We provide quality Queenstown backpacker accommodation that focuses on putting you, our customer, first. We feature equipped kitchens, numerous bathrooms, cosy lounges, outdoor chill-out areas, and more.

CENTRAL QUEENSTOWN LOCATION

We are just a street away from the main intersection in Queenstown (Shotover/Camp Street) and a short walk from the lake and the famous Fergburger! This means we are close to the action, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful at night.

Wooden bunk beds with quality mattresses, power points, privacy curtains, lockable storage and a reading light; unlimited free WiFi and spacious lounge and equipped kitchen. Not to mention our award-winning friendly team of staff.

Haka Tours offers a number of tours around both the North and South Islands ranging in length from 7 to 24 days. Travellers can choose from a short trip around one of the islands or a full on adventure around both islands with stops in all the major destinations.

Each trip is limited to small numbers giving everyone on board the chance to get to know each other and get plenty of time to see everything New Zealand has to offer.

The dedicated staff at Haka Tours will organise not only the transport but all the accommodation during the trip. Breakfast is provided and several excursions such as a ride on the Queenstown gondola are organised throughout the tour. Travellers who want to pack even more excitement into their trip can also add optional excursions onto their package including rafting, scenic flights, and backcountry tours. Upgrades to accommodation can also be made to further customise the trip.

Haka Tours uses local Kiwi guides, who use their expert knowledge to hunt out all the best spots for sightseeing and a few extra places that only the locals would know.

Depart your home town and fly to Queenstown, arrive and transfer by bus to accommodation and check in. You will have a group orientation on arrival.

Hit the slopes at The Remarkables ski resort today which will include a ski pass, lesson and hire (included each day on the snow).

Enjoy another full day at the Remarkables, it is well and truly a remarkable experience.

Today your students will enjoy a full day of adventure to include Jetboating and hiking followed by a scenic Gondola ride and go on the iconic Luge.

Smaller and not so busy. Friendly staff and all facilities available and working. Close to main part of town without being right in the middle. Beds were comfy too

The hostel had everything you need from a hostel and friendly staff. The kitchen was well stocked and there were both indoor and outdoor common spaces to pass your time.

location was great, off the main area so it's more quiet but right beside everything. walking distance lounge area was chill kitchen was big bookings only shows that there is one washroom area but there are MULTIPLE private washrooms which i did not expect. lovely surprise staff were extremely friendly and helpful this is a quiet and less social hostel if you're looking for that. good place to settle in if you're trying to see nature in QT

We stayed in the apartment room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The location was within walking distance to the water front and gondola.

I booked this place by mistake while exploring online. It all worked out well and we would stay here again. It is a reasonably priced lodge and close to downtown Queenstown, the bus station, the gondola, and just a short Uber ride to the airport. The bus station is especially important because it is the embarkation point for the trip to Milford Sound which I highly recommend.
