Day 1 arrive amsterdam, holland.

Day 2 AMSTERDAM

Enjoy sightseeing in Amsterdam with a Local Guide pointing out the city highlights, as you discover the city from water level on an included canal cruise. Then, watch the cutting and polishing of precious stones at a diamond center. Time in the afternoon to explore on your own or join an optional excursion.

Day 3 AMSTERDAM–RHINELAND, GERMANY

Traveling through Germany, choose an included scenic drive along the shores of the Rhine or, even more thrilling, the optional Rhine cruise with vistas of the Lorelei rock, hilltop castles, half-timbered wine villages, and terraced vineyards. Today’s Distance: 336 mi/ 540 km

Day 4 RHINELAND–INNSBRUCK AREA, AUSTRIA

Drive through Baden-Wüttenberg to the foot of the Alps to see King Ludwig’s magnificent Neuschwanstein castle, Germany’s fairytale castle. Carry on into the verdant Austrian Tyrol, where you will spend one night. Today’s Distance: 249 mi/ 400 km

Day 5 INNSBRUCK AREA–VENICE AREA, ITALY

Cross the border into Italy to the unique floating city of Venice. This afternoon’s orientation includes a boat ride to St. Mark’s Square, followed by a visit to a traditional glassblowing workshop. Don’t miss out on the romantic optional gondola trip, gliding along the picturesque canals with a local troubadour to serenade you. Today’s Distance: 242 mi/ 390 km

Day 6 VENICE AREA–ASSISI–ROME

An interesting drive southward, cutting across the Po Delta, then through the gentle Umbrian hills to medieval Assisi, where St. Francis was born in 1182. Visit the world-famous St. Francis Basilicas with its beautiful frescoes by Giotto, then head for Rome. Today’s Distance: 345 mi/ 555 km

The “Eternal City” is steeped in history, vibrantly alive and exciting, and absolutely unique! Start the included introduction to Rome’s landmarks from St. Peter’s Square with a Local Guide. Enjoy a drive along the iconic landmarks of the city: the Tiber River, the Caius Cestius Pyramid, the Aurelian Walls, and the Caracalla Baths. Complete the experience with a walk back in time from the Circus Maximus to the Arch of Constantine and to the fascinating Colosseum, symbol of the Roman Empire.* * For operational reasons, schedule changes for the Rome program cannot be excluded.

Day 8 ROME–PISA–MONTECATINI

Say goodbye to Rome and drive on the Highway of the Sun to Pisa. Hop on a mini train to the Square of Miracles and admire the curious Leaning Tower, a world-renowned photographic subject. Overnight in the spa town of Montecatini, recently added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Today’s Distance: 249 mi/ 400 km

Day 9 MONTECATINI–FLORENCE–LAKE COMO

Arrive in Florence. This Renaissance gem and city of the Medicis will keep you enthralled for a whole day. Don’t miss out on the included walking tour with a Local Guide that features most of the city highlights. You will see Piazza Santa Croce; beautiful Piazza Signoria; Palazzo Vecchio and Loggia dei Lanzi. To top it all, see Piazza del Duomo and its cathedral with the Giotto Campanile, and the magnificently carved East Door of the Baptistry, known as the “Gate of Paradise.” Journey northward through the Tuscan hills and across the Apennines to the shores of romantic Lake Como. Day 11 LUCERNE AREA–INTERLAKEN–LAUSANNE

Spend some time in beautiful Lucerne. Stroll through the old town and see the distinctive covered wooden bridge (Kapellbrücke) crossing the river Reuss. Later, stop in idyllic Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland and then follow the shoreline of deep blue Lake Thun, continuing for a few more miles to Lausanne, overlooking Lake Geneva. Day 12 LAUSANNE–BEAUNE, FRANCE–PARIS

This is something we can definitely request, but unfortunately in Europe the setup of hotels is not like it is in other parts of the world and can never be guaranteed (i.e sometimes don't have triple share rooms available)

Prices are based on a twin-share. If you are happy to go with a twin-share the tour operator will place you with another solo traveller of the same sex. If you would like your own room, you can opt for the single supplement, with an additional cost. The single supplement is not compulsory for this tour. RocketStar Inc's Breakthrough in Space Travel: The Nuclear Fusion Drive

I n the realm of space exploration and satellite deployment, propulsion technology is the linchpin to achieving ever-greater milestones. Imagine a spacecraft that harnesses the power of nuclear fusion, an energy source that mimics the processes powering our own sun, to journey through the cosmos. This isn’t a scene from a science fiction novel; it’s the current breakthrough from RocketStar Inc. with their unveiling of the FireStar Drive—the world’s first electric propulsion system bolstered by nuclear fusion.

RocketStar’s technological marvel, the FireStar Drive, marks a significant advance from traditional chemical and electric propulsion methods. By employing a fusion-enhanced pulsed plasma thruster that ionizes water vapor to generate high-speed protons, which then induce fusion reactions with boron nuclei, this system can increase the base propulsion unit’s thrust by an impressive 50%. The fusion process, likened to an afterburner in a jet engine, injects boron into the thruster’s exhaust, creating a fusion-fission reaction that supercharges the engine’s capabilities.

The genesis of this innovation was a collaborative project for AFWERX—an Air Force Work Project—during which the concept of introducing boronated water into a pulsed plasma thruster’s exhaust was first realized. Not only did this produce alpha particles and gamma rays—indicators of nuclear fusion—but subsequent testing at Georgia Tech’s High Power Electric Propulsion Laboratory showcased a significant performance boost, confirming the potential of this groundbreaking propulsion technology.

Adam Hecht, Professor of Nuclear Engineering at the University of New Mexico, highlighted the paradigm shift this represents: “RocketStar has not just incrementally improved a propulsion system, but taken a leap forward by applying a novel concept, creating a fusion-fission reaction in the exhaust.”

This propulsion system is not a distant possibility—it’s swiftly approaching operational status. RocketStar is already prepping the M1.5 thruster, the current iteration of their technology, for in-space performance evaluation aboard D-Orbit’s OTV ION Satellite Carrier on SpaceX Transporter missions in July and October this year.

“The M1.5 is not just a step toward the future—it’s a giant leap,” said Matteo Lorenzoni, Head of Sales at D-Orbit. “We are very happy to have the opportunity to work alongside RocketStar and contribute to the demonstration of the M1.5. We just integrated the thruster onto the ION Satellite Carrier, and look forward to witnessing its performance in orbit.”

Additionally, February 2025 will see an in-space demonstration of the FireStar Drive as a hosted payload on Rogue Space System’s Barry-2 spacecraft. Brent Abbott, CRO at Rogue Space Systems, stated, “We are very excited to test FireStar for RocketStar. We look forward to considering it for future Rogue missions.”

RocketStar is not stopping at propulsion. Their ambitious vision encompasses a suite of cutting-edge technologies, from aerospike rocket engines to digital signal processing (DSP) systems that enable advanced space communications and radar capabilities.

As space agencies and commercial entities push further into the final frontier, RocketStar’s FireStar Drive promises to be a key component in overcoming the challenges of deep space travel. Its inception, sparked by a simple conference doodle and nurtured through innovative collaboration, is now set to propel the industry forward, reminding us that sometimes, the most profound advancements start with the simplest ideas.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.
