• Doors open at 6:00 pm 
• Show starts at 7:30 pp
• Security: For the safety of everyone attending the show, you and your belongings will be screened upon entrance to the Ford Wyoming Center with walk-through metal detectors and/or magnetic wands. Bags will also be checked. In order to get through security as quickly as possible, it is recommended that you only bring necessary items. Bags and purses will slow down your process through security. Both entrances will have bag-free lanes to expedite entry. Guests without a bag or with just a small clutch will be able to use the bag-free lines. 
• Tickets: Prior to your arrival at the venue, please be sure to download your mobile ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay on your smartphone. Find more information here . 
• Gate Entry and Parking Lots (see map here ): If your tickets are in Sections 101-111 or 201-208, please enter through Gate #2 or Gate #3 and park in Lots 7-10. Enter through the door by the Caspar Collins Statue.  If your tickets are in Sections 112-122 or 215-222, please enter through Gate #1 or Gate #2 and park in Lots 1-6. Enter through the door by the SinclairTix Box Office.  If your tickets are Floor Tickets, you may enter through Gate 1-3 and park in Lot 1-10.  If you have Club 13 Tickets, you will pass Gate #3 to park in Lot #11.  The Primary ADA Parking Lot can be accessed through Gate #1. The fifth and final instalment of the  Indiana Jones  franchise stars Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, and also features Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas in a globe-trotting cinematic adventure.

The partnership was created to leverage the history and heritage of the film franchise, featuring the ultimate explorer Indiana Jones, in order to create awareness of Ford’s new Explorer.

The Explorer builds on generations of global heritage, reinvented for Europe as an all-electric mid-sized crossover. Combining German engineering with striking American style to deliver an adventure-ready design with an outstanding digital experience, it provides all-electric power and the ability to fast charge from 10 to 80 per cent in just 25 minutes. 2

Highlights include the SYNC Move 3 adjustable 15-inch centre touchscreen that can be raised and lowered through an arc of more than 30 degrees, and conceal or reveal the My Private Locker storage – perfect for keeping treasure maps away from prying eyes. The 17-litre MegaConsole is large enough to hold a 15-inch laptop, or the spoils of an adventure.

To demonstrate its abilities, travel adventure influencer Lexie Alford – known to millions online as Lexie Limitless – will undertake a round-the-world journey in an all-electric Ford Explorer later this year.

Reservations are now being accepted for the Explorer, with delivery dates in 2024.

In a recent fireside chat at Electrify Expo: Industry Day in Long Beach , Mark Dipko, Vice President of Product Marketing of Ford, discussed with Ed Loh, Editorial Head at MotorTrend Group, Ford’s transition to electric vehicles (EVs) while maintaining the essence of driving, enhancing customer experiences, and revolutionizing the way vehicles are purchased.

Ford Model E Strategy: Leading the EV Innovation Race

Mark explained that the Ford Model E strategy operates as a startup within Ford, driving EV product development and digital integration. “The Ford Model E strategy was really set up to operate at the speed of a startup inside of Ford Motor Company, bringing digital aspects into the company and leading innovation in the EV space,” stated Mark. Furthermore, Ford Pro focuses on commercial customers’ needs, showcasing Ford’s comprehensive approach to the evolving automotive landscape.

Ford’s Customer-Centric Approach in EV Marketing

Ed Loh delved into the challenges of marketing EVs, specifically the Ford F-150 Lightning . Mark emphasized Ford’s commitment to delivering a great experience for customers, acknowledging that EVs have unique conditions, such as cold weather affecting range . Ford employs data-driven approaches, cloud-based predictions , and a robust charging infrastructure to ensure customers have a seamless towing experience. Ed praised Ford’s over-the-air (OTA) updates, highlighting the recent enhancements to the Ford Mustang Mach-E’s vertical screen and BlueCruise feature. “Software-defined vehicles are living and breathing products that will continue to improve over time, utilizing data to enhance the customer experience,”mentioned Mark. Ford’s commitment to refining existing products while developing next-gen vehicles highlights their dedication to customer satisfaction and continuous innovation. “Our goal is to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for customers, whether it’s through OTA updates, charging infrastructure advancements, or reducing order times for immediate vehicle availability.”

Expanded Ford Charging Infrastructure and Addressing Charging Anxiety

The interview touched upon the infrastructure challenges associated with EV adoption, focusing on charge anxiety. Mark acknowledged the need for industry-wide improvements and emphasized Ford’s active participation in improving the overall charging experience. “Our real focus is making sure that the mainstream customers who love the F-150 Lightning have a great experience,” Mark mentioned. We use cloud-based data prediction for range and offer the Blue Oval charge network to ensure convenient charging options.

In an exciting development, Ford EV customers can now benefit from the use of Tesla Superchargers , further expanding their charging options and alleviating range anxiety . By partnering with Tesla’s Supercharger network, Ford is committed to providing greater convenience and accessibility for its customers, allowing them to tap into a vast and established charging infrastructure.

Ford’s Blue Oval Charge Network aggregates charging stations, streamlining the customer experience and offering easy payment options, while the recent collaboration with Tesla’s Superchargers reinforces Ford’s dedication to enhancing charging infrastructure. It’s all about giving customers choice and meeting their needs.” Ford’s focus on delivering inventory for immediate purchase and reducing order times caters to customers’ expectations in an evolving market. “Our approach is customer obsession with competitive awareness, ensuring that we define the experience for our customers while keeping an eye on what others in the industry are doing.”

What's New for 2023?

Ford has added the off-road oriented Rattler trim to the F-150 lineup for 2023. Based on the XL FX4, the Rattler adds unique 18-inch wheels, a dual-exhaust system, hill-descent control, a locking rear differential, and an off-road suspension system along with distinctive rattle-snake inspired logos throughout the design. The Rattler's positioning in the F-150 lineup provides a more affordable option for buyers who want additional off-road capability but don’t want to shell out for the more expensive Tremor or Raptor models.

Pricing and Which One to Buy

The price of the 2023 Ford F-150 starts at $35,830 and goes up to $84,115 depending on the trim and options.

The F-150 is available with multiple body styles and bed lengths. While the XLT model is a step up from the basic XL work truck, we prefer the additional luxuries on the Lariat. It costs almost $10,000 more than the XLT, which may put it out of reach for some buyers, but it has the best mix of features and affordability.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The 2023 F-150 is available with several engines—a 290-hp 3.3-liter V-6; a 400-hp 5.0-liter V-8; a 325-hp twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6; a 400-hp twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6; and a 250-hp 3.0-liter diesel V-6. No matter which engine you choose, the F-150 comes paired with a 10-speed automatic. For the first time ever, the F-150 is also offered with a hybrid powertrain. Ford claims that the new 400-hp hybrid powertrain—which consists of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6, a 35 kW electric motor, and a 10-speed automatic transmission—will offer up to 700 miles of driving range per tank and can also power an onboard generator for keeping the power flowing at job sites or during power outages. Buyers will be able to choose between rear- and four-wheel drive with any of the F-150's available powertrains. At our test track, a four-wheel drive Lariat with the hybrid powertrain galloped to 60 mph in a brisk 5.4 seconds. During our test drive , we noted a compliant ride and agreeable handling; high-spec models such as the King Ranch come with a variable-assist steering system that sharpens responses at low speeds for a more agile feeling. The Tremor model promises the most off-road capability ; it offers 33-inch all-terrain tires, an upgraded suspension, a locking rear differential and a four-wheel drive transfer case borrowed from the mighty F-150 Raptor. At our test track, the Tremor leapt to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds, trailing the more powerful Raptor by just 0.1 second.

Towing and Payload Capacity

While the base 3.3-liter V-6 engine's towing capacity maxes out at 8200 pounds, models equipped with the 400-hp twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 can tow up to 14,000 pounds. Going with the venerable 5.0-liter V-8 means maximum towing capacity is just 13,000 pounds; the diesel V-6 is capable of up to 12,100 pounds and the hybrid model can tow up to 12,700. Payload capacity ranges from 1840 to 3250 pounds. These towing and payload capacities keeps the new F-150 in the hunt with key rivals like the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 , GMC Sierra 1500 , and Ram 1500 .

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

The EPA estimates the F-150 with the turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6 will earn up to 20 mpg city and 26 highway. The twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 is rated up to 18 mpg city and 24 highway. The hybrid version has estimates as high as 25 mpg city and 26 highway. On our 75-mph highway fuel-economy route, which is part of our extensive testing regimen , the Tremor model with the twin-turbo 3.5-liter returned 19 mpg. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

Interior appointments in the F-150 nearly match the Ram 1500's deluxe cabin, particularly in the Ford's higher-end King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited models. Premium materials are used throughout and the cabin is dotted plenty of storage cubbies. Additional convenience features are intended to make things easier for those who use the F-150 as a mobile workspace . For example, the 10-speed automatic's shift lever can be folded flat with the center console to create a large flat workspace . Similarly, the F-150 can be ordered with fold-flat front seats that can provide a place for sleeping. Passenger space is generous, with the four-door crew-cab body style being the most spacious and family-friendly of the bunch. Out back, the F-150's bed An optional onboard generator provides up to 7.2-kW of power to support electricity needs at the job site or at tailgate parties.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Ford provides an 8.0-inch infotainment display as standard that runs an improved version of the brand's Sync 4 software , while a much larger 12.0-inch unit is optional. This matches the Ram 1500's optional 12.0-inch vertically oriented display, but both the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra are available with a larger 13.4-inch screen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both standard, as is a Wi-Fi hotspot; navigation, SiriusXM radio, and a Bang & Olufsen stereo system are optional. Sync 4's new software provides over-the-air updates for future software releases, traffic-and- weather updates via the optional navigation system, and onboard telematics for fleet customers to help track vehicle location and usage.

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

Ford is offering a host of driver-assistance features , but few are standard. More features will be available as buyers walk up through the F-150's trim levels, including a rear-facing camera for monitoring a trailer while on the go. Strange Glow Over Moscow Skies Triggers Panic as Explosions Reported

B right flashes lit up the night sky in southern Moscow in the early hours of Thursday morning, new footage appears to show, following reports of an explosion at an electrical substation on the outskirts of the city.

Video snippets circulating on Russian-language Telegram channels show a series of flashes on the horizon of a cloudy night sky, momentarily turning the sky a number of different colors. In a clip shared by Russian outlet MSK1.ru, smoke can be seen rising from a building during the flashes lighting up the scene.

Newsweek was unable to independently verify the details of the video clips, including when and where it was filmed. The Russian Ministry of Emergency situations has been contacted via email.

Several Russian Telegram accounts said early on Thursday that residents of southern Moscow reported an explosion and a fire breaking out at an electrical substation in the Leninsky district, southeast of central Moscow.

Local authorities in the Leninsky district told Russian outlet RBC that the explosion had happened in the village of Molokovo. "All vital facilities are operating as normal," Leninsky district officials told the outlet.

The incident at the substation in Molokovo took place just before 2 a.m. local time, MSK1.ru reported.

Messages published by the ASTRA Telegram account, run by independent Russian journalists, appear to show residents close to the substation panicking as they question the bright flashes in the sky. One local resident describes seeing the bright light before losing access to electricity, with another calling the incident a "nightmare."

More than 10 villages and towns in the southeast of Moscow lost access to electricity, the ASTRA Telegram account also reported. The town of Lytkarino to the southeast of Moscow, lost electricity, wrote the eastern European-based independent outlet, Meduza.

Outages were reported in the southern Domodedovo area of the city, according to another Russian outlet, as well as power failures in western Moscow. Electricity was then restored to the areas, the Strana.ua outlet reported.

The cause of the reported explosion is not known. A Telegram account aggregating news for the Lytkarino area described the incident as "an ordinary accident at a substation."

The MSK1.ru outlet quoted a local resident who speculated that a drone may have been responsible for the explosion, but no other Russian source reported this as a possible cause.

Ukraine has repeatedly targeted Moscow with long-range aerial drones in recent months, including a dramatic wave of strikes in late May.

On Sunday, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the region's air defense systems had intercepted an aerial drone over the city of Elektrostal, to the east of Moscow. No damage or casualties were reported, he said.

The previous day, Russian air defenses detected and shot down another drone flying over the Bogorodsky district, northeast of central Moscow, Sobyanin said.

There is currently no evidence that an aerial drone was responsible for the reported overnight explosion at the electrical substation in southern Moscow.

Ford Motor Co. is recalling more than 450,000 compact SUVs and pickup trucks over loss of drive power because of a battery issue.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced the recall in a notice Wednesday, which affects 2022-2024 model year Bronco Sport SUVs and Maverick compact pickup trucks manufactured between 2022-2023. 

An undetected low battery charge could lead to some electrical accessories such as hazard lights not functioning properly or cause a loss of drive power in affected vehicles, according to the NHTSA. The issue affects 456,565 vehicles. 

Dealers will recalibrate the body control and powertrain control modules to fix the issue for free, the recall notice said.

"We are committed to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers," Ford said in a statement. "Affected owners will receive a notification to have their vehicle software updated at no cost. Customers can use mobile service and pick-up and delivery to complete this recall."

Last week, Ford issued another recall for tens of thousands of small SUVs over concerns cracked fuel injectors could leak, increasing the risk of sparking a fire in engines.

A notice posted by the NHTSA said the recall is for certain 2022-2023 Bronco Sport and 2022 Escape models with 1.5-liter engines, totaling 42,652 vehicles.

The NHTSA notice said Ford is addressing the issue by having dealers update the affected vehicles' engine control software to include fuel injector leak detection and installing a drain tube.

Owners will be contacted by Ford with a recall notice via mail sometime this month. Ford shares are little changed this year. 

March and early April have seen a string of recall notices from other car manufacturers as well.

Hyundai and Kia have recalled more than 147,000 U.S. electric vehicles due to damaged charging units, which can stop charging the car's 12-volt battery and "result in a loss of drive power," the NHTSA said on March 22. 

Kia's impacted vehicles include certain EV6 cars, with model years between 2022 and 2024 affected. Hyundai's impacted cars include certain IONIQ 5 vehicles with model years between 2022 and 2024. 

KIA RECALLS OVER 427K VEHICLES THAT COULD ROLL AWAY WHILE IN PARK

On the same day, the NHTSA announced Chrysler was recalling around 286,000 vehicles over an issue with the side airbag inflators, which may rupture and injure or kill people. 

According to separate notices posted by the NHTSA , the recalls involve certain Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles from model years 2018-2021, and replacement parts for airbags in roughly 1,000 vehicles.

On March 27, Subaru recalled 118,000 U.S. vehicles due to an issue that could prevent the airbags from deploying during a crash, the NHTSA said.

Certain Outback and Legacy vehicles that were manufactured between 2020 and 2022 were recalled because a capacitor in the sensors for the Occupant Detection System (ODS) may crack and short circuit, according to the NHTSA.

Finally, on March 29, Kia recalled another 427,000 Telluride models in the U.S. made between 2020-2024 that have the potential to move while they are in park. 

NHTSA warned that the intermediate shaft and right front driveshaft on the vehicles "may not be fully engaged due to suspected improper assembly by the supplier."
