Adidas Tour 360 XT SL 2.0 Golf Shoes

The Tour 360 golf shoe from adidas is one of the brand's most iconic silhouettes. The XT SL 2.0 is the fully waterproof, spikeless variant of the Tour 360 brand, offering golfers spikeless comfort and full protection from the elements out on course. 

The chassis of the shoe is a shape and style we think most people will be familiar with, with its profile on the feet of Tour players like Dustin Johnson making this a very desirable looking shoe. You can immediately feel how well made this shoe is out of the box too. The premium full-grain leather upper is incredibly soft and fully waterproof, making for a comfortable fit on your feet with the peace of mind that they'll stay dry no matter the conditions.

Of course, one of the best spiked golf shoes will give you the best grip in wet conditions, but the Tour 360 XT SL 2.0 did a great job in a variety of conditions. We were sure to try it out in dry, damp and wet conditions and are pleased to report a comfortable amount of grip in all conditions. The outsole is made from TPU and the X shapes throughout are designed to give solid grip with the low-profile feel of a spikeless shoe. For our money, only the FootJoy Pro SL has a better spikeless outsole. 

The standout feature of this shoe however is its cushioning and comfort when out walking the course. The full length Boost midsole is one of the best midsoles in any golf shoe we've tested this year and the Torsion bar means this shoe is solid throughout the swing too. 

The Tour 360 XT SL 2.0 Golf Shoes is without a doubt one of the best adidas golf shoes out there right now. While the overall profile of the shoe might be a bit clumpier than some other spikeless options, the grip and comfort make it one of the best spikeless shoes out there right now.

The Adidas Tour360 XT Primeknit golf shoes bridge the gap between traditional leather shoes and lightweight, contemporary knit shoes.  Great traction, waterproof, and very comfortable.

Introduction

Knit shoes have been a major trend in the last couple years, not only in golf but across sports.  However, on the course, the comfort and light weight of a knit upper can be offset by a lack of waterproofing and traction.

Enter the new Adidas Tour360 XT Primeknit golf shoes.  With a fully waterproof upper and a sole built for extreme traction, it seeks to be a golf shoe free of compromises.

A lot of golf shoes go for a traditional or minimalist look.  The Adidas Tour360 XT PK is not one of those shoes.  This shoe has a bold, modern look that demands attention on the course.

Aesthetically, this shoe centers on the knit upper.  In the teal, shown here, it really pops with flecks of black and green.  If teal isn’t in your wheelhouse, there are two other colorways: light grey/white and dark grey/black.

When you get past the texture and color of the knit upper, your eye takes in a wealth of interesting details .  The Tour360 Wrap around the midfoot creates an unusual gap between the sole of the shoe and the sole of your foot.  The white Boost cushioning contrasts with the molded black plastic of the sole.  Finally, there’s the sock-like elastic around the ankle which gives a visual hint to how this shoe will feel on your foot.

Like most high quality knit shoes, the Adidas Tour 360 XT Primeknit feels great from the first time you slip it on .  It has a sock-like fit and feel that’s secure on your foot without creating any uncomfortable pressure points.

The fit of this shoe is standard – neither wide nor slim.  Because the upper is so soft, a slightly wider foot will be more comfortable in this shoe than a traditional leather shoe.

Adidas pairs the comfortable knit upper with their hugely popular Boost cushioning .  This was my first experience with Boost, and it did not disappoint.  When you step down, your foot feels cushioned from the impact, and there’s a bouncy feeling when you step up again.

Finally, I’ll note that the Tour360 XT PK has a medium heel height .  It’s neither a zero drop heel like a TRUE Linkswear shoe, nor a very tall, traditional heel like a FootJoy.

Performance

This shoe’s primary performance feature is right in the name: the XT stands for the X-Traxion lugs that give this shoe unbelievable grip.  The combination of replaceable cleats with the X-Traxion lugs puts the Adidas Tour360 XT PK at the top of the class when it comes to traction .  Even in soupy conditions, I could swing recklessly and not slip.

Speaking of wet conditions, the Tour360 XT PK is waterproof .  That seems impossible for a knit shoe, but it’s true.  I went so far as to dump a cup of water right onto the shoe, and my foot stayed dry.  I don’t know how this is possible, but I don’t need to understand it to enjoy the benefits.

When swinging, the combination of Primeknit upper and 360WRAP creates a feeling that is secure but unrestricted .  There’s enough structure in this shoe that it never felt sloppy, but my foot didn’t feel constricted either.  If you’ve shied away from knit shoes before because of concerns about lateral stability, the Adidas Tour360 XT PK is worth a look.

The Adidias Tour360 XT PK is one of the best golf shoes I’ve tested.  By pairing a knit upper with a sole built for extreme traction, Adidas has created a shoe free of compromises.  Add in the waterproofing and Boost cushioning and many will find this to be the perfect golf shoe.

How well did the shoes breathe?

Relative to average golf shoes, very well. Because it’s a thicker knit, they breathe a bit less well than other knits.

How do these compare to the Tour360 XT shoes?

I haven’t worn the Tour360 XT, so I can’t compare the two.

Opened in 1935, Moscow’s underground system, now 190 miles (305 km) long with 185 stations, is today one the largest and most heavily used rapid transit systems in the world. On this Moscow metro tour, discover the impressive architecture of Moscow’s underground stations and learn how they reflect the Soviet era.

Getting around by metro, your local guide will take you through parts of Moscow’s infamous history. Stop at stations built during the time of the USSR (Soviet Union) that are praised as one of the most extravagant architectural projects from Stalin’s time. After World War 2, he was keen on establishing Stalinist architecture to represent his rising regime and a recognized empire. Learn how when his successor started the de-Stalinization of the former Soviet Union in 1953, the extravagancy of the architecture was toned down.

Sites visited are usually iconic sites, tours can also include market visits, visits to communities etc that provide the traveller with a fantastic insight into destination.

Expect to rough it for parts of this tour, whether it's a packed public bus where you are forced to stand, a visit to a local market, a local community, you are sure to have an experience that is very different from what you're used to at home.

The comforts of your home town and the environment you are used to are more of a rarity. Expect some challenging transport options, visits to local sites and areas that don't resemble anything at home.

You're out there in the global community! You are likely to be exposed to the elements, travel in whatever means of transport is available and basically take it as it comes, whatever comes! It can be tough.

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.
