First we visit the Cozumel sanctuary Luna's Animal Sanctuary. We will take a tour of the farm and visit the animals that live a relaxed life there. Help with the feedings, children are welcome to pet the animals. Spend time with horses Orthello, Vivaldi and donkey Sophie. Numerous ducks, cats, chickens, geese and dogs run free here. Afterwards, take your time to discover the island of Cozumel. Andrea has lived here for over 25 years and knows many insider tips.

Do something special on your day in Cozumel. On our Cozumel Island Tour with a visit to the Lunas Animal Sanctuary , you are guaranteed to get off the beaten paths. Andrea has lived in Cozumel for over 30 years . She loves horses and animals and has built up her own animal sanctuary over the years. For you, Andrea opens the gates of Luna’s Aimal Sanctuary and tells personal animal stories.

Andrea welcomes children and adults. She will be happy to prepare local fruits for you to taste and tell stories about the Mexican culture and Island life on Cozumel. Andrea will then take you a tour around Cozumel Island.

You will pass a natural cenote and discover wild beaches. The Island is full of secrets. A unique experience, as it is a complete private tour!!! The income for this excursion goes almost entirely to the animals .

Availability

The availability of our excursions can only be guaranteed after confirmation by us. If an excursion is not possible on your desired date, we will suggest another date or refund any payments already received.

For a binding reservation we charge a deposit of 20% of the tour price. The remaining payment will be made in CASH on site. Please note that payment on site by credit card is not possible. If you would like to inquire about the tour without a binding reservation, please contact us .

Customization of Excursions

Under special circumstances we adapt our tours to external conditions. We discuss this individually with our customers. Adjustments will be made, for example, if the weather changes at short notice. We also adapt excursions for cruisers to the berthing times of cruise ships.  

Cancellation policy

• With the reservation we charge a deposit. We keep these as administration fees for “no-show” guests.

  We refund the deposit, if

• You cancel the excursion at least 24 hours before
• If you have to cancel the excursion for whatever reason, please inform us as soon as possible. We might be able to sell the excursion elsewhere and will refund the deposit.

• If your cruise ship does not dock in Cozumel on the day you booked, we will be happy to provide you with a voucher for a future visit or refund 50% of your deposit.

Situated in the translucent Caribbean sea, the tiny Mexican island of Cozumel is famed for its rich eco-tourism and mile-long Barrier Reef where you’ll find sea creatures and aquatic mammals a-plenty, including the endangered Splendid Toadfish.

Much of the island is covered with mangrove forests, just one of the habitats in which you’ll discover a diverse range of animal life, including many species unique to the island.

These indigenous and sometimes illusive creatures include the Cozumel Coati, part of the raccoon family, the Emerald Hummingbird, and the Cozumel Harvest Mouse. Encounters on the beach are also likely, with spiny-tailed iguanas often freely roaming the sands.
