On arrival we were told the other 2 coup,es were on a 2 hour trip so for 20 euros we could have 2 hours Did not really want to but were pushed into it On leaving the harbour the lead boat just sped off leaving my wife and I a long way behind. There was no getting used to it close to the harbour especially as sea was quite rough After about 20 minutes we went round in a circle around the boat while the guide took loads of photos Then another 20 minutes and we stopped mid ocean and said we could go for a swim. No snorkelling as advertised. When my daughter jumped in she said it was so deep and could not see anything so for about 10 minutes just bobbed around. On the way back the sea became really rough and all parties struggled and fell a long way behind the boat. A young couple with us fell off and after a age the boat turned up and the guide lit up a fag and just laughed as the couple struggled to get back on the jet ski Finally got back to the harbour after 1 hour 15 minutes and pressured to pay the extra Then wanted 30 euros each couple for the photos This company I felt put people in unnecessary danger and the guide was a disgrace Read more Written 12 November 2019

Weather was pretty calm when heading out and then turned seriously stormy and was cold, really lumpy and a bit frightening! The pick-up and return was good but the instruction before we headed out was a bit vague, delivered by a nice guy but he didn't have great English and most of the people there, didn't speak English. My husband had plenty of experience on a jetski so we were ok but several of the people in our group didn't and were really left to their own devices, they fell way way behind the group and we were concerned for their safety, the rib didn't go back for them or anything, just let them work it out for themselves. If you've done this before, then great, it's good fun and the guys are all really nice but there's room for improvement for sure. Maybe a simple one page, laminated sheet for everyone to read and sign so that they understand how to use the jetski and how to stay close by and also, how important it is to stay in the lines AND within the distance! • jackwV5977WQ 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles ABSOULTELY LOVED IT I would just like to say before I write about my experience with monster jet ski is dont listen to reviews, the best thing to do is make your own opinion by BOOKING WITH THEM. I was sceptical at first due to the reviews on here but I was very pleasantly surprised. We chose the 2 hour session on a double. They put all of your possessions in a box at the dock when you begin with more than one member of staff present. They start by clearly explaining how to use the jet ski and due to not being able to hear them when at sea they use hand gestures which are clear and simple to follow. I noticed that some people were complaining on here about coming back too early, it takes 10 minutes or so to get everyone on the jet skis and out of the docks and out of the speed restricted area, and the same when you come back in. So that's is where your lost time is but if I'm honest you go so far out in 2 hours and I enjoyed it so much that that 20 ish minutes didn't much matter to me, if anything ut felt like more than 2 hours. They tell you to keep 50 meteres behind the person in front of you, so by doing so it keeps you safe and also gives u enough space to go full throttle and really enjoy your time and it's very easy to fall behind so you have plenty of chance to make the most of your jet ski. You stop for around 15 minutes and they give you snorkel goggle so you have the chance to have a swim and have a look below you. They advertise about visiting caves but dont be disheartened if you do not because due to the safely of the riders if the water is too choppy it's not safe to be riding near caves. In our case we didn't get to go to any caves but the jet ski experience itself was enough and was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. When you return to the dock they get you circling the boat and they take loads of photos then give you the option to purchase a memory stick for 30 euros with all the photos. The only down side is that you have everyone elses photos also on the memory stick, but there was about 70 photos of us and they are excellent memories of our experience and was definitely worth the money. All in all if you are looking for the chance to get on a jet ski and go for it and just enjoy the experience then you wont be disappoint by moster jet skis, at the end of the day people are just too picky when making reviews, you pay for a jet ski experience and that's definitely what u get. With this company we were disgusted with the service, only 1 hour 25 mins on the jet skis, we didnt do any snorkelling and we didn’t see the caves which it states is all included when they got us back on the boat we questioned the time only to be lied to and told it was half an hour ahead to disguise the fact we came back early. We then got back to shore and found out the time was wrong when asking about it he came up with loads of excuses and then walked of to the next set of guests. We went yesterday 20/09/19 after booking for the 19/09/19 in the morning. We were told they had issues with stickers on the jet skis so couldn't go out in the morning but come back at 3:50 and all will be ok. We decided to hang around the harbour area rather than trouble them to take us back to our hotel and pick us up again. So after wasting a day of our holiday we return to the port about 3:30 to these from another jet ski course.pany that they had gone home for the day as couldn't rectify the problem and just left. 1 they had out phone number but didnt call to explain and after getting in a taxi to go back to our hotel we rung the place we booked the excursion with who did call back pretty quick and told us we could go out the next day at 4pm and someone would be coming back to collect us so after paying 5 euros to the cabbie we waiting for them. They did turn up and apologise but that didnt help the day we wasted so we got picked at our hotel the next day but was 15 mins late and got to the harbour. We got on the jet skis but my friend had never rode a jet ski before and after a quick speech we was off. Well my mate was a little worried so quickly fell behind but I told the instructor who just basically waved at him to hurry up. No consideration for people who haven't had jet ski experience so he then sped up feeling a bit scared but felt he was letting everyone else down. We went for about 15 mins in a straight line and was moaned at a few times by the guy driving the jet ski we was following and then came to a stop where we all circled the main boat so they could take pictures. I have rode before but was very nervous myself as we basically had to go 40 miles an hour or get left behind. No one was behind so if anyone did fall off you was on your own. It seems they didnt really care. After the circle pics were taken the instructors in the boat and on the jet ski basically laid about for 20 mins saying you can have a swim if you want or stay on the jet ski. No snorkelling and no caves. They then laughed and joked amongst themselves and was trying to oust each other in the sea but we was all waiting to get going as we had paid for a ski trip not a lay about in the ocean trip. On the way back it was very choppy but the instructor again just sped off leaving us to drag behind. I feel there is no safety worh this company and just money orientated and especially 30 euros for a few pics after roaying 180 for 2 jet skis. I would not recommend this company unless you are experienced thrill seekers. If you are a family or people who have not been on jet skis before the definitely go with another company. This was like no other jet skiing trip. Complete new experience for me jet skiing around the island as before I’d only done it within a bay. My only complaint would be when being picked up and dropped off the driver was quite rude also wasn’t very well organised. Paid 100 for a double jet ski for two hours but half way a mum and daughter feel off and didn’t want to drive any more so we both got to drive on our own. Photos were far to expensive and the girl selling them was on the phone the whole time whilst we were looking at them so wasn’t very helpful. Overall jet skis brilliant. We were picked up on time from our hotel. We were then driven to another hotel to pick up more people, however the guy didnt know where he was going, so to make up for lost time, he drove like a bat outta hell to our destination about 20 minutes away. On arrival we were asked if we would like to upgrade to 2hrs as everyone else was, but with a 17 and 12 year old we thought 1 hr was plenty. Got ready, life jackets, quick safety brief and into the boat before transfering to the jets. The instructors stayed on the boat at the front, with the 7 jet skiis following behind, thats if you can keep up with them! The boat is so far out in the ocean,(which is very choppy) you can hardly see it, so i guess they can hardly see us either, and there lies the issue, if anyone was to fall in or run into trouble ive no idea how they would be able to see it happen. It was our first time ever doing this, so we were nervous and because i didnt feel safe i couldnt enjoy the experience, it would have been better if there was a boat also behind us. They also explain hand signals at the start, but again they are so far away you cant see these, so no point. When we booked the girl told us they take you to caves, they didnt, and also it wasnt an hour more like 40 minutes. We did buy the photos for 30 euors, which have been good quality. • jordantravel94 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles mixed feelings we were picked up from out hotel the driver was very pleasant and welcoming, once we arrived at the jet skis we were told 5 minutes however that was more like 20minutes after the waiting they took us out in a boat and got onto the jet skis outside the harbour, from there we literally went one stright line up the coast stopped at random place done circles around the boat so they could take pictures turn around and come back. we were nervous as it was out fisrt time and felt like we could tip the jet ski pretty easy not once did the boat guy look back to check if anyone had fallen. on the return journey the waves were about 4 meters and he still proceeded to just drive off in the boat and not look back finnaly on the broucher it said caves and hand help water propelled thingy to have a go of we didnt go anywhere near a cave or have a go of this machine thing all in all wounded use this operator again we did have fun at point but could do better. • jamesns35 0 contributions 2.0 of 5 bubbles Disappointing Reading reviews I mistakenly believed Monster would be a great tour/excursion, especially considering their brand. I was wrong. Picked up punctually at the hotel and the driver was very polite and welcoming. On arrival at the port there was little by way of any explanation as to what was or would be happening. We got a very brief safety briefing, with a dodgy diagram on a piece of whiteboard. With 2 hours from 10am booked, having waited easily 20+ mins on land, we went on a boat to the mouth of the harbour for another good half hour wait where the guy on the boat gave us some fine examples of political incorrectness, sexism and homophobia. Eventually we set off into the Atlantic, by now it’s past 11am. No real guidance and being quite nervous first time skiers we were left trailing at the back. The rest of the trip was ok (sea was a bit choppy but clearly can’t and wouldn’t blame Monster for that!) and we had a swim in the Atlantic but we were back on land by 1235. 1100 to 1235 (and these are generous timings) does not equal 2 hours. And we also didn’t get the snorkelling promised on the leaflet. Would I jet ski again? Yes. Would I use Monster again? No. Great experience but quite disappointing overall. Expected much much better. We didn’t need to worry about getting to the harbour as they provide a free pick up and drop off. The bus arrived on time to pick us up and it was only a short journey to get us to the harbour. We were provided with a health and safety briefing and appropriate jackets. The staff were all extremely professional and overall a great day out. Do I need a license to drive a jet ski?

No, with Jet ski Racing, you won’t have to worry about having a boat licence.

Who can ride a Jet ski?

 All you need to do is be 16 years old if driving alone and 18 years old if accompanied by a passenger. Furthermore, you can bring your children with you, with a minimum age of 6 years.

Is there a weight limit?

The jet skis have a load limit of approximately 160 kg overall rider + passenger. Before booking a double motorbike, we invite you to take this information into consideration.

How hard is it to drive a Jetski?

Sailing on a jet ski is a really simple and fun experience, you just need to follow a few tricks that we will explain to you at the beginning of the activity.

How many jet skis does the group consist of?

The groups are made up of a maximum of 4 motorcycles and will carry out the activity accompanied by an expert guide who will be able to provide assistance in case of emergency.

Will the guide provide an explanation?

Of course, each guide will explain in several languages, the correct navigation techniques and the correct use of the jet ski.

By following a few simple navigation rules, everyone can enjoy a safe and memorable journey.

Are jet skis safe?

Safety is a top priority when it comes to jet skiing.

Each jet ski is equipped with a safety key to stop the engine in the event of a fall, the boat with the guides will be available all the time in case of an emergency and will check that all participants comply with the safety rules explained .

What is the maximum speed?

Certainly!  to ensure everyone’s safety, each customer will be provided with a life jacket which must be worn throughout the activity.

Is there a place where I can leave my backpack?

Free video surveillance storage is provided,  a safe place to store all personal belongings, which helps prevent any accidents or loss or damage while on the safari.

Where will we go on the excursion?

The routes we do every day will take you to visit  Los Cristianos, la Caleta, el Palmar, Playa el Duque. 

What will we see during the safari?

We carry out a photo shoot of about 100 photos per motorcycle for all customers, once the activity is finished, we will show you your shots on the PC.

The only down side is that you have everyone elses photos also on the memory stick, but there was about 70 photos of us and they are excellent memories of our experience and was definitely worth the money. We went yesterday 20/09/19 after booking for the 19/09/19 in the morning. We were told they had issues with stickers on the jet skis so couldn't go out in the morning but come back at 3:50 and all will be ok. We decided to hang around the harbour area rather than trouble them to take us back to our hotel and pick us up again. So after wasting a day of our holiday we return to the port about 3:30 to these from another jet ski course.pany that they had gone home for the day as couldn't rectify the problem and just left. 1 they had out phone number but didnt call to explain and after getting in a taxi to go back to our hotel we rung the place we booked the excursion with who did call back pretty quick and told us we could go out the next day at 4pm and someone would be coming back to collect us so after paying 5 euros to the cabbie we waiting for them. They did turn up and apologise but that didnt help the day we wasted so we got picked at our hotel the next day but was 15 mins late and got to the harbour. We got on the jet skis but my friend had never rode a jet ski before and after a quick speech we was off. Well my mate was a little worried so quickly fell behind but I told the instructor who just basically waved at him to hurry up. No consideration for people who haven't had jet ski experience so he then sped up feeling a bit scared but felt he was letting everyone else down. We went for about 15 mins in a straight line and was moaned at a few times by the guy driving the jet ski we was following and then came to a stop where we all circled the main boat so they could take pictures. I have rode before but was very nervous myself as we basically had to go 40 miles an hour or get left behind. No one was behind so if anyone did fall off you was on your own. It seems they didnt really care. After the circle pics were taken the instructors in the boat and on the jet ski basically laid about for 20 mins saying you can have a swim if you want or stay on the jet ski. No snorkelling and no caves. They then laughed and joked amongst themselves and was trying to oust each other in the sea but we was all waiting to get going as we had paid for a ski trip not a lay about in the ocean trip. On the way back it was very choppy but the instructor again just sped off leaving us to drag behind. I feel there is no safety worh this company and just money orientated and especially 30 euros for a few pics after roaying 180 for 2 jet skis. I would not recommend this company unless you are experienced thrill seekers. If you are a family or people who have not been on jet skis before the definitely go with another company. This was like no other jet skiing trip. Complete new experience for me jet skiing around the island as before I’d only done it within a bay. My only complaint would be when being picked up and dropped off the driver was quite rude also wasn’t very well organised. Paid 100 for a double jet ski for two hours but half way a mum and daughter feel off and didn’t want to drive any more so we both got to drive on our own. Photos were far to expensive and the girl selling them was on the phone the whole time whilst we were looking at them so wasn’t very helpful. Overall jet skis brilliant. We were picked up on time from our hotel. We were then driven to another hotel to pick up more people, however the guy didnt know where he was going, so to make up for lost time, he drove like a bat outta hell to our destination about 20 minutes away. On arrival we were asked if we would like to upgrade to 2hrs as everyone else was, but with a 17 and 12 year old we thought 1 hr was plenty. Got ready, life jackets, quick safety brief and into the boat before transfering to the jets. The instructors stayed on the boat at the front, with the 7 jet skiis following behind, thats if you can keep up with them! The boat is so far out in the ocean,(which is very choppy) you can hardly see it, so i guess they can hardly see us either, and there lies the issue, if anyone was to fall in or run into trouble ive no idea how they would be able to see it happen. It was our first time ever doing this, so we were nervous and because i didnt feel safe i couldnt enjoy the experience, it would have been better if there was a boat also behind us. They also explain hand signals at the start, but again they are so far away you cant see these, so no point. When we booked the girl told us they take you to caves, they didnt, and also it wasnt an hour more like 40 minutes. We did buy the photos for 30 euors, which have been good quality. • jordantravel94 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles mixed feelings we were picked up from out hotel the driver was very pleasant and welcoming, once we arrived at the jet skis we were told 5 minutes however that was more like 20minutes after the waiting they took us out in a boat and got onto the jet skis outside the harbour, from there we literally went one stright line up the coast stopped at random place done circles around the boat so they could take pictures turn around and come back. we were nervous as it was out fisrt time and felt like we could tip the jet ski pretty easy not once did the boat guy look back to check if anyone had fallen. on the return journey the waves were about 4 meters and he still proceeded to just drive off in the boat and not look back finnaly on the broucher it said caves and hand help water propelled thingy to have a go of we didnt go anywhere near a cave or have a go of this machine thing all in all wounded use this operator again we did have fun at point but could do better. Picked up punctually at the hotel and the driver was very polite and welcoming. On arrival at the port there was little by way of any explanation as to what was or would be happening. We got a very brief safety briefing, with a dodgy diagram on a piece of whiteboard. With 2 hours from 10am booked, having waited easily 20+ mins on land, we went on a boat to the mouth of the harbour for another good half hour wait where the guy on the boat gave us some fine examples of political incorrectness, sexism and homophobia. Eventually we set off into the Atlantic, by now it’s past 11am. No real guidance and being quite nervous first time skiers we were left trailing at the back. The rest of the trip was ok (sea was a bit choppy but clearly can’t and wouldn’t blame Monster for that!) and we had a swim in the Atlantic but we were back on land by 1235. 1100 to 1235 (and these are generous timings) does not equal 2 hours. And we also didn’t get the snorkelling promised on the leaflet. Would I jet ski again? Yes. Would I use Monster again? No. Great experience but quite disappointing overall. Expected much much better. We didn’t need to worry about getting to the harbour as they provide a free pick up and drop off. The bus arrived on time to pick us up and it was only a short journey to get us to the harbour. We were provided with a health and safety briefing and appropriate jackets. The staff were all extremely professional and overall a great day out. On arrival we were told the other 2 coup,es were on a 2 hour trip so for 20 euros we could have 2 hours Did not really want to but were pushed into it On leaving the harbour the lead boat just sped off leaving my wife and I a long way behind. There was no getting used to it close to the harbour especially as sea was quite rough After about 20 minutes we went round in a circle around the boat while the guide took loads of photos Then another 20 minutes and we stopped mid ocean and said we could go for a swim. No snorkelling as advertised. When my daughter jumped in she said it was so deep and could not see anything so for about 10 minutes just bobbed around. On the way back the sea became really rough and all parties struggled and fell a long way behind the boat. A young couple with us fell off and after a age the boat turned up and the guide lit up a fag and just laughed as the couple struggled to get back on the jet ski Finally got back to the harbour after 1 hour 15 minutes and pressured to pay the extra Then wanted 30 euros each couple for the photos This company I felt put people in unnecessary danger and the guide was a disgrace Read more Written 12 November 2019

Weather was pretty calm when heading out and then turned seriously stormy and was cold, really lumpy and a bit frightening! The pick-up and return was good but the instruction before we headed out was a bit vague, delivered by a nice guy but he didn't have great English and most of the people there, didn't speak English. My husband had plenty of experience on a jetski so we were ok but several of the people in our group didn't and were really left to their own devices, they fell way way behind the group and we were concerned for their safety, the rib didn't go back for them or anything, just let them work it out for themselves. If you've done this before, then great, it's good fun and the guys are all really nice but there's room for improvement for sure. Maybe a simple one page, laminated sheet for everyone to read and sign so that they understand how to use the jetski and how to stay close by and also, how important it is to stay in the lines AND within the distance! • jackwV5977WQ 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles ABSOULTELY LOVED IT I would just like to say before I write about my experience with monster jet ski is dont listen to reviews, the best thing to do is make your own opinion by BOOKING WITH THEM. I was sceptical at first due to the reviews on here but I was very pleasantly surprised. We chose the 2 hour session on a double. They put all of your possessions in a box at the dock when you begin with more than one member of staff present. They start by clearly explaining how to use the jet ski and due to not being able to hear them when at sea they use hand gestures which are clear and simple to follow. I noticed that some people were complaining on here about coming back too early, it takes 10 minutes or so to get everyone on the jet skis and out of the docks and out of the speed restricted area, and the same when you come back in. So that's is where your lost time is but if I'm honest you go so far out in 2 hours and I enjoyed it so much that that 20 ish minutes didn't much matter to me, if anything ut felt like more than 2 hours. They tell you to keep 50 meteres behind the person in front of you, so by doing so it keeps you safe and also gives u enough space to go full throttle and really enjoy your time and it's very easy to fall behind so you have plenty of chance to make the most of your jet ski. You stop for around 15 minutes and they give you snorkel goggle so you have the chance to have a swim and have a look below you. They advertise about visiting caves but dont be disheartened if you do not because due to the safely of the riders if the water is too choppy it's not safe to be riding near caves. In our case we didn't get to go to any caves but the jet ski experience itself was enough and was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. When you return to the dock they get you circling the boat and they take loads of photos then give you the option to purchase a memory stick for 30 euros with all the photos. The only down side is that you have everyone elses photos also on the memory stick, but there was about 70 photos of us and they are excellent memories of our experience and was definitely worth the money. Weather was pretty calm when heading out and then turned seriously stormy and was cold, really lumpy and a bit frightening! The pick-up and return was good but the instruction before we headed out was a bit vague, delivered by a nice guy but he didn't have great English and most of the people there, didn't speak English. My husband had plenty of experience on a jetski so we were ok but several of the people in our group didn't and were really left to their own devices, they fell way way behind the group and we were concerned for their safety, the rib didn't go back for them or anything, just let them work it out for themselves. If you've done this before, then great, it's good fun and the guys are all really nice but there's room for improvement for sure. Maybe a simple one page, laminated sheet for everyone to read and sign so that they understand how to use the jetski and how to stay close by and also, how important it is to stay in the lines AND within the distance! • jackwV5977WQ 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles ABSOULTELY LOVED IT I would just like to say before I write about my experience with monster jet ski is dont listen to reviews, the best thing to do is make your own opinion by BOOKING WITH THEM. I was sceptical at first due to the reviews on here but I was very pleasantly surprised. We chose the 2 hour session on a double. They put all of your possessions in a box at the dock when you begin with more than one member of staff present. They start by clearly explaining how to use the jet ski and due to not being able to hear them when at sea they use hand gestures which are clear and simple to follow. I noticed that some people were complaining on here about coming back too early, it takes 10 minutes or so to get everyone on the jet skis and out of the docks and out of the speed restricted area, and the same when you come back in. So that's is where your lost time is but if I'm honest you go so far out in 2 hours and I enjoyed it so much that that 20 ish minutes didn't much matter to me, if anything ut felt like more than 2 hours. They tell you to keep 50 meteres behind the person in front of you, so by doing so it keeps you safe and also gives u enough space to go full throttle and really enjoy your time and it's very easy to fall behind so you have plenty of chance to make the most of your jet ski. You stop for around 15 minutes and they give you snorkel goggle so you have the chance to have a swim and have a look below you. They advertise about visiting caves but dont be disheartened if you do not because due to the safely of the riders if the water is too choppy it's not safe to be riding near caves. In our case we didn't get to go to any caves but the jet ski experience itself was enough and was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. When you return to the dock they get you circling the boat and they take loads of photos then give you the option to purchase a memory stick for 30 euros with all the photos. The only down side is that you have everyone elses photos also on the memory stick, but there was about 70 photos of us and they are excellent memories of our experience and was definitely worth the money. All in all if you are looking for the chance to get on a jet ski and go for it and just enjoy the experience then you wont be disappoint by moster jet skis, at the end of the day people are just too picky when making reviews, you pay for a jet ski experience and that's definitely what u get. With this company we were disgusted with the service, only 1 hour 25 mins on the jet skis, we didnt do any snorkelling and we didn’t see the caves which it states is all included when they got us back on the boat we questioned the time only to be lied to and told it was half an hour ahead to disguise the fact we came back early. We then got back to shore and found out the time was wrong when asking about it he came up with loads of excuses and then walked of to the next set of guests. We went yesterday 20/09/19 after booking for the 19/09/19 in the morning. We were told they had issues with stickers on the jet skis so couldn't go out in the morning but come back at 3:50 and all will be ok. We decided to hang around the harbour area rather than trouble them to take us back to our hotel and pick us up again. So after wasting a day of our holiday we return to the port about 3:30 to these from another jet ski course.pany that they had gone home for the day as couldn't rectify the problem and just left. 1 they had out phone number but didnt call to explain and after getting in a taxi to go back to our hotel we rung the place we booked the excursion with who did call back pretty quick and told us we could go out the next day at 4pm and someone would be coming back to collect us so after paying 5 euros to the cabbie we waiting for them. They did turn up and apologise but that didnt help the day we wasted so we got picked at our hotel the next day but was 15 mins late and got to the harbour. We got on the jet skis but my friend had never rode a jet ski before and after a quick speech we was off. Well my mate was a little worried so quickly fell behind but I told the instructor who just basically waved at him to hurry up. No consideration for people who haven't had jet ski experience so he then sped up feeling a bit scared but felt he was letting everyone else down. We went for about 15 mins in a straight line and was moaned at a few times by the guy driving the jet ski we was following and then came to a stop where we all circled the main boat so they could take pictures. I have rode before but was very nervous myself as we basically had to go 40 miles an hour or get left behind. No one was behind so if anyone did fall off you was on your own. It seems they didnt really care. After the circle pics were taken the instructors in the boat and on the jet ski basically laid about for 20 mins saying you can have a swim if you want or stay on the jet ski. No snorkelling and no caves. They then laughed and joked amongst themselves and was trying to oust each other in the sea but we was all waiting to get going as we had paid for a ski trip not a lay about in the ocean trip. On the way back it was very choppy but the instructor again just sped off leaving us to drag behind. I feel there is no safety worh this company and just money orientated and especially 30 euros for a few pics after roaying 180 for 2 jet skis. I would not recommend this company unless you are experienced thrill seekers. If you are a family or people who have not been on jet skis before the definitely go with another company. This was like no other jet skiing trip. Complete new experience for me jet skiing around the island as before I’d only done it within a bay. My only complaint would be when being picked up and dropped off the driver was quite rude also wasn’t very well organised. Paid 100 for a double jet ski for two hours but half way a mum and daughter feel off and didn’t want to drive any more so we both got to drive on our own. Photos were far to expensive and the girl selling them was on the phone the whole time whilst we were looking at them so wasn’t very helpful. Overall jet skis brilliant. We were picked up on time from our hotel. We were then driven to another hotel to pick up more people, however the guy didnt know where he was going, so to make up for lost time, he drove like a bat outta hell to our destination about 20 minutes away. On arrival we were asked if we would like to upgrade to 2hrs as everyone else was, but with a 17 and 12 year old we thought 1 hr was plenty. Got ready, life jackets, quick safety brief and into the boat before transfering to the jets. The instructors stayed on the boat at the front, with the 7 jet skiis following behind, thats if you can keep up with them! The boat is so far out in the ocean,(which is very choppy) you can hardly see it, so i guess they can hardly see us either, and there lies the issue, if anyone was to fall in or run into trouble ive no idea how they would be able to see it happen. It was our first time ever doing this, so we were nervous and because i didnt feel safe i couldnt enjoy the experience, it would have been better if there was a boat also behind us. They also explain hand signals at the start, but again they are so far away you cant see these, so no point. When we booked the girl told us they take you to caves, they didnt, and also it wasnt an hour more like 40 minutes. We did buy the photos for 30 euors, which have been good quality. • jordantravel94 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles mixed feelings we were picked up from out hotel the driver was very pleasant and welcoming, once we arrived at the jet skis we were told 5 minutes however that was more like 20minutes after the waiting they took us out in a boat and got onto the jet skis outside the harbour, from there we literally went one stright line up the coast stopped at random place done circles around the boat so they could take pictures turn around and come back. we were nervous as it was out fisrt time and felt like we could tip the jet ski pretty easy not once did the boat guy look back to check if anyone had fallen. on the return journey the waves were about 4 meters and he still proceeded to just drive off in the boat and not look back finnaly on the broucher it said caves and hand help water propelled thingy to have a go of we didnt go anywhere near a cave or have a go of this machine thing all in all wounded use this operator again we did have fun at point but could do better. • jamesns35 0 contributions 2.0 of 5 bubbles Disappointing Reading reviews I mistakenly believed Monster would be a great tour/excursion, especially considering their brand. I was wrong. Picked up punctually at the hotel and the driver was very polite and welcoming. On arrival at the port there was little by way of any explanation as to what was or would be happening. We got a very brief safety briefing, with a dodgy diagram on a piece of whiteboard. With 2 hours from 10am booked, having waited easily 20+ mins on land, we went on a boat to the mouth of the harbour for another good half hour wait where the guy on the boat gave us some fine examples of political incorrectness, sexism and homophobia. Eventually we set off into the Atlantic, by now it’s past 11am. No real guidance and being quite nervous first time skiers we were left trailing at the back. The rest of the trip was ok (sea was a bit choppy but clearly can’t and wouldn’t blame Monster for that!) and we had a swim in the Atlantic but we were back on land by 1235. 1100 to 1235 (and these are generous timings) does not equal 2 hours. And we also didn’t get the snorkelling promised on the leaflet. Would I jet ski again? Yes. Would I use Monster again? No. Great experience but quite disappointing overall. Expected much much better. We didn’t need to worry about getting to the harbour as they provide a free pick up and drop off. The bus arrived on time to pick us up and it was only a short journey to get us to the harbour. We were provided with a health and safety briefing and appropriate jackets. The staff were all extremely professional and overall a great day out.
