Great 5 days awsy

The whole experience was a treat from start to finish, the journey the hotel the food the outings. couldn’t fault anything

Thank you to K M Travel and Driver/Courier John and a very good safe drive down to the Evans Hotel Llandudno for the Christmas break and his knowledge of the area giving us good information about it and every morning checking if we were ok what a credit to the company,

Went to Torquay with this company. Dave was our driver, he was knowledgeable, friendly and A really good driver. Our hotel, The Headland Hotel, was really well maintained, set in beautiful grounds in a great position and included a spa with pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room...fabulous! Special mention needed for the staff...friendly & helpful. This trip was excellent throughout...only ‘tiny’ fault, would have loved one of the trips to be to a beautiful stately home, garden or place of interest. Well done KM!

Good if you want to be picked up from your door but if you are not then you can spend an hour going all around Barnsley area picking up before you even start your journey. Just been to St Annes and the only reason we booked this was because it goes without saying that the driver will be taking you on a journey to the well known Fleetwood Market, well not our driver. The other drivers from the other coaches took their passengers there, maybe we should have thumbed a lift.

Just returned from a 5 day trip to the Isle of Wight with this professionally run company. Picked up by taxi and didn't have to handle our luggage again until it was delivered to our room door at the hotel, fantastic! Set off on Monday in terrible snowy conditions but our coach was driven by Dean who proved to be an excellent driver. The journey went to plan and we even arrived early to our hotel in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. Good range of trips out organised but as we had been to the island before we chose to take advantage of the hotel facilities, pool & sauna, and then took ourselves around the sites. On the way home Dean took us via the beautiful village of Woodstock. We took advantage of this delightful stop and visited a gorgeous coffee shop and took in some of the sites....much, much better than spending an hour wondering around the usual service station stop! Finally dropped off at home with our luggage after a super holiday. Thank you KM for a well organised & value for money trip and a special thank you to Dean.

We have been travelling with K M coach tours of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, for a number of years. This year we have been on 4 coach holiday's with the company, 3 times to Blackpool, & once to Llandudno. We booked for a 5 day coach holiday to Blackpool, from Monday 20th to Friday 24th November 2017, staying at the Manhattan hotel. We selected a home pick up by mini bus, this costing £8 per person return,to connect with our coach in Barnsley, where has the mini bus driver takes your luggage from you at home, to which next time you see your luggage, is at your hotel, which is delivered to your room, then when coming home, your luggage is collected from your hotel room, then you see it when you arrive home, a very good service, especially for anyone being disabled. So the £8 charge for pick up is well worth it, has we live about 11 miles from the coach depot, people living closer pay £4 per person for home pick ups. We were picked up from home at 9.50am, with several other pick ups, the main coach then leaving for Blackpool, at 10.50am, with a half hour stop at Birch services, we arrived 2.20pm at our hotel. Luggage was delivered to our room. During the 5 day holiday, K M did a trip to Thornton Cleveleys, Fleetwood & Freeport on Tuesday 21st November, then Wednesday 22nd November a 3 hour visit to Southport. Friday 24th November we travelled home,calling at Birch services, where the driver gave us a glass of sherry. Back to Barnsley, our mini bus connection home, to Swinton,South Yorkshire again a good holiday for us. K M coach tours a excellent company.

Lovely holiday

Just back from a T&T break at Exmouth. The hotel and food were brilliant, and the driver James was the best. However we had a bad start after waiting nearly one and a half hours in cold and rain at Ilkeston for the coach. I know there was traffic problems, but there have been a way of either delaying the taxi or we could have gone to the local cafe.

Brilliant holiday to Torquay, tinsel & turkey 20 th November to Belgrave Sands hotel. The hotel was great, the trips to Brixham not so good. The only downside was our driver, who really wasn’t interested in his passengers comfort at all. This was our first experience of coach travel, so went with some friends & an open mind. The temperature on the coach was often 26* & the Xmas music so loud it was impossible to hold any conversation with your partner. When asked to turn both down at our first stop, the answer was “I’ll turn it off then”. Many people were unhappy with the driver. He was the only reason I didn’t give it 5*, but it’s made me reluctant to book with KM again if he is a sample of their drivers.

We are an 87 yrs old couple who booked a trip to Isle of Man 5/4/23- 9/4/23 with KM travel. It was raining when the driver dropped us off at our destination - The Rutland Hotel in Douglas. Before even entering the hotel, my wife had a severe fall (backwards) on the hotel steps, witnessed by other travellers including our driver of the coach. Her fall resulted in a 7 day hospital admission sustaining significant injuries, 9 broken ribs and fractured pelvis. On arrival back in Chesterfield bus station the KM Travel representative was there to greet us therefore was fully aware that my wife was still injured as she was not mobile enough to access the taxi’s and a car had to be specifically arranged the bus station to take us back home. We have been home from the trip now for 1 month and to date there has been no contact from KM Travel at all. The least I would have have expected would have been a courtesy telephone call to check on our progress. I telephoned KM Travel but the response I received from Sam (female) was shocking. She showed absolutely no compassion, and her rude comment was ‘we can’t check on everybody who has accidents’. She said ‘you would be surprised how many accidents there are’ . She also stated that she doesn’t care (later denied saying this when challenged) , On reflection I feel the customer service aftercare from KM Travel was extremely poor and would not recommend using them under any circumstances.

Travelled to Weymouth with Eric dreadful man if he treated my mother like that I would punch him in the face was vile to everyone especially the really older ones been with km before and never had a problem would definitely recommend them but not Eric 😡

First class service from booking to returning home, picked up from home for a small charge by minibus and taken to depot for the main coach all suitcases transferred by staff, verry good clean coach Tony our driver courier was a credit to the company.

Lovely holiday
