Fun, Delicious, and Educational

I loved this tour! We learned a lot about the history of Coer d'Alene - Tim was a very thorough tour guide! - and got to sample the key restaurants best plates. Fair warning: You will eat A LOT of food! I barely had room for Abi's Ice Cream at the end, but somehow I soldered through and found room ;) Overall this was a great, personable tour with lots of fun facts and stories (and booze!). Highly recommend!

I’m a local of area and was impressed with the amount of information I learned on this tour right in my own backyard. We sampled food at restaurants that I didn’t even know existed downtown and they were all very good. The owner, Tim was our guide. He is very personable and accommodating. I was expecting food samples but by the end of the tour I was pleasantly full and satisfied. Thank goodness for the walking to burn off a few of the calories. I recommend this tour and will most likely do it again myself. Thanks for the great experience Tim.

They do a great job giving inof about the city, and taking us to some interesting and great restaurants. Could be happier about the experience. I would reccomend it to anyoe, especially for people that have never been to the city

Wow, Coeur d'Alene's first food tour. We visited six different restaurants and tasted yummy food of all types. I don't know if I had a favorite tasting but the Bread Pudding served to us by Tina, the owner of The Roosevelt School Inn, was wonderful. On a warm afternoon we were able to sit on a shaded outdoor patio after touring the 112 year old school. It is now a Bed and Breakfast with 14+ rooms. The St. Louis Ribs and cheese covered Corn Wheel at the 315 Martinis and Tapas restaurant, located in the 1908 Greenbriar Inn, were delicious. The meat fell off the bones. And just when I thought i was full we ended up at Abi's Ice Cream for the most unique flavors I've ever seen all in one place. Cilantro? Avocado? Cardamom? Very unique and tasty. Even though I know the owners I would highly recommend this tour. I plan to bring my sister and family along on the tour when they come to town.

I have been a resident of Coeur d’Alene Idaho for 15 years but still wanted to visit downtown restaurants and learn more history about Coeur d’Alene. I have visited some of the restaurants before but had not tried what was served on the Blue Moose tour. The Polenta Tart at Seasons and the Bangers at Crown and Thistle were outstanding. I loved visiting the new and popular Crown and Thistle English Pub. TWO desserts?! We had bread pudding at The Roosevelt, while sitting on plush couches in a 1905 school building, so good! We also got to meet and talk with the owners who hosted us. To top it off the second dessert was strawberry rhubarb ice cream at Abi’s. I enjoyed learning things about the art and history of downtown in between visiting restaurants. I got to know and talk with other tour members and our guide, Tim, was knowledgeable, friendly with a good sense of humor. Overall the Blue Moose tour was a great way to experience CdA restaurants and I plan on returning to a couple of them very soon. I was pleasantly full at the end and truly enjoyed the tour.
