2024 Maid of the Mist Ticket Prices

You can purchase your individual Maid of the Mist tickets online or at our ticket office on the day of your visit. Booking for a group? Get information on group tours  here.

Important Maid of the Mist ticket information

Tickets purchased online are valid any day we are open during the season, but reservations for a specific date or time are not accepted. All passengers, including those with online tickets, will be boarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets purchased in person at our ticket office are only valid on the purchase day.

The prices are in U.S. dollars and include the cost of the elevator, which is necessary to reach our landing.

Method of payment — Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express. Personal checks are not accepted.

Rates and the schedule are subject to change without notice.

The ticket office closes 15 minutes before the last scheduled departure.

Access to the Lower Landing and Boarding Area will be through the Main Ticket Plaza Ramp/Elevators. Please note the Funicular will remain closed until further notice. For updates visit the website .

All boarding is located at the Lower Landing in the Great Gorge. The entrance is located at the Niagara City Cruises Ticket Plaza at 5920 Niagara Parkway in Niagara Falls, Canada .

Niagara City Cruises does not have a dedicated parking lot, however, there are plenty of parking lots nearby. In addition, all major public parking, hotels and attractions are conveniently connected to the Niagara City Cruises Ticket Plaza by the WEGO Transit system. Niagara City Cruises guests should allow time to park and arrive on time for their scheduled tour departure.

Niagara City Cruises catamarans, Niagara Wonder and Niagara Thunder, feature on-board amenities including tiered decks for 360-degree unobstructed viewing, dry viewing areas, on-board passenger washrooms and audio commentary during the tour.  All boats are ODA compliant for accessibility.

Maid of the Mist Boat Tour

Hornblower Niagara Cruises – Daily Schedule and Tickets

Niagara Falls, Canada, has many tourist attractions – both natural and man-made. The most popular attraction is the Hornblower Niagara Cruise – a boat ride to the Falls. This seasonal attraction opens on March 28, 2024 and comes to an end until December (Last day of season – TBC.)

During peak hours of operation, there is a boat every 15 minutes.

How to Get to Hornblower Niagara Falls Boat Ride?

Hornblower Niagara Cruises is located on Niagara Parkway, at the bottom of Clifton Hill where it intersects with Niagara Parkway ( address: 5920 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 6X8 ).

Your Hornblower ticket gives you access to the Hornblower Niagara Funicular, a unique cable car system that takes you to the foot of the Niagara Gorge where the boarding area is located.

Voyage to the Falls Boat Tour – Daytime Tour

The Hornblower Voyage to the Falls Boat Tour is a 20-minute boat ride that takes you to the foot of the American, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe Falls.

Boat rides start at 8:30 AM. The closing time is 8:30 PM May to mid October and 4:00-5:30 PM October to November.

Experience heavy mist from the Falls. Passengers will be given souvenir rain ponchos for protection from the Falls’ spray.

Falls Fireworks Cruise – Nighttime Tour

Enjoy the magical looking illuminated Niagara Falls, the city lights, the starlit sky, and the fireworks that light up the night sky at 10:00 PM.

This boat ride is a light mist experience that is available only when fireworks are scheduled. There is music and a bar on-board for passengers to enjoy. You can enjoy fine Niagara wine or beer while watching the light show and fireworks!

T he 20-minute Voyage to the Falls boat tour that gets you as close as possible to the magnificent Niagara Falls. Journey past the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and into the heart of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls aboard Niagara City Cruises. This legendary boat tour takes place aboard a state-of-the-art catamaran. Hornblower Niagara City Cruises is the official supplier to Niagara Parks, providing Canada’s only Niagara Falls boat tour experience.

Reservations are not necessary and tickets can be purchased at the attraction ticket window. During a typical season the boat rides below Niagara Falls opens in late April or early May and runs until mid to late October.

All guests are issued a disposable plastic poncho to wear during the tour which will keep you reasonably dry. When the boat gets close to the Canadian Falls is where you will encounter the majority of mist. If you wish to stay dry simply move to another location on the boat where there is less mist. The tour lasts 15-20 minutes. For clothing, summer is for shorts and t-shirts. A pair of beach shoes or sneakers work fine but don’t wear anything you wouldn’t want to get damp. For spring and fall weather you need to dress appropriately for the local weather and just expect to get slightly damp. Usually you will have the ability to get great photos right up until you get close to the base of the Canadian Falls. Remember that even a slight mist on your camera lens will ruin any photo!

The entrance is in Queen Victoria Park less than a minute walk from the base of Clifton Hill. Parking is available at one of three very large parking lots near Queen Victoria Park. The closest parking lot which does require taking stairs to the park is on Clifton Hill and aptly named Clifton Hill Parking . For navigation use:  4960 Clifton Hill Parking , Niagara Falls Ontario Canada.

Skylon Tower parking lot is very close to the Clifton Hill Parking lot and you can either take stairs or the sidewalk on Murray St to get to the park. For navigation use:  Skylon Tower parking lot 5200 Robinson Street Niagara Falls Ontario Canada.

Niagara Parks parking lot use:  Niagara Falls Lot #1 6650 Niagara Pkwy, Niagara Falls Ontario Canada. 

If the Niagara Parks lot is full when you enter they will direct you to one of their satellite lots which then requires using the WEGO shuttle bus service. This lot usually never fills to capacity except during the months of July and August. If you plan on visiting the brink of the Canadian Falls at Table Rock during your visit this is the most convenient parking lot to use.

Over 70% of visitors rate the Holiday Inn as very good to excellent. Location is great as it’s close to the Falls and the Fallsview Casino. There is also a great selection of nearby restaurants at the Hilton Fallsview and the Casino.

It is only a six minute walk to Queen Victoria Park and fifteen minutes to the Boat ride below the Falls ticket window. If you are not interested in all the kitsch of Clifton Hill and want to be closer to the Table Rock House and Journey Behind the Falls this is the place for you!

While the Best Western is not within walking distance of the Falls we think this is a high quality hotel for the price. Reviews are almost always very good with very few complaints.

For those of you who might visit Niagara Falls during the off-season the large swimming pool is very inviting and of course the kids just love it.

This Super 8 is conveniently located near shopping, many restaurants and only a 10 minute drive to the Falls. Hotel features free Wi-Fi and a seasonal outdoor pool. All rooms include a refrigerator, cable TV, work desk, private bathroom and coffee maker. Visitors can use the NFTA seasonal trolley to access local attractions. On-site business center and 24-hour front desk. Free parking.

The ThriftLodge Clifton Hill is about as close as you can stay to the Falls and attractions. The modern guest rooms at Thriftlodge at the Falls provide coffee-making facilities and cable TV. Free Wi-Fi is available. Guests can relax in the outdoor heated pool on site. A laundromat and a 24-hour front desk are also provided for guest convenience.

This once per evening 40-minute Niagara Falls Fireworks Cruise departs at 9:30 PM in the summer months and will take you up the Niagara River on the Canadian side in style, with music and an onboard licensed bar where you order local craft beer and wines. Relax and enjoy your trip past the American and Bridal Veil Falls and upto the base of the enormous Canadian Horseshoe Falls, which is also lit up in the evening.

All boarding is located at the Lower Landing in the Great Gorge. The ramp/elevator entrance to the lower landing and boarding area is located at the Niagara City Cruises Main Ticket Plaza, 5920 Niagara Pkwy, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 6X8 (look for the large white sails next to the Zipline to the Falls Tower).

• Gates in the Main Ticket Plaza close at 9:15 pm sharp. Late arrivals will not be permitted. ToNiagara is not responsible for late arrivals or missed cruises.
• The Falls Fireworks Cruise is a Light-Mist experience; however, guests may still get wet depending on the wind direction.
• Complimentary Recyclable Mist Poncho included.
• When travelling to Niagara in the Spring (April to mid-June) and Fall (September to November), light jackets, sweaters, rain jackets, and running shoes are great.
• During the Summer months (mid-June to August), a comfortable pair of walking shoes is highly recommended. Light jackets for the evening are also encouraged as temperatures are generally 5 - 10 degrees cooler by the water.
• Please also consider dressing according to the current weather conditions to ensure a comfortable experience.
• Please note ToNiagara is not responsible for the fireworks display and cannot be held liable in the event the fireworks display is cancelled or delayed shortened for any reason.

Our guides are super easy to spot when you arrive. Our uniforms are a light blue polo and khaki pants/shorts so you can easily find us in a crowd.

Our tour guides, just like other tour guides and service industry workers around the world, depend on tips for an important part of their income. If at the end of this adventure you had a good time, that is the best way to let them know. On average, $5 per person is considered the standard.

• A 24-hour cancellation notice, prior to the scheduled departure time, is required for a full ticket price refund.
• Cancellation penalties of 50% of the ticket price will be applied to all cancellations within the 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour departure time up to 2 hours before the tours scheduled departure time.
• Refunds will NOT be allowed within 2 hours prior to a scheduled tour departure time. Sorry, no exceptions.

While getting your Pass ready, one of our attraction/Welcome Centre attendants will work with you to plan an itinerary for your visit by setting up timed tickets for the attractions included in your Pass. Timed ticketing lets you know when you’re able to join the queue for a particular attraction.

You don't have to! When buying online, passes are valid for redemption any time until the end of the validity period. When you arrive at Niagara Parks, one of our attraction staff would be happy to assist with redeeming your Pass. Not sure how long your Pass is valid? Validity dates vary by Pass, to check the validity dates of your order please refer to the Instructions section of your e-ticket. Whether you want to experience everything in one day or spread your admissions out over your entire visit, it's totally up to you!
