Changi Experience Studio's Learning Journey Programmes are tailored for different learner profiles ranging from students across all levels to adult learners. For instance, for upper primary and secondary students, there are modules designed to fit National Education learning objectives, while corporate learners can benefit from sharing of real-world industry insights and applications.

Content and activities are tailored for different levels of learner profiles, to suit both adult learners and students as relevant.

The prices differ for the various modules and group size. For corporates or schools who would like to add on tours, team bonding activities, attraction or camp experiences, the team is able to customise a programme for you. Do write in to [email protected] to enquire. 

The learning journey programme is a sit-down sharing session and includes a FAQ section. A tour is considered an add-on for the programme. If you would like to add on a tour,  do write in to [email protected] to enquire.

Minimum group size is 30 pax per booking. Maximum group size applies to the various venues. Do write in to us at [email protected] to discuss how we can meet your needs.

Virtual learning journeys in Singapore schools. How we do it.

Virtual learning journeys in Singapore are something that we have embraced in 2020. Unfortunately due to the covid situation we do not currently run our popular learning journeys around Singapore. Instead we offer schools an interactive and memorable learning journey in the classroom. So how do we bring the cultures of Singapore to life in the classroom?

Facilitators and Guides

Our team of STB registered tour guides and facilitators come from a range of backgrounds in Singapore. All of our guides and facilitators have worked on school projects with us in the past. This is important as it guarantees that the lessons will be led by enthusiastic, knowledgeable and professional experts. A good guide makes the experience, we know that. All of our team will arrive at the school dressed in the cultural dress that they will be representing. Whilst we follow a lesson plan we also encourage our guides to share their own unique stories. This gives our students an opportunity to hear first hand about life in Singapore before their time. Questions and class interaction is always encouraged.

Videos and power point presentation

The lesson will revolve around our specially created power point presentation. This is interspersed with videos from some of Singapore’s many cultural ambassadors. We speak to Indian dance teachers, Malay hawkers and Peranakan community leaders to name a few. Each video and slide goes deeper into a certain part of the culture we are exploring. By using various types of media we ensure that the lesson flows in an interesting format. Keeping the students focused and interested.

Singabites provides each class with interactive worksheets that they can fill in during the lesson. We are always encouraging class participation through questions and answer sessions, interactive joining in and even a culturally relevant tasting session.

Tasting session

Food plays an integral part in the cultures of Singapore. By providing the opportunity for the students to taste a cultural bite we bring the learning journey to life. Did you know that the Peranakan’s believe in a certain way to eat some foods? We’ll show the students how to eat a Peranakan kueh and what the dish actually means. For the Malay classes we have a special interview with the hawker chef who is keeping his heritage food alive in Singapore. We have interesting bites from our Indian, Chinese and Eurasian communities also.

When we combine all of the above (with a few more surprise elements) we create unique learning journeys that the students will enjoy and most of all remember. Singapore learning journeys are about celebrating and learning more about each of our home cultures. Giving our students the best tools to thrive in multicultural Singapore.

The video was very engaging and the students enjoyed learning more about local marine life and conservation. Even though due to the Covid situation, we were not able to bring our students out for learning journeys or have mass assemblies, this programme was a good alternative as students were able to still see the marine life and learn about them.

How to Book a Guided Tour:

1) Check out our tour titles in the programme booklet. All guided tours are 1.5hrs, at a flat rate of $183.36 per group (Inclusive of GST) subject to a maximum of 20 students.

2) Register your interest via our online enquiry form during the respective window periods listed below, and at least 8 weeks before your intended tour dates. 

*Note: Our guided tours are fully booked until April, with limited availability in May. We recommend booking for tour dates in June 2024.

3) We will reach out to you upon receipt of your request. Please email us if you do not hear from us 4 weeks before your requested date. 

4)  Once we have agreed to the booking arrangement, we will send you a Booking Form along with our booking terms for your verification. Your booking is confirmed after we receive the signed Booking Form from you. 

For schools and organisations registered locally, an invoice will be issued to you after completion of the  programme . Payment should be made only after you have received the invoice. An e-invoice can be issued to government agencies.

Please note that our credit term is 30 days from the date of the invoice. 

Alternatively, payment can be made by NETS or Credit Card (VISA or Mastercard only), on the actual day of the programme .
