. I'm joking! Honestly, she is truly awesome. I never thought I'd be a dad, so I can't quite believe it."

He humorously pointed to his groin and said: "It works! And genuinely I'm super, super proud. And to be on this tour, it's just topped it off. So what an amazing time for me right now. So this next part for me, when I got on this tour, I thought, I just wanna play loads and loads of of my songs that hopefully some of you guys remember."

Moving on, Olly shared: "And before the baby was here, we actually called this next section The Minnie MURS Medley. And so, ladies and gentlemen, if you've been following my career since 2009, some of these songs you will remember I hope you guys enjoy them. This is literally my Super Bowl moment!"

Following that, Olly pleased the crowd with fan favourites like Troublemaker, Moves and Dear Darlin' before setting the stage for Take That.

The trio, consisting of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald, then thrilled the audience by performing hits like Back for Good and Relight My Fire.

Just a few days back, the Heart Skips A Beat crooner took to Instagram to share an intimate snap as he spent some time with his daughter, Madi, watching a football game.

Work commitments have kept him away from her but Olly seized the opportunity to share a pic of a Manchester United baby grow via his Instagram Stories and offered thanks to the club.

His day ended perfectly as he watched the match while sharing cuddles with his two-week old little girl in bed.

Olly Murs and Amelia Tank shared the joyful news of their newborn's arrival on Wednesday, 17th April, via a charming photograph of them leaving the hospital arms laden with the most precious cargo.

However, amid the happiness of becoming a first-time dad, Olly revealed his heartache as he had to bid farewell to his little girl to report back to work.

Despite the exhilarating baby announcements made mere hours ago, the pop star confirmed that his responsibilities in the music industry continued. He tearfully shared that despite the joyous occasion, it was "horrible" leaving his new bundle of joy at home while heading off to support Take That at their Leeds gig later that evening.

Olly Murs has opened up about the 'guilt' he feels being away from his partner and their newborn baby while on tour with Take That.

The 'Dance With Me Singer' welcomed his first child Madison with his wife Amelia Tank in April but he was forced to leave his little family just two days later to join the group on their tour.

During an emotional moment on stage, he confessed to how conflicted he was feeling to be away from them.

As he took to the stage at the London O2 Arena, he told fans: 'It's been the most craziest time... obviously on the one hand I've got this beautiful baby girl, my wife is at home looking after her with the nappies, and the sleepless nights.

'And, I'm on tour with Take That. I feel guilty!' he said in the clip posted by MailOnline. Olly continued: 'But this week I've been home, I've done the nappies, I've done the late nights... and I can't wait to stay on tour!

'I'm joking honestly, it's truly awesome. I never thought I'd be a dad so I can't quite believe it... but genuinely I'm super, super proud and to be on this tour has just topped it off, so what an amazing time for me.'

The 39-year-old later gave fans some insight into how wonderfully chaotic his life has become since becoming a dad in a series of pics of him living it up on stage with the last one showing him up to his ears in nappies.

'What Friday nights look like these days,' he teased.

Olly also couldn't resist sending himself up in an adorable clip of him singing to his little lady.

'All you do is cry. cry, cry, Madi I love your eyes, you are really sleepy right now... you're not the first person, when I start singing to fall asleep, ' he sang to her.

During a gig in Leeds, hours after he and Amelia welcomed Madison he confirmed that she is 'doing really well.'

'She's at home with my lovely wife and it's a real honour to be here. I wasn't going to leave you guys hanging tonight, I'll rush home to see the baby,' he told the crowd.

Olly Murs shares heart-melting first photo of baby daughter - and here's who she looks like

The former x factor star posted an adorable picture of little madison.

Earlier this week, Olly Murs and his wife Amelia Tank delighted fans when they announced the arrival of their baby, a little girl called Madison . 

On Sunday, the new dad took to Instagram to share the sweetest photo of the tiny tot , and made an amusing comment about who she resembles. 

In the snapshot, Olly's daughter was fast asleep, wearing a beige outfit with a blanket cosily tucked around her. 

Taken with her feet in the foreground, Olly joked as he wrote: "Bless Madi I think she's got her Dad's feet,"  adding foot, laughing and heart emojis. It's the first look at his daughter that the X Factor singer has shared since her arrival. 

On Wednesday, he posted a glimpse of the new parents leaving the hospital carrying their daughter, although she couldn't be seen in the image.

The proud dad announced Madison's arrival as he sweetly gushed: "Our mini Murs has arrived [heart emoji] Madison we love you so much already x." 

The couple, who tied the knot in July 2023 in a wedding exclusively covered in HELLO! , announced they were expecting back in December with a sweet announcement. 

"Baby Murs due 2024," Olly captioned the image, which showed him holding up a baby scan and pointing at his wife's stomach . 

The couple married in Olly's native Essex at 380-acre Osea Island in the Blackwater Estuary, which made for the perfect backdrop for their three-day celebrations. 

Shortly after the nuptials, Olly told HELLO!  how they were looking ahead to their next adventure of having children together. "We’re ready to have our own little Murs running around," he said.

"It’s so special that we’ll be able to take our kids to Osea Island one day and say: 'This is where we got married.'" The couple shared their wedding photos exclusively with HELLO! , from Amelia's three bridal dresses to their tearful vows. "I was on the brink of crying at any moment," Olly said.

"When my nephews walked down the aisle, I was gone, then when Amelia came in – oh my God! My mum said she hasn't seen me cry like that since I was four years old!" 

He added: "I was blown away by how amazing it was. It was quite magical – the perfect celebration of our love." As the star's social media posts have shown over the last few years, the couple's Essex mansion offers plenty of space for a family home. 

Their swimming pool kept the pair entertained during the Covid-19 lockdowns, with the singer sharing a clip of them performing a series of hilarious jumps. 

A black barn with iron handles was visible in the background, which may have been the couple's pool house, while the pool itself is framed with glass railing and a row of pebbles. 

The entire house, including the kitchen, has vaulted ceilings, making for a country-style effect alongside the wooden beams. 

The rustic theme continues upstairs with the bedroom boasting a double bed with a black headboard, positioned against a wall decorated with black and white cityscape wallpaper. Wooden side tables holding grey lamps tie in with the neutral theme.

Olly Murs reveals ‘intense plan’ to make a mad dash to his baby’s birth while touring

Things really are on the Up for Olly Murs as the singer and his heavily pregnant wife, Amelia, prepare to welcome their first child into the world . Here, Murs, 39, tells us about impending fatherhood, the prospect of turning 40 and hitting the road with Take That.

Just to warn you, I am in a bit of pain. I went paintballing for my brother’s stag do and I’m covered in bruises.

It’s horrible, because the more you scream, the more people hit you.

What were you put through on your stag ?

I went to Croatia , to a place called Hvar. The guys had me wearing all sorts of outfits [including] a stag shirt with different things you had to do as challenges, from getting a girl to put makeup on you, to kissing a bald head. The last one was to drink a pint out of a stranger’s sock… quite disgusting, actually.

You’re about to go on tour with Take That. Did your heart skip a beat when they asked you to join them?

It was funny because Gary [Barlow] emailed me and said, “Olly, I’ve been told there’s this idea of us going on tour together next year, that you’d come on and be a special guest. Is that true?” I said, “Yeah.” He goes, “But you did an arena tour last year – I’m confused.” I went, “Gary, I would be honoured to be on tour with you guys, I see this as a bucket-list thing.” 

They’re such iconic artists, and a band that I grew up listening to. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Gary. I’ve been friends with Robbie [Williams] as well, who was obviously part of Take That. Mark [Owen], I did Soccer Aid with a few times, and Howard [Donald] is great, I see him at Manchester United. It just comes at a really good time, perfect to be a part of it.

Do you have a favourite Take That song?

When I did X Factor in 2009, I waited at the O2 all day… got in front of the guy, the producer, and he asked me, “What song are you going to sing?” I said, “Paolo Nutini’s New Shoes.” He went, “If I have to hear Paolo’s New Shoes, Kings of Leon, or Bridge Over f***ing Troubled Water again, I’m going to lose my head. Can you sing another song?” 

I sung [Stevie Wonder’s] Superstition, got a yes. When I finished, he said, “Look, piece of advice, in your next audition [in front of the judges], sing that song and a Take That song, and you’ll be fine.” So, I did a song called Up All Night, that was my backup… I’ve never told anyone that before.

What is the most memorable thing that’s happened to you on the road?

When I toured America with One Direction. That is probably something that I’ll never experience again. We had thousands of fans following buses, running down the street after cars, and then realising it was me and not Niall Horan [laughs]. You got girls going through garbage trucks, bins at hotels, and we had top-end security at every hotel we went to… we’re turning up at Universal Studios, Florida, and it’s all closed down, just for me and 1D to go round and use the rides. That level of madness. Even I felt like an international superstar for five minutes.

Congratulations on soon becoming a dad . In terms of the logistics of touring, I’m assuming you have a plan of action for when the baby is born…

There’s quite an intense plan in place, which has been a stress, I think, for my tour manager and management team. What will be, will be… when it comes, it comes, whether it’s in the middle of a show, or not. We planned this tour way before the baby was a thought, so now’s it’s here, it’s happening. You know in Home Alone, when they’re running through the airport, that music, that

chaos? That is me. That’s what I’ll be like, heading back from wherever in the country to the birth of my baby.

What are you looking forward to about being a father? Anything you’re not prepared for?

That, at some point, your child is going to hate you. That scares me a bit. But also, I understand that, because at some point there’s times when I hated my parents. Not hate as in a real dark kinda hate. It’s more, you have to be the bad guy sometimes… trying to be a dad and a best friend, if I can find that balance, that will be great.

It’ll be when they’re going through their (ahem) Troublemaker phase… will you be going down the celebrity baby name route, with something inspired by fruit or vegetables? No one’s christened their kid Broccoli yet, so that’s up for grabs.

[Laughs]. Well, listen, me and Amelia love our greens, so that’s possible! No, we’ve not gone down that route… we’ve really thought about, you know, from nicknames, to what they might be called at school, and what they might think at 18, 19, 20. We’ve got some really beautiful, amazing names. You’ll have to wait and see.

What are your music plans? Can we expect a follow-up to your 2022 album Marry Me in the foreseeable future?

Now, the most important thing in my life is Amelia, who’s pregnant, and the second most important thing is that the baby comes safe, and then after that being a dad… I love the music and I’ll continue to do it, but when I’m doing an album, I need to be in it. At the moment, I’d say I’m not really in it. For example, if I just turn this camera round [turns the camera to show a baby’s cot], that’s what I’m in: cots. That’s what we’re up to these days.

You also turn 40 next month (May 14). How do you feel about growing older? I’m 38 and I’ve started investing in all the retinols to hold back Father Time.

I mean, 40, 40s, you start seeing things. The grey hairs start to come through, your nostril hairs, ear hairs… you’re having to trim areas of your body you didn’t think you’d have to [laughs]. Them sort of things are a bit worrying, but I’m embracing it. I’ve always – the last three or four years – put my body first, my health first, training well, eating well… you reap the benefits of that.

Can you remember a standout encounter you’ve had with a fan?

I’ve had so many beautiful moments. Some really sad moments as well. I was with a woman recently, her son [died by] suicide. We were at a retreat in Essex, and this lovely lady came in and sat with me in a sauna… 

I said, “What brings you here?” She said, “Oh, I’m here because my son [died by] suicide a few years ago. I’m just here to sort of rebuild me life.” We just had a chat about suicide and chatted about people that we’d lost. 

Obviously, I spoke about Caroline [Flack], and what I went through, my own personal experience… I don’t know how she felt, but it was like she needed to talk to me, and I said to her, “The most important thing is that you talk about it, the fact that me and you, two strangers that met today in a [sauna], pretty much in our swim gear, sweating” – it was one of them really funny conversations where at the end we were laughing, “We need to get out,” because we were both absolutely [dripping with] sweat!
