Summer of firsts: royal caribbean all in on 2023 seasonal caribbean cruises.
MIAMI, Dec. 16, 2021 – Royal Caribbean International today revealed the 2023 seasonal Caribbean cruises that will make waves with a summer of firsts. Wonder of the Seas , debuting in March 2022, headlines the lineup with its first U.S. summer from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida. The new, innovative ship will be joined by the amplified Mariner of the Seas, while Harmony of the Seas calls Miami its summer home for the first time. The bold lineup is rounded out by the first Oasis Class summer in Galveston, Texas, with Allure of the Seas slated for a full season at the cruise line’s new, $125 million terminal. Summer 2023 Caribbean cruises are now open , with more Caribbean getaways to be revealed early next year.
Families and travelers of all ages can have their pick of short, 5-night cruises and 7- to 8-night sailings that feature idyllic destinations in Bermuda and the Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean. The vibrant, tropical places they visit from April through October 2023 include Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao ( ABC islands ), Puerto Rico , Mexico, St. Kitts and Royal Caribbean’s private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas .
Whichever itinerary beckons travelers, a day of thrill and chill on Perfect Day at CocoCay will be among the highlights on most sailings from Florida. The cruise line’s top-rated destination in the Caribbean welcomes guests to create their perfect day with 13 heart-pumping waterslides at Thrill Waterpark, including the tallest waterslide in North America ; sights from the highest vantage point in The Bahamas on helium balloon Up, Up & Away ; the first floating cabanas, a dedicated restaurant and infinity pool at Coco Beach Club ; and more across dining, relaxation and adventure.
The matchup of award-winning ships and array of itineraries makes for exhilarating thrills from ship to shore. On Oasis Class ships Wonder , Allure and Harmony, adventures await in Royal Caribbean’s distinct signature neighborhoods. There are all-time favorites like the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea, and more than 20 different restaurants, bars and lounges, plus all-new highlights on Wonder , such as the Suite Neighborhood and the area’s dedicated sun deck. The amplified Mariner brings to life a combination of experiences for guests to seamlessly transition from a day at the pool to a night out. The lineup on board features a Caribbean-inspired and resort-style pool deck, a trio of high-speed waterslides known as The Perfect Storm, The Bamboo Room, a tiki-chic lounge; and more.
Itinerary Highlights
- Allure of the Seas – Cruising from: Galveston Vacationers have the Lone Star State’s biggest summer ever on the horizon when Allure becomes the first Oasis Class ship to call Galveston home for the season. Just in time for summer family vacations, Royal Caribbean has extended Allure’s big Texas debut in winter 2022-2023 and opened a lineup of 7-night Western Caribbean cruises. Travelers can set their sights on more ways and time to get away to the tropics, including destinations like Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico ; and Roatan, Honduras. Allure will continue to set sail from Royal Caribbean’s new, $125 million terminal, which opens its doors in October 2022. The 161,334-square-foot and LEED-certified terminal, built in partnership with Galveston Wharves, will make way for Galveston to welcome the cruise line’s globally renowned Oasis Class – the world’s largest cruise ships – for the first time.
- Wonder of the Seas – Cruising from: Port Canaveral Following the world’s largest cruise ship’s debut in 2022, the cruise line keeps the good times rolling for vacationers. Wonder will sail its first summer in the U.S. from Port Canaveral, extending its newly announced 2022 winter season that starts in November. The adventure to be found in the new, innovative ship’s eight action-packed neighborhoods, including an Oasis Class first – the Suite Neighborhood – extends to the destinations in store on the 7-night Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises . Highlights include Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas ; Cozumel ; and Perfect Day at CocoCay .
- Harmony of the Seas – Cruising from: Miami The cruise capital of the world will be Harmony’s summer homeport for the first time. An Oasis Class favorite, perfect for families and travelers of every age, Harmony will set sail on 7-night cruises to the sun-soaked shores of the Western and Eastern Caribbean . Natural sights and adventures will be at every destination, which include Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis; Charlotte Amalie; Oranjestad, Aruba; Costa Maya; and Perfect Day at CocoCay .
- Mariner of the Seas – Cruising from: Port Canaveral Returning to Port Canaveral for the third consecutive summer, the amplified Mariner sets course to offer vacationers varying ways to get away to the Caribbean. With their choice of short and longer itineraries of 5, 7 and 8 nights to Bermuda , and the Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean , travelers can visit stunning destinations across the board, such as the Dominican Republic , Aruba, Curacao and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands . And on all 8-night Bermuda and Perfect Day at CocoCay cruises, there are two nights in Bermuda

Walk through the pastel-hued Spanish colonial architecture in Old Havana for a glimpse into the region's past, or turn the tiller toward The Bahamas to snorkel through the turquoise waters off the coast of Nassau. SANDY TOES AND SUNNY SKIES
Barrier reefs, rainforests and mountain peaks come together to create your ultimate summer cruise adventures.
SOAK ON THE SHORE
There are countless things to do on, under and near the water on summer cruises. Soak up the sun on the pink beaches of Kings Wharf in Bermuda on an August cruise. Swim with stingrays and dolphins, then watch the kids as they conquer the largest waterslide in North America at Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. Or go on a family kayaking tour along Dunn's River in Falmouth, Jamaica. If you're looking for an underwater expedition, take off on a scuba adventure through Belize's Great Blue Hole, a sinkhole so large it can be seen from space.
PEAKS AND VALLEYS
Breathe in the energy of the jungle as you trek through ancient forests and hidden mountain trails. Wander through the ancient ruins of Kohunlich in Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico, a site first settled in 200 BC. Meet howler monkeys as you trek through El Yunque National Park near San Juan, Puerto Rico . If you need to cool down, sneak underneath the powerful waterfalls of Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Or head north and march along the massive ice walls of Mendenhall Glacier during Alaska's summer months .
THE HEART OF LOCAL LIFE
Visit West End in Roatan, Honduras, to get a taste of everyday village life. Or venture to Ketchikan, Alaska , on a July cruise, home of the world's largest collection of totem poles, for a glimpse of native culture. Hop on an Alaska summer cruise and see the spruce-lined, mountainous landscape whir by from a new perspective. Don't miss our most adventurous summer cruise deals that you and the whole family can enjoy.
FAMILY FUN IN THE SUN
The best summer cruise destinations give you plenty of space and time to soak in your next adventure. Enjoy long, warm days and clear blue skies.
At the heart of every Bahamas vacation are pristine beaches of powdery, white sand matched with vibrant coral gardens. Explore the Lucayan National Park on Grand Bahama Island. Swim among dolphins and shipwrecks in Bimini. Or unwind on the beaches of the private, eco-certified island: Perfect Day at CocoCay* - the ultimate summer cruise destination the whole family can enjoy. A Bahamas cruise is all about the good life.
TASTE, SEE, EXPERIENCE
While you'll find delicious delights like tacos and carne asada — the local style of grilled, sliced beef — in any taqueria in Mexico, you're bound to discover other breathtaking elements of this lush region as well. Cruise to Cozumel for excellent diving at the Chankanaab eco-park, home to friendly turtles, dolphins and manatees. Next, stop off at Puerto Costa Maya to see ancient Mayan ruins , and live the wild life among roaming jaguars at the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve.
SEARCH FOR CULTURAL GEMS
San Juan, Puerto Rico 's 500-year-old capital, is destined to charm you with colorful colonial-style buildings, old-world history and incredible local delicacies. Head to the San Juan National Historic Site to visit Castillo San Cristobal and Castillo San Felipe del Morro, two 16th-century forts that once protected the town from Dutch pirates. Or take a stroll to Teatro Tapia to see a local play on one of the oldest free-standing stages that is still running today.
AN EXPEDITION ALL YOUR OWN
Whether you're learning regional customs on a cultural exploration or having a thrill-packed adventure through tropical destinations, you'll find something for the whole family while traveling on the best summer cruises.
CULTURE FROM A LOCAL LOOKOUT
Traveling for pleasure is fun, but traveling for knowledge is a privilege. Global summer destinations will give you a taste of diverse cultures and customs. Venture to Roatan, Honduras , to meet the multi-faceted Garifuna peoples at the annual Garifuna Festival, where their Afro-Caribbean heritage remains strong. Explore the ancient San Gervasio Mayan ruins in Cozumel, Mexico , which date back to 300 AD. Or set your sights northward to Ketchikan, Alaska, home to three tribes of Northwest Coast Native Americans.
FILLED WITH THRILLS
If you're looking to soak up the sun and ride some of the tallest waterslides in North America, have a Perfect Day in CocoCay*, an entire island in The Bahamas dedicated to lounging, sun bathing and splashing in turquoise waters. To immerse yourself in Bahamian culture, learn to play the traditional Goombay drum on the Grand Bahama Island while the Junkanoo parade — a brightly colored festival of traditional costumes and music — floats by. Then, cruise to Belize for epic forest zip-line adventures and gentle river tubing through limestone caves.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Beach It Up With the Whole Family
Booking a tour with Royal Caribbean Cruises means you can enjoy your day worry-free. Check out the excursion offerings for your destination early on to ensure you know all the details for your family snorkeling, scuba diving or hiking adventure. No matter how you choose to embrace the local landscape, be sure to bring plenty of food and water to stay fueled for exploration. Pack bottled water, as the tap water in some Caribbean destinations is not potable. Dried fruit is a great option for calories on the go.
If you want to swim with dolphins, make sure you book an encounter with a recognized institution. "Wild" dolphin encounters can be dangerous, as the animals are not trained to interact with humans. If you'd like to see dolphins in the wild, book a sailing yacht tour to be safe and animal-friendly.

Just Released: New Summer 2023 Sailings
The 6 best 2023 cruise itineraries to book right now
How does a cruise to Arabia sound? Or what about the longest U.S. river cruise ever to set sail? With ships traveling all over the globe, it can be difficult to choose the destination that's right for you, especially when there are so many bucket list-worthy options.
That's why I've rounded up some of 2023's most exciting itineraries. From interesting new routes to tried-and-true ones that now have new ships, this list will prime your sense of wanderlust for both far-flung destinations and places close to home as we head into the new year. Prepare to be inspired.
Note: All prices listed are per person, based on double occupancy, unless otherwise noted. Fares do not include taxes and fees.

Japan on Ponant's Le Soleal
After nearly three years of shutdowns and restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Japan finally reopened to travelers in November 2022. That includes cruise passengers, and several lines — including Holland America Line and Celebrity Cruises (which is offering special "Spice Route" voyages that include Japan) — are returning.
However, the most exciting Japan itineraries I've spotted for 2023 are a couple of routes offered by Ponant 's Le Soleal. Not only is the line the first expedition ship to take passengers to Japan's southern islands, but its itineraries are also Japan-focused routes that don't include other countries like the ones offered by Holland America and Celebrity.
Details: The first route is an eight-day voyage, March 24-31, 2023, offering visits to traditional villages of the Okinawa archipelago and the Ryukyu Islands, as well as Ishigaki and Kume. Prices start at $6,000 per person for an ocean-view cabin.
The second route is an eight-day sailing from Osaka to Fukuoka, May 15-22, 2023, taking passengers to stops in the Seto Inland Sea, the oldest sea route in Japan. Fares start from $7,310 per person for an ocean-view room. More information on Ponant's Asia voyages can be found on the line's website .
West Africa on Hurtigruten's Spitsbergen
In a first for Hurtigruten , the line is offering a selection of sailings around the west coast of Africa, including the islands of Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau's Bissagos Islands, which are made up of more than 80 beachy islands and islets, only about 20 of which are populated year-round.
Cape Verde voyages are rare, making this ideal for anyone wishing to check the country off their bucket list. Plus, with Hurtigruten's rapid expansion beyond its traditional Norway offerings and into expedition cruising, you can be one of the first to try out this first-for-the-line itinerary, which will be available four times in late 2023 (and into early 2024), departing from Dakar, Senegal.
Details: These 13-day sailings on Hurtigruten's Spitsbergen depart from Dakar in November and December 2023 and January 2024. Prices start at $5,974 per person for an inside cabin. More information can be found on Hurtigruten Expeditions' website .
Ohio and Mississippi Rivers on American Queen Voyages' American Countess
It's no secret that American Queen Voyages has been sailing U.S. rivers for years. But what makes this particular itinerary special is that it will be the line's longest ever. The 23-day cruises , which include travel on both the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers, will be offered on the line's newest ship, the 245-passenger American Countess .
The vessel will feature stops in some of America's most notable small towns, including La Crosse, Wisconsin; Dubuque, Bettendorf and Burlington, Iowa; Hannibal, St. Louis, Kimmswick and Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Paducah, Henderson, Owensboro, Brandenburg, Louisville and Maysville, Kentucky; Madison, Indiana; Point Pleasant, West Virginia; and Cincinnati and Marietta, Ohio.
Details: The first voyage is set to begin in Red Wing, Minnesota (near Minneapolis), on July 24, 2023, and end in Pittsburgh on Aug. 15, 2023. The reverse itinerary will begin on Aug. 15, 2023, when the ship reaches Pittsburgh. Prices start from $10,599 per person for an inside cabin. You can find more details on the line's website .
The Middle East on Windstar's Star Legend
If you're looking for a cruise destination that's a bit more far-flung, Windstar Cruises is offering Red Sea and Persian Gulf sailings in the Middle East — a first for the line, which will sail its newly stretched Star Legend in the region, beginning in fall 2023.
The line will offer four different itineraries, but my favorite is the 10-day Persian Gulf option from Dubai to Muscat, Oman, which includes calls on places like Ras Al-Khaimah and Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates and Khasab, Oman. The ship will also visit the UAE's island of Sir Bani Yas, which is known for nature and wildlife conservation. The sailings include overnights in Doha and Abu Dhabi, too.
Details: This itinerary is offered 11 times, beginning in November 2023 and running into early 2024. Fares start from $3,499 per person for ocean-view accommodations.
Caribbean and Bahamas on MSC Meraviglia and Carnival Venezia from NYC
Although Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries aren't a new thing from New York, two cruise lines will have a new presence there starting in 2023: Carnival Cruise Line with Carnival Venezia, which will begin sailing from Manhattan in June, and MSC Cruises with MSC Meraviglia, which will be based at Brooklyn's Red Hook terminal beginning in April.
The itineraries are fairly standard at first glance, but what's key here is that, for the first time, the lines' private islands — in this case, Carnival's Half Moon Cay and MSC's Ocean Cay Marine Reserve — will be accessible via sailings traveling round-trip from New York.
Details: Between April and December 2023, MSC Meraviglia is offering 11 seven-night sailings calling on Port Canaveral (near Orlando), and Nassau and Ocean Cay Marine Reserve, both in the Bahamas. Prices start from $399 per person for an inside cabin. More info can be found on the MSC Cruises website .
From June through December, Carnival Venezia will sail one eight-day Bahamas voyage that includes Nassau, Freeport and Half Moon Cay, with prices starting from $484 per person for an inside cabin. During that time, the vessel is also scheduled to run five eight-day Eastern Caribbean cruises calling on Amber Cove, Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay, with fares starting at $684 per person for an inside cabin. For additional details, visit the Carnival website .
Australia/New Zealand on Disney Wonder and Virgin Voyages' Resilient Lady
With Australia and New Zealand finally picking up steam again post-shutdown, it's not surprising that some cruise lines are sending ships to the region for the first time in 2023. Beginning in November, Disney Cruise Line 's Disney Wonder will sail 14 two- to six-night voyages from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne — calling on places like Hobart and Eden in Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; and Noumea, New Caledonia — through the end of the year, offering Disney fans another option in terms of destination.
Plus, starting in December 2023, Virgin Voyages ' brand-new Resilient Lady will offer five two- to 14-night sailings from Melbourne, providing locals with a more modern ship. (It's rare for the Australian market to see brand-new vessels.) Voyages include stops in Hobart, Burnie or both Tasmanian ports. On the two-week sailing, ports also include Sydney, as well as Picton, Napier, Tauranga and Auckland in New Zealand.
Details: Disney Wonder's per-person fares for inside cabins start at $946 for two nights, $1,604 for three nights, $2,000 for four nights, $2,118 for five nights and $4,078 for six nights. For more information, visit the Disney Cruise Line website .
Virgin Voyages' per-person prices for interior accommodations start from $245 for two nights, $613 for five nights, $753 for six nights and $2,240 for 14 nights. Check out the Virgin Voyages website for more details on these cruises.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Summer 2023 Itineraries (May – September) – Disney Dream Heading to Europe
Disney Cruise Line released their Summer 2023 itineraries today for the fleet. The major news in today’s itinerary announcement is the redeployment of the Disney Dream to Europe. The Disney Wonder which continues to remain on the West Coast will spend the summer in Alaska. The Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish remain at Port Canaveral offering Caribbean and Bahamian cruises. The Disney Magic, will offer sailings from Miami and San Juan.
Disney Cruise Line is still loading the sailings so this remains a work in progress and will be updated multiple times today.
Today’s release extends the available sail dates through the summer months of 2023 giving guests options for their future cruise credits and plan vacations more than one year out, as well as take advantage of opening day pricing for some of the new itineraries.
There is a change in the tiered booking cadence. While Summer 2023 dates were announced today, general booking will not open until Monday May 9th . The new spread out tiered booking period will begin Monday May 2nd for Castaway Club Members and some others.
- Monday May 2nd – Platinum Members, Golden Oak Club Members and Club 33 Members
- Tuesday May 3rd – Gold Castaway Club members
- Thursday May 5th – Silver Members, Disney Vacation Club Members and Adventures by Disney Insiders
- Monday May 9th, first time cruisers will be able to book.
If you’re an existing Castaway Club member, simply log in to your account now to verify your Castaway Club status, so you’ll be all set to book on your designated date. Alternatively, you can call (800) 388-4513 starting at 8:00 AM Eastern Time or contact your travel agent.
Castaway Club members can book online beginning Monday! The only caveat is that this is for new bookings only as the website is still not set up to move a placeholder to a new booking. Those types of bookings will still require a phone call.
The following bears repeating, please do NOT try calling today to book; this will just clog up the phone lines and bog down the reservation cast members. There may be people attempting to book an available cruise vacation today.
A look at opening day prices for the Summer 2023 sailings .
For those looking for Fall 2023 dates, we anticipate the next release to occur sometime in the spring just before the summer season gets underway based on the historical itinerary release cycle .

I will be updating the website throughout the day as I load the sailings and upload the new itinerary maps. The best way to be alerted to updates is by following me on Twitter @TheDCLblog – I will tweet updates as I add the sailings to the website and update this article . At the very end, you will find Disney Cruise Line’s Summer 2023 Itinerary Announcement press release . The sailings have been added, and actual port orders have been verified for each sailing. Please let me know if you notice any incorrect port orders.
Please note, the port order may be different and will be adjusted once the full detailed itineraries are available to view on Disney Cruise Line’s website.

Plus, for the first time ever, families will have the opportunity to sail around the Mediterranean and British Isles on the Disney Dream during its first season in Europe.
“We are thrilled to have five ships at sea in summer 2023 with a wide array of destinations for families to enjoy,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president & general manager of Disney Cruise Line. “These Disney Cruise Line sailings will take families on summer adventures in ways that only Disney can do, delighting guests of all ages with dazzling entertainment, world-class dining, unique character encounters, the ease and indulgence of carefree days at sea and the uncompromising guest service that defines a Disney vacation.”
Bookings open to the public May 9, 2022. For more details, visit the Summer 2023 itineraries page of disneycruise.com.
Disney Dream Marks Inaugural Season in Europe For its first-ever summer season in Europe, the Disney Dream will call on a wide variety of destinations among the most treasured in the world. With sailings anywhere from four to 11 nights, the Disney Dream will sail from Barcelona and Rome to picturesque ports of call throughout the Mediterranean, including a first-ever seven-night sailing to the Greek Isles with stops in the ever-popular ports of Santorini and Mykonos.
Late summer/early fall departures of the Disney Dream from Southampton will feature cruises to a wealth of destinations including Spain, France, the British Isles, Norway and Iceland. New ports of call include the postcard-worthy La Rochelle, France and two new ports in Norway – Skjolden, home to a wealth of natural attractions, and Sandnes, a small city just outside the metropolis of Stavanger known for its outdoor activities.
Summer 2023 sailings to Alaska aboard Disney Wonder The breathtaking natural beauty of Alaska will combine with the magic of Disney on five-, seven- and nine-night sailings on the Disney Wonder from Vancouver, Canada. Beginning in May, cruisers will be invited to discover exciting ports like Ketchikan and Skagway, with their prehistoric glaciers, gold mining relics and spectacular land- and sea-life. Three Alaskan itineraries call at Icy Strait Point, home to a coastal rainforest, wilderness tours and – for thrill-seekers – ziplining above the treetops.
Tropical Escapes to the Bahamas and Caribbean from Florida Sun-splashed tropical isles throughout the Bahamas and Caribbean will await guests on three Disney Cruise Line ships from Florida in summer 2023.
For its first full summer of sailing, the Disney Wish will homeport in Port Canaveral near Orlando for a series of three- and four-night Bahamas cruises to Nassau and Disney’s private island oasis, Castaway Cay. The Disney Wish will feature exciting new additions including Disney’s first “Frozen”-themed theatrical dining experience and AquaMouse, a wild water adventure and first-ever Disney attraction at sea.
Port Canaveral will also be the departure point for the Disney Fantasy for sailings ranging in length from five to 10 nights. In addition to seven-night cruises to popular ports in the eastern and western Caribbean, guests will also be able to experience a five-night Bahamian sailing with back-to-back calls at Castaway Cay, a 10-night southern Caribbean itinerary to the islands of Aruba and Bonaire and an eight-night cruise featuring two days on the beautiful pink sand beaches of Bermuda.
The Disney Magic will make its summer home in Miami for an assortment of exciting destinations. Starting May 27, the Disney Magic will sail four-night Bahamas cruises and five-night western Caribbean voyages, followed by two seven-night sailings in July to the eastern and western Caribbean. Select summer voyages aboard the Disney Magic will include double days – for double the fun – at Castaway Cay.

Where can we find prices?
Starting prices are currently on DCL’s website. I am working on a opening day pricing summary.
Maybe the Disney Dream will be coming to New York CIty next fall in 2023
Oh my. I’m already stashing away money for the NYC to Orlando jaunt.
Any idea where the Magic will be between New Orleans & San Juan in April/May 2023?
Currently penciling in a dry dock.
I expect sky high prices for those long cruises in Europe. Scott, anything on your wish list ?
A classic ship is back in Florida! *happy dance*
Going to be real excited about this.
Great release, was hoping it was gonna be Fantasy going to Europe though- the revival of the NYC Horn?? Also, I wish they would throw some Caribbean sailings on Wish into the mix- would definitely book one of those if it was an option.
There is going to be a issue on July 9th, 2023, since both Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish are scheduled to be there at the same time according this release.
Also, will be an issue on September 29th, as both Disney Magic and Disney Fantasy are scheduled to be on Castaway Cay on that day.
Not going to be an issue once DCL publishes the actual port orders and I can make the necessary updates. This is why I mention under each ship’s summary: “Please note, the port order may be different due to fleet deployment and will be adjusted once the full detailed itineraries are available to view on Disney Cruise Line’s website.”
9/3/23 sailing using the The Eider Canal? Map suggests not.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Special Summer 2023 Sailings to Celebrate ‘Silver Anniversary’
by Jacqueline Logan , Public Relations Manager
On a warm summer day in July of 1998, the Disney Magic — the first Disney Cruise Line ship — embarked on its maiden voyage, introducing the world to a new kind of cruise vacation where families are immersed in Disney storytelling, dazzling entertainment and unparalleled hospitality. For 25 years, families and fans from around the world have created cherished memories onboard our ships while experiencing the magic of a Disney vacation at sea.
To commemorate Disney Cruise Line’s 25th anniversary, we’re thrilled to share that a new wave of special “Silver Anniversary at Sea” entertainment, merchandise and celebratory experiences will be featured during summer 2023 sailings onboard all five of our ships! New family entertainment and activities will culminate in shimmering evening experiences created exclusively for the anniversary celebration.
We are so excited to celebrate with you! On select sailings from May through September of 2023, below are four spectacular ways you can partake in Disney Cruise Line’s magical festivities.
- New Looks for Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie: Strike a pose with this iconic duo in their dazzling new ensembles. Their coordinated looks will feature swirling designs reminiscent of ocean waves and multi-toned fabric in the signature color of the celebration: Shimmering Seas.
- Brand-New Signature Song: Sing and dance along to a brand-new melody with the debut of a signature song created especially for the “Silver Anniversary at Sea.”
- Culinary Creations: Eat and drink your way through themed culinary delights, from fanciful desserts to inspired craft cocktails and beyond.
- Memories That Shimmer: Take a piece of the magic home with you with the new Shimmering Seas Collection, a special line of dedicated merchandise featuring our new signature color. Inspired by the magical glow of sunshine reflecting upon turquoise waters, the collection will include an assortment of apparel, accessories, drinkware, and more.
The anniversary of Disney Cruise Line also heralds the unveiling of a brand-new membership tier for Castaway Club, which recognizes returning Disney Cruise Line guests with exclusive rewards and perks. Honoring 25 years of Disney magic at sea, members will now earn the distinction of Pearl status after 25 Disney Cruise Line vacations. As the line’s biggest fans, Pearl members will unlock new at-home and onboard benefits, which will be announced in early 2023.
Bookings for summer 2023 cruises featuring the “Silver Anniversary at Sea” celebration are available now on disneycruise.com , and there are plenty of itineraries to choose from:
- Departing from Miami May 24 to Sept. 4, the Disney Magic will visit destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean, including Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
- The Disney Wonder will depart on Alaskan voyages from Vancouver, Canada May 15 to Sept. 11 with stops in Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and more.

Summer 2023 Disney Cruise Line Itineraries

There are sailings to popular ports of call in the Greek Isles, Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean. This post covers the destinations, followed by commentary on pricing, our recommended destinations, and why we’ll be booking on opening day instead of waiting for a deal.
Note that “opening day” booking for the general public will begin on May 9, 2022. (Do not call today–these itineraries cannot be booked yet by anyone.) Prior to that, there will be a staggered advance booking period beginning next Monday. Here’s the eligibility timeline:

- May 5, 2022 – Silver Castaway Club Members, Disney Vacation Club Members, Adventures by Disney Insiders
- May 9, 2022 – All Guests

When it comes to commentary, I don’t have a ton to offer that is unique to the Summer 2023 itineraries. Most of it would be rehashed from the last couple of years, even though I haven’t taken a cruise since late 2019. (Sarah has done a couple, but she’s not the one writing this.)
I know we definitely will be booking one of these, as we have a 50% off future cruise credit from one of our Disney Wish itineraries that was cancelled. Which cruise we choose is subject to, ahem, internal debate , but we’re both in agreement that “going big” makes sense given the size of the savings. Leading candidates as of right now are to the Greek Isles or Northern Europe; both have many ‘new to us’ destinations that are on our travel bucket lists.
If you’re looking for a recommendation, pretty much everyone who has done one will shower the Alaska itineraries with praise. To be sure, that’s one of the better trips we’ve taken. It’s also pretty approachable.
However, our all-time favorite cruise is the Norwegian Fjords itinerary–by a pretty wide margin. We cover the similarities and differences in Norway v. Alaska Cruises , but the bottom line is that for us, Norway was much better. Others we know who have done both give the edge to Alaska–you really can’t go wrong either way.
Much like Walt Disney World on discount drop day, Disney Cruise Line’s phones will be jammed and the online system will likely slow to a crawl at peak times. Please do not exacerbate this by calling on a day before you’re eligible; they won’t make an exception and let you cut the line. It’ll just waste everyone’s time, including yours.
It’s always a good idea to use an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to do the work for you, but especially for opening day bookings. For one thing, using them to book your cruise is a great way to save time and stress. For another, their services are free to you since they’re paid commission by DCL on the reservation.
Every year opening day price-points make waves on social media once they’re available to book for Platinum Castaway Club members, as prices always jump. This is not really a surprise at this point, but it’s nonetheless easy to be taken aback when first seeing each year’s prices…especially if you remember what prices were 5 years ago.
With that said, it’s worth noting that opening day stateroom rates are largely on the lower end of the historical pricing spectrum. As itineraries start to book up and stateroom inventory becomes more scarce, rates invariably increase. Pricing is demand-based, with cruises in recent years rarely decreasing in price–increases are far more common.
We’ve scored some good deals on Disney Cruise Line over the years (and cover how you can do the same in our How to Save Money on Disney Cruise Line Sailings post), but have had less luck since 2018 (with the exception of last fall and winter, when Sarah scored some exceptional deals).
With the sailings out of Florida–especially Port Canaveral–the odds of prices dropping are stacked against you. Normally, there’s a high probability that opening day prices are the cheapest that those sailings will ever be. Of course, this is assuming pent-up demand and the global economy remain strong heading into 2023, and that’s hardly a sure thing at this point.
Ultimately, it’ll be interesting to see what happens with Disney Cruise Line, just like all other aspects of travel. With that 50% future cruise credit, we’ll likely hedge our bets and book as soon as we’re eligible on May 2 (assuming we can settle on an itinerary between now and then).
If we didn’t have that, I think we actually might wait this time. Not because I necessarily think a recession is on the horizon, but because I think that–at minimum–the bulk of pent-up demand, excess household savings, stimulus money, and so forth will largely be exhausted by next summer. Even if that’s correct, it doesn’t mean the return of deep discounts, but it could spell some relief from the high prices of travel. Or perhaps all of that is simply wishful thinking on my part, and this summer’s stratospheric pricing will be even worse in Summer 2023.

Wonder if other readers feel conflicted because of the environmental effects of cruises? I love the idea of visiting a lot of cities from my boat but i can’t seem to deal with the bad parts of cruising….

Finally taking our 2020 Mediterranean cruise this June, fingers crossed. We’ve done the Caribbean and one one-way Mediterranean cruise before but this one going to the Greek isles is our dream. We are sooo excited, the additional cruise credit for cancellations helps, prices have gone up so much, it’s hard to justify a future one, even though I will say the service and food quality are outstanding. But got to try the Wish!
I am cruising Norway in September, based off your post LAST year when the summer itineraries came out! We ultimately went with a different cruise line because of the price difference, but I still have you to thank! I’m getting so excited!
Here’s another vote for Norway! My wife and I did the Disney Norway itinerary six years ago and we’ve generally regarded it as the best trip we’ve ever taken.

Travel + Leisure hand-selected 16 different types of on-the-water adventures to consider in the year ahead.
Paul Brady is the news director at Travel + Leisure and the brand's expert on cruise travel. He has been covering the travel industry for more than 15 years for outlets including Condé Nast Traveler , Skift , and The Huffington Post .

Cruising is in the midst of an epic comeback . Travelers are turning to trusted lines to help minimize the hassles of country hopping and maximize relaxation time in each destination. With 2023 poised to be a big year for both new and frequent cruisers — thanks in part to an abundance of new ships and itineraries — Travel + Leisure has hand-selected 16 different types of adventures to consider in the year ahead.
The Nile on Viking Osiris
Alastair Miller/Courtesy of Viking
Viking Osiris is the line’s newest on the Nile, with just 41 suites and staterooms, a pool deck, and cool Scandinavian design. The ship sails between Aswan and Luxor, with pre- and post-sail touring in Cairo included with the 12-day itineraries.
Alaska on Ocean Victory
The Alaska trips on Ocean Victory , a fuel-efficient, 93-cabin ship from American Queen Voyages, come with the opportunity to kayak past glaciers and spot bald eagles and grizzlies. The vessel, which first debuted in 2021, represents an evolution in ship design for American Queen, with its cutting-edge X-Bow design (which helps reduce fuel burn) and chic suites, including many with private verandas.
The Galápagos Islands on Quasar Expeditions’ Evolution
In June, Quasar Expeditions is offering a Galápagos cruise on the 32-passenger Evolution for children with autism spectrum disorder, hosted by an expert in supporting families with special needs. The trip, which departs June 24, is a seven-night expedition that takes in many of the most notable sites on the islands, with programming specially tailored for both kids and adults.
Cruising Antarctica on Silver Cloud or Silver Endeavour
Adrian Wolodarczyk/Courtesy of Silversea
Silversea gives Antarctica travelers the option to skip two days of sailing the often-rocky Drake Passage. Instead, they can fly in comfort over the waters separating South America from the continent, then hop aboard the 127-suite Silver Cloud and 100-suite Silver Endeavour for trips along the frosty coastline.
The Caribbean, South Pacific, and Australia With Windstar Cruises
Windstar has a series of 2023 itineraries on the 156-cabin Star Pride and 171-suite Wind Surf that hit yachty Caribbean ports like Jost Van Dyke, in the British Virgin Islands, and Anguilla. The small-ship line, which is known for both its sleek “Star Plus Class” ships and its classic vessels with their dramatic sails, also has an array of itineraries along the coast of Australia and in the South Pacific.
Cold-weather Cruises on Le Commandant Charcot
A game changer in lowering emissions, Ponant’s brand-new hybrid-electric Le Commandant Charcot can operate on less-carbon-intensive battery power and liquefied natural gas and has room for 245 guests. The game-changing ship, which has already hosted eclipse watchers on a trip to Antarctica and sailed to the geographic North Pole, also offers adventures in places such as Iceland and Svalbard.
Cruises Closer to Home With American Queen Voyages
Michel Verdure/Courtesy of American Queen Voyages
American Queen Voyages will offer the longest trips in the line’s history in 2023, with two 23-day river itineraries on the Mississippi and Ohio aboard the 123-stateroom American Countess . “The ship will sail more than 1,700 miles from Minnesota down the Ohio River and Upper Mississippi River , calling on more ports and offering more guided tours than ever before,” as T+L reported in August .
The South Pacific on Paul Gauguin
Just refurbished, the 165-cabin Paul Gauguin will be exploring the Pacific in 2023, with trips to the Cook Islands, Fiji, the Marquesas, and the Society Islands. The single-vessel brand was voted the very best small-ship cruise line in the World’s Best Awards 2022 , as T+L readers gave particularly high marks to the Paul Gauguin ’s on-board staff.
Mystery Cruising With Uniworld
Courtesy of Uniworld
Next year, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will offer two nine-night “mystery cruises ,” with the European destinations revealed only as guests depart: similar trips in 2022 sold out. Travelers on the June 2023 trip will meet in Amsterdam, while the July 2023 sailing rendezvous in Nice, France — from there, the itinerary is anybody’s guess.
Expedition Cruising With Seabourn
Courtesy of Seabourn
Seabourn Venture , the luxury line’s first 132-suite expedition ship, launched in late summer with itineraries in northern Europe; trips in Japan, the South Pacific, and Antarctica are on tap for 2023. Seabourn Pursuit , which will be a sibling ship to Venture, is scheduled to arrive in 2023, the second in Seabourn’s growing expedition fleet.
Seeing Europe’s Gems by Small Ship
Slated to launch in the spring, the 228-passenger Scenic Eclipse II will visit ports from Dublin to Lisbon, as well as both polar regions, in 2023 and 2024. The innovative vessel, which is similar in design to Scenic Eclipse , will have luxurious suites complete with butler service and all sorts of extras, including helicopters (plural) and a submarine.
Visiting Wild Places With Fewer Impacts
Aurora Expeditions, whose newest vessel is the 71-cabin Sylvia Earle , guarantees that all operations are carbon neutral, pledging to offset all emissions. The newly launched ship, with its fuel-saving X-Bow design, doesn’t skimp on expedition necessities: guests on Antarctica expeditions can explore by Zodiac or snowshoe and even, when conditions allow, go scuba diving in polar waters or camping on the ice.
Solo Cruising With a New Line
Upstart cruise line Atlas Ocean Voyages offers all-inclusive fares on its two 98-suite vessels, and, in a departure from industry norms, the brand doesn’t charge solo travelers a single supplement. The line’s second ship, World Traveller , launched in November 2022 . It will sail nine-, 10-, 11-, and 12-night round-trips from Ushuaia, Argentina, to Antarctica through March 2023 before heading to the Mediterranean to hit Spain, France, and Portugal.
The Galápagos Islands on Celebrity Flora
Michel Verdure/Courtesy of Celebrity Cruises
Another ship that sails the Galápagos, the Celebrity Flora , has 50 suites, many with large verandas, plus a stargazing deck and a fleet of comfortable tenders. Two itineraries are available, the first of which is a seven-night “northern loop” that visits the volcanic island of Santiago and has guests spotting red-footed Boobies on Genovesa Island, a place sometimes called Bird Island thanks to its famed animals. The line’s “outer loop” also includes plenty of wildlife watching, plus a stop at the less-frequented Daphne Island.
Doing Wine Country on Seadream II
SeaDream Yacht Club has two Wine Voyages in 2023, which include vineyard visits in Greece, Italy, and Spain and a winemaker-hosted dinner on the 112-guest Seadream II . The highly regarded intimate-ship line wins frequent accolades from T+L readers for its on-board service and well-appointed vessels.

12 Cheap Summer Cruises for 2023
Nothing says summer like hitting the beach and getting some sun and water. And what better way to get to the beach during the summer than with a cruise?
With a cruise, not only can you travel in style to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but you can also sample several different places while having your room, board, and entertainment taken care of on the ship.
The best news is that the cost of a cruise can be considerably cheaper than the cost of airfare and hotel at a Caribbean resort. Meanwhile, cruises are much less of a hassle to book than having to search and put together a trip on your own.
That said, there’s no doubt that the summer is one of the more expensive times to set sail. With kids out of school and vacations on everyone’s mind, higher demand leads to higher prices. The good news is there are still deals out there — including many cruises under $300 per person .
Below, we’ve rounded up a sampling of the cheapest summer cruises for 2023. But before listings those cruises, here are some pointers on finding cheap trips of your own during this time of year.
How to Find Cheap Summer Cruises
Searching for your own deal on a cruise, in addition to what we’ve found below? Here are some tips to keep in mind:
Sail Late in the Summer for the Best Fares As you’ll see below, the cheapest summer cruises are in August, and more specifically, late August. In general, the closer you can sail to September, the less you’ll pay for your cruise. And if you can wait until early September to take your summer cruise, you’ll get the best of both worlds — the cheapest prices while still having warm weather and water nearly everywhere in North America.
Why are cruises so much cheaper later in August? The late season sees a drop-off in demand for family vacations as many people have already done their travel for the season and are looking at the start of the back-to-school season.
Keep Trips Short for Lower Fares You’ll notice that cruises longer than five days aren’t heavily mentioned in our list below. Don’t think this means there aren’t deals available on longer trips. In fact, just like with shorter cruises there are some great deals — especially later in the summer season.
However, if you want to pay the absolutely lowest amount for a cruise, then it makes sense to stick with shorter trips. Sailings of 3-5 days can be found for less than $300, with even more options for under $500 per person. Longer trips, which mean more nights, more food, and more entertainment, are obviously more expensive on a total basis.
It Helps to Be Flexible With Ports There are summer cruise deals all around the country, as you’ll see below. But if you are closest to Florida, you’ll have an advantage of being able to sail from several different ports including Port Canaveral, Port Everglades, and Miami.
In a different part of the country? Most people have a port within a few hours drive, if not closer. However, if you are able to travel to other ports for better deals, then you stand the best chance of getting a cheap summer cruise.
Older Ships Usually Mean Lower Fares It’s not written in stone, but in general the lower-priced cruises will be on the older ships. Since there is often more demand for sailing on the newer ships, cruise lines can charge a premium on the cruises.
Older ships still give you a similar experience (although not quite the same) at a price that can be considerably less expensive if you’re hunting for a deal.
Search Across Multiple Websites at Once Head to the cruise line’s website and you’ll get the prices… for that cruise line. Instead, to find the best deals we like to use sites like AvoyaTravel.com or Orbitz . These sites search all the cruise lines at once, giving you a chance to find deals that you might not find on a cruise line’s website.
Cheap 2023 Summer Cruises
Note: Prices listed are per person for cruise fare only, in an interior cabin. Cruise lines typically charge double occupancy, plus there are taxes and port fees. Keep in mind that prices will vary and may not be the same as what’s listed below when you read this article.
4-Night Bahamas Cruise from Miami (MSC) Date: August 28, 2023 Price: $159 per person
MSC only departs a few ports including Miami and Port Canaveral, making it not as well-known as some other lines. However, it offers some of the least expensive fares that you will find. Case in point, this trip departs in August from Miami to Nassau, Ocean Cay (MSC’s private island), and Key West. All told, it comes in at just $159 per person or roughly $40 per night before taxes and fees.
4-Night Mexico Cruise from Long Beach (Carnival) Date: August 28, 2023 Price: $274 per person
As a rule of thumb, if you can find a trip for under $100 per night during the summer, then you’ve likely found a good deal. This trip costs just $70 per night if you take a late August departure . Sailing from Long Beach, the trip takes you to Mexico on a four-night journey aboard the Carnival Radiance. There are other dates available earlier in the summer that still come in under $100 per night, but this is the cheapest date we found.
4-Night Bahamas Cruise from Miami (Carnival) Date: August 28, 2023 Price: $204 per person
As we mentioned, sailing in late summer is key to finding low fares. Sailing from Miami is also helpful because with so many ships sailing from there, it’s easier to find deals. This trip leaves in the late summer from Miami and costs only $204 for four nights . That’s dirt-cheap. It leaves aboard the Carnival Conquest with stops in Key West and Cozumel, before returning home. If you’re looking for one last hurrah before the fall, this is among your cheapest options.
4-Night Caribbean Cruise from Miami (Carnival) Date: August 21, 2023 Price: $254 per person
How abundant are the deals from Miami in August? Just like above, this trip departs on the Carnival Conquest. The only difference is that it’s a little bit more expensive ( still just $254 ), leaves a few days earlier and heads to Half Moon Cay (Carnival’s island) and Nassau. The good news is that if this trip doesn’t fit your schedule, there are a number of options available, although they are a little more expensive.
5-Night Bahamas Cruise from Tampa (Royal Caribbean) Date: August 12, 2023 Price: $410 per person
No destination in The Bahamas is quite like Royal Caribbean’s private island, CocoCay. Complete with beach clubs, a water park, an enormous pool, and tons of open beaches, no other private island really compares. This trip can take you there with a great value.
Departing Tampa aboard Serenade of the Seas, the cruise takes you first to Key West (always a popular port) before heading over to CocoCay to spend the day . On either side of your stop there, you’ll have a day at sea to enjoy the ship.
All that is for just $410 for a five-day cruise, or about $80 per day.
5-Night Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral (Carnival) Date: August 28, 2023 Price: $304 per person
For a five-night cruise, this price of just over $300 per person comes out to about $60 in cruise fare per day. That’s a good deal if you can sail in the late summer. The cruise aboard Carnival Freedom departs Port Canaveral heading over to Amber Cove and then Grand Turk — two desirable destinations.
How good a deal is it? The same cruise during the peak of July costs $574, or nearly twice as much.
5-Night Caribbean Cruise from New Orleans (Carnival) Date: August 21, 2023 Price: $309 per person
So far, the bulk of the cruises we have covered have all been three and four-night trips. This cruise is a five-night departure from New Orleans aboard the Carnival Valor for just $309 per night . You’ll have stops in Cozumel and Progreso before heading back to the New Orleans. If you can’t sail on August 21, the trip runs regularly throughout the summer, although you should expect to pay a little more for taking your cruise during the height of the summer season.
4-Night Caribbean Cruise from Galveston (Royal Caribbean) Date: August 17, 2023 Price: $290 per person
You don’t have to sail from Florida to find cheap summer cruises. This trip aboard Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas leaves in mid-August and costs less than $300 per person . For that price you set sail for four nights, headed to Cozumel. On each side of the port day you’ll have a day at sea to hang out by the pool and enjoy the warm weather. If you can’t make this trip, there are many more throughout the season, but just know they will be more expensive.
4-Night Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral (Carnival) Date: August 21, 2023 Price: $284 per person
Port Canaveral — located about 45 minutes from Orlando — has quietly become one of the busiest cruise ports in America. Sail from there in late August on this cruise and you’ll pay under $300 per person. It’s a four-night trip aboard the Carnival Liberty, headed over to Nassau and the Princess Cays, along with some time at sea. Best of all, the price is only $284 in mid-August and you can sail for even cheaper later in the month.
7-Night Caribbean Cruise from Tampa (Royal Caribbean) Date: August 19, 2023 Price: $381 per person
It shouldn’t be a surprise that shorter cruises take up most spots on our list. That’s because the shorter the cruise, typically the lower the price. Still, we found this deal for a departure in mid-August that gives you a week-long cruise for under $400 per person.
Set sail from Tampa aboard Grandeur of the Seas for just $381 . During the trip you’ll head to Cozumel, Roatan, Belize City, and Costa Maya (Mexico) — all for less than $55 a night per person.
7-Night Bahamas Cruise from New York (MSC) Date: July 2, 2023 Price: $449 per person
One of the final cruises on our cheap summer cruise list is a 7-night trip aboard the MSC Meraviglia. This trip departs New York during early July — the peak of the cruise season in North America. From there, it heads to Port Canaveral, Nassau, and Ocean Cay. At just $449 per person, it’s among the cheapest week-long cruises that you’ll find .
7-Night Alaskan Cruise from Vancouver (Holland America) Date: June 7, 2023 Price: $429 per person
Think of summer cruising, and you likely picture the warm Caribbean. But summer is also the Alaskan cruising season. The best deals are the early (May) or late (September) part of the season, but we found this deal in June.

Royal Caribbean recruiting up to 10K workers in 2024 to meet record cruise demand
R oyal Caribbean is looking to recruit as many as 10,000 workers worldwide this year to staff its ships and private destinations as demand for ocean cruises hits fresh records.
The number of people taking cruises hit an all-time high in 2023, and with the surge in demand and larger vessels, labor needs are growing.
Tourism boards and port operators from around the world said Royal Caribbean — which already has a workforce of close to 100,000 — is looking to hire worldwide.
The company confirmed to Reuters that it’s anticipating hiring around 10,000 workers this year.
According to the company’s annual filing, its sea-based workforce last year — which comprises of staffers on its cruise ships — totaled about 88,700 employees, 6% lower than the year prior.
The giant’s land-based workforce, meanwhile — which is comprised primarily of port operations and corporate office roles — including at its private destinations consisted of approximately 9,500 full-time employees in 2023, up 17% from the year prior.
“The recruiting strategy follows the business strategy of moderate capacity growth,” a company spokesperson told Reuters.
The British Virgin Islands (BVI) in April was reportedly approached by Royal Caribbean in regards to recruitment and hiring, a request it hadn’t received in the past, said Natasha Chalwell, BVI Port Authority marketing director.
But the cruise giant isn’t only focused on the Caribbean: The company also approached West Africa’s Gambia Tourism Board in April with an interest in hiring more workers, a spokesperson said.
For reference, Royal Caribbean currently employs about 700 workers from the nation, which is the smallest on mainland Africa.
Royal Caribbean’s influx in hiring comes at a time when it’s adding three new ships to its fleet, the company rep added.
Earlier this year, the company debuted the world’s largest cruise ship, dubbed Icon of the Seas .
The $2 billion behemoth reportedly lived up to the over-the-top hype surrounding its launch, which included buzz that it spans 20 stories and boasts eight distinct neighborhoods.
Icon of the Seas can accommodate nearly 10,000 passengers and crew at full capacity, who are invited to enjoy a 17,000-square-foot on-board water park or book an upscale reservation at the 38-seat Empire Supper Club, an eight-course dinner complete with cocktail pairings and live jazz.
All the while, the gargantuan ship is sailing on week-long itinteraries from Miami to Caribbean destinations like Puerto Rico, St. Kitts and Nevis and Cozumel, Mexico, among others.
Come July, Utopia of the Seas is scheduled to sail every Friday and Monday from Port Canaveral, Fla., to Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
The forthcoming ship can accommodate 5,668 guests at capacity and offers 21 dining options, five pools, a zip line, ice-skating rink, basketball court and two rock-climbing walls.
Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas, meanwhile, is anticipated to set sail in the summer of 2025.
The company’s website touts the ship as having “over 40 ways to dine and drink,” plus “six record-breaking waterslides” and “seven splashy pools.”
Royal Caribbean said its bookings hit a record in the first quarter of 2024, boosting quarterly revenue to $3.73 billion, up 29%.
At the same time, the Miami-based company’s stock price has doubled over the past year to hit a new record.

City Lake Splash Pad and Richard’s Pool won’t open this summer in Boonville
BOONVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Boonville Mayor Charlie Wyatt has shared several updates, including news about upgrades to City Lake Splash Pad and Richard’s Pool.
He says they won’t open this summer.
Mayor Wyatt says they decided to bid out all the work together for the multi-million dollar project, which will save money.
As we reported, the pool and splash pad closed in July last summer because of mechanical issues.
[Previous: Richard Pool and Boonville Splash Pad closes for remainder of season]
There is good news, though.
Mayor Wyatt says there will be an additional splash pad at Richard’s Pool.
He say the plan also includes a dual water slide, four spaces to rent for parties, a walk in entrance into the pool, new restrooms, concession stand, and shaded areas.
The mayor says a new entrance into the pool off Highway 62 should help with traffic flow.
He says they also want to bury the over head utility lines in front of Richard’s Park, and add security cameras.
Mayor Wyatt says upgrade are also coming to City Lake and Brackenridge Parks.
They also include security cameras.
At Brackenridge Park, the mayor says they want to add new playground equipment, upgrade the basketball court, build additional sidewalks for walkers, build a shelter house, expand parking, and add restrooms.
At Boonville City Lake, they’ll also add parking spaces, get new playground equipment, and redo the Splash Park there.
