As soon as you arrive at Jammu railway station or airport, your sojourn to Vaishno Devi Temple will commence. Our tour representative will guide you for the road trip to Katra which is located 50 km away from Jammu. As soon as you reach Katra, you will be escorted to the hotel, where you can relax for the night.

Today you will finally embark on the holy Vaishno Devi tour. The shrine sits at an elevation of 5300 ft. and is counted among one of the Shakti Peethas. Maa Durga is worshipped here as Vaishno Devi, a central deity in the Shaktism tradition of Hinduism. The distance between Katra and Bhawan is 13 km which can be covered by helicopter, ponies or palanquins.

As you step into the Vaishno Devi Bhawan, chants and clashing cymbals will soothe your senses. Spend some time at the shrine and seek blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi who is worshipped in the form of three natural rock formations, known as pindies. The pindies belong to Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi, and Maha Saraswati.

Later, head back to your hotel in Katra for night stay.

On day 3 you will be visiting Patnitop from Katra via road. It will take around 3 hours to reach the destination snuggled in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. As the name suggests, Patnitop is a hill top tourist location seated at an elevation of 2,024 m (6,640 ft.) and is adorned with lush greenery. The Chenab River flows near Patnitop, which adds more charm to the destination.

Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Guests can explore the panoramic and tranquil surroundings. Finish the day with a delectable dinner and relax for the night.

Katra to Pahalgam

The distance between Katra to Pahalgam is 228 km, we would reach Pahalgam from Katra in approx 7 hours. One day is not enough for travel in Palagam, we will continue trip in Pahalgam next day.

Chandanwari: We will start our journey to Chandanwari.Lots of movies were shot here, this place is famous as the name of Betaab. The starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, the valley also has an ancient temple nearby which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and provides a beautiful picnic spot for tourists. The local market here provides Kashmiri handicrafts and other essentials like medicines. Besides an ideal picnic spot, Chandanwari is an excellent relaxation spot to unwind in the lap of nature. It also offers a variety of activities such as sledding, pony rides, trekking etc.

Betab Valley: Situated at a distance of 15km from Pahalgam. It is one of the most famous places to visit around Pahalgam. Surrounded by mountains and pine forests, the valley falls on the way to Amarnath and presents a combination of picturesque surroundings and peaceful relaxation. Snow-capped mountains and lush greenery gives an aesthetic appeal to the place. Apart from the impressive landscape, it is also famous for trekking.

Aru Valley: Located 12 km away from Pahalgam, Aru Valley is a hidden gem in Kashmir. The scenic rural settlement here is the starting point of trekking safaris to Kolahoi Glacier and Sonmarg. The valley provides misty surroundings, whispers of the native pines, breathtaking beauty and activities like trekking and horse riding. It becomes a winter wonderland during the winters.

Pahalgam: Once this place was a shepherds’ village but now, one of the most beautiful spots in Kashmir. Situated about 95 km away from Srinagar, it is located 8200 feet above sea level at the confluence of Sheshnag Lake and Lidder River. As the valley is covered by snow mountains, the maximum temperature never exceed 25 degrees celsius even in summer. This is an actual slice of paradise for the nature lover. Within a small radius of 15- 20 km there are various other tourist spots like the Betaab Valley, Baisaran and many more.

Gulmarg: Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers, is about 2 hours away from Srinagar (about 57 km) and one of the most visited tourist spots in Kashmir. It is covered with snow in winters and a lush green carpet in summer. The slopes of Gulmarg vary in elevation from 8,700- 10,500 feet, making it an excellent site for skiing. Gulmarg also offers visitors, the world's highest 18-hole golf course. The Gulmarg Gondola lift is a splendid attraction. It is one of the highest gondola lifts in the world. Gulmarg offers the visitor a range of activities like walking, skiing, golfing, ATV rides and much more.

Golf Course: Set amidst the snow-capped peaks and lush pine forests, the Pahalgam Golf Course is a popular attraction for both, golf-enthusiasts and nature lovers. It is an 18-hole golf course with a wide expanse of a plateau that rises at the spot where the Sheshnag and Aru Rivers meet. The serene and beautiful surroundings of this golf course offer a great opportunity to play golf. Visitors can rent golf equipment for which they will be charged hourly. There is also a deer park which is located on one end of this golf course where visitors can enjoy the captivating beauty of nature. Car itineraries usually do not include an extended stop here, therefore keep a lookout while you pass by this attraction.

Khilanmarg Snow Point: Khilanmarg valley is situated about 4 km away from the Gulmarg bus stop. It offers views of beautiful snow-capped mountains, out of which some of the prominent peaks are- Nanga Parbat and the twin peaks of Nun and Kun. The best time to visit the valley is between May to September as the place is packed with wild varieties of flowers. To enjoy skiing and other winter sports activities or snowfall, November to February are the correct months. The temperature is fairly pleasant during the summer. You can reach Khilanmarg by taking a pony from the Gondola, or by hiking.

Gulmarg to Srinagar

The distance between Gulmarg to Srinagar is 48.5 km. We would reach in Srinagar in about 1-2 hours.

Shankaracharya Temple: The ancient Shankaracharya temple is located in Srinagar atop Shankaracharya Hill, at a height of 1100 feet. It is dedicated to the Lord Shiva, the Hindu God of Destruction. The temple has withstood various natural disasters. This is a sightseeing place where travelers can see lots of adventuring places nearby this location. It is belived that ,this temple is visited by Adi Shankaracharya that's how this temple got this name. The main shrine, situated above a flight of stairs in a circular complex, dates back to the 11th century and provides a breathtaking 360-degree view of Srinagar and the Dal lake. Please note, no cameras or mobile phones are allowed inside the temple complex.

Dal Lake: Dal Lake is the most beautiful and frequently visited spot in Srinagar. It is the second largest lake in Kashmir. Surrounded by lofty mountains and the Mughal Gardens, the lake is everyone’s delight. Its floating garden is the highest attractive place for visitors which is nearby Shalimar & Nishat Garden. This lake is additionally a crucial source for commercial operations in fishing and aquatic plant harvesting. One of the most popular features of the lake in sight of the houseboats and Shikaras. A Shikara ride is a perfect way to take a tour of the lake, you can lounge back in your cushioned seat as the boatman guides the narrowboat through various sections and channels within the lake. Tourists can also opt to spend a night at one of the houseboats stationed on the lake, for a unique stay experience.

Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
A maximum of 3 adults are allowed in one room. The third occupant shall be provided a mattress/rollaway bed.
The itinerary is fixed and cannot be modified. Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal. For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process refund & same should reach the guest within 30 days of processing the refund.
Also, for any activity which is complimentary and not charged to GBO & guest, no refund will be processed.
AC will not be functional anywhere in cool or hilly areas.
Entrance fee, parking and guide charges are not included in the packages.
If your flights involve a combination of different airlines, you may have to collect your luggage on arrival at the connecting hub and register it again while checking in for the onward journey to your destination.

GBO reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

Day 01: ARRIVAL AT JAMMU RAILWAY STATION & TRANSFER TO KATRA Day Schedule: Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station and it is also the Winter capital of state Jammu & Kashmir. You will be met by our representative and transfer to Katra . On arrival at Katra we check in to the pre-arranged Hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at Katra Hotel.

Day 02: KATRA-VAISHNO DEVI DARSHAN Day Schedule: After a leisurely breakfast, Early morning, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan- one of the most popular pilgrimages of India situated in the lap of Trikuta mountains across Katra town at an altitude of around 5200 feet. Yatra upto Bhawan involves a trek of nearly 12 Kms from Katra base camp known as Ban Ganga & 2.5 Kms from Sanji Chhat which is dropping point for pilgrims boarding through Helicopter. You have to hire a local auto rikshaw for reaching Ban Ganga or Helipad available round the clock at very nominal charges. Battery cars, Cable cars, Ponies, Palkis, Pithoos, Porters etc. are other means of transport during yatra for assisting senior citizens, children and physically challenged persons. After performing darshans, if time permits, visit Bhairo Temple & return back to Katra in the evening.Dinner& Overnight stay at Katra Hotel.

Day 03: KATRA TO PAHALGAM 220 Kms (07-08 Hrs One Way) Day Schedule: After breakfast check-out from hote landdrive to Pahalgam,Soon after having breakfast, start with your tour to Pahalgam from Katra, Pahalgam is popularly known as the “Valley Of Shepherd’s”. Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd’s village with breathtaking views.. You will be met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Day 05: Pahalgam to Srinagar Day Schedule: Today; after having breakfast in the hotel, visit the scenic and rocky valleys of Chandanwadi, the astounding Snow Point which is located around 14km from Pahalgam and also enjoy a pony ride. Though all these activities can only be arranged at an additional cost, you are sure to enjoy these amazing experiences. In the evening you will be driven back to Srinagar.. Day 06 : SRINAGAR TO GULMARG (DAY EXCURSION TO GULMARG) 60 Kms –02 Hrs One Way Day Schedule: Early morning after leisure breakfast proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg – the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. These pindies represent the three forms of the goddess: Maha Kali, Maha Saraswati, and Maha Lakshmi 1 .

Welcome to Jammu, the winter capital of Indian State Jammu and Kashmir. On Arrival, you will be greeted by Tour My India representative/Driver and transferred to Katra, the base point of Vaishno Devi. Arrive at Katra and check into your hotel. After fresh-n-up and rest, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan - one of the most popular pilgrimage of India situated in the lap of Trikuta mountains across Katra town, at an altitude of around 5200 feet.

Yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 Kms from base camp at Katra known as Ban Ganga. Alternate way to perform darshans is by battery operated cars, Ponies/Palkis/ Helicopter. If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairo Temple, now you can go by ropeway from Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairon temple.

After visiting the temples, return back to the hotel in Katra and relax for an overnight stay.

Katra to Pahalgam (270 km / Approx 07 Hours Drive)

After Breakfast, drive to Pahalgam. Located at 2133 mts, it is also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds’ or ‘Trekker's Paradise’. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Arrive Pahalgam and transfer to the hotel.

Evening free for leisure. Dinner and Overnight stay in Pahalgam Hotel.

After breakfast, start the trip to Chandanwadi. Located on the way to Chandanwari, the valley was named Betaab after the Bollywood movie by the same name! Earlier known as Hajan Valley, after the release of the movie, it was renamed as a major part of the movie was shot here.

Post lunch (on your own) or as time permits, proceed for a trip to Aru Valley (on your own). Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km from Pahalgam noted for its scenic meadows and mountains. It is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake . The village lies on the left bank of the Aru river, which is a tributary of the Lidder river.

After buffet breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar. Enroute visit Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lots of rice fields. On arrival at Srinagar, transfer to the Houseboat. After check-in at the houseboat, you can relax for a while. Later in the evening, proceed for a shikara ride in Dal lake .

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and get transferred to the hotel. After check in, proceed to sightseeing tour of Srinagar . Visit Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), The Chasme Shahi Garden & Shankaracharya Temple. Evening is free for shopping.

Srinagar – Excursion to Sonmarg (90 Kms / Approx 03 Hours Drive- One Way)

Thajiwas Glacier

After breakfast at the houseboat/hotel, leave for a day excursion to Sonmarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, you can stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg, located at 2,690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on a horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier (on Pony) where snow remains round the year.

In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Srinagar to Gulmarg (60 km / Approx 2-3 Hours Drive)

After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country tour towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in this world and also called Meadow of Flowers. It has the world’s highest golf course (World’s Highest) and is also famous for winter sports like skiing etc. You can enjoy a Gondola ride (Cable car, own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg.

The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak. From here, you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour.

Gulmarg to Srinagar Airport Drop (60 km / Approx 2-3 Hours Drive)

Departure Transfer

After buffet breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar Airport to board your flight for the respective hub with memorable experiences of Tour My India.

Important Information : Due to strict security, you are requested to leave from the hotel at least 4 hours before the departure time. You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.

Ticket Booking For Vaishno Devi Helicopter Service

The offline booking process starts at 08:00 AM in the morning at the Current Heli-Ticket Counter, but the queue starts lining up at 05:00 AM in the morning, so you need to reach there very early.
It is advisable to book helicopter tickets online in advance to avoid last-minute disappointment and hassles if the tickets are sold out.

Cancellation Policy of Vaishno Devi Helicopter Tickets

If circumstances compel you to cancel your trip after tickets are already booked, you can cancel your Vaishno Devi helicopter tickets between 4-7 days in advance.
50% of the paid amount is refunded for each ticket after deducting processing and cancellation charges.
If your helicopter, unfortunately, encounters bad weather and delays, tickets are subject to cancellation. However, you will be refunded the full amount.

Rules and Regulations (For Official Bookings)

1. An ERS (Electronic Reservation Slip) is mandatory for availing facilities booked online. Make sure to fill the slip in the prescribed format, take a print out and carry it with you at all times during your visit to the shrine. 2. The pilgrims mandatorily have to have the ' Aarogya Setu' app on their mobile phones.

3. After the pandemic, only asymptomatic passengers will be allowed to take a yatra. 4. Use of 'Face Mask/ Face Shield' is mandatory.

5. Pilgrims from outside Jammu & Kashmir are to necessarily take a COVID Antigen test.

6. Pilgrims are to wash their hands and feet repeatedly before entering the sanctum sanctorum.

7. Touching of idols is not permitted.

8. No blanket or linen will be provided.

9. A maximum of 05 helicopter seats can be booked per user per Debit/Credit card in a calendar month . So, schedule accordingly. 10. Make sure to carry a photo ID card , address proof and the Debit/Credit card used to make the booking (in original) . Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voters ID/ PAN card or Credit Card with Photo are acceptable as ID/address proof. Also note that for offline bookings, ID proof is required for all travellers and not just for the person purchasing the tickets. 11. You also need to carry proof of travel document such as bus/train/air ticket. 12. After online booking, make sure to check the status of your transaction in the Devotee Zone. It is only valid when the transaction status is shown as Successful. If money is debited from your bank account, but the transaction status is Failed, the booking is not valid, and no helicopter seats will be allotted in this case. You need to make a fresh booking in this case. Any amount deducted in case of a failed booking will be refunded. 13. Make sure to report to the helipad at least one hour before the scheduled departure. Otherwise, your ticket may be treated as No-Show, and no refund will be provided.
