Hello all, I am one of the turkey tour guide group, Tolkin and I am from Kazakhstan. I came to Turkey in 1992 to finish my higher education at the Aegean University in Izmir. Since then I’ve been living in this lovely country. I have many friends here, some of which are guides. They are guides for abroad, too. ( private tour guide Sofia )

Immediately I have fallen in love with Turkey so I decided to make the next step. Soon after I became the citizen of Turkey, I got the right to attend a professional turkey tour guide course organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. Why I decided to become a guide? When you are in love you like to know more about the object of your attraction. At first, you don’t want to share your beloved with the others. The more you find out how lucky you are to love somebody like Turkey, you feel like sharing it. I started going on tours, different Turkey sightseeing tours , and discovered I have a passion to be a guide.

Kazakh, Russian and Turkish languages

I am fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and Turkish languages. In addition to being a licensed tour guide for Russian language, I am also a legal translator for Russian. I love adventures, meeting new people. I like going on holidays as well. My next vacation might be somewhere close, maybe I’ll try adventure Bulgaria tour .

I have been guiding since 2003, mainly in the Aegean region. My home is in Kusadasi which is so close to Ephesus. I mean, I do know what is hidden under every stone of Ephesus. This ancient city is one of my specialities. You know why? It’s like my second home. Sometimes I even feel like I had lived there.

I am also well-informed about Istanbul and Turkey. As a book lover I always read and hunt for new and interesting information about my new country.

I’m conducting all history, cultural and religious tours around Turkey.

Egge, our guide has many years experience and it shows! He gave us much detail and answered all our questions which will be in my heart forever. I feel that I have learnt so much from this tour and am ready to answer them to all my family and freinds as a tour guide! (not quite) "Curly" our driver is the best bus driver I have seen, amoungst all the turmoil that Turkiye can throw at us and I felt very safe. The places visited were outstanding and my highlight was the balloon ride! I feel that I made the right choice by choosing a company such as Fez Travel, as there local experience shines brightly.

Absolute Turkey

The overall experience is good. I like the logistics and the coverage of the different attractions and activities. The tour guide provided a good service and everything went smoothly. G Adventure gave us a variety of experiences and we loved their choices of locations and experiences other travel companies don't provide (ig. homestay). There are two issues though: The hotel we stayed in Antalya was the worst. The location is convenient, but we couldn't sleep at all all night due to the noise outside (until 5am!). Our tour guide told us the tourists gave the G Adventure the same feedback over and over again, but nothing has changed. This might be my #1 negative thing to say about the G Adventure. The second issue was some of the restaurants the tour guide took us were a little sketchy and dishonest. But I will still recommend G Adventure to other people.

Magic Carpet Tour

Airport pickup was very sketchy due to a 1 hour delayed flight. After arriving we waited for 2 hours outside before someone came to pick us up, and then was treated like it was our fault for not communicating the correct arrival time. How were we supposed to do that if we were in the air? What was the point of entering our flight information beforehand if no one was willing to check to see what time our flight was arriving when we were not there are the original time? Additionally, when we did arrive and saw that no one was there to pick us up I had to purchase a travel pass on my phone plan and called the Fez office. They were apparently closed and no one answered. Luckily we booked through TourRadar and were able to get ahold of them right away. The agent at TourRadar was very helpful and lined up transportation for us and made sure we felt comfortable. 2 hours later we were connected with Fez and en route to the hotel. From there the tour went really smoothly. We felt like we were taken care of and experienced a lot with an informative guide. We had a great experience in Turkey.

Turkey Encompassed

Lots of places to see on this tour, and some real bucket list moments. Our guide, Lev, was sensational. He went above and beyond. Feels like intrepid as a company really cares and their tour was well thought out. Be prepared for many long days of driving, however it’s just a part of covering so many kms. Very comfortable bus to travel in though. Gallipoli and the boat trip in Kas were highlights.

Had a great time! The tour guide, Eray, was knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring a smooth journey. Although there were several commercial stops, they added an local flavor. The hotels were of good standard, and the sights, especially in Cappadocia, were breathtaking. A well-organized and memorable trip!

The Israeli military published the names on Sunday of four soldiers killed in the Gaza Strip, bringing to 604 its losses in ground fighting there as the war against Hamas reached the half-year mark.

Israel launched air strikes on eastern Lebanon early on Sunday, hitting what it said were Hezbollah infrastructure sites after the armed group downed an Israeli drone over the country as both sides continue to trade fire amid escalating regional tensions.

New Zealand said on Sunday that it was making immediate changes to its employment visa program after a near record migration last year which it said was "unsustainable".
