Le jeu de poker se compose de trois parties principales : les joueurs, les cartes et l’ensemble des jetons de poker.

Si les joueurs et les cartes ont toujours joué un rôle essentiel dans le jeu, l’introduction des jetons a également été révolutionnaire, car elle a permis de standardiser le jeu et de faciliter la diffusion du poker.

Que vous jouiez à domicile ou dans un casino, vous utiliserez ces disques de paris de différentes couleurs pour faire connaître vos intentions au reste de la table.

Les jetons de poker de chaque jeu ont une certaine valeur.

Dans les jeux d’argent, ces valeurs des jetons de poker sont des représentations exactes de l’argent réel, c’est-à-dire qu’un jeton de 50 € peut toujours être échangé contre 50 € en espèces.

Toutefois, les valeurs des jetons de poker dans les tournois sont différentes car elles servent à suivre la progression d’une personne dans l’épreuve, mais elles ne peuvent généralement pas être échangées contre de l’argent.

Mais, si vous commencez à peine, il est bon d’essayer de mémoriser ces choses pour éviter les erreurs coûteuses et les situations désagréables.

Bien sûr, tout le monde sait que vous ne vouliez pas gagner 400 € pour une mise de 10 €, mais les règles du poker stipulent que la mise reste valable si vous n’avez pas verbalisé votre intention.

Certains casinos ont également des jetons de poker de valeur intermédiaire, c’est-à-dire des jetons de 10 € qui peuvent être de couleur orange et des jetons jaunes de 20 €.

Au fur et à mesure que vous augmentez les mises , vous trouverez également des jetons de poker de plus haute valeur avec leurs couleurs respectives.

Une fois de plus, la plupart des casinos suivent un code de couleurs quelque peu standard que vous rencontrerez :

• 500 € – jetons violets
• 1 000 euros – marron / orange

Certains établissements rendront également leurs jetons de poker de plus grande valeur légèrement plus importants que les autres afin de réduire encore plus la possibilité d’erreurs aux tables ou à l’extérieur.

Les jetons de poker plus gros se distingueront également, ce qui les rendra plus faciles à voir pour les autres joueurs, et il y aura moins de chances qu’ils lisent mal la taille de votre pile.

Valeurs et couleurs des jetons de poker des tournois

Les tournois de poker sont différents des jeux d’argent car les blindes changent constamment. Ainsi, les tournois nécessitent généralement un plus grand nombre de jetons de poker.

De plus, les tournois commencent traditionnellement à des niveaux de blinde plus élevés, comme 25/50 ou 50/100, de sorte qu’il n’est pas nécessaire d’avoir des jetons de poker de plus petite valeur.

La plupart des casinos utilisent un jeu de poker différent pour organiser les tournois, et les règles concernant les couleurs et les dénominations semblent varier considérablement.

Ils ne sont certainement pas aussi uniformes que ceux des cash games, vous devrez donc être un peu plus attentif dans la mise en place d’un tournoi.

Si les casinos et les salles de poker ont tendance à utiliser des couleurs et des valeurs de jetons de poker quelque peu standardisées, il n’existe pas de règlement qui leur dicterait comment procéder.

Si vous voyagez et visitez différents casinos ou même si vous jouez au poker pour gagner votre vie, vous constaterez qu’il existe des différences de valeurs et de couleurs des jetons de poker entre les différents États et surtout entre les continents.

Les casinos en Europe n’utilisent pas nécessairement les mêmes couleurs qu’en Amérique ou en Australie, bien qu’il existe une sorte d’accord silencieux sur ces questions, de sorte que les différences ne sont pas si grandes.

Déterminer la valeur des jetons de poker pour les jeux à domicile

Pour la plupart des jeux de poker, la tâche sera plus facile si vous organisez une partie à 1 ou 2 euros, car vous aurez généralement accès à des jetons de couleurs et de dénominations standard.

Cela a du sens même si vous avez des dénominations de jetons de poker sur les jetons car les chiffres sont intuitifs (0,25 au lieu de 25 €, 10 € au lieu de 100 €, etc.).

Cette configuration devrait également vous donner plus qu’assez de jetons pour travailler et vous assurer de ne jamais être à court de jetons si vous utilisez un jeu de jetons de poker standard contenant 500 pièces.

Vous pouvez facilement trouver ce jeu dans la plupart des magasins, mais pour des raisons pratiques, vous pouvez vous le procurer sur amazon et vous le faire livrer avant d’organiser votre prochaine partie à domicile.

Même des jetons de 11,5 grammes suffiront pour la plupart des jeux et vous obtiendrez tout ce dont vous avez besoin à l’intérieur de ces ensembles, comme des cartes à jouer , un donneur et des blins, ainsi qu’un étui pour les transporter.

Pour un tournoi de poker, vous pouvez organiser les choses comme vous le souhaitez, à condition d’être sûr d’avoir suffisamment de jetons pour passer tous les niveaux.

Comme la plupart des parties à domicile se déroulent en quelques heures, vous n’avez pas besoin de vous en faire trop, et vous pouvez vous contenter de quelque chose comme ça :

Les World Series of Poker ne sont pas seulement le plus grand événement annuel de poker, mais aussi une marque très forte dont les joueurs attendent certaines choses.

Si vous obtenez une place dans le Main Event, vous pouvez avoir une assez bonne idée des couleurs qui correspondront à certaines valeurs de jetons de poker.

Cela ne fait peut-être pas une grande différence pour quelqu’un qui joue pour la première fois, mais ceux qui jouent régulièrement l’apprécient certainement.

Voici la liste des valeurs des jetons de poker les plus courantes aux WSOP avec leurs couleurs (dominantes) correspondantes :

• Jeton vert des WSOP : 25
• Jeton noir : 100
• Jaune : 1,000
• Jeton orange : 5,000
• Jeton vert foncé : 25 000
• Lavande : 100,000
• Jeton beige : 250 000

Avec des tournois tels que le Main Event qui durent plusieurs jours, les blindes peuvent souvent être très élevées, et les quelques joueurs restants détiennent des tas de jetons.

Dans ces scénarios, les WSOP produiront souvent des jetons de poker surdimensionnés avec des valeurs encore plus élevées.

Bien que leurs couleurs soient parfois similaires à celles utilisées pour les plus petites dénominations de jetons de poker , il est impossible de les mélanger en raison de leur taille.

Bien sûr, tous les jetons utilisés lors des World Series ont des valeurs numériques des deux côtés, il est donc assez facile de s’y retrouver même si vous oubliez quelle couleur représente quelle dénomination.

Cependant, la mémorisation de ces informations peut être très utile, surtout si vous essayez de déterminer la taille d’un pot en un coup d’œil.

Valeurs et couleurs des jetons du European poker tour

Tout comme les WSOP, l’European Poker Tour (EPT) est une marque majeure dans le monde du poker. Avec des tournois s’arrêtant dans toute l’Europe, il attire des milliers de joueurs.

Les organisateurs font de gros efforts pour que leurs joueurs se sentent chez eux, notamment en utilisant le même jeu de poker pour tous les événements.

Bien entendu, les jetons de poker de l’EPT sont de la plus haute qualité et présentent un très beau design, si bien que le fait d’avoir l’occasion de jouer avec eux est une expérience à part entière.

Si vous aimez le design et la sensation des jetons EPT, vous pouvez même obtenir un jeu de poker complet pour votre jeu à domicile, et si vous organisez des tournois, tout le monde va adorer.

Bien sûr, ces jetons ne sont pas bon marché, alors soyez prêt à payer grassement pour le plaisir, mais si vous aimez le poker, vous ne le regretterez pas.
