Multi-platinum, Grammy® winners Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith are joining forces once again to co-bill their popular Christmas tour this upcoming holiday season, where they will be joined by special guest Michael Tait of the Newsboys. Presented by Balsam Hill ® , this iconic pair is set to kick off their combined holiday show on Nov. 26, in Memphis and travel to nine markets including the Fox Theatre on Thursday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the 2022-23 Fox Theatre Series presented by Comerica Bank.

The highly anticipated Christmas concert will feature selections spanning the artists’ expansive Christmas repertoires and combine the vast collection of critically acclaimed holiday albums between them. Both Grant and Smith’s recordings have become part of the backdrop of Christmas for families all over the world, and their holiday tour is one of the most heralded events of the season to the delight of fans at sold-out shows throughout North America.

“I look forward to every chance I have to share the stage with Michael.... especially at Christmas,” Grant says. “He is such a gifted musician and I enjoy creating these special memories with him on stage. This tour is one we both can’t wait to do every single year.”

“It’s no secret how much I love Christmas music,” Smith adds. “And performing some of these classic holiday songs with Amy makes it even more special. This time of year is made even better because we get to spend the Christmas season on stage together.”

Following the nine-city run with Grant, Smith will continue the Christmas tour with Tait for eight more dates, hitting Nashville, Omaha, Minneapolis and more. Meanwhile, Grant will return to Nashville for her Christmas at the Ryman residency with her husband Vince Gill. The 12-performance holiday concert run at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium will kick off on December 11.

“Having Michael Tait join us this year is something Amy and I are both looking forward to,” Smith says. “We’ve been friends for years, and to now have his voice and energy incorporated into this show is going to make it even more incredible! I look forward to continuing on to eight more cities with him to round out my own Christmas tour schedule.”

In support of their longstanding relationship with Compassion International, Grant and Smith will be bringing awareness to their child sponsorship experience at each show.

Smith and Grant will also be supporting Heartlight Ministries, a ministry and residential facility offering healing and hope for parents and struggling teens.

Smith  are reuniting to co-bill their popular Christmas tour this upcoming holiday season, where they will be joined by special guest Marc Martel . Incorporating a  full symphony orchestra  at each performance, this musical mastery is being presented by Balsam Hill ® ( www.BalsamHill.com ). Kicking-off November 30 in Cincinnati, OH the seven-city tour travels to Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Grand Rapids, MI and more.

The highly anticipated show will feature selections spanning the artists’ expansive Christmas repertoires and combine the vast collection of critically-acclaimed holiday albums between them. The dynamic duo last brought their Christmas tour on the road in 2017 to the delight of fans in sold-out shows throughout North America.

“Michael is one is the most gifted musicians I know.  His welcoming, easy going personality makes me look forward to every chance I have to share the stage with him…. especially at Christmas,” Grant says.

Smith states, “It’s no secret how much I love Christmas and playing Christmas music.  I’m so looking forward to being back out with Amy for the first half of the season – and when she returns home for her Christmas residency at the Ryman – I look forward to carrying on for nine more shows with my band and the amazing Marc Martel!”

Grant and Smith both agreed, “We are so happy to have Balsam Hill as our Tour Sponsor again. He will be accompanied by the full symphony orchestra on select dates as well. Meanwhile, Grant will return to Nashville for her Christmas at the Ryman residency with her husband Vince Gill. The 12-date holiday concert run will kick off on Dec. 11 at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium and close on Dec. 23. Balsam Hill and Fox Concerts Presents CHRISTMAS WITH AMY GRANT & MICHAEL W. SMITH, December 9

Multi-platinum, GRAMMY winners Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith are joining forces once again to co-bill their popular Christmas tour this upcoming holiday season, where they will be joined by special guest Michael Tait of the Newsboys. Presented by Balsam Hill , this iconic pair is set to kick off their combined holiday show on Nov. 26, in Memphis and travel to nine markets including a stop in St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Friday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Friday, July 29 at 10:00 a.m. CT.

The highly anticipated Christmas concert will feature selections spanning the artists' expansive Christmas repertoires and combine the vast collection of critically-acclaimed holiday albums between them. Both Grant and Smith's recordings have become part of the backdrop of Christmas for families all over the world, and their holiday tour is one of the most heralded events of the season to the delight of fans at sold-out shows throughout North America.

"I look forward to every chance I have to share the stage with Michael.... especially at Christmas," Grant says. "He is such a gifted musician and I enjoy creating these special memories with him on stage. This tour is one we both can't wait to do every single year."

"It's no secret how much I love Christmas music," Smith adds. "And performing some of these classic holiday songs with Amy makes it even more special. This time of year is made even better because we get to spend the Christmas season on stage together."

Following the nine-city run with Grant, Smith will continue the Christmas tour with Tait for eight more dates, hitting Nashville, Omaha, Minneapolis and more. Meanwhile, Grant will return to Nashville for her Christmas at the Ryman residency with her husband Vince Gill . The 12-performance holiday concert run at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium will kick off on Dec. 11.

"Having Michael Tait join us this year is something Amy and I are both looking forward to," Smith says. "We've been friends for years, and to now have his voice and energy incorporated into this show is going to make it even more incredible! I look forward to continuing on to eight more cities with him to round out my own Christmas tour schedule."

In support of their longstanding relationship with Compassion International, Grant and Smith will be bringing awareness to their child sponsorship experience at each show.

Smith and Grant will also be supporting Heartlight Ministries, a ministry and residential facility offering healing and hope for parents and struggling teens.

Amy Grant and Vince Gill’s “Christmas at the Ryman” Returns

One of Music City’s most treasured traditions will return in 2022 with Amy Grant and Vince Gill’s beloved “Christmas at the Ryman” residency. Tickets for the 12-concert run are set to go on sale Friday, March 11 at 10 a.m. local time, at Ryman.com and will once again feature matinee performances of the beloved show. Openers for all “Christmas at the Ryman” shows will be announced at a later date. GET TICKETS HERE .

In years past, the husband-and-wife duo have filled the show with Christmas favorites such as “Let It Snow,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Tennessee Christmas,” “O Holy Night” and “O Come All Ye Faithful.” Traditionally, the show closes with one of the most emotional moments of the night with a rendition of “‘Til the Season Comes ‘Round Again.”

“We’re so excited to be returning to the Ryman for one of our favorite holiday traditions,” shares Grant. “These shows have become a staple for us to celebrate a special time of year, and we can’t wait to share that experience with you all again.”

The shows have been serving as the ultimate holiday tradition for many years, with music fans from across the country and around the world flocking to the historic venue to take in the sweet sounds of two of Nashville’s most cherished performers.

The Ryman is celebrating its 130th anniversary throughout 2022 with more concerts and residencies than ever before, in addition to a special Ryman Community Day in May, an increase in pre-show and daytime events on PNC Plaza and new tour enhancements to be announced.

Vince Gill Remaining Solo Tour 2024

Touring with the Eagles would likely more than enough activity in one year for most people, but not in Vince Gill’s case. The singer, songwriter, and guitarist extraordinaire is squeezing in solo shows anywhere he can, with 28 newly announced gigs on the horizon from now through the end of 2020.

Gill's 28-date tour will include appearances in Virginia, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Florida, among other states. It will wrap in Kentucky on Nov. 18. The country star will travel the country with longtime bandmates, Glenn Worf on bass, Billy Thomas on drums/vocals, John Jarvis on keyboards, Jeff White on guitar/vocals, Tom Bukovac on guitar, Jedd Hughes on guitar/vocals, Wendy Moten on vocals and Paul Franklin on steel.

Not that that will be the end of Gill’s 2020 itinerary. The rest of November and December will largely be consumed by his Christmas at the Ryman residency with wife Amy Grant, an annual series of holiday shows at Music City’s Mother Church which will expand to 12 dates this year.
