We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. What is the best time to visit moscow.

Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. A C T   O N E  SCENE 1

Dr Silbergaus hosts a Christmas Eve party for his daughter Clara.  The guest of honour is Clara’s Godfather Drosselmeyer, arriving with gifts for the young girl, including a book entitled The Nutcracker & the Mouse King.  Clara becomes enthralled with the book as other guests arrive and admire the Christmas tree. Drosselmeyer appears as Santa Clause, with toys for the children and carnival masks for the adults.  Later, he surprises everyone by appearing as a magician.   He orders mechanical toys to be brought into the room.  At the wave of his wand, three puppets appear – a Nutcracker, a Doll, and a Mouse King.  

The Nutcracker starts dancing declaring he can gain victory over everyone.  Everybody joins in the dancing, except Clara who watches the Mouse King come to life and challenge the Nutcracker for the right to dance with the Doll. The Nutcracker and Mouse King are soon fighting, and Clara realises this is just what she read in her book.  The Doll throws a slipper at the fighting pair, who stop just as Drosselmeyer re-appears.  The guests congratulate him on a wonderful show.   Clara’s brother Fritz challenges the Nutcracker to a duel.   In the ensuing fight, the Nutcracker is wounded. Fritz is punished, and the toys are covered up.   Clara is comforted by her Godfather, who tells her that she will see more later that night.   

The guests depart, thanking the host Dr. Silbergaus.  Clara sits in her darkened room with the damaged Nutcracker.  She wonders what her Godfather had meant ….what surprises will be in store for her.   Soon she is awakened by a strange rattling noise. “Mice,” thinks Clara. But these are not ordinary mice they are dressed to celebrate Christmas.  She tries to escape when the clock strikes midnight, the mice are still and Clara sees her Godfather sitting on top of the clock. When she begs him for help Drosselmeyer takes her in his arms.   

As the Christmas tree begins to grow, the Nutcracker comes back to life. He leaps to his feet and calls upon his friends to help fight the mice.  An army of toy soldiers appear.  At the height of the battle, Clara hurls her slipper it at the Mouse King who is knocked down.   Clara faints.   As darkness returns, Drosselmeyer covers Clara and the Nutcracker with a shawl. Minutes later, Clara reawakens to find she has become a beautiful Princess and as her Godfather lifts the shawl, she sees the Nutcracker has turned into a handsome Prince.  She is overcome with joy and hugs her Godfather as the Prince beckons her to follow him.

As Clara sleeps, Drosselmeyer appears and transforms the room into a pine forest.  It starts to snow and Clara awakens and stares in amazement at the magical sight.

Drosselmeyer appears and completes the transformation – flowers appear everywhere.

Clara arrives with the Nutcracker Prince.   She is overjoyed but fails to notice that Drosselmeyer has transformed himself into a young man.  The Flower Fairy appears and hears the Nutcracker boast about his defeat of the Mouse King.   Drosselmeyer is upset by this and once again conjures up the Mouse King.  The fight resumes and the Nutcracker faces defeat.   Clara begs her Godfather to help and with a final wave of his wand a crown of flowers appears on the Mouse King’s head!   The Nutcracker thanks Drosselmeyer for his help and they both ask Clara to dance.  Amazed to see how similar they now look, Clara chooses to dance with the Nutcracker.   Her Godfather feels rejected and turns himself back into the Magician.    Dawn breaks and as the Kingdom of the Flowers fades, Clara finds herself back in the family living room.   She rushes to uncover the Nutcracker but under the clock she finds only a basket of flowers.

According to Forbes 2013, Moscow has been ranked as the 9th most expensive city in the world by Mercer and has one of the largest urban economies, being ranked as an alpha global city according to Globalization and World Cities Research Network. It is also one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in the world according to MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index. Moscow is the northernmost and the coldest megacity and metropolis on the Earth. It's home to Ostankino Tower, the tallest free-standing European structure; the Federation Tower, the tallest European skyscraper; and the Moscow International Business Center. 

Moscow is situated on Moskva River in the Central Federal District of European Russia, which makes it the most populated inland city in the world. Moscow city is well known for architecture, particularly its historic buildings like Saint Basil's Cathedral. With over 40% of its territory covered by greenery, it's one of the greenest capitals and major cities in Europe and the world. Moscow is the seat of power of the Russian Government, being the site of Moscow Kremlin, a medieval city-fortress that is now the residence of the President of Russia. Moscow Kremlin and Red Square are among the several World Heritage Sites in the city. 

Moscow has 2 passenger terminals, North River Terminal (Rechnoy vokzal) and South River Terminal. The regular ship routes and cruises along Moskva and Oka rivers are used mostly for entertainment. North River Terminal (1937-built) is currently the main hub for long-range routes along the river. There are 3 freight ports that serve Moscow.

In late-July 2021 the city announced plans to incorporate a fleet (unspecified number) of fully electric passenger ferries into its public transportation network from summer 2022, the goal being to reduce the dependence on cars.

• The boats are designed with length ~22 m (72 ft), passenger capacity 42, modern amenities (Wi-Fi, USB charging points, tables for working commuters), spaces for storing scooters and bicycles.
• Moscow Transport confirmed that two routes (with max daily capacity ~16,000 passengers) have already been mapped out.
• Passengers will be able to pay via bank cards, the city’s Troika card (smart card for travel by any public transportation) or biometric payment cards. Those with monthly/yearly public transit tickets will use the boats at no extra cost.
• The new electric ferry service is up to 5 times faster (in comparison to other city public transports) and ~2 times faster than by car.

4. What’s NOT included?

Personal items such as air fair, souvenirs etc. are not included. Alcohol Drinks, sodas, and cappuccino from the bar are also not included, nor are use of the beauty salon, barbershop, or spa services such as facials and massages. Internet and ship-to-shore calls are extra, as are photos taken by the ship’s photographer, medical attention, and shore excursions.

4. What does the VIP Pass Include?

  2 one hour open bar Artist & VIP’s Only Cocktail Parties,  and an early 20min entry to shows so you can save your seat of choice!

5. What to Wear?

No matter what the weather is like where you live in, expect it to be warm on the ADC cruise!  You can expect temperatures in the 80’s by day and 70’s by night.  Casual dress is fine, though many people on the ship will dress up a bit in the evenings.  You have casual (buffet style) and fancier dining options in the evening.  If you eat in the main dining room, think resort casual (no jeans, shorts, t-shirts, etc).   Make sure to visit our schedule and get ready for our THEME PARTIES! These are the best!  Please keep in mind that the dining room and some other areas such as the casino run the air conditioning a bit on the cool side, so you may want to have a jacket/wrap on hand in the evenings.

6. Dance Shoes

Most of the time we will be dancing on wood flooring; however, we will also use areas that are marble/smooth stone and treated wood (a bit tacky/slower) and of course our pool side parties…  You may want to bring more than one pair of dance shoes to make sure you are comfortable on each surface.

7. Special Dietary Requirements

Advise us of any special dietary requirement at the time of booking (at least two weeks prior to sailing). The Cruise Line – will do their best to meet your requirements. However, there may be limitations in their ability to do so.  Please reconfirm this request with your waiter at your first meal. Kosher meals are not available.

8. Seasickness

Seasickness is very rare on ships as large as this one. All cuise ships are equipped with stabilizers, which are designed to keep them smooth and steady in the water. If you should feel queasy, medicine is available from your cabin steward, the Information Desk or the doctor.

9. Medical Services

The ships’ infirmaries are equipped to treat minor non-emergency matters. A doctor is available to render services at a customary charge. Please be advised that, while at sea or in port, the availability of medical care may be limited or delayed. Doctors are independent contractors. If you should come down with a contagious disease, or even suspect a contagious disease, it’s compulsory that you report it to the ship’s doctor for the safety of everyone on board.

10. Covid protocols

We must abide by and follow the cruise line health requirements and protocols. Vaccination and testing are optional and  NOT required by Royal Caribbean as of 8/8/22. This is may be subject to change.

Fuera de EE.UU. ciudadanos necesitarán un pasaporte válido y posiblemente una visa.

2. ¿Hay un doctor a bordo?

Sí, un médico calificado y la enfermera del personal médico están de guardia las 24 horas.

3. ¿Qué incluye mi tarifa?

Nada se compara con el valor de ADC y la linea de crucero – vacaciones en crucero, porque nuestro precio bajo cubre prácticamente todo. Todas las fiestas, talleres de baile, tasas de servicio, todas las comidas, lugares exóticos, comidas deliciosas, entretenimiento deslumbrante, actividades llenas de diversión y mucho más. El hecho es que, en comparación con un simple congreso o festival un crucero de Aventura será la mejor las vacación del año . Reserva hoy! * Lo que no está incluido: los tickets de avion, recuerdos, etc, no están incluidos. Bebidas del alcohol, refrescos tales como sodas y cappuccino en el bar también no están incluidos, ni el uso del salón de belleza, barbería, o los servicios de spa como tratamientos faciales y masajes. Llamadas de Internet y de buque a tierra tienen un tarifa extra, así como las fotografías tomadas por el fotógrafo de la linea de crucero, la atención médica, y las excursiones en tierra.

4. ¿Qué incluye el pase VIP?

El pase VIP Incluye 2 fiestas privadas, los mejores asientos para los shows de baile, prioridad para el check in y la fila de servicio al cliente.

5. ¿Tipo de vestimenta?

No importa de como se el clima donde tu vives, siempre esperamos que sea cálido en  ADC Miami ! las temperaturas de dia en Miami son de 80 grados (F) día y de 70 por la noche en promedio. Vestimenta casual está bien, aunque mucha gente en el barco se visten un poco formal por las noches. La vestimenta informal es mas para el comedor o buffet durante el dia y  vestimenta formal para el restaurante del capitan por la noche. Si usted come en el comedor principal , piense resort informal (no jeans , shorts, camisetas, etc). Asegúrese de visitar a nuestro programa impreso y prepárate para nuestras fiestas tematicas ! Estas son los mejores! Por favor, tenga en cuenta que el comedor y algunas otras áreas, tales como el casino el aire acondicionado es un poco frío , por lo que es posible que desee tener una chaqueta o abrigo de mano por las noche.

6. ¿Necesito Zapatos de baile?

La mayoría de las veces vamos a estar bailando en piso de madera, sin embargo, también vamos a utilizar las áreas que son de mármol / piedra lisa, alfombra, y la madera tratada  y por supuesto nuestras fiestas junto a la piscina … si lo desea, puede traer más de un par de zapatos de baile para asegurarse de que usted se sienta cómodo en cada superficie. pero lo mas importante es estar comodo durante ese fin de semana. Zapatos de baile estaran a la venta en nuestra tienda para damas y caballeros al igual que camisetas, chaketas y muchas otras cosas con el logo de Aventura Dance Cruise.

7. ¿Requrerimientos especiales en tu dieta o alergias?

Háganos saber de cualquier necesidad dietética especial en el momento de la reservacion o (al menos dos semanas antes de la embarkacion )  . La linea de crucero – hará todo lo posible para satisfacer sus necesidades (vegetarianas, Vegan o otra) . Sin embargo , puede haber limitaciones en su capacidad para hacerlo. Por favor confirmar esta solicitud con su camarero en turno en su primera comida. Comidas kosher no están disponibles.

8. ¿Mareo a bordo del Aventura Dance Cruise?

El mareo es muy poco común en los barcos tan grandes como éste. Todos los barcos están equipados con estabilizadores , que están diseñados para mantenerlos suave y constante en el agua. Si usted se sentirse mareado, la medicina está disponible de su mayordomo de la cabina, el mostrador de información o el médico. Pero tambien te recomendamos que traigas algun medicamento que tu doctor te prescriba o otra alternativa de tu farmacia local.

9. ¿Servicios Médicos?

Las enfermerías de los barcos están equipadas para tratar asuntos menores y no de emergencias serias. Un médico está disponible para prestar sus servicios durante el todo el crusero. Por favor, tenga en cuenta que, mientras estemos el mar o en el puerto, la disponibilidad de atención médica puede ser limitada o retrasada. Los médicos son contratistas independientes. Si tienes que venir abajo con una enfermedad contagiosa, o incluso sospechan una enfermedad contagiosa, es obligatorio que se informe al médico abordo para la seguridad de todas las personas abordo.

10. ¿Que puedo llevar?

Puedes llevar simples bocadillos y en pequeñas cantidades, una botella de Vino de 750ML o champagne, un paquete de 12 sodas en lata solamente. Todo esto tiene que estar dentro de tu maleta. Puedes tambien traer un saca corcho pequeño para asi poder abrir tu botella de Vino.
