Best Dolphin Watch Tour Ever!!!!!!
On November 30, 2015, my husband and I got off of a cruise ship and met our dear friends from Florida and went on this Dolphin Watch Tour. The four of us had a wonderful time with Captain Adam. Prior to even reaching the dock for the tour to begin, we needed last minute directions to get to the dock. He answered is phone when we called and gave us great directions. He even called us when he was approaching the dock to say he was ready for us. He was prompt, professional and he immediately made us feel comfortable on his very nice pontoon boat. The boat was comfortable and clean. He offered us bottle water from his stocked cooler and told us we could put the soda we brought in his cooler as well. We saw so many dolphins that it was hard to keep track of all of them. He was so informative about the entire area and really spent time maneuvering the boat for the best dolphin viewing. We also rode through mangroves and he spotted several types of birds for us. All in all, I totally recommend this tour. The four of us had a wonderful time with Captain Adam. The Dolphins were adorable and so were all the other wildlife we saw on the tour. THANK YOU TO CAPTAIN ADAM AND TO OUR FRIENDS WHO ORGANIZED THIS TOUR FOR US! It was a fabulous experience! Can't wait to do it again!
We loved our scenic trip through the Indian River Lagoon area. We went through a number of waterways between lush green islands and saw lots of birds - osprey, blue heron, ibis, cormorant, etc. We also saw a very quick view of a surfacing manatee but the real fun began when we saw the dolphins. They swam along with us for quite a while, surfacing often and sometimes very close to our boat. We're looking forward to doing this again because even if we hadn't seen the manatee and the dolphins, the boat ride itself was very enjoyable.
We had a wonderful time with Captain Adam on his boat on Labor Day. The boat was very clean and comfortable. He is very knowledgeable about Fort Pierce, the Indian River Lagoon, and the whole area in general. He spotted the swirl of a manatee and made sue thar we could get glimpses of it when it surfaced. Unfortunately, very bad storms with lightning started to move in which cut our tour short. Our safety was his first concern, so he got us back before the storm hit. We hadn't had a chance to even pay him yet, but he trusted us to call him to pay. We have lots of out-of-town visitors, so we will definitely include this as a future activity for our guests!
At first we were hesitant because of the cost but the captain was extremely informative, the ride was 2 hours and worth every penny. Its like they say.....you get what you pay for. I cant wait for family to visit so I can show them how terrific it was.
Capt. Adam ROCKS! We had the most amazing time today! Capt. Adam knows his stuff! We had a very informative tour of Fort Pierce and we saw 5 DOLPHINS! 3 of the dolphins followed our boat! We also saw several very friendly MANATEES! We highly recommend this tour!
Had a wonderful experience today out on the boat. We got to see a large group of dolphins just following along side our boat. What an amazing experience to see all the nature in an up close and personal way. Would highly advise everyone to go on this tour. Also the captain was so friendly and personable with so much knowledge about the history and nature all around the area!!!
