Last on my list of recommended places for educational tours would be this 10-acre farming facility tucked away in a rustic place in Kranji. Their educational programmes include learning about the farm, the countryside and connecting with nature. There is even a bistro called the Poison Ivy Bistro which serves wholsome and home cooked style food for families to fill their tummy after exploring the place!

Detailed Trip Itinerary

Day 1: singapore arrival (b).

Upon arrival in Singapore, students and teachers will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide, and then we transfer students for check-in and fresh breakfast. After taking a short break, students will start a journey with a short visit to the most vibrant market in Singapore, Bugis Street .

After that, we spend the rest of the day to refresh to ready for Singapore student tour.

Day 2 – Singapore Botanic Gardens – National Museum of Singapore – Singapore Flyer (B, L, D)

Today is an amazing day for exploring the beautiful city-state. We will enjoy breakfast before reaching the Singapore Botanic Gardens – a World Heritage Site, which offers a wide range of wonderful plant collections. Most importantly, the unique resources also provide students recreational and educational facilities in the wonders of nature. We will spend time on strolling around the picturesque gardens and then we take students to the oldest, grandest museum – the National Museum of Singapore. Students can take a chance to get a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Singapore.

In lunchtime, we will serve students with a special meal before taking a ride of the Singapore Flyer , which offers a bird’s eye view of panoramic views of the skyline, accompanied by a brief glimpse of Malaysia and Indonesia from the top.

Day 3 – River Safari – Singapore Zoo – Night Safari (B, L, D)

Enjoy breakfast and we will transfer students to the River Safari – Asia’s first river-themed wildlife park. Students can see exotic animals such as the squirrel monkey, maned wolf, and jaguar. After that, we head to Singapore Zoo.

After having dinner, we will take students to Night Safari to discover the animal under our guide’s control. It is an amazing experience for them to get a deeper understanding of animals, which are housed in specially designed environments that mimic their natural ecological system, highlighted by the open-air exhibits.

We complete a thrilling day with a transfer back to the hotel for relaxing and sound sleep.

Day 4 – Singapore Cable Car – Universal Studios Singapore – Wings of Time (B, L, D)

After having breakfast, we start our day with a scenic Cable Car ride from mainland Singapore to Sentosa Island . Students will get a glimpse into 360-degree views of forests, skyscrapers, and sandy beaches. After that, students will be served lunch with Singapore food before heading to Universal Studios Singapore . They can experience cutting-edge rides, shows, and attractions based on students’ favorite blockbuster films such as Puss In Boots’ Giant Journey, Battlestar Galactica many others. Most importantly, Hollywood Dreams Parade is certainly a perfect destination for students to enjoy a special holiday show that brings all your beloved characters to life.

Day 5: Gardens by the Bay – Marina Bay Sands Skypark – Shopping at Orchard Road (B, L, D)

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast to pay a visit Gardens by the Bay , which is one of the most huge and reputable parks in the bay area of Singapore. It is a great spot for students and those looking for a little bit bustling atmosphere with a breath-taking view mostly because there is a wide range of plants and trees to discover within. Students certainly will feel like they have stepped into a friendly and colorful world. Afterward, students will be served a scrumptious lunch before exploring Marina Bay Sands SkyPark . We reach the Sands SkyPark Observation Deck to get a closer insight into the heart of Singapore because this ideal place brings an impressive bird’s eye view of the beautiful country from above.

The next destination for students is Orchard Road , students will be engaged in many retail stores, food joints, malls and much more. Day 6: Bird Paradise – The Southern Ridges (B, L, D)

Start a new day with a visit to Bird Paradise, which is home to diverse species. Interestingly, students will have a great chance to hike to the waterfall and witness a 30-meter tall waterfall.

Day 7: Departure (B)

We complete our day with a special breakfast and then we transfer students back to the airport for a flight home. The school trip ends. We hope that students will return home with meaningful lessons and unforgettable experience.

However, even if he had waited 30 minutes, he wasn’t angry, rather his attitude was very kind and care us well.

After we arrived, he guided us to the meeting room of the Co-working place and offered us cups of water first. And he started the lecture about the origin, history, myth, population rates, and other useful information to understand Singapore. It was meaningful because even if we came to Singapore for start-up tour, we didn’t know much about Singapore. From the lecture, we could understand Singapore better and it helped us to understand Singapore culture and start-up ecosystem.

Second activity of the tour was touring food start-up area in block71. On the way to went to the food place, we explained about the food start-up area and recommend us about what food is popular here and what flavor it has. However, it was too crowded so we couldn’t find any available place, but guide was willing to brought us to his office. While we were eating food, he gave us information of how global economy is moving to Asia, what technologies has been developing in countries of Asia, and company’s information which offer service we need with reasonable price as an answer of our question. Plus, he even bought us nice coffees and teas with his own money. Our major is not directly related to the business and we didn’t search enough so that we didn’t have those kinds of information. So, the lunchtime with this guide “Glen” was very helpful to us and we could have relaxing time with fresh foods and coffee.

After that we had an interview time with the staff of European Venture Capital company. We’re from Korea where we don’t use English for main language. So, when we asked the questions to the staff, it didn’t make sense. However, Glen help us to organize proper sentence for asking what we want to ask. With his helping for conversation, we could learn about Venture Capital and we could get useful advice about business model, intellectual property and how to develop our idea to practical business system. It was very helpful to our team so we were so satisfied with the trip.

For the last, we visited universities which related Block71 start-up. It was also interesting experience to explore the university which related to business directly. The surprising and thankful thing was, even after finish our tour, he took us to our destination and helped our holiday-trip too. We wanted to visit the landmark places in Singapore but we didn’t know where the landmark places are and how to reach to the places. However, Glen told us what places are the landmark of the Singapore, why it becomes to landmark and useful information about holiday-trip. He even took us to the landmark places and explained about those as a holiday-tour guide. He guided us all the way we went to the Marina-bay, too. It was so grateful that he cared and guided us by spending his free time more than few hours. We are really satisfied with his guide. If I have a chance later, I will be willing to visit Singapore and sign up for this tour for longer tour. I recommend to this for other start-up CEO or students who have interested in Start-up.

I had a lot of fun and did learn a lot during the duration of the trip. It was also really convenient that everything was already planned and other things like snacks and water were provided!

I learnt a lot about universities and studying in Singapore. Also about the Singapore History and made the trip very productive!

I got the opportunity to step up to be more independent and I got to know more of how far Singapore has come. I am very thankful and very happy that because of this program, i have had a lot of fun and have made great and unforgettable memories!

창업을 시작하려는 학생으로써 알아야 할, 알면 도움이 되는, 다양한 것들을 배웠습니다. 아무도 저에게 알려주지 않았던 진심어린 조언과 한 때는 저와 비슷한 상황이였던 사람들이 어떻게 발전하였고 회사를 키우게 되었는 지에 대해 배웠습니다. 다들 공통되게 해준 조언은 실패했어도 포기하지 말라는 말이 제일 도움이 됐습니다.

As a student who wants to do start-up, I learnt many helpful things. No one has every advised me as sincerely and I also learnt how to develop my business as an individual. The most helpful advice which told by all of them was “Don’t give up even though you fail”.

I had a vague plan of start-up but by listening to detailed information, I learnt how to do start-up and what kind of thought should the founder have. It was a chance to change the thought I had about start-up. Previously, I thought start-up needs a lot of money and a somewhat brilliant Idea but through this start-up program, I felt that with passion and interests, the opportunity to do start-up will be easy. From visiting university's incubating system to visiting Expara, the investing company helped me to answer the questions I had. Especially the workshop with founders of start-up made it possible to hear directly from the founder was so interesting.

Experience the captivating wonders of Singapore Zoo's Night Safari. As the sun begins to set, embark on a guided tour through the nocturnal realm of this renowned wildlife sanctuary via tram. The Singapore Flyer is the brainchild of world renowned architect Dr Kisho Kurokawa (Japan). The Flyer has an overall height of 165 metres (541 ft) it has 28 air conditioned capsules, each able to accommodate 28 passengers, and incorporates a three-story terminal building. Day 2: Lab Visits and City Tour

• Pay an informative  visit to a real-world enterprise  operating in Singapore,  to learn about business  &  leadership development.  Spend the morning listening to l ecture s  and  gaining  practical knowledge.  
• Enjoy a   half day  city t our   visiting Singapore’s most iconic sites including  Merlion Park, Esplanade, Chinatown, Little India, Arab Street  and  Kampong Glam.  

Day 3: Singapore’s Cutting Edge Science

• Visit  Singapore NEWater Centre  where students will learn how Singapore produces high grade reclaimed water suitable for public consumption by using advanced new technology and ultra-violet disinfection.  
• Visit the  Singapore City Gallery (formally known as the URA Gallery), which showcases the growth of Singapore as a business hub and charts Singapore’s urban transformation.
• Visit   Singapore Zoo Night Safari . E njoy  a  buf fet dinner and night safari tour to see a fascinating array of animals which come to life at night.  

Day 4: Sentosa Island

• Arrive at  Sentosa Island   and take a visit to S.E.A. Aquarium.  
• Make the short trip to   Universal Studios . Delight in a day of adventure and excitement at  the park!
• Reflection time to review the science knowledge students have learned so far in their trip.

Day 5: Singapore’s Cutting Edge Science

• Visit  Singapore Science Centre  where students will get involved in various activities, demonstrations, lectures and workshops. These hands-on experiences will help students gain a deeper knowledge of science & technology and how they improve our daily lives.
• V isit the  Singapore   Art Science Museum ,  and participate in  various workshops  to  learn about science & technology.    
• Take a c ruise to  enjoy the night view around   Clarke Quay .  
• After hopping off the boats, find a quiet spot for  students, teachers and adventure leaders to come together for a  reflection session . Through discu ssion, listening and guided thou ght, participants  can  process their experiences, digest new ideas and consider what they hav e learned about the region, business, technology  and themselves during the trip.  

Day 6: Return home

• Travel to the airport from your accommodation and board your return flight with fond memories of your Singapore school tour to take home with you!

Health & safety were well taken care of. None of the travellers got sick because of food on the trip, and an effort was always made to ensure the cleanest available restroom. We were always advised to wear seatbelts on the bus when on the highway. The food in Shanghai was a good variety of both dishes and cuisine, and I really appreciated how much effort Caroline put into making sure our 素菜宝宝 had enough to eat.

DAY 2: HANOI HALF DAY CITY TOUR – HALONG               (B/L/D)

In the morning, start your half day city. Your first stop will be the Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (close on Monday, Friday mornings and every afternoon), where the father of modern-day Vietnam declared the nation’s independence in 1945. Discover the reverence with which the Vietnamese treat their “Uncle Ho” at this pilgrimage site. Continue your tour at sites such as the Stilt House, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda. Then drive to the Temple of Literature, built in honor of Confucius by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong in 1070 - Vietnam's first university, for a touch of history. Then visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake) and Ngoc Son Temple with Sunrise Bridge. After lunch, depart to Halong Bay. Arrival Halong, check in hotel, the rest of day is at your own leisure. Dinner at local restaurant

DAY 3: HALONG – HANOI                                       (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we start enjoying 3 - 4 hour boat trip. We walk into the Thien Cung cave (Heaven Palace cave) to see thousands of stalactites and stalagmites colored by hundreds of neon lights. After 1 hour stay in the “Heaven Palace”, we are back to the boat for cruising along the World Nature Heritage part to see the Incense Bowl islet, Cock fighting islets Sail islet, Turtle island…. A delicious seafood lunch will be served when we are completely relax on boat. We are both having seafood and seeing the wonderful sightseeing outside. At 12:00 at noon, we finish our boat trip and back to our vehicle for transferring to Hanoi with stopovers at Ceramic and Hand Embroidery Workshop en route. At around 18:00PM we will be back to Hanoi. Evening highlight will be a Water Puppet Performance – the unique form of Vietnamese art derived from wet rice civilization of South East Asia. Dinner at restaurant
