Sightseeing in Kathmandu City and Travel to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur

Good morning, the city of Lakes. After breakfast, set out for the city sightseeing. There are several natural sites like David Falls, Gupteshor Cave, Seti River Gorge, Fewa Lake, and other attractions like the International Mountaineering Museum, World Peace Stupa, Mahadev Statue, etc. While returning back, you can enjoy boating on the Phewa Lake. Overnight at the hotel. 

Sarangkot sunrise tour and drive back to Kathmandu.

Sarangkot is the best viewpoint of the Annapurna Himalayan chain near Pokhara. Mt. Annapurna, Nilgiri, Himchuli, Dhaulagiri, and other surrounding peaks are major attractions of Sarangkot. Returning back to the hotel, have breakfast, and drive back to Kathmandu. It takes about 7-8 hours. Overnight at the hotel. 

Chandragiri cable car trip and Swayambhunath sightseeing. Then drive to Nagarkot.

Having breakfast at the hotel, drive to Chandragiri and enjoy the cable car ride to the viewpoint of the Kathmandu valley. Weather allowing, Chandragiri hilltop offers dramatic Himalayan scenery. Chandragiri is also a historical point to note. Enjoy the cable car ride, drive back, and visit the Swayambhunath Stupa. It's amazing to walk and explore this spiritual location. After Swayambhu sightseeing, drive further to Nagarkot. 

Transfer to the airport for departure.

ITENARY IN DETAIL:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and travel directly to Nagarkot

On your arrival in Kathmandu, staff from AV (Aura Vacation) will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) holding your nameplate with a warm welcome and greetings. From there you will be directly taken to Nagarkot and will be accommodated designated Hotel. Before/after reaching the Hotel, we will be going to the hill for a beautiful sunset view.

Day 02: Sunrise view, Breakfast, and Travel to Pokhara: Early in the morning you will view an incredible sunrise view and Himalayan ranges view from the hotel. You will be treated to a breakfast buffet at the hotel, and then you will go immediately in the direction of Pokhara city. Mid-way, we can have lunch, you will be going to Pokhara city and you can roam around in your leisure time.

Day 03: Sarankot Sunrise view and Sightseeing in Pokhara: In the morning we will head to Sarankot and view the incredible Sunrise view and Himalayan range view and have a buffet breakfast back at the hotel. After this refreshing trip, we will be roaming around Pokhara viewing the following heritage sites: Davis Fall, Gupteswor  Mahadev Cave, Seti River George, and Phewa Lake where will be doing short boating as well.  After this visit, we will return back to the hotel. You will be free to roam around or you may take  a rest.

Day 04: Breakfast and travel to Kathmandu. On the last day at Pokhara, we will have breakfast in the hotel and head towards Kathmandu. On the way, we will be enjoying the ride on a Cable car at the place called ‘Kurintar’. 

Note: Cable car ride fee is not included in the package.

The place we reach at a distance of 2.8 km on a cable car is called ‘Manakamana’ hill at a height of 4272ft. When we have finished our hike and returned to Kurintar, we will have a lovely lunch before continuing on to Kathmandu.

Day 05: Sightseeing in Kathmandu: – In the morning we will have a buffet breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we will start our Kathmandu sightseeing.

When’s the best time to visit nepal.

If you want to go hiking, the best times to go are in the spring (March to May) and the fall (September to November), when the weather is cooler and the sky is more likely to be clear. Bear in mind that this is also the busiest time of the year on the trails (although there are ways to avoid crowds). The winter months (December through February) and the summer months (June through August) are also wonderful times to visit; despite the fact that the weather during these months can be unpredictable, visitors will have a more authentic experience as well as fewer tourists. Hello It was a wonderful experience of Nepal tour for us. All arrangements were up to the mark. Transport with the bus was swift and the driver and the helper were skillful, helpful and polite. Today enroute to Chitwan we enjoy a scenic ropeway ride to visit the Manakamana Devi Temple - a sacred place of the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati. Further we visit Kathmandu Darbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa - one of the glorious stupas in the world whose establishment is linked to the creation of Kathmandu valley. In the evening, we have free time for shopping in local market and also a get-together with our travel companions.

Kathmandu – Departure to your hometown
