Farm Tours & Factory Visits Sunshine Coast – As if the Sunshine Coast and Surrounds wasn’t blessed enough with wonderful producers we also have the added bonus of being able to visit some of the most picturesque properties and partake in true ‘paddock to plate’ experiences. Adding to the experience even more is the diversity. We can interact closely with the most curious of emus, cows and goats, then help with the milking and or even get hands on with cheese making. There are a number of farms that will take visitors right through to the dining experience as well as a diverse range of growers that eagerly share their knowledge while walking you around their gardens explaining the merits of some of the most unique and interesting plantings you will find on the coast. Strawberry farms open their gates annually to allow visitors to pick their own punnets of sweet ripening fruit.  Last but not least are also some producers that host factory tours with viewing windows and taste samplings of their products.

Organised Tours are another option allowing you to site back, relax and enjoy the day!

Sitting on more than 100 acres in the Noosa hinterland, the farm is home to cattle, horses, ducks and sheep, but it also now hosts those with only two legs, thanks to a luxe rammed earth villa on the property.

Another restored cottage, this  Mango Hill retreat  offers two bedrooms and lots of opportunities for exploring. Located in Peachester there are views of the Glasshouse Mountains area and Mt Beerwah. If you head down to the forest walk near the creek you’ll most likely make some new friends with the hinterland creatures living in the area, from kookaburras to water dragons and finches.

Surrounded by rolling paddocks and the soft sounds of a babbling creek, Killara Farm is the perfect spot to bring the whole family—or a select few—to enjoy this gorgeous farm stay property. Killara, meaning always there, is serving up a beautifully modern 1890s homestead complete with rustic timber floors, wide four-sided verandah and whiskey room.

Under Development - Farm and Factory Tours - Temporarily Closed

Maleny Dairies is excited to announce that our MilkBar and Tours is undergoing a makeover!!!    As part of Maleny Dairies’ continued commitment to provide an exceptional agritourism experience, we have made the decision to temporarily close our MilkBar and Farm and Factory tours area to redesign and redevelop our customer experience facilities.

As of Monday 17 April, our MilkBar and Tours area will be temporarily closed to the public. Shortly after, we will commence excavation works and will keep you up to date with progress.

Yes, you can still purchase our dairy products  via the Milkbar -  Monday to Friday - 9am-2pm.

Maleny Dairies are committed to improving pedestrian safety for all staff, visitors and guests who visit our premises. 

Maleny Dairies advises all guests and visitors who are coming onsite that the access road leading to the Office Area is a Shared Zone. 

A Shared Zone is a road or network of roads where the road space is shared safely by vehicles and pedestrians. There may be no road lines, kerb or gutter in a Shared Zone to show that pedestrians and vehicles are equal.

Drivers must travel at a lower speed to better able to control their vehicles and safely avoid impact with other road users.

Important things to know about Maleny Dairies Shared Zone.

The maximum speed limit is always 10 km/h.

Drivers must give way to pedestrians at all times.

Pedestrians must look for signs such as the ones below and be aware of vehicles entering and exiting the Shared Zone.

Children must be supervised at all times while in the Shared Zone.

Vehicles will be stopping and unloading while in the Shared Zone.

Visitor Parking

All visitors and guests are required to park in the visitor car park

located at the front of the property.  Access to the visitor car park

is via McCarthy Road. Parking is not permitted in the Shared Zone.

Commercial Vehicles

Commercial vehicle are permitted in the Shared Zone and must

park in the designated areas identified by signs.

Restricted Areas

Guests and visitors are not to enter restricted areas identified by signs.

Traffic Management Upgrades

Upgrades to improve traffic management and visitor safety will commence from Monday 19 December 2022.

Signage and fencing will direct pedestrians to the temporary path, which will be suitable for users of wheelchairs and other mobility devices and will be clearly marked.

2024 harvest season (march to november).

What We Do We are a second-g enerat ion small farming family l ocated in Beerwah on the Suns hine Coast producing fresh, premium quality and sweet pineapples. We produce the hybrid 73-50 variety (also known as “topless pineapples ”) that is low in acidity and sweeter in flavour.

The Difference We often get feedback that our pineapples are sweet and have the best-tasting flavour. We believe that picking premature fruit ruins the experience for consumers. Being a small farming family, we are able to stay on top of things (with the exception of severe weather events). We believe in quality and not quantity which is why we place significant emphasis on harvesting to colour.
