Vancouver Indian Arm Luncheon Cruise
Cruise ship. Photo by Claire Bolgil .
In addition to offering scenic Harbour Tours , the Vancouver Harbour Cruises company also offers a spectacular luncheon cruise of Indian Arm.
Where do Vancouver Harbour Cruises Depart From?
Vancouver Harbour Cruises are based at the eastern end of Vancouver Harbour, near Stanley Park, at the north foot of Denman Street. You can walk here along the scenic Coal Harbour Seawalk.
What is the Vancouver Harbour Cruises Indian Arm Luncheon Cruise?
The Indian Arm Luncheon Cruise is a spectacular way to spend four hours cruising past some of the most amazing scenery in Canada whilst enjoying an excellent buffet lunch!
Indian Arm Luncheon Cruise Highlights
Having sailed past Downtown Vancouver, the Inner Harbour and the Burrard Inlet you continue north into Indian Arm. Indian Arm is an 18km (11.25 miles) long coastal mountain fjord which was left behind as a result of the ice glaciers which once sat here.
It’s hard to believe that you’re so close to Vancouver when the scenery looks like you could be in the middle of nowhere!
As well as lush green forests, islands and some beautiful homes you’ll see the Silver Falls waterfall and hear a guided commentary, and of course all of this is whilst you enjoy a catered salmon or chicken buffet lunch.
To find out more about all of the cruises and tours offered, sailing dates and times, ticket prices, as well as special events and charter possibilities, please visit the Harbour Cruises website .

Very comfortable! The quality food was very good with a good choice of menu items. They sat us with another lovely couple at a 6 seat table (all were like this) so it gave you plenty of room as you get up frequently. The route took as all around Vancouver from the Harbour, under the Lions Gate Bridge and up False Creek as far as it could go then back again. Very scenic with a gorgeous sunset! Highly recommended! - 651MrsG 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Relaxing lunch cruise This was a lovely trip out, into the Indian Arm, past Deep Cove to Silver Springs Waterfall. The scenery was spectacular, with lots of photo opportunities. The boat was skilfully manoeuvred into the side so we could get close to the waterfall, although it was not fully flowing because of the dry weather. My Husband's not got the best sea-legs but he was fine on this trip. The lunch was very nice: chicken or salmon, which was served to your plate on the buffet, but everything else you helped your self to: potato salad, green salad, rice salad, a range of bread rolls. Followed by a choice of pies. Refills of tea and coffee and water, with a well stocked bar if you so desired. The cruise leaves at 11.00 am, but you need to be ready to board at 10.30 am. Indian arm cruise
Awesome cruise with great food and scenery. Wait until you see the the silver falls! Cheap drinks too!
The food was excellent and there was plenty. The staff could not do enough for us. It really was nice, just might be a little to long.
The parking lot can be little tricky to get into with many tourists renting bicycles across the street, and coming over to ride along Stanley Park and the area. The boat is unique with the paddle wheel and it’s traditional style. Length of the cruise is about right to make a quick tour of the harbor and learn some interesting facts about the Vancouver and the harbor. Would recommend this tour!
Love the music, food was not bad. Very nice views from the decks. Just had one disappointing start: the usherer pointed in and told me to turn right and pass the musicians—I didn’t know the interior, how would I? So I moved on and walked straight in to turn right because the entrance with the musicians were blocked at that moment. I returned after realising that path wasn’t connected to the inside. The usherer actually told me “why don’t you listen to what I said?!” It was pretty rude and I almost couldn’t believe he said that. Apart from that, the waiters and musicians are awesome.
This was a nice 1 hour trip around the harbour giving great views of any cruise ships in port, the container docking area and many other great sights. For those over 60 years of age, a special seniors discount. Booking in advance is recommended. The boarding wharf is quite s walk from the city centre boardwalk. On our trip, we did not get the advertised " on board commentary"! Enjoy.
We took the four hour Indian Arm lunch cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lunch was tasty but the star of the show is the great scenery from city views to movie locations and the docks on the return trip. There are restrooms on board and a full bar.

I get seasick very easy and did not get sick during this trip. The announcer did a great job talking about all of the sites as we came up to them and giving a lot of background information. He also had a lot of dad jokes, which I found very funny. The 1 hour trip was just perfect in timing. Definitely a great trip, and we'll probably do it again next time we are in the area. Prior to watching the fireworks, we had a wonderful buffet style dinner in what seemed like a floating restaurant that offered stunning unobstructed views of Vancouver, Vancouver's coastal mountains and the ocean while it was still daylight and beautiful nightscape views of Vancouver once it got dark. It really was a wonderful relaxing way to unwind from a stressful day at work on a medical unit. The view of the fireworks from the top deck was stunning [I would definitely bring a warm sweater if you want to watch the fireworks outside as it is cooler out on the water]. The background music was never too loud; THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT the food was good. The evening seemed to have a good flow. We did not seem rushed. There were not too many lulls in between boarding the boat; eating dinner; watching the fireworks. Thanks Harbor Cruises for a wonderful evening at this year's fireworks competitions.
