Your guided e-scooter tour will take you around the city with freedom like no other mode of transportation - with a serious fun factor. Choose between 5 different routes. Three of the routes explore Budapest along a theme which the 2-hour tour is based on to curate your tour. Alternatively, choose to take the express 1.5-hour tour which takes you to the best of the city, or take your time with an extensive 3-hour tour of the city. MonsterRoller electric scooters feature 9.5 inch wide wheels, a low platform and zero emissions. The handling feels more like surfing than riding and makes them easier to ride than a bicycle but as stable and robust as a scooter.

• No driver's license required, but experience riding bicycles and/or scooters is recommended

• Extra back seats for youths aged 10-18 are available on request if advised at time of booking

What a way to see Budapest! Balint was our guide and he was brilliant. He knew everything and he was very knowledgeable. We saw everything in 3 hours. An amazing way to see a new city. The monster rollers are simple to operate. We were nervous at the start but after a short while we found them so easy to handle. Don’t waste money on any other way to see Budapest. I would recommend E Magine to anyone. Age is no barrier I’m the wrong side of 50. A couple in their 70’s enquired about them when we were stopped at the parliament! Just do it. Don’t waste time or money on anything else. Recommend!

No.  Our MonsteRoller electic scooters qualify as e-bikes so a driving license is not required. The handling of them is very easy and you will have a short training and practice session before heading out.

• Age limit : tour participants must be 14 years or older to drive (under adult supervision).
• You must have a valid  photo ID card  or a copy of your passport with you. One photo ID per group will be photographed as a deposit during the rental period. 
• Due to the nature of the activity, drivers must be  sober  during the tour. If you arrive intoxicated, we will be forced to cancel your ride without  a refund.
• Everyone is required to sign our  terms & conditions  before the tour. You can read the complete terms by  clicking here .
• Please  arrive a few minutes early  to get set for your tour without any rush.

Comfort is key during your ride. Riding an e-scooter means it can get windy during the ride, so we recommend wearing layered clothing. High heel shoes and short skirts are not recommended.

Please note that bookings are valid whether rain or shine, but don’t worry: we can provide rain ponchos if it rains, and warm gloves when it gets cold. 

Yes.  Our MonsteRoller electric scooters qualify as e-bikes so you can use the bike lanes. In fact, our tour routes mostly use bike paths and we recommend using them during self-guided rides as well for the safest and most enjoyable ride.

The All In Tour starts from our downtown location at Bécsi utca 8, 1052 Budapest  ( open in Google maps ). It’s a 2-minute walk from  Deák Ferenc tér  metro station (lines M1, M2 and M3).

The tour ends at the same location.

Sure.  If you have bags that you’d like to leave with us for the duration of your tour, we can store your luggage safely and free of charge at our locations while you’re out discovering Budapest. 

Our tours are designed to be cozy and intimate experiences, with no more than 12 people in the group. We want to make sure we can ride together smoothly and that everyone gets a chance to ask their questions. If you prefer a more personalized tour with your own group, you can book a private tour by getting in touch with us.

We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone who’d like to ride and to make sure you can ride together with your entire group. However, in case of large groups of 10 or more people, we reserve the right to divide the group into more than one group and start them a few minutes apart for maximum safety, and in order to minimize disturbance to city traffic. Thank you for understanding.

Tipping is not mandatory but it is always much appreciated. In general, you can aim at around 10%, but only if you’re happy with the provided services.

Bookings are valid whether rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. But don’t worry: we can provide rain ponchos if needed, and gloves if it gets cold.

However, in case of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen events, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the activity until next availability. If we cancel for such reasons, you will receive a full refund.

Rescheduling tours : Tours can be rescheduled if given advance notice of more than 24 hours (based on availability). If you let us know within less than 24 hours that you cannot make it but would like to rebook for another date or time, or you don’t show up for your tour but would like to reschedule, you will be charged a rebooking fee of €15/person. Thank you for understanding.

Free cancellations are available up to 24 hours before start time. After then, a 100% cancellation fee is charged.

Rescheduling rentals : MonsteRoller e-scooter rentals can be rescheduled based on availability. If you cannot make it at the original booked time, let us know as soon as you can and our team will do our best to offer you alternate options – however, please note that it’s subject to availability and in high season, we may not be able to give you another suitable option due to a large number of reservations. Please note that if you are trying to reschedule within 24 hours and we cannot give you another suitable date, you will not be entitled to a refund.

General Rental Conditions

Prices The above prices are available only if booked online on our site. Offline prices may differ from the above prices.

The rental price includes

• 1 Helmet for 50 CC, and 2 helmets for 125 CC scooters
• Unlimited mileage
• Anti-theft lock
• Third-party liability insurance
• Free road assistance (only within the city)

Hourly Rental You can book the scooter for a fixed schedule during the day. Half day-4 hours: from 10 AM to 2 PM or from 2 PM to 6 PM (not available on weekends and national holidays) Full day-8 hours: from 10 AM to 6 PM available every day

Daily Rental You can book the scooter for one or more days. One day is 24 hours starting from your confirmed pick-up time. Pick-up of the scooters is available between 10 AM and 6 PM.

Driver’s license The driver must hold a valid driver’s license eligible to drive the rented scooter in Hungary 50 cc scooter Car or Moped license (EU “B” or “AM” category or an international equivalent) 50 cc scooters are only for 1 person, they are forbidden to carry a passenger and are not allowed on motorways and expressways. 125 cc scooter Motorcycle license ( EU “A1” category or higher or an international equivalent) 125 cc scooters are eligible to carry a passenger and are allowed on motorways and expressways with a valid toll road ticket.

Use of the scooter The scooter must not be driven by anyone other than the person indicated in the rental agreement as the driver. The use of the scooter for delivery services is forbidden.

Security Deposit The security deposit is your guarantee for the damages, theft, or loss of the scooter and it is payable at the beginning of the rental. The deposit will be immediately refunded after the termination of the rental if the scooter is returned undamaged. The security deposit is 200 EUR /80.000 HUF which can be paid with cash or credit card. Instead of cash, we accept an EU National ID or an international Passport.

Third-Party Liability Insurance All our scooters are provided with a Third Party Liability Insurance. This insurance covers your liability towards third parties in case of an accident that involves damage to a third-party vehicle or injuries of persons due to your fault. This insurance does not cover the damage to your scooter or the injuries of the driver. If damage occurred in your scooter due to another driver’s fault then his insurance should cover the damages to your scooter.

Liability The renter drives the scooter at his/her own risk. The lessor is under no circumstances liable for any direct or indirect damages to the driver arising out of or in connection with the rental. The driver is liable for all fines for breaking traffic rules. The renter acknowledges that the scooters are not insured against property damage, theft, or loss and therefore the renter is fully liable for any damage, theft, or loss of the scooter. The maximum liability of the renter is: 50 cc scooter: 200.000 HUF/ 500 EUR 125 cc standard scooter: 300.000 FUF/750 EUR 125 cc Maxi scooter: 400.000 HUF/1000 EUR

Fuel policy The rental price does not include Fuel (except otherwise agreed) The scooters are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank otherwise we may apply the below refill service charge: 50 cc scooter: 10 EUR/ 4.000 HUF Standard 125 cc scooter: 12 EUR / 4.800 HUF 125 cc Maxi scooter: 20 EUR / 8.000 HUF You must keep the receipt for the petrol and show it at drop off.  An optional Fuel Package (you can bring back the scooter with an empty tank) is available at a reduced price at the beginning of the rental.

Reservation You can reserve a scooter online up to 24 hours before the rental. For reservations within 24 hours please call +36 309845100

Pick up and Drop off time Pick up and drop off of the scooters is available from Monday to Sunday 10.00-18.00   according to the time confirmed in your reservation. If you would like to change your pick-up or drop-off time please call the office. Please note that if you don’t pick up the scooter 30 minutes after the confirmed pick-up time we may cancel your reservation without notice. If you may have a delay picking up the scooter please call the office.

Pick-up and drop-off location The scooters must be picked up and dropped off at our office at 1053 Budapest Vamhaz körút 10  ( The office is located inside the house courtyard).

Delays and rental extensions The scooter must be brought back by the time indicated in your rental agreement. The grace period for delays is 30 minutes (not applicable for 4-hour rentals). For delays over the grace period, we may charge a 1-day extra rental cost. In case you have a delay please call our office. You can prolong your rental by phone subject to availability.

Rental Add-ons

Fuel Package The scooters are provided to you with a full tank and must be brought back with a full tank. If you don’t want to hassle with refilling the scooter before bringing it back, you can buy the Fuel Package and bring back the scooter with an empty tank. You can buy the fuel package during the booking process or at check-in. The prices of the Fuel Package you can find in the price list.

Motorway Toll Ticket Motorways and expressways are toll roads in Hungary and to use them you have to buy a ticket in advance. The ticket for motorcycles costs 8 EUR/ 3200 HUF (2023) and is valid for up to 10 days for all the motorways and expressways in Hungary. You can buy the ticket in our office. If you use the highways without a ticket you will get a fine. Only 125 cc and bigger scooters are allowed on motorways and expressways, the 50 cc scooters are forbidden.
