The Tourist Office of Verona is located in the city center, on the main floor of the Town Hall, next to the Arena and a few minutes away from the imposing Palazzo della Gran Guardia. The operators with courtesy and dedication are available to inform users about the beautiful Verona and its surroundings, the artistic beauties, but also about ways of transport, guided tours and activities outside the classic routes, all in a dynamic land. Verona Card is your key to the city, unlocking its rich cultural heritage and helping you save!  

This combined ticket gives you free entrance to the main sights in the city, from the Arena to Juliet’s House , from Castelvecchio to the Museo Archeologico at the Teatro Romano.

There are two versions of the card available: a 24-hour card for €27 and a 48-hour card for €32. And that is not all: with the Verona Card, you can travel on buses in the city for free!

The VeronaCard is valid for the first use ( museum entrance or bus ride ) and continues for the next 24 hours or 48 hours .

Before using the VeronaCard , check the times of the sites you can visit .

Important information: - The Verona Card only gives admission to each museum/monument once. - On the first Sunday of every month, from November to March, entrance to the public museums in Verona is just €1. - The prices shown are subject to change, outside the control of the organisers. - The Verona Card is non-refundable in the event of changes to the opening hours or the closure of the partner attractions, or in the event of a strike, public holiday or for other reasons, outside the control of the organisers. - On buses run by ATV, the Verona Card must be validated by placing the card on the reader. - The Verona Card is not valid on the Aerobus airport shuttle and on the extraurban bus service. - The Verona Card is not valid for the Funicular - The opening times of all of the listed attractions, in particular the Arena and churches, are subject to change for shows, services, special events and public holidays.

Where can you purchase the Verona Card?

You can buy the card directly

- at the Tourist Information Office   (located in Via Leoncino 61 - Piazza Brà, next to Arena),

- in museum and monuments  (except for Tower of Lamberti, Lapidary Museum, Arche Scaligere and Juliet's House),

- in the main churches

- in authorised tobacco shops

- at the Verona Porta Nuova Train Station ( money exchange office, Maccorp Italiana Spa - Forexchange ).

You can buy the card  online :

- on the websites of Get Your Guide, Headout, Tiqets, Tickets&Tours and  Europa Tickets (the exchange of the voucher with the phisical card is at the Tourist Office)

- on the website of  MIda Ticket (the exchange of the voucher with the phisical card is in one of the Civic Museum of Verona)

The cards must be converted before the actual use.

Is is mandatory to book the monuments?

As for the Arena , with the Verona Card you have priority access at gate 5. For all the other sites, skip-the-line priority access is NOT provided, even if you're in possession of a Verona Card.

To visit House of Juliet is mandatory to book a time of visit on the website:  www.museiverona.com , selecting the option free Verona Card, even before you have exchanged the card.

Booking is recommended for the other sites, especially for Torre dei Lamberti , which can be reserved by e-mail by writing to [email protected]  or by calling the number +39 045 9273027.

Tickets can be purchased online via the Ticket Bus Verona app, or at the ATV Office (Piazza Renato Simoni, 12) or at an authorised retailer (tobacconists, newsagents, I.A.T.). Each ticket lasts 90 minutes from the first validation. >> ZTL information – The majority of the city centre is a restricted traffic area (“ZTL-Zona a Traffico Limitato”), closed to normal vehicles apart from residents and hotel guests.     How to get to Verona

    Verona can be easily reached by taking the Serenissima A4 motorway, Milan-Venice, Verona Sud exit, or the Modena-Brennero A22 motorway, Verona Nord exit. Parking The nearest parking lots to the historic centre are: Parking Arena Parking Citadel Parking Centre (Monumental Cemetery)

    The main railway station is Verona Porta Nuova, at the intersection of the Milan-Venice line with the Rome-Brenner line. There are frequent, direct and high-speed connections with the main stations of northern Italy, Florence and Rome. From the station you can reach the historic center on foot along Corso Porta Nuova (about 20'), by taxi or bus, direction Center, stops in Piazza Bra, Castelvecchio, Via Diaz.

    The international airport Valerio di Catullo of Verona Villafranca is located about 10 km from the city center. Shuttle bus service to and from the airport every 20 minutes from 6.10 to 23.30. The Air Terminal is located in front of the Porta Nuova railway station.

    How the Verona Card works

    The Verona Card is the official tourist card of the Verona Tourist Office. It gives you free access to many of the most popular sights and museums. It also allows you to use public transport in the city without having to buy separate tickets.

    Within 24 or 48 hours, you can make unrestricted use of a wide range of services as long as you stay within the validity period of the card.

    The more sights you visit, the cheaper it is to use the Verona Card.

    After purchase, you will receive a voucher that you can print out or save on your mobile phone. You then exchange this voucher for the actual Verona Card at the tourist information office. At the participating museums, it is enough to show the Verona Card to get free admission.

    Who is the Verona Card suitable for?

    The Verona Card is worthwhile for all travellers who use public transport and want to visit the amphitheatre and one or two other sights or museums. The Verona Card is also useful if you appreciate preferential admission to the amphitheatre without long queues.

    The card makes travelling easier, as you no longer have to worry about separate tickets and passes for public transport.

    How much does the Verona Card cost?

    The price of the Verona Card depends on the period of validity.

    • 24 hours: 27 €
    • 48 hours: 32 €

    The Verona Card for 48 hours is only slightly more expensive. But this card can be used for a full two days. Children under 8 years of age have free admission and therefore do not need their own Verona Card. In addition, many museums offer free or reduced admission for children under 14.

    Public transport in Verona

    Thanks to the Verona Card, you can use all the buses in the city transport network of the ATV transport company without any restrictions. When boarding the bus, simply scan your Verona Card at the card reader.

    Enjoy unlimited travel within the city area for up to 48 hours without having to buy a ticket.

    However, the Verona Card is not valid for the airport bus (Aerobus) and for journeys outside Verona.

    Is the Verona Card worth it?

    There are good reasons to buy the Verona Card, as it includes many popular attractions and free use of public transport.

    The Verona Card is worth it for just one day if you visit the Arena and a museum and use public transport. But if you spend two days in Verona and visit several museums and churches, the Verona Card is really worth it.

    How to reach us and how to move around.

    • Peschiera del Gard a tollgate, towards SS249 Peschiera, Bardolino, Garda and Malcesine

    Highway A22

    • From north: Highway A22 Del Brennero,  exit through Rovereto Sud tollgate , follow SS249 towards Mori and Torbole and follow the signs for Bardolino.
    • From south: Highway A22,  exit through Affi tollgate , towards Bardolino, Garda and Malcesine.

    • You can take the ATV coaches directly from Bardolino to reach Verona and other destinations on the Lake Garda eastern coast. Discover all the routes
    • You can also choose the shuttle service. It is available from Monday to Saturday, from 8 am to 7 pm. The fare is as follows: 0,80 € for residents, 1,30 € for visitors. You can find further information on the Bardolino district website

    • The nearest train station is Peschiera train station on the Milan – Venice line; from there you can take the bus to Bardolino (ATV routes).
    • Get off the train at Porta Nuova and take the bus n. 163 towards Garda; you will reach Bardolino in about 1 hour.

    Verona Valerio Catullo

    • The ATV bus n. 164 connects the Verona Airport with the train station and the Lake Garda eastern coast. It passes through Peschiera, Lazise, Bardolino. Coach station is Garda.

    Orio al Serio di Bergamo

    • From the Orio al Serio Airport  you can take a “Flixbus” up to Peschiera del Garda. From there, you can take the ATV bus n. 483 directly to Bardolino.

    Further options: Milano Linate – Treviso “A. Canova” – Venezia “Marco Polo” – Milano Malpensa

    You can take the ferry or motor vessel to move around Lake Garda or you can choose the hydrofoil or catamaran for faster routes; you can keep your bike with you on almost all of the options.

    The Desenzano-Peschiera-Riva line connects Bardolino with the other villages of the lake.

    Restricted Traffic Zones (ZTL)

    If you need to enter the ZTL to reach your accommodation, please contact the hotel or the Bardolino local police.

    The blue areas indicate pay and display parking places and they are active from the 15th of March to the 1st of November from 8am to midnight; they are free during the rest of the year.

    Parking disk is needed at Piazza Aldo Moro and Piazza della Costituzione in Bardolino.

    All residents benefit from a reduced rate in all the pay and display parking areas of the city.

    Weekly markets

    On Thursday morning Bardolino holds the weekly market, where you can find numerous stands with clothes, foodstuffs, fresh and handmade products.

    The “0 km” market: on Saturday morning the hamlet holds stands with high quality local products that you can buy directly from the producers, such as fruit and vegetables, ham, cheese and much more.

    On Tuesday , during all summer up to October, the square of Cisano holds its weekly market: twelve stalls with all kind of stuff.
