Word jumble solver.

What's more fun than playing word games like Scrabble , crosswords, or Words With Friends?

Word games are an exciting way to keep yourself engaged and entertained. People play word games daily, as they continue to be an exciting sensation.

However, sometimes, unscrambling letters can get tough real quick. To get the correct word and make meaningful sentences, you may need to rack your brain for several hours or even days, and it can get tiring.

This is where a word jumble solver comes in. But first, let's talk about word games and how they work.

A jumble solver can be described as a word generator tool that helps out users when playing word games or word puzzles. This jumble word solver can be used to unscramble jumbled words and solve any daily word jumble puzzle. Tools like this can help a lot when playing Scrabble or crosswords.

What Is a Word Jumble Game?

A word jumble game is designed to put your knowledge and brain to the test. Most times, they come in the form of jumbled words or word puzzles. They serve as a source of relaxation for some people, especially after a long day. Above all, these games serve a great educational purpose.

Just like when reading a novel or watching a movie, you will most likely find words that are new to you. It is helpful to learn the meaning of these words, as they could come in handy in the future.

Generally, playing a world jumble puzzle is fun. Scrabble, Daily Jumble, Word Roundup, and crossword puzzles are some of the most popular word jumble games.

What Is a Word Jumble Solver?

You may not be familiar with the idea of a word jumble solver, as it's not incredibly widespread. However, this tool is becoming increasingly popular as more people start to discover it and use it daily. If jumble puzzles and word games interest you, a jumble word solver could be very helpful to you.

While solving daily jumble puzzle can be interesting and fun, word jumbles may prove to be very tough, confusing, and even frustrating sometimes. If you ever find yourself in a situation like this, you can use a jumble cheat to easily find the answers, even when there are blank tiles, and then proceed with the game. Word jumble solvers help unscramble jumbled letters, jumble word puzzles, and even jumbled sentences.

However, sometimes the jumble solver may come up with multiple words or jumble answers depending on the wild cards and letters provided. You will still need to task your brain with finding the correct letters or words for the context. The good thing is you can do so with maximum information at your disposal.

In other words, a jumble solver uses your input along with specific algorithms to unscramble words or letters and show you hidden combinations. If you want to form words or find unknown letters and you get stuck, turning to a jumble solver is a good idea.

Jumble Solver Example 1

For example, let's you're tasked with unjumbling these scrambled words:

A jumble word solver instantly recognizes the words as follows:

Some games have spaces you would fill in with those letters, and some of those spaces may be circled, meaning you need to use the circled letters to form another word. Let's say the letters I bolded and underlined below are the circled letters in the puzzle:

You can enter these four letters in the jumble solver to get the word KICK, solving the final portion of the word puzzle.

Jumble Solver Example 2

Now let's say you're expected to unscramble the jumbled words below to form a meaningful sentence and then fill in the blank:

SECLO ___ ESBETIW ONW

When you enter the letters of each separate word, one word at a time, into a word jumble solver, you will get this phrase as the answer:

CLOSE ___ WEBSITE NOW

You will then be able to easily determine what the missing word is:

CLOSE THE WEBSITE NOW

How to Play Jumble Puzzles

Many individuals, especially newbies, just guess a variety of possible words as answers to jumble puzzles. Sometimes it works, but more often, and as you climb higher levels in these word puzzle games, you may find it difficult to actually solve them.

So, let's talk about how to play word jumble puzzles while at the same time having fun with them.

First, note that a jumble word puzzle provides you with at least one word (though you may get multiple words) that you will need to unjumble. To solve them, it is a good practice to enter the letters as they are originally presented into a daily jumble solver tool. Don't mind the word length, just enter them as they appear and relax while the word jumble cheat does all the work.

Personally, I have used word finders, jumble solvers, a scrabble helper, a scrabble word finder, and a jumble crossword solver to unjumble words. You can try these tools yourself on this website to see how helpful they are while solving word jumble puzzles or other word games.

More Word Jumble Solver Examples

Using a jumble word solver is very easy and helpful. You will be glad you came across it. Here are some more examples of the tool at work:

  • CNWAALLOE gives ALLOWANCE
  • UPSO gives SOUP
  • REOCTCR gives CORRECT
  • EIRWT gives WRITE
  • EDB gives BED

When to Use a Word Jumble Solver

A jumble solver comes in handy in many contexts. This tool helps you to quickly find solutions to Text Twist or a daily jumble puzzle. It is also useful when playing a variety of language games. It can rearrange scrambled words or form words using letter combinations. Basically, it gives you a head start when dealing with jumbled letters.

When playing a newly discovered word game or a level in such a game that you've been stuck on for a long time, a word finder will easily help you to progress while winning you more points. If you find a certain daily jumble challenging and you're looking for the remaining letter to complete your word game, getting word jumble help from a tool can easily get you out of that situation.

As mentioned earlier, a jumble solver will not only help newbies unjumble words, but it will also help them get familiar with word puzzles while at the same time improving their vocabulary. It feels good to know there's a way out if you get stuck, which can drive you to learn even more.

Using a Jumble Word Solver with Multiple-Word Answers

As you most likely know by now, word games don't always provide individual letters or a single word. You may come across a puzzle where you need to deal with multiple words. It doesn't have to be a specific online or offline game. There are several situations that fit this context. It could be a real-life situation like an elementary school student's vocabulary exercise, some kind of problem-solving test, or even trivia.

Note that the tool doesn't support unjumbling multiple words at the same time. You will have to solve jumble puzzles a single word at a time.

Jumble Solving 2 Words

To get started with using a world solver tool, you may try unjumbling two words.  For instance, let's take a look at the following words:

  • KIALWNG MHEO gives WALKING HOME
  • MLNGCPOMI QCNITESEHU gives COMPILING TECHNIQUES
  • BJLEUDM RDOW gives JUMBLED WORD
  • BWRINAO EIVW gives RAINBOW VIEW
  • TERTEL BCMONATINSOI gives LETTER COMBINATIONS

Jumble Solving 3 Words

After trying 2 words, you may want to try a puzzle with 3 words. Let's have a look at these examples:

  • EPLSAE LALC OMM gives PLEASE CALL MOM
  • DELNOKGEW ASEBT NRNCIGOAE gives KNOWLEDGE BEATS IGNORANCE

Tips to Unjumble Words

There is no specific manual to follow when unjumbling words. However, there are tips that can help you solve jumbled word puzzles. Let's take a look some of the most helpful tips.

  • Separate all vowels and consonants.
  • Try to match specific consonants with vowels to make short words, and write them on paper. Then extend them by adding more letters. Here's a simple example: Adding "G" to "O" gives "GO." Then you can add "T" to arrive at the word "GOT." From there, perhaps you can spell "FORGOT" or "GOTTEN."
  • Use common prefixes and suffixes, as they will help you lengthen words. For example, you can often add -ED to make a word past tense.
  • Try to make the longest words possible. You are likely to get more points by doing so.
  • If you can easily shuffle your letters, you should use it to your advantage. Seeing your letters in a new order often sparks new ideas.

Daily Jumble Solving Tips

  • Identify unique letters: Begin by scanning the jumbled letters for any unique characters, such as Q, X, or Z, which might help narrow down possible words.
  • Look for common letter patterns: Search for familiar letter combinations, such as “ing,” “ed,” “tion,” or “est,” as these can often help you identify parts of the word.
  • Rearrange letters: Physically rearrange the jumbled letters using paper or an online tool. This can help you visualize potential words more easily.
  • Form smaller words: Try to form smaller words using subsets of the given letters. This may help you recognize letter patterns that contribute to the final solution.
  • Use consonant and vowel patterns: Consider the usual arrangements of consonants and vowels in words. For example, consonants often surround vowels, and certain consonants tend to appear together (e.g., “th,” “ch,” “sh”).
  • Work on one word at a time: If the jumble consists of multiple words, focus on solving one word at a time. Solving one word may provide context clues for the others.
  • Apply context clues: If the jumble is part of a puzzle with a theme or accompanying image, use these context clues to guide your guesses.
  • Check word lengths: Take note of the length of the jumbled word. This can help eliminate possibilities and narrow down your search.
  • Eliminate incorrect combinations: As you try different letter arrangements, eliminate the combinations that do not form valid words or do not fit the context.
  • Take breaks: If you feel stuck, take a short break and come back to the jumble with fresh eyes. This may help you see new patterns or possibilities.

Inside Jennifer Garner’s Parenthood Journey, in Her Own Words

Jennifer garner has never held back on the ups and downs of her motherhood journey as she co-parents kids violet, 18, seraphina, 15, and samuel, 12, with ex ben affleck. here are her quotes..

Jennifer Garner 's favorite alias? Mom.

After all, the 13 Going on 30 star has her and ex Ben Affleck 's kids Violet , 18, Seraphina , 15, and Samuel , 12, in mind with everything she does.

"Once I had kids, I began asking myself, 'How do I want to spend my time?'" she told Today Parents . "'How do I want to make what little impact I can on the world?'"

And whether it's through taking up meaningful movie roles or advocating for other children , Garner will "try to be the best version of myself and to have faith that they're watching me as carefully when I do something right as they do when I roll through a stop sign."

She added "I give it all I can."

In fact, when Garner parted ways with Affleck in 2015 after 10 years of marriage, she and the Oscar winner made it their mission to "go forward with love and friendship" in co-parenting their kids.

"No one needs to hate him for me," the Alias alum noted in a 2016 interview with Vanity Fair . "I don’t hate him."

Through the years, Garner has kept a friendly bond with Affleck, 51. In 2023, she penned a sweet tribute to the Justice League actor, writing that "no one loves their kids like you love ours."

"Shout out to BGA," she added at the time. "Happy Father’s Day, Ben!"

And recently, the former couple proved that their united front was stronger than ever when they came together with Ben's wife Jennifer Lopez , as well as the singer's 16-year-old twins Max  and Emme with ex Marc Anthony , to celebrate Samuel's graduation.

For more insight into Garner's parenthood journey, in her own words, keep reading.

United Front

When it comes to co-parenting, Jennifer Garner will always maintain a cordial relationship with her ex-husband Ben Affleck for the sake of their children: Violet , Seraphina and Samuel .

“It’s not Ben’s job to make me happy," Garner shared in a 2016 Vanity Fair interview . "The main thing is these kids―and we’re completely in line with what we hope for them."

She continued, "Sure, I lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter’s wedding. But you should see their faces when he walks through the door. And if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you’re going to be friends with that person.”

Humble Beginnings

Though she and Affleck are both successful actors, Garner doesn't want their kids to live inside a Hollywood bubble.

"It's really important for my kids to see that everyone doesn’t have the lives they see in Los Angeles," she told Southern Living . "That doesn’t reflect the rest of the world. I want them to grow up with the Southern values I had―to look at people when they say hello and to stop and smell the roses."

Model Behavior

And that's why her parenting style is very hands-on.

“I think teaching your kids anything is a lifelong job and certainly values are something―you can’t just say, ‘Here, have values!’" she previously told E! News . "You have to show them that you have values."

Explaining how setting a good example is the "most important job," the Alias alum added that she and Affleck—who she split with in 2015 after 10 years of marriage —hope that their kids "see and appreciate the work we do."

Go With the Flow

Of course, there is no one standard way of parenting.

“As much as you think that, ’OK, I’m going to follow what this person says,'" Garner noted during a 2016 appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers , "it’s not up to you, dude."

Advising parents to "let it go" when it comes to their worries, the 13 Going on 30 star continued, "You’re going to struggle. It’s going to suck—just like for everyone else."

Parenting With Purpose

For Garner, the key to maintaining a good structure for her kids is setting up boundaries and rules.

"You just have to do it," she explained to Us Weekly . "It’s not pretty. I don’t think that I’m always the best at it, but I try my best to be consistent and for them to know what they can expect from me."

And when she does  experience a roadblock in her parenting journey, Garner believes "every day is a fresh start."

"You always can say, ‘Today, we’re going to try this!'" she told People . "And if it goes horribly, you can say, ‘Today, we’re throwing that out, and we’re trying this!’"

The actress added, "That’s part of what I like about being a mom in general."

Garner's motherhood joy extends into the cinematic universe as well.

"I’m really glad that I’m playing moms," she told Today , "because there’s no more rich time in women’s lives than when you have your babies."

A brave — and oddly endearing — memoir about surviving breast cancer

In “Mourning a Breast,” the Hong Kong writer Xi Xi tells a story that defies all expectations.

The Hong Kong writer and poet Xi Xi introduces her book “ Mourning a Breast ” in a straightforward way: “This is a book about breasts.” Xi Xi was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989, at the age of 52. In the months that followed, she underwent a mastectomy, followed by radiation and hormone therapy, all while caring for her ailing mother. Originally published in Taiwan in 1992, her genre-bending exploration of those experiences has now been faithfully translated into English by Jennifer Feeley. It is a book that combines introspection and intellect to form a kaleidoscopic and compassionate account of an afflicted body and a society in transition.

New York Review Books, which published this edition, describes her book as a semi-autobiographical novel, but Xi Xi (a pen name that is always given in full) would probably shrug. “Dear reader, you’re welcome to categorize it however you’d like; this time, it’s up to you,” she writes in the preface. She even tells us to just read whichever parts suit our fancy: “Perhaps it’s not worth spending too much time reading this book — you’re better off just flipping through a few chapters and choosing the ones that most interest you.”

Disregard Xi Xi’s humility. While the chapters — each with curious titles such as “Thrice Strikin the White Bone Demon” and “Marvelous Tales of Fruits and Vegetables” — can stand alone, it’s worth taking the time to read the book in its entirety and let yourself become enveloped in her world.

We begin in the women’s changing room of a public pool, where Xi Xi, a self-professed avid but clumsy swimmer, stands beside other women, her thoughts alternating between her own mortality and the sensuousness around her. “The pitter-patter of falling water echoed in my ears, and it was as though I could hear the squelching of soap on women’s skin. Supple flesh, water, the sweet scent of soap. When could I go swimming again? I didn’t know. I had no way of guessing, understanding, exploring, or predicting my fate.”

In the chapters that follow, we accompany her into exam rooms and surgical wards, through a bathroom renovation and on long walks. On the day of her biopsy, she brings with her four copies of “Madame Bovary,” in French, Chinese and English, perusing each translation before her doctor interrupts. On another day, she becomes a flaneuse, taking us through both the landmarks and lesser-known passageways of cosmopolitan Hong Kong. She pauses in an arcade, gazes into the shimmering windows of a lingerie shop and wonders, “Is there a lingerie shop that sells bras for only one breast?” Not in this arcade, she decides.

“Mourning a Breast” resists the conventions of the breast cancer memoir. Rather than plotting a singular, heroic journey between biopsy and remission, punctuated by platitudes and metaphors of war , Xi Xi learns to listen.

“My body began to speak more and more frequently, protesting a host of injustices, as though a revolution had begun inside me,” she writes. She turns to her love of languages and literature, as well as care from friends and community, for support. Along the way, she learns another language — that of the body. “I was body illiterate,” she admits.

Xi Xi’s writing is most affecting when she employs a stream-of-consciousness style, with vivid, dissociative fragments reflecting the disease’s confounding etiology and devastating effects. The morning after her mastectomy, her breast, which she refers to as “my specimen,” is presented to her in a plastic bag at her bedside. Her sentences are jumbled and jarring as she tries to process what she sees. She recalls “Strange Tales From the Liaozhai Studio,” a compendium of short stories from the 17th century, and the “Heart Sutra” before remembering a serial killer who lived in her neighborhood and kept his victims’ breasts preserved in jars. The paragraph becomes a whirlpool of thoughts as she attempts to reconcile her body and mind.

Xi Xi’s intellect and candor find kinship in the cancer narratives of Susan Sontag and Audre Lorde, but her style most closely anticipates that of Anne Boyer, who reckoned with a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer in “The Undying,” which won a Pulitzer Prize in 2020. Like “Mourning a Breast,” Boyer’s book is composed of short sections that push against narrative convention. But where Boyer’s words burn with righteous fury at cancer’s manifold injustices and indignities, Xi Xi offers moments of lightness. In a short chapter called “Non-Stories,” she presents unrelated tidbits about cancer drawn from the news. The last is about a chubby amphibian shaped like a cancer cell, leading some to call it “cancer cell frog.” “The name is weird, but the frog itself looks fascinating and cute. It’s flat and round, like a red bean paste pancake,” she observes with amusement.

Xi Xi is an endearing writer. Her oeuvre, which contains short stories, novels, poetry and essays, holds a prominent place in the literature of Hong Kong. “Mourning a Breast” is significant because it is one of the first cancer narratives to be written from the perspective of a woman in the Sinophere. “Because it isn’t suitable to let others look, nor is it easy to talk about, it remains unnoticed,” she writes of the illness. “It’s like a disease that only has an implied meaning but lacks any explicit signifiers.” Her book broke the silence at a time when Hong Kong had the highest rates of breast cancer diagnosis in Asia.

Xi Xi was also writing during a pivotal moment in the city’s history. Residents were grappling with the impending handover of the territory from Britain to China in 1997, with many — including Xi Xi’s family doctor — preparing to emigrate. Others expressed their anxiety and grief about the city’s political future by taking to the streets to support Beijing’s pro-democracy student protesters in 1989. Xi Xi only alludes to these transformative events, but against this political backdrop, the discovery of a malignant, foreign growth in one’s breast could be interpreted as a somatic metaphor for betrayal.

What, in the end, are we to take from Xi Xi’s account? Perhaps what is so remarkable is the simplicity of her message: Take good care of yourself and those around you. “What do I have compared to others in this world? Wealth, good looks, knowledge, health? I have none of those, but I do have friends,” she writes. Xi Xi died peacefully of heart failure in late 2022, at 85, surrounded by loved ones. Her voice lives on, reaching out to us as a friend might, generous and kind.

Mimi Cheng is a cultural historian and writer. She is at work on her first book.

Medvedev’s Wimbledon defeat shows how cruel tennis can be

More than two years have passed since a man other than Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner won a Grand Slam title. Of the last eight, four have gone to Djokovic, three to Alcaraz, and one to Sinner.

To win a Grand Slam title, beating one of them likely won’t be enough; it will take beating two. If one of the three best players on the planet doesn’t get you, another one most likely will. At the moment, there is one guy in particular who keeps getting got.

Daniil Medvedev is currently ranked No 5 in the world, behind Alexander Zverev, but over the period in which Djokovic, Alcaraz and Sinner have won the last eight slams, he has been the one to come the closest to breaking up the oligopoly.

During that period, Medvedev has reached two finals and two semifinals, and crucially, he’s beaten two of those three players along the way. But both times he’s done that, he’s then run into one of the others — and they’ve been too strong.

Before Wimbledon, it was a moment for someone to step into the limelight — or so it seemed. Coming into Wimbledon, Djokovic looked barely ready to play, and Alcaraz looked uncertain on the grass at Queen’s. Both men are in the final.

Wimbledon women’s final: Why there will be eight different winners in eight years

In the 17 years between 2000 and 2016, six women won the Wimbledon title — and the two winners with the most trophies between them had the same surname. Venus and Serena Williams’ combined 12 titles brought an atmosphere of inevitability, occasionally and happily injected with surprise.

Since then, including Serena’s last title in 2016, seven different women have won Wimbledon in seven tournaments, with the 2020 edition having been cancelled due to Covid-19. Williams; Garbine Muguruza; Angelique Kerber; Simona Halep; Ash Barty; Elena Rybakina; and Marketa Vondrousova.

On Saturday July 13, an eighth will follow, when Italy’s Jasmine Paolini, who had never won a tour-level match on grass until last month, takes on Barbora Krejcikova, the Czech whose best result at the All England Club prior to this year was the fourth round.

Why? Let The Athletic answer below.

Wimbledon women’s final: Why there will be eight different winners in eight years

'Forza, forza, forza': How Jasmine Paolini became a Wimbledon finalist

'Forza, forza, forza': How Jasmine Paolini became a Wimbledon finalist

Modern tennis is all about the “big.” Big three. Big four; new big four. Big serve. Big game. Bigger-than-ever players hitting bigger-than-ever balls. Modern tennis, Jasmine Paolini would like a word with you. At this most improbable moment, Paolini — all 5ft 3in (160cm) of her — is the biggest thing in women’s tennis.

For the second time in five weeks, Paolini, the diminutive Italian, has forced everyone in the sport to forget everything they thought they knew about the modern version of tennis. She has reminded them of one of the things, maybe even the thing, that makes tennis special. Its champions can come in all shapes and sizes.

“Amazing,” Paolini said in the glow of Thursday evening after beating Croatia’s Donna Vekic 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 to reach the Wimbledon final, five weeks after doing the same thing at Roland Garros in Paris.

Now, Paolini, a 28-year-old from Tuscany with one of the great heads of curly hair, which she ties into its greatest when she plays, is up to No 7 in the world and No 3 in the race to the end-of-year WTA Finals in Riyadh. She’ll be top five in the rankings after Wimbledon ends.

Italians came for Jannik Sinner, the world No 1 and one of the favorites for the men’s title. Physically hampered, he lost in the quarterfinals to Daniil Medvedev. The Italians have stayed for Paolini and Musetti. Read more below.

Now, let's look at the women's final tomorrow...

...between Barbora Krejcikova and Jasmine Paolini.

Djokovic hails Sunday's final opponent Carlos Alcaraz

Speaking about his opponent in Sunday's showpiece event, Djokovic continued: "He is a great example as a young player that has a well-balanced life on and off the court. He has great values in his family, a lot of charisma.

"He is deservedly one of the greatest 21-year-olds we have seen in this sport. We will see a lot of him in the future no doubt. He is going to win many more Grand Slams, but hopefully in two days not this one! In the future when I retire in about 15 years! I am joking...

"Jokes aside, he has already beaten me here in a thrilling five-setter - I don't expect anything less than that. He is complete as a player as they come. It is going to take my best ability to beat him on Sunday."

He deserves his flowers, too, Lorenzo.

A brilliant shot-maker and, at just 22, a fine prospect too.

Hopefully we'll see more of him on Centre Court.

Djokovic opens up on doubts of knee surgery

When asked about if there were any doubts about returning to Wimbledon so soon after knee surgery, Djokovic added: "There was plenty of doubt. I came into London eight days before the tournament started. I didn’t know (if I would play) and I was keeping everything open until the day of the draw.

"I have played a couple of practice sets with top plays and that proved to me I was in a good enough state to not just be at Wimbledon, but to go deep into the tournament.

"That kind of mentality is there and is ever-present. Thank you to the team members for helping me."

Novak Djokovic: 'I don't want to stop here'

Novak Djokovic: 'I don't want to stop here'

Speaking on court after the match, Novak Djokovic said: "I have said it many times: Wimbledon has been a childhood dream for me to play it and to win it.

"It is worth repeating. I was a seven-year-old boy watching the bombs fly over my head and dreaming of being on the most important court in the world which is here in Wimbledon. I was constructing Wimbledon trophies out of any material in the room!

"I have tremendous support from my family and my wife has been with me for many years, and my children too. It has been an incredible journey. I try not to take it for granted every time I find myself on this unique court.

"Obviously during the match it is business time, trying to do your work and I try to outplay my opponent. I am satisfied and pleased, but I don’t want to stop here – hopefully I get my hands on the trophy."

Super stats from Novak

Novak Djokovic has now won 97 matches at Wimbledon and is now fourth placed on the all-time list for the most singles victories at the tournament among men and women, going ahead of Chris Evert (96). Only Serena Williams (98), Roger Federer (105) and Martina Navratilova (120) have won more.

If Djokovic wins on Sunday, he will lift the title a record-equalling eighth time and go level with Swiss icon Roger Federer on the all-time list of men's singles champions at SW19.

Now, let's hear from the Serb...

Djokovic reaches Wimbledon final five weeks after knee surgery

Novak Djokovic set up a Wimbledon rematch with Carlos Alcaraz by beating Lorenzo Musetti, 6-4, 7-6, 6-3 on Centre Court on Friday, concluding his run to the final that started just 25 days after surgery on a torn meniscus in his right knee. Five weeks after that procedure, he is in his tenth Wimbledon final.

Despite some stunning shots and quality point construction from Musetti, Djokovic effectively countered the Italian’s variation in speed and spin from his backhand slice.

Djokovic broke in the very first game, hitting a backhand pass to take the lead and forcing another three break points at 5-3, which Musetti saved to force the No 2 seed to serve out.

In the second, the Italian reached a tiebreak, but won just two points, and Djokovic took the momentum into the third, again breaking in the fifth game and nosing ahead far enough to stave off Musetti.

Djokovic now awaits defending champion Alcaraz on Sunday, in a mouthwatering rerun of last year’s final, which the Spaniard won in five sets. Read more below.

Another controversial moment

Another controversial moment

After the match, Djokovic shook hands with Musetti and the umpire, then immediately held out his racket in front of him and played it like a violin.

There was a chorus of boos, before he raised his hands to the other side of the crowd, drawing mostly cheers.

Djokovic's 37th Grand Slam final

Pretty incredible numbers.

NOVAK DJOKOVIC IS INTO THE FINAL!

That's it! Lorenzo Musetti goes long and Novak Djokovic is into the final at Wimbledon again!

The second seed wraps it up 6-4, 7-6(2), 6-4.

Tension in the air...

Tension in the air...

Novak Djokovic 6-4, 7-6, 5-4 Lorenzo Musetti*

Potentially the final game of the match. The tension hangs thick in the SW19 air. Brilliant point from Musetti to begin, side-to-side and then an emphatic winner to Djokovic's left. Shouts of 'Lorenzo! Lorenzo!' countered with 'Come on Novak!' before the umpire, rightly, tells people to settle down.

Then Djokovic goes long and he looks questioningly to the umpire, who confirms it. 0-30. More shouts of support for Lorenzo. The atmosphere is rocking now. Ah, Musetti saves one overhand smash but can only offer up a dolly in return. Novak whacks it away with annoyance, like swatting an obnoxious fly.

Massive serve, unreturned, 30-all. Djokovic two points from the final. What a shot from Musetti! A decent serve from Novak and the Italian throws the kitchen sink at the return. It flashes away for a sublime winner. Break point...

NO! Ah, Musetti was on top of a rally and could have finished it but nets under little pressure. He sinks to his knees. I think that was the moment. Novak, wide-eyed, points to his temple at someone in the crowd. Interesting. Deuce. Then Musetti hits a forehand past Djokovic's nose, but it's long.

Advantage Djokovic, and match point. His second. The final beckons...

Match point to Novak Djokovic - saved!

*Novak Djokovic 6-4, 7-6, 5-4 Lorenzo Musetti

Oh no, Lorenzo... Error upon error sees Musetti go 0-40 down very quickly.

Serve and volley, 15-40. A disguised drop volley at the net, 30-40. Two out of three (saved) ain't bad, as Meat Loaf almost sang.

And a Musetti serve that looked out goes uncalled, Djokovic misses, and glares at his box in frustration. Now Djokovic nets after there may have been a shout mid-point, and looks angrily towards the culprit. Advantage Musetti, who is playing to stay in the tournament.

And he fires away a forehand winner to bring more massive cheers on Centre Court! Novak Djokovic will have to serve it out. Can he do so?

Djokovic one game from the final

Novak Djokovic 6-4, 7-6, 5-3 Lorenzo Musetti*

Lovely drop shot from Musetti, Djokovic complains about a shot earlier in the rally he thought was long, but two big serves (the second followed by a powerful volley at the net) make it 30-15.

30-all, nice shot from Musetti, but Djokovic wraps up the game with more unstoppable serving.

Medvedev ‘said something in Russian’ in escaping Wimbledon default

Medvedev ‘said something in Russian’ in escaping Wimbledon default

Daniil Medvedev narrowly escaped being defaulted from his Wimbledon semi-final against Carlos Alcaraz after aiming abuse at umpire Eva Asderaki-Moore on Centre Court.

With the Russian No 5 seed serving at 5-3, 30-40, Alcaraz aimed a short forehand drop-shot cross-court, which Medvedev scrambled to reach. As he scooped his racket at the ball, Asderaki-Moore called “not up,” meaning that she believed the ball had bounced twice.

After staring at his box, Medvedev then issued a verbal volley in Asderaki-Moore’s direction. Speaking after the conclusion of the match, which Alcaraz won 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4, Medvedev said, “I said something in Russian, not pleasant, but not over the line. So I got a code for it.”

When asked if he was concerned about being defaulted, he said “not at all because, as I say, I didn’t say anything too bad.”

He was also asked if he had said “small cat,” a line he infamously used about the umpire in his 2022 Australian Open semifinal against Stefanos Tsitsipas. He asked umpire Jaume Campistol to issue a code violation, and said, “if you don’t, you are a, how can I call it, a small cat.”

Today, he said, “I would say small cat, the words are nice, but the meaning was not nice here. The meaning was better.” Read more below.
