Devil Driver put on a great show! They played a good bit of music from each of their albums to include some Coal Chamber songs. I wish they would have played more! Dez has a high energy that you can not stop watching! They had some really awesome video monitors playing in the background and the lighting was great too. Not too dark like a lot of shows these days that are inside smaller venues. Dez was also wearing a glowing shirt, that was pretty cool too! The sound was great in the Agora venue. Loud! Cant wait to see what Devil Driver does in the next year!

DevilDriver sets its own tone and groove in metal. From vocals to guitars, they are able to entertain you in every way.

They never waste your time and give a great performance. Dez also gives great speeches during gigs and always sets a smile to your face.

I would recommend everyone who loves metal to go to their concert. It's truly fun and pretty good kick ass songs with tight riffs. Cheers!

Devildriver was awsome was a great nite,but Oddbodies in Dayton were they played needs to change there bathroom facility big time ,its way back in the corner of venue and when they change bands you cant use it at all.

DevilDriver Was Awesome They Put On An Awesome Show This Was My First Time Seeing Them And I Was Highly Impressed By The Performance They Gave Can't Wait To See Them Again

Went to see Wednesday 13 and they rocked the place. During DD set we were visiting with W13 and the boys so didn’t get to see this part of the show.

Cradle of Filth + DevilDriver Reveal 2023 U.S. Co-Headline Tour Dates

Two of extreme metal's biggest acts will be teaming up on tour in 2023 as Cradle of Filth and DevilDriver will head up the "Double Trouble Live" trek.

The tour will primarily take place in the southwest and western U.S., rolling out during the month of March with a kickoff March 8 in Tempe, Arizona and a conclusion a few weeks later on March 26 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. All of the dates, cities and venues can be viewed toward the bottom of this post.

"Cradle Of Filth are maniacally looking forward to this two-pronged headline assault with fellow noisemongers DevilDriver. Frontman Dez has been a friend for years and a brilliant manager to boot, and to head out on the road for what promises to be the first leg of the ‘Double Trouble Live’ world tour with him and the band was an opportunity far too good to pass on," says Dani Filth .

He adds, "We are chomping at the bit to get out on the West Coast again after our very successful run supporting Danzig last summer, and this eclectic tour package is so heavy it’s literally going to GRIND faces to a pulp. Tickets for the "Double Trouble Live" tour will go on sale this Friday (Jan. 13) at 10AM local time. And for those in the Eastern U.S., a second tour leg is expected to be revealed later this year.

Cradle of Filth and DevilDriver Shares 2023 Tour Dates

CRADLE OF FILTH and DEVILDRIVER shares 2023 US tour dates. The famous metal bands kick off the tour with Black Satellite and Oni for the first leg of their Double Trouble Live tour starting this March 2023.

Dez Fafara, a member of the well-known nu-metal band Coal Chamber, is due to perform for the first time in over a decade. And Fafara’s DevilDriver is getting ready to release the long-awaited second half of their Dealing With Demons double album and go on tour.

Cradle of Filth is a Suffolk, England-based extreme metal band formed in 1991. Dani Filth, A.K.A Daniel Lloyd Davey, the band’s singer and songwriter who has led the band to become one of Europe’s largest extreme metal bands, is the band’s brainchild.

DevilDriver is a Santa Barbara, California-based heavy metal band founded in 2002 by vocalist Dez Fafara, lead guitarist Mike Spreitzer, drummer Davier Pérez, bassist Jon Miller, and rhythm guitarist Alex Lee.

Veteran metal bands Cradle of Filth and DevilDriver will team up for a co-headline tour starting March 8, 2023, in Tempe, Arizona.

The first leg of the “Double Trouble Live” tour will visit several popular western and southern U.S. markets, coming to an end March 26 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Support will come from Black Satellite and Oni.

CRADLE OF FILTH And DEVILDRIVER Announce Second Leg Of 2023 U.S. Co-Headline Tour

Earlier this year, extreme metal pioneers CRADLE OF FILTH and groove metal veterans DEVILDRIVER embarked on a killer co-headline tour, purveying their musical onslaught to thousands of fans across the country. This October, the dark duo will return for the trek's highly anticipated second leg, dubbed "Double Trouble Live II" . The tour will begin in Los Angeles, California on October 4, visiting a slew of cities across the U.S. before ending back in Riverside, California on October 29. Support will come from ILL NIÑO , BLACK SATELLITE and SAVAGE EXISTENCE .

Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 23 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

CRADLE OF FILTH recently entered Grindstone Studio in Suffolk, U.K. with producer Scott Atkins to begin recording its new album.

In April, CRADLE OF FILTH released its first live album in over 20 years, "Trouble And Their Double Lives" , via Napalm Records . The LP was recorded between 2014 and 2019 at different performances in the USA, Europe, Australia and beyond during the band's "Cryptoriana" world tour and dates following. Produced, mixed and mastered by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studios , with recording captured by Danny B , the effort not only features a slew of fan favorites encompassing the band's discography but also two bonus tracks and two entirely brand new songs, "She Is A Fire" and "Demon Prince Regent" .

DEVILDRIVER released part two of its "Dealing With Demons" saga, their tenth full-length, "Dealing With Demons Vol. II" , on May 12 via Napalm Records . Once again produced and engineered by Steve Evetts with additional engineering from guitarist Mike Spreitzer , 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II' is inarguably heavier and relentlessly harsher than its predecessor — as proven with bludgeoning lead single "Through The Depths" and the follow-up track "If Blood Is Life" .

International media mainstays like Revolver , Metal Hammer , Kerrang! and Consequence lauded "Dealing With Demons I" , which debuted at No. 4 on the U.S. Current Hard Music Albums chart. BLABBERMOUTH.NET stated, "If the second half of this mammoth endeavor matches the first, this will be remembered as a pivotal moment in the DEVILDRIVER story." Rest assured, "Dealing With Demons Vol. II" doubles down on the brutality — and then some!

Last December, DEVILDRIVER parted ways with drummer Austin D'Amond and replaced him with Davier Pérez .

D'Amond joined DEVILDRIVER in 2015 as the replacement for original drummer John Boecklin .

In July 2022, DEVILDRIVER announced the return of original bassist Jon Miller after more than a decade-long absence from the scene. In addition to epic reunion, DEVILDRIVER added guitarist Alex Lee ( HOLY GRAIL ) to the lineup, replacing Neal Tiemann .

Ibarra joined DEVILDRIVER in 2016 as the replacement for former BURY YOUR DEAD guitarist Chris Towning , who appeared on the Fafara -fronted band's 2013 album "Winter Kills" .

In October 2021, DEVILDRIVER parted ways with Tiemann . Neal , formerly of BURN HALO , joined the band in 2015 as the replacement for Jeff Kendrick , who left DEVILDRIVER in October 2014.

Cradle of Filth and DevilDriver to Embark on 2023 US Co-Headlining Tour

The extreme metal heavyweights are teaming up for the March run

Cradle of Filth and DevilDriver have announced a March 2023 US co-headlining tour with support from Black Satellite and Oni.

Billed as the first leg of the “Double Trouble Live” tour, the initial set of dates kicks off March 8th in Tempe, Arizona, and runs through March 26th, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The route for the first leg of the outing (which promises to be a “world tour,” according to Cradle of Filth frontman Dani Filth) will stick mainly to West Coast and Southwest markets.

Tickets go on sale Friday (January 13th) at 10 a.m. local time. You can pick up tickets via Ticketmaster .

“Cradle of Filth are maniacally looking forward to this two-pronged headline assault with fellow noisemongers DevilDriver,” remarked Dani Filth via a press statement. “Frontman Dez [Fafara] has been a friend for years and a brilliant manager to boot, and to head out on the road for what promises to be the first leg of the ‘Double Trouble Live’ world tour with him and the band was an opportunity far too good to pass on.”

Added Fafara on his friendship with Dani and the Cradle of Filth camp: “I have been a fan of Cradle of Filth since the early ’90s, and over the years I’ve not only had the opportunity to become great friends with Dani and the band, whom are all wonderful people, but also to manage their career alongside my wife Anahstasia, who is CEO at Oracle Management. When presented the opportunity to go out on what is DevilDriver’s first shows in almost three years and co-headline with the mighty Cradle of Filth on this first run of what is now a world tour, it could not be passed on!”

Rotting Christ to Embark on 2023 North American Tour

Cradle of Filth most recently released the Existence Is Futile LP in 2021, while DevilDriver dropped their most recent offering Dealing with Demons I back October 2020. As Fafara mentioned, DevilDriver have not played live since 2019, so the upcoming shows will be their first since the pandemic.

DevilDriver and Cradle of Filth: The Double Trouble Tour

Two of the Most Iconic Bands in the Heavy Music Scene Deliver a Night Of Sonic Fury – Photos and Feature on the DevilDriver & Cradle of Filth Concert at the Culture Room in Ft Lauderdale, FL

In the world of heavy metal, few bands can command the stage and captivate audiences like DevilDriver and Cradle of Filth. And so, it was only natural to see them join forces on the Double Trouble tour this year to deliver punishing metal anthems to audiences all over America. The Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale was lucky enough to play host to this unforgettable sold-out concert featuring these two iconic metal acts, along with an exhilarating lineup of opening acts in the form Black Satellite , Savage Existence , and Ill Nino . The event promised to be a a night of sonic fury that left fans craving more, and it did not disappoint!

The Culture Room , nestled in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale, has earned a reputation as a haven for live music enthusiasts. On this particular evening, the venue’s intimate and cozy setting was the perfect backdrop for the high-octane energy that was about to explode onto the stage. The night began with Savage Existence taking the stage, injecting a dose of raw energy into the atmosphere. Hailing from Costa Rica, the band unleashed a barrage of thrash and groovy metal riffs that had the crowd head-banging in unison. Their crushing guitar work and ferocious stage presence demonstrated that the metal scene in Costa Rica is alive and well.

Following Savage Existence was  Black Satellite , a dynamic group known for their electrifying live performances that meld together industrial and groover metal influences. The band’s setlist consisted of tracks from their upcoming album “Aftermath”, and their live performance definitely showed us that they are a band to be on the lookout for. Bandleaders Larissa Vale and Kyle Hawken delivered a set filled with catchy hooks and powerful vocals that captivated the crowd and set the stage perfectly for the heavier acts that were yet to come. They ended the night with a cover of Rammstein’s “ Sonne ” which the crowd really enjoyed.

As the night continued to heat up, Ill Nino brought their unique blend of Latin-influenced metal to the quickly filling Culture Room . With a potent mix of growling vocals and percussive rhythms, they delivered a set that was as heavy as it was groove-infused. The audience was treated to classics like “ This Is War ” and “ How Can I Live, ” resulting in a raucous mosh pit that seemed to stretch to every corner of the venue. Even though the band underwent some lineup changes recently, lead singer Marcos Leal  did an incredible job and it was awesome to see Marc Rizzo back in the fold. The band finished up their time on stage with the classic banger “ Te Amo…I Hate You ” as the crowd went wild once again.

As the anticipation grew, the time finally arrived for the main event. DevilDriver , fronted by the charismatic Dez Fafara , stormed onto the stage like a force of nature and kicked off their set with the thunderous combination of “ Keep Away From Me ” and “ I Could Care Less “. The band’s devilish brand of groove metal combined with a thrashy edge had fans losing themselves in the music and kept a circle pit going during their entire set. Hits like “ Through the Depths ” and “ End of the Line ” resonated with the crowd, who responded with wild enthusiasm, and Dez even delivered an emotional cover of the AWOLNation song “ Sail “. Devildriver finished up their time on stage with their most popular song “ Clouds Over California ” as the crowd moshed harder than ever for the finale.

British extreme metal veterans Cradle of Filth  were up next, engulfing the Culture Room in a dark and atmospheric soundscape. The crowd roared with approval as the band appeared onstage and began their unholy musical ritual with “ Existential Terror ” and “ The Fate of the World on Our Shoulders “. Frontman Dani Filth’s sinister and haunting vocals, along with the band’s symphonic yet heavy elements, created an eerie and mesmerizing atmosphere that perfectly complimented the live show. Cradle of Filth played a blend of classic tracks from all throughout their storied discography, including “ Nymphetamine ” and “ Her Ghost in the Fog, ” which the fans went crazy for. After an incredible night of symphonic extreme metal, Dani and the rest of the band delivered one final blow as their last song in the form of “ From the Cradle to Enslave ” as the crowd screamed and yearned for more.

The concert was a triumphant collision of American and British heavy metal, leaving the audience drenched in sweat and adrenaline. The tour’s coexistence of DevilDriver’s groovy aggression and Cradle of Filth’s gothic opulence provided a diverse and satisfying metal experience for everyone lucky enough to attend the show in such an intimate venue. The opening acts, Black Satellite , Savage Existence , and Ill Nino , all set the stage for a night of sonic fury with their distinctive styles and captivating performances. DevilDriver and Cradle of Filth then took the audience on a wild, metal-driven journey that left everyone in attendance craving more.
