Tom Cruise met his new girlfriend, Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova, in the most British fashion: over a cuppa tea. 

A source tells Page Six exclusively that the “Mission:Impossible” star met millionaire divorcee Khayrova when a friend brought her to one of his exclusive Sunday tea parties at his Hyde Park penthouse.

“Tom has been having tea parties on Sundays in London,” says the source. “He’s much more comfortable in London than in LA. He has butlers and homemade cakes and it’s all very British. Someone brought her.” 

Khayrova was formerly married to Russian oligarch Dimitry Tsvetkov, who told the Daily Mail that their divorce cost him £150 million ($188 million) and that he shelled out  £10million ($12 million) on clothes and £2million ($2.5 million) for handbags over their 11 year marriage.

Khayrova is reportedly the daughter of a Putin-allied politician.

Our source tells us Cruise’s tea parties attract the elite social.

The “Top Gun” stars so-called “top secret” soirees have made headlines in the past. 

The Daily News previously reported that there was speculation that Prince William and Kate may stop by the exclusive afternoon events, and that all attendees — including staff — must sign non-disclosure agreements.

They also reported that spies in the lobby said they saw “lots of beautiful women coming and going from the apartment on Sundays.”

“Tom loves to blast the music loudly, the beats can be heard in the building, which is why he gives a tea party in the afternoon so no one complains about the noise,” a source told the pub. “Tom is always polite and considerate of his neighbors.”

In June 2022, Page Six exclusively reported that Cruise was shopping for apartments in the UK after falling in love with London.

He was first spotted with Khayrova at a party at the beginning of December in Grosvenor Square where they “spent most [of] the night dancing” with each other on the dance floor.

A week later, he  rented out an entire floor of the swanky London restaurant Novikov so they could dine privately on over $600 of lobster, seafood and sushi, reported The Sun.

The Daily Mail reported this week that the pair are now officially an item.

“It’s well known within Elsina’s circle that she and Tom are now an item,” an insider told the outlet.

“They’ve grown very close over the past few weeks but take a lot of care not to be photographed together because they want to maintain their privacy,” the source continued.

It seems Tom Cruise is getting serious in his relationship with Elsina Khayrova . The Hollywood star and the Russian socialite continue their romance, and despite staying away from the spotlight, the pair have made headlines, including the latest update.

A close source to the couple revealed to Page Six that the actor has now met Elsina’s kids, taking their relationship to a new level. The 36-year-old socialite “has a son and a daughter from her previous marriage to Russian oligarch and diamond dealer, Dimitry Tsvetkov ,” as reported by the publication.

The former couple split in 2021 and had a controversial divorce, with details about the settlement going public and reported by international publications, as the pair had to dispute a large sum of money and multiple properties, “including a mansion in Surrey, England, five London apartments, a Bentley and a Ferrari, Cartier jewelry and artwork by Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Marc Chagall.”

The socialite and the diamond dealer were married for 11 years and according to Dimitry, the divorce cost him $188 million. Meanwhile, the ‘Mission Impossible’ actor has three children, Isabella and Connor, from his marriage with Nicole Kidman, and his daughter Suri, from his marriage with Katie Holmes.

It was previously reported that the actor met the socialite while living in London. Tom moved from Los Angeles and is known for hosting lavish tea parties at his Hyde Park penthouse in London, with a different source revealing to the publication that they met when a friend of the actor brought the socialite to one of the parties.

Who has Tom Cruise dated?

Elsina Khayrova (December 2023 – April 2024)

Since his divorce from Katie Holmes, Tom has kept his personal life more private, with no confirmed relationships being made public.

This has not stopped rumours from flying, with sources claiming that the actor was in a relationship with Russian model Elsina Khayrova in December of 2023.

According to Us Weekly sources, the 61-year-old actor and 36-year-old model’s relationship, “started as a basic friendship [and] quickly turned into something more special”.

As of April 2024, however, it’s reported that the pair has split up. The alleged reasoning? A former partner’s media confessions.

Elsina’s ex-husband, Russian oligarch Dmitry Tstetkov spoke to the Daily Mail regarding his relationship with his ex and her newfound partnership where he warned Tom to keep his “eyes and wallet wide open”.

A source told Page Six that this was the reasoning behind the rumoured couple’s split: “He’s filming and can’t be shooting and have her husband saying stuff every time he is mentioned in the press.”

Katie Holmes (2005 – 2012)

Together for nearly a decade, Tom’s relationship with Katie Holmes began in 2005, leading to a highly publicised engagement and marriage in 2006. Their daughter, Suri , was born the same year.

In spite of their PDA-packed relationship, Katie filed for divorce in 2012, which was finalised quickly and quietly, where she also received primary custody of Suri.

Penélope Cruz (2001 – 2004)

Following his split from Nicole Kidman, Tom started dating Penélope Cruz, whom he met while working on the film Vanilla Sky. After going public in 2001, the pair kept things relatively private. Tom did, however, reveal in an interview with Marie Claire US that he enjoyed cooking for Penelope

“She’ll come home, and I’ll have her favourite kind of food made, have a bath drawn. I like doing stuff like that,” he told the publication in 2003.

Their relationship lasted until 2004, with the challenges of a public relationship being cited as a reason for their breakup.

Nicole Kidman (1990 – 2001)

Tom Cruise met Nicole Kidman on the set of Days of Thunder and they quickly became a couple, marrying in December 1990.

They later went on to star in two more films together, Far and Away (1992) and Eyes Wide Shut (1999). During the same year as the release of Far and Away , the couple adopted their first child together, Isabella, followed by their son Connor in 1995.

However, in February 2001, to the shock of fans and the media alike, Cruise filed for divorce from Kidman. The announcement was unexpected and left many speculating about the reasons behind their separation.

“Citing the difficulties inherent in divergent careers which constantly keep them apart, they concluded that an amicable separation seemed best for both of them at this time,” a rep for the pair said in a public statement.

Mimi Rogers (1986-1990)

After meeting at a dinner party in 1985, Tom Cruise entered into a relationship with Mimi Rogers, where they got married in 1987.

Just before their divorce, Tom told Rolling Stone , “I wouldn’t have been able to make it through Born, I don’t think, without her being there. There were times I was so physically exhausted, and the stuff was very emotional.”

Not long after, he filed for divorce, without much public disclosure about the reasoning.

In 2001 interview with People , however, Mimi said, “You cease to be an individual,” she said. “No matter what the article is, it’s ‘Tom Cruise‘s wife’.”

Though Tom Cruise has certainly had his share of high-profile and intensely publicized romantic relationships , since his 2012 divorce from Katie Holmes , it has been over a decade since the star's love life has garnered attention in a significant way.

The Mission Impossible actor, 61, has not been publicly romantically linked to anyone – a fellow celebrity, normie, or otherwise – in a major way since his divorce 15 years ago. Though that seemed to be possibly changing after he was rumored to be dating Shakira , and, separately, his co-star Hayley Atwell last year, both rumors have since been shut down, particularly as the latter announced her engagement to music producer Ned Wolfgang Kelly in April 2023. During an interview with The Independent , Hayley maintained she sees her Mission Impossible co-star as an "uncle" figure, as she questioned: "Why are things being assumed or projected onto me about my relationship with my work colleague and boss?"

This year, reports swirled that he was in a relationship with Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova , who is based in London, however neither have publicly commented on the relationship nor have they made any major public appearances together.

Tom and Rebecca met while filming the former's now-classic breakthrough film, Risky Business . The film premiered in 1983, and the former couple were together for a little over two years before their 1985 break up.

The two tied the knot in November of the same year with a Scientologist ceremony at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, Italy. They had welcomed their first and only daughter, Suri, earlier that year, on the anniversary of their first date , April 18, 2006.

He has also had brief flings with stars such as Melissa Gilbert in 1980, who has said they only "made out," Heather Locklear, who previously shared the two went on a single date early in their careers, and he dated fellow Scientology member Nazanin Boniadi  for a few months between 2004 and 2005.

Hayley Atwell calls Tom Cruise romance rumors ‘upsetting’

Hayley Atwell is addressing the romance rumors that have surrounded her and Tom Cruise as they promote their film “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.”

The actors share the screen in the upcoming action film, out July 12, and recently there has been speculation about their relationship off camera.

Atwell responded to the gossip and opened up about her friendship with the “Top Gun: Maverick” actor in an interview with The Independent published on July 8. 

During the sit-down, she mentioned that she heard rumors about her having secret flings with Cruise and “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One” director Christopher McQuarrie, also known as McQ. 

But she says her relationships with her collaborators are strictly platonic. The 41-year-old actor told the British newspaper that she views Cruise, 61, and McQuarrie, 54, as “sort of two uncles.” 

Speaking directly about the gossip involving her co-star and director, Atwell said, “I would be like, ‘Ooh, there’s some weird rumors, and it feels base, it feels a little dirty, it feels grubby, it’s not what I’m about.’”

She continued, “Why are things being assumed or projected onto me about my relationship with my work colleague and boss?”

The “Marvel’s Agent Carter” star called the rumors “upsetting,” pointing out that comments about her love life impact her personal relationships. 

“It’s involving people in my actual life, my personal life, who have to be on the receiving end of that,” she explained. “It becomes invasive.”

Atwell has been navigating life in the public eye since her breakout role in “Captain America: The First Avenger” in 2011. She said she has learned to be “more mindful” when giving statements to avoid assumptions about her private life. 

She told The Independent that she decided to have a conversation with Cruise about the rumors swirling around their relationship, to which the “Jerry Maguire” star gave Atwell stellar advice.

She recounted that he told her, “‘You know exactly who you are. You know what you’re about. And that is the only thing that matters. It doesn’t matter what people think of you, if you are in integrity with yourself, if you know what your value system is.’” 

The Marvel star recalled watching classic movies like “Paper Moon” and “Broadcast News” with Cruise and McQuarrie after landing the role of Grace in “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.” 

Cruise and McQuarrie “love seeing women thrive and be in their own power,” she said. “So if I ever tried to play small or flirtatious, or play damsel, they would probably be like, ‘What are you doing? That’s not you!’”

The actress will appear alongside Cruise, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Cary Elwes and Simon Pegg in the franchise’s next installment. 

Atwell is already being praised for her role in the movie. In his first reaction to a screening of the seventh “Mission: Impossible,” Screen Rant’s Joe Deckelmeier tweeted that Atwell, “STEALS every scene she’s in.”

Ahead of Hollywood actor Tom Cruise's 60th birthday next month, we take a look at Tom's dating history and some of the women who managed to capture his heart

Tom Cruise is renowned as one of Hollywood's greatest actors - but while he's been successful in his career, the same can't be said for his wild love life.

Since kickstarting his acting career in the 1980's, the Top Gun actor has consistently been linked to some of the most glamorous actresses, singers, and models in the showbiz industry.

The Hollywood star, who is set to celebrate his 60th birthday next month, has enjoyed marriages with the likes of Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes - as well as a rendezvous with music icon, Cher.

Here, we take a look at Tom's dating history and the women who managed to capture his heart for a certain period of time.

Melissa Gilbert

When Tom was only 19, he was up and coming in the acting scene with his role in Endless Love.

After moving his life to LA to pursue acting full-time, Tom started dating actress Melissa Gilbert in 1982.

However, the pair only dated for a short period of time with Melissa calling the young Tom a 'good kisser'.

"Actually, when I dated him he was Tom Mapother still. It was when he first moved to Los Angeles and I think I was 16, maybe, or 17?,” Melissa said on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2017.

“I did not have sex with him,” Laura added. “We made out, but, honestly, there was no sex. He was a good kisser.

"But, you know, he was, like, a struggling, starving actor. I actually bought him his first set of dishes."

Rebecca de Mornay

The rising star then dated Rebecca De Mornay who was his then co-star on the film, Risky Business.

The pair are said to have had an 'intense' affair in 1993, but their relationship was cut short and was rumoured to only have lasted two years.

Although Rebecca joked that Tom was 'extremely annoying' at first, she admitted, “He came to grow on me because we wound up together for two and a half years after that film” in a 2018 interview with Celebrity Page.

Following his split from Rebecca, Tom then crossed paths with icon, Cher, in 1985.

Both of the stars busy lifestyles caused them to split but Cher still insists that Tom was in the 'top five lovers in her life'.

“I had just the greatest lovers ever. Not a long list. It’s just a good list,” the singer had said in a 2013 interview.

The Do You Believe In Life After Love hit-maker also detailed how she and Tom first connected over being dyslexic.

“A bunch of people who were dyslexic were invited to the White House, and Tom and I are both dyslexic. We didn’t go out till way later, but there definitely was a connection there,” Cher said in 2018.

Mimi Rogers

After his brief romance with Cher, Tom embarked on his first marriage to Affairs Of State's Mimi Rogers.

The pair met in 1986 and they tied the knot just one year later.

However, their marriage was short-lived and after just three years, the pair called it quits on their love story.

It was during Tom's relationship with Mimi that he joined the Church of Scientology - which he is still a prominent figure in to this day.

When he met actress Mimi, now 64, she was recovering from her divorce from ex-husband and Scientologist Jim Rogers.

“I met her at a dinner party about a year ago, when I was developing Top Gun. She was dating a friend, and, uh, I thought she was extremely bright,” Tom recalled in a 1986 interview with Rolling Stone.

The pair released a joint statement when announcing their divorce, which stated: "While there have been positive aspects to our marriage, there were some issues which could not be resolved even after working on them for a period of time."

Their divorce was finalised in 1990.

Nicole Kidman

The same year that his divorce was finalised, Tom met Nicole Kidman on the set of Days of Thunder.

Proving that the Australian actress had stolen his heart, Tom tied the knot with flame-haired Nicole the very same year.

The couple were married for 11 years and during their marriage, they adopted two children - Isabella and Connor.

During the marriage, Tom and Nicole also filmed another movie together, Eyes Wide Shut, in 1999.

Before the demise of their love story, Nicola looked back at their time filming the flick together together in a rare interview about her marriage with Tom to the New York Times in 2020.

“We were happily married through that. We would go go-kart racing after those scenes. We’d rent out a place and go racing at three in the morning. I don’t know what else to say. Maybe I don’t have the ability to look back and dissect it. Or I’m not willing to," she told.

While Tom’s fascination with the Church of Scientology increased throughout his marriage with Nicole, the actress refused to join.

After the pair drifted apart in their marriage, Tom and Nicole’s announced their split in February 2001, and just two days later, the Top Gun actor filed for divorce.

At the time, Tom told Vanity Fair: "Things happen in life, and you do everything you can, and in every possible way, and there’s a point at which you just sometimes have to face the brutal reality.”

A reason suspected for the split was Tom's involvement and interest in scientology, however it has never been confirmed.

Penélope Cruz

Following his split from Nicole Kidman, Tom enjoyed a three-year romance with actress Penélope Cruz.

Tom first met the brunette bombshell on the set of the movie Vanilla Sky in 2000.

And the Pirates of the Caribbean star made their relationship official after they appeared together on the red carpet at the Captain Corelli's Mandolin in 2001.

But three years later, the former couple’s reps confirmed they had ended their romance in 2004.

“They remain good friends and still talk often. There is no other person involved," they told PEOPLE at the time.

Tom's most recent marriage was to Dawson's Creek actress Katie Holmes.

Katie and Tom’s first public appearance as lovers took place in April of 2005 as the pair were pictured together Rome - where Tom was visiting to collect his David di Donatello Award for lifetime achievement.

The month after, Tom was jumping on Oprah‘s couch and proclaiming that he’s 'in love' with the stunning actress.

The pair, who were fondly known as 'TomKat', had a stunning wedding in Italy full of A-listers in 2006.

The wedding ceremony reportedly even involved some traditional Scientology wedding pledges such as the 'double ring' ceremony - after Katie converted to Tom's religion.

A few short months later, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together, and in April of 2006 they welcomed a daughter named Suri.

After six years of marriage, Katie filed for divorce in 2012.

Hayley Attwell

It's believed that Tom started a romance with Mission Impossible co-star Hayley Atwell in 2020 - although it has never been confirmed.

The pair had been filming Mission 7: Impossible together amid the pandemic.

“Tom and Hayley hit it off from day one,” a source told The Sun last year.

"Lockdown, and all the difficulties that came with it, brought them even closer and they’ve become fairly inseparable," they added.

Tom hasn’t confirmed any romances since his marriage to Katie.

Tom Cruise   has been a popular actor for decades. He’s appeared in classics like  Top Gun and  Jerry Maguire,  but he’s also been a part of the massively popular  Mission: Impossible  film franchise. While he got famous through his many movie appearances, Tom’s personal life has long been a public interest , from his relationships to his family. Mimi Rogers

Tom’s first marriage was to  Mimi Rogers  in 1987. The actor had experienced early success in his career with  Risky Business  and  Top Gun , before he married the actress. Mimi, 66, has starred in a number of beloved movies like Lost In Space  or the first  Austin Powers  film. While the marriage was short-lived, Mimi did have a major impact on Tom, being the one who introduced him to Scientology, according to the book The Passion of Tom Cruise , via  Radar .  Her dad had been an original member of the church, via  The Hollywood Reporter .

Tom had said that the pair met at a dinner party in a 1986 profile by  Rolling Stone . In another profile , he later gushed about Mimi. “I care about my wife more than anything in the world. She’s my best friend. I just really like being with her, you know? I love her,” he said.

Unfortunately, the couple later split and broke up in 1990. In the years since the divorce, Mimi has said that she regularly gets questioned about her marriage to the  Top Gun  star, but she doesn’t really comment much. ““Any time anything happens with him I get a call: ’What do you think of Katie? What do think about this?’ … ’Yeah, he’s having a kid. Of course I think it’s great. What do you want me to say?’ ’Do you think he’ll be a good father?’ ’How do I know any more than I would know what kind of parent you would be,” she explained to  Today  in 2006.

Meanwhile, Mimi keeps her fans up to date on her latest moves via Instagram . Her last post celebrated another season of working on the hit TV show Bosch Legacy.

After the split from Mimi, Tom starred alongside his future wife  Nicole Kidman in  Days of Thunder,  and the pair got married in December 1990. The couple adopted two kids: a daughter Isabella,   29, and a son Connor,  27, in the 90s. During their 11-year marriage, Tom and Nicole also starred in the 1999 film  Eyes Wide Shut  together, which Nicole, 54, looked back on fondly in a 2020 New York Times   interview. “We were happily married through that. We would go go-kart racing after those scenes. We’d rent out a place and go racing at 3 in the morning,” she said.

After 11 years together, the couple broke up, and Tom filed for divorce in February 2001. In the years after the split, Nicole said the breakup was a “major shock” in a 2006 interview with  Ladies Home Journal,  per  Today .  “I knew I was going to get hit with something. But I think a divorce, and the demise of what your family is, is a little death in itself,” she said. Shortly after the split, there had been reports that Nicole had suffered a miscarriage at the end of their relationship, but she set the record straight in a 2007 interview with  Marie Claire . She said that it was “wrongly reported,” and clarified, “I had an ectopic pregnancy at the beginning of [my marriage].”

Tom’s third and most recent marriage was to actress Katie Holmes .  The pair started dating in 2005, and they were quickly nicknamed “TomKat.” The actor famously declared his love for Katie in a viral interview with  Oprah Winfrey,  where he jumped on the couch on her talk show. A year after going public with their romance, Katie, 43, had their first daughter   Suri ,  16, together in April 2006. The couple got married that November. The wedding was an extravagant affair, with tons of high profile guests like  Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carrey,  and many more, per  USA Today.   Tom’s best man was the head of the Church of Scientology  David Miscavige,  according to the   BBC .

After six years of marriage, the couple divorced in 2012. Katie announced that she was filing for divorce, and the split was quickly resolved due to a prenup arranged by the actress’s dad, according to  Vanity Fair . After the split, Katie moved to New York with Suri. Although she doesn’t often share snaps of her mini-me daughter to her Instagram , Katie does give fans a peek at her life in the Big Apple.

She reflected on the time after the divorce in an April 2020 interview with   InStyle . “That time was intense. It was a lot of attention, and I had a little child on top of it. We had some funny moments out and about in public. So many people I didn’t know became my friends and helped us out, and that’s what I love about the city,” she said.

It’s hardly surprising for a movie star to have a multifaceted relationship history, and Tom Cruise is no exception. 

The Top Gun star has been linked to an array of Hollywood’s leading ladies , and even has three marriages to his name.

Below, we take a deep dive into everyone Tom Cruise has been linked to, from rumoured romances to long-time lovers. 

1981: Melissa Gilbert

First up in Tom Cruise’s dating history is Little House On The Prairie star, Melissa Gilbert. 

The pair reportedly dated while Tom was an aspiring actor, and still going by his birth name , Tom Cruise Mapother IV.

Years later, in an appearance on Watch What Happens Live , Melissa said, “Actually, when I dated him he was Tom Mapother still,” adding that she was “16 maybe or 17” when they met.

Melissa also got into the nitty gritty of their relationship, revealing to host Andy Cohen that their pair never slept together.

“We made out, but honestly, there was no sex,” she said.

1983: Rebecca De Mornay

Tom next dated his Risky Business co-star, Rebecca De Mornay, although their romance reportedly didn’t start until after filming wrapped.

In a 1986 Rolling Stone profile, Sean Penn recalled a night out with Tom in New York shortly after the hit film was released.

“All these girls were coming over. And this really pretty girl came up to Tommy and started talking to him. And he realised that she wanted him for his body . And he screamed at her, ‘I have a girlfriend that I’m in love with!’ And the girl said, ‘You should have told me that five minutes ago!’”

The pair were both 21 when they dated, with Rebecca saying at the time:

“He really is a pure person. There’s something earnest and virtuous about him that’s quite rare. There’s definitely something different about kids who come from broken homes. They have this sort of searching quality, because you’re searching for love and affection, if you’ve been robbed of a substantial amount of time with your parents. I think that’s true of Tom.”

The pair separated when Tom began working on Top Gun . In the same interview, he said:

“Relationships are hard. You have to know when you’re going to be in a different place from someone else, you have to have the strength to separate. People are more prone to stay together for the security, which is something in my life that I have really not done, in relationships or even in business. If something’s not working, you’ve got to face it and move on.”

1985: Patti Scialfa

According to a profile published by People , Tom briefly dated singer-songwriter Patti Scialfa in 1985. Not much else is known about their romance, other than it was short-lived.

Perhaps the most surprising union of all, Tom was also linked to popstar Cher in 1985. The pair reportedly met at Madonna’s wedding to Sean Penn, and then found themselves together again at a dinner held at the White House.

Years later, in an appearance on Watch What Happens Live , Cher shared that Tom “wasn’t a Scientologist” when they dated, adding, “It was pretty hot and heavy for a little minute.”

“I’ve had just the greatest lovers ever!… [Tom] was in the top five,” she revealed. 

1986 – 1990: Mimi Rogers

In a 1986 Rolling Stone interview, Tom said he met his first wife, Mimi Rogers, “at a dinner party […] when I was developing Top Gun . “

“She was dating a friend, and, uh, I thought she was extremely bright.”

The pair were married in 1987. In another Rolling Stone interview, Tom said of his then-wife,   “I wouldn’t have been able to make it through Born , I don’t think, without her being there. There were times I was so physically exhausted, and the stuff was very emotional.”

“I couldn’t imagine being without her or being alone,” he added.

In the same interview, he revealed that Mimi was the first person he had ever been in love with.

“There were girls you like a lot. But I’d never been in love before. Since I’ve been with her, it’s opened me up a lot. I think it’s helped me be a better actor. We live a lot of life together. We share everything. That’s the best thing about life. Otherwise you go through it pretty sad and lonely and angry.”

It’s not clear exactly why the pair split, but Mimi later told People she found Tom’s fame hard to handle. 

“You cease to be an individual,” she said. “No matter what the article is, it’s ‘ Tom Cruise ‘s wife….’ ”

1990 – 2001: Nicole Kidman

One of his most high-profile relationships, Tom was with Australian actress Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001, who he met on the set of Days Of Thunder .

According to Us Weekly , the pair were married less than one year after his divorce to Mimi Rogers was finalised, in a private ceremony held on Christmas Eve. 

After they were married, the couple worked together again, this time on Far And Away . In 1992, the same year the film was released, they adopted their first child, Isabella. Then, in 1995, they adopted a son, Connor.

In 1999, Tom and Nicole appeared in a third and final film together, Eyes Wide Shut . 

“We were happily married through that,” Nicole told The New York Times in 2020.

“We would go go-kart racing after [intense] scenes. We’d rent out a place and go racing at three in the morning.”

In February 2001, the pair announced their separation, via a statement that read:

“Citing the difficulties inherent in divergent careers which constantly keep them apart, they concluded that an amicable separation seemed best for both of them at this time.”

2001 – 2004: Penelope Cruz

From 2001 to 2004, Tom was linked to actress Penelope Cruz, after the pair met on the set of Vanilla Sky . 

The pair kept their relationship relatively low key, with Tom telling marie claire US in 2003 that he liked to surprise his partner often.

“She’ll come home, and I’ll have her favourite kind of food made, have a bath drawn. I like doing stuff like that. She likes my food, so I cook for her. It’s always the little things I like in a relationship.”

After three years together, the couple called it quits, with a source telling People :

“They remain good friends and still talk often… There is no other person involved. The relationship just ran its course and they decided not to be girlfriend and boyfriend anymore. Through most of the relationship they were both shooting movies in separate parts of the world.”

2005 – 2012: Katie Holmes

Tom’s third marriage was to actress Katie Holmes .

The pair first sparked rumours of a romance after they were spotted holidaying together in 2005. The following year, their relationship accelerated, with the couple announcing their engagement and welcoming their daughter, Suri , shortly after.

In the early stages of their relationship, Tom gushed about their newfound love. In 2005, he gave the infamous couch-jumping interview, where he told Oprah, “I’m in love. I’m in love and it’s one of those things where you want to be cool, like, ‘Yeah I like her.’”

“That’s not how I feel. I wanted to meet this person and I met her and she’s extraordinary.”

After five years of marriage, Tom and Katie announced their separation via separate statements.

“This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest,” her attorney said.

Tom’s statement, on the other hand, read: “Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children. Please allow them their privacy.”

Who Is Tom Cruise Dating Now?

Tom Cruise, 61, is reportedly dating Russian socialite and former model Elsina Khayrova , 36. The pair attended a party in London’s Mayfair in late 2023, with one guest describing the pair as ‘besotted’, according to The Daily Mail .

Khayrova is the daughter of a Russian MP, Rinat Khayrov, and the ex-wife of a Russian oligarch, Dmitry Tsetkov. Cruise’s reported romance comes 11 years after his split from third wife Katie Holmes.

After dating rumours hit front pages, Khayrova’s ex-husband has spoken out.

“Irrespective of whoever she’s with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious tastes,” he told the Mail . “Tom should keep his eyes and wallet wide open.”

He added that his three-year divorce cost him nearly $200 million, given that he is a tycoon whose business is in diamonds and mining.

Inside Tom Cruise’s Love Life Amid Shakira Dating Rumors: ‘He’s Never Given Up’

Tom Cruise  is still looking for romance after fans began shipping him and  Shakira following their meetup at the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix on May 7. "He’s never given up on love, but being who he is, it’s hard to find someone who is genuinely interested in him as a person, not as a movie star," a source tells In Touch  exclusively.

The Top Gun: Maverick star, 60, and the "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker, 44, were photographed chatting together at the race. Shakira, however, is coming off a heartbreaking June 2022 split from retired Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué  and is rebuilding her life as a single mom with the former couple's two sons in Miami.

“Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him,” a source told Us Weekly of the dating rumors swirling around them. "He was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn’t focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.”

Tom has been so busy with his blockbuster movie career over the past few years that he hasn't had much time for romance, either. There were rumors that he and his Mission: Impossible 7 costar  Hayley Atwell  were involved in 2020 while making the movie, but no relationship was ever confirmed by either party.

The actor was previously married to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, to Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001 and he tied the knot once more in 2006. He has remained relatively quiet about his relationships over the years, instead focusing on his blockbuster films.

Jennifer Connelly is sending birthday wishes to a very special costar. 

Tom Cruise , turning 62 on Wednesday June 3, received a tribute from his Top Gun: Maverick costar via Instagram marking the big day. 

“Here’s to another trip around the sun,” wrote Connelly, 53, in a post on her Instagram. Its photo, clearly taken from the set of their 2022 hit movie, shows Cruise in aviator sunglasses riding a sleek motorcycle with Connelly seated behind him. Both stars are grinning from ear to ear, the wind in their hair. 

The Beautiful Mind Oscar winner concluded her caption, “Happy birthday @tomcruise!”

Among the post's comments was the account for movie distributor Paramount Pictures: "Happy birthday, Maverick 🫡"

Connelly played Penelope "Penny" Benjamin in the Joseph Kosinski-directed follow-up to 1968's Top Gun . A former flame of Cruise's character, Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, she embarks on another romance with the Navy pilot as he is recruited to train a class of Top Gun graduates for a dangerous mission.

“He's extraordinary as a person and fantastic as an actor, and I think that he is just perfect," Connelly said of her costar in a 2023 interview with Variety .

In an April interview with Entertainment Tonight , Connelly said that if she got the call to do another sequel, she’d “be there” and “ready.” She and Cruise "had such a great time shooting [ Maverick ]. It was fun."

Jerry Bruckheimer , the producer behind both Top Gun movies, confirmed to PEOPLE the franchise’s filmmaking team is "working on" Top Gun 3 .

Connelly wasn’t the only well wisher on Cruise’s 62nd spin around the sun. Salma Hayek , a star of the Cruise-produced 2006 movie Ask the Dust , captioned a cute photo of the pair, "Feliz cumpleańos querido,” on her Instagram Stories . 

Cruise was most recently spotted hanging out with Gillian Anderson and Simon Pegg during Coldplay ’s performance at the 2024 Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. on June 30. On screen, he last appeared on the big screen in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning and continues to work on the eighth movie in that action franchise , scheduled for a May 2025 release.
