About Aerosmith
Celebrating their 50th anniversary, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members Aerosmith have sold more than 150 million albums around the world, produced genre-defining music videos such as "Amazing," "Crazy," "Janie's Got A Gun," "Livin' On The Edge," and "Love In An Elevator," and launched extravagant record-shattering global tours, most recently with their smash hit Las Vegas residency. The band has broken numerous boundaries, including becoming the first rock band with a massive commercially successful hip-hop collaboration with Run DMC on "Walk This Way" and the first hard rock band to appear during a Super Bowl Halftime Show with their 2001 performance, and in 1999, Aerosmith became the first band to have their own themed attraction at Disney World in Florida and later Paris with the launch of the Rock 'N' Roller coaster starring Aerosmith. For more information, visit Aerosmith.com .
About The Black Crowes
In 1990, when journalists were lamenting the death of rock, as cheesy pop and hair metal dominated the charts, Atlanta’s Black Crowes gave the genre a swift and much needed kick in the ass with Shake Your Money Maker . Fueled by singles “Jealous Again,” “Twice As Hard,” “She Talks To Angels,” and the break-through cover of Otis Redding’s “Hard To Handle,” the band immediately took the rock world by storm, topping Rolling Stone’s “Best New American Band Readers Poll” in late 1990. The Black Crowes went on to release eight studio and four live albums, selling in the tens of millions along the way; they sold out shows around the world; had legendary guitarist Jimmy Page join as a member; got kicked off a tour with ZZ Top for insulting the sponsor; got screwed by bad record deals; got married and divorced, fought amongst themselves and against the rest of the world. In other words, they’ve done everything a legendary rock group should do.

Aerosmith Peace Out: See the setlist for the iconic band's farewell tour
After 50 years of touring, Aerosmith is saying "No More No More" to the road with their Peace Out tour.
At Aerosmith's kickoff show Sept. 2 in Philadelphia , the band proved it was in peak form for this victory lap, which plays arenas in North America through January.
Steven Tyler's yowl – as well as his scarf-adorned mic stand – is well-preserved, while his fellow Toxic Twin, Joe Perry, is still serving sizzling blues-rock with ease.
While original drummer Joey Kramer is sitting out the band's final tour, Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton remain to add their handiwork on guitar and bass, respectively. John Douglas, Aerosmith's former drum tech, is filling Kramer's seat.
The band's two-hour, 18-song show is rife with '70s and '80s hits including "Love in an Elevator" and "Janie's Got a Gun." But no Aerosmith concert would be complete without standards "Dream On" and "Walk This Way," mainstays that are receiving one last hurrah.
Here is a look at the songs being performed on Aerosmith's Peace Out tour .
Aerosmith Peace Out tour setlist
- "Back in the Saddle"
- "Love in an Elevator"
- "Janie's Got a Gun"
- "Adam's Apple"
- "Livin' on the Edge"

- "Seasons of Wither"
- "Movin' Out"

Aerosmith’s ‘Peace Out’ tour leaves open Vegas residency
Aerosmith is playing 40 dates beginning in September. A return to Las Vegas remains a possibility.
Aerosmith is returning to the road this fall for its “Peace Out” tour. The series is at once the band’s sendoff, and a celebration of its 50-year history. The strategy could well lead the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band back to the Strip.
The tour opens Sept. 2 in Philadelphia, closing Jan. 26 in Montreal. The Black Crows are the series’ special guest.
Las Vegas is not among the cities listed. It’s clear the schedule leaves open the likelihood the legendary rock band will finish its stage career with a return to Dolby Live at Park MGM in 2024.
Asked if the band could be back as early as the spring of next year, manager Larry Rudolph responded, “I think you may be on to something.”
Tickets for “Peace Out” are on sale 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.com.
The band’s 2023 plans are ambitious, with 40 dates on the books. All members are in their 70s, Steven Tyler the oldest at 75, with a recent history of health illness that has forced him from the stage and personal appearances.
In December, Aerosmith canceled its final six dates of its rollicking “Deuces Are Wild” production at Dolby Live, citing Tyler’s unspecified health concerns. The band has not performed live since Nov. 29.
The upcoming dates also appear to mark the formal close of founding drummer Joey Kramer’s career with Aerosmith, whom he is credited with naming. Veteran drum tech and musician John Douglas had stepped in, who first took the stage in April 2019 .
The band’s comment: ‘“While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”
The band issued a YouTube video, set up as a “Breaking News” report, to announce the tour. Bill Burr is among the stars featured. And Aerosmith’s joint statement, “It’s not goodbye it’s ‘Peace Out!’ Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”

Rarely, if ever, have so many Las Vegas performers assembled for an off-Strip show.
Some despised him, but many in Las Vegas seemed eager to meet the former NFL star.
The single, available on all streaming services, comes a week before the famous jam band is set to start four sold-out performances as the famous Las Vegas venue.
Some Cirque shows exhausted their audience. Others were taken down because of incompatible, architectural ideas.
The decision ends a production that opened in June 2006, with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison — the widow of George Harrison — in attendance.
DJ Cassidy will bring “Pass The Mic Live!” to Bakkt Theater. Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh star in the production.
Brian Newman, an acclaimed musician, singer and arranger, is celebrating his fifth anniversary as a Strip resident headliner.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers return to The Venetian Theatre for seven shows in October.
Celine Dion could well be forecasting her return to live performance with her recent public appearances.
The pop superstar has rescheduled her postponed “Weekends With Adele” dates at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

‘It’s not goodbye it’s peace out!’: Aerosmith announce farewell tour
The legendary rock band, formed in 1970, will visit 40 stops in North America as part of their Peace Out tour
This fall, the elder statesmen of rock Aerosmith will launch one final tour, the band announced on Monday.
The Peace Out tour will begin on 2 September in Philadelphia and make 40 stops across North America, including Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Chicago, and a hometown show in Boston on New Year’s Eve. The farewell tour will wrap on 26 January in Montreal.
“It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT!” the band, formed in 1970, said in a statement. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”
The farewell tour will include original frontman Steven Tyler, lead guitarist Joe Perry, guitarist Brad Whitford and bassist Tom Hamilton. The group’s founding drummer, Joey Kramer, will not be in attendance.
“While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health,” the band said in a statement. “Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”
The tour announcement comes a few months after a woman sued Tyler for sexual assault when she was a teenager in the 1970s. Julia Misley, who had spoken out publicly for years about Tyler’s treatment of her as a teenager, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles thanks to a rule temporarily lifting the statute of limitations on sexual abuse suffered as children. Misley alleges sexual battery, sexual assault and intentional infliction of distress over a three-year period on the road with the rocker, including a coerced abortion.
Tyler has denied all allegations. Misley has since become an anti-abortion advocate in the US, citing her experience with Tyler in the context of anti-abortion campaigns, including an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News .
Aerosmith, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, has sold more than 150m albums during their more than 50-year career, won four Grammys, conducted 10 world tours and notched many Top 10 pop hits, including I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, Walk This Way, Dream On, Jaded and What It Takes. The band recently wrapped their Las Vegas residency, Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild, at Dolby Live at Park MGM, though a portion of the residency was canceled when Tyler voluntarily entered a rehabilitation program.
The Black Crowes will open for Aerosmith throughout the tour.

Joe Perry Shocked By Spotify Milestone
Besides hinting at a stellar year ahead for Aerosmith, Perry took a moment to honor their hit song “Dream On” reaching over 1 billion streams on Spotify . “That knocked us back on our heels, I’ll tell ya. I talked to Steven who was freaking out about writing that riff four years before he even joined the band. Who would have thought that?”

Aerosmith shares announcement after Steven Tyler’s devastating injury
Aerosmith is sharing new tour dates seven months after Steven Tyler’s vocal chords became severely injured.
As CBS News reports, following a show in 2023, Tyler’s vocal chords were left damaged and bleeding. He was put on 30 days of vocal rest, but things got worse before they got better.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Aerosmith (@aerosmith)
Further inspection revealed that he fractured his larynx .
Now, after months of recovery, Tyler is ready to get back on the stage. Aerosmith has announced its farewell tour is back on and will continue through 2025.
The “Peace Out” tour will begin in Pittsburgh on Sept. 20 and continue from there.
Tyler stepped away from the stage in September 2023 after the latest Aerosmith show left him severely injured.
According to a statement from Tyler’s team, while performing a concert in Long Island, he injured himself while singing.
Immediately after performing, Tyler flew to Boston to meet with his ear, nose and throat doctor, who X-rayed the singer’s vocal cords and found them to be “mangled,” TMZ reports.
It was believed Tyler’s vocal cords suffered the injury early on in his show, but he was able to finish his set. In fact, he hid it so well that audience members had no idea he was in pain, the outlet reports.
A source told TMZ, at the time that Tyler couldn’t even speak; only “squeaks” came out before putting him on vocal rest.
In his statement, Tyler wrote, “To all our fans, ‘I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days. I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.’”
While there is not much more information than that, a source told TMZ that “Steven’s an animal. There’s no stopping him.”
We will update this report as more information about Tyler and Aerosmith becomes available.
