Virtual Zoo Tours
Virtual tour details.
Cost: $100 Length: 30 minutes
Does your class want to see the animals, but you just can’t make it to the Zoo in person? Or are you looking for a fun and unique virtual experience for your employees? Book a virtual tour!
You'll connect with a Zoo Educator as they present some of the Saint Louis Zoo's amazing animals — all via Zoom video chat! During this 30-minute program, you can interact with your personal Zoo Educator and ask questions* while learning about the Zoo's dedication to caring for our animals.
* We are able to accommodate groups of up to 500 individuals for virtual tours (for participants within a reasonable age/grade range). Please note, however, for groups larger than 35 participants, we will present the tour as a Zoom webinar. You will be able to see and hear the presenters, but the presenters will not be able to see or hear the participants. Participants can still interact via chat and the Q&A feature in Zoom.
Minimum two weeks' booking notice for virtual programs. Subject to availability.
Virtual Tour Options:
Due to the large size of the Zoo, only a small preselected section will be visited. Zoo educators reserve the right to change locations on the day of the program, based on animal needs and/or weather conditions.
Scales and Slime
Virtually visit the Charles H. Hoessle Herpetarium and discover some of the radical reptiles and amazing amphibians that call the Zoo home. King cobra? Pig-nosed turtle? Hellbender? You never know what you might see next!
Playful Primates
The Zoo is home to many curious apes, lemurs and monkeys. We will virtually guide you through either Primate Canopy Trails or Jungle of the Apes where you can observe primates engaging in natural behaviors like climbing, swinging or just playing around!
Small Wonders
Virtually visit the Bayer Insectarium and discover our small but mighty invertebrates. The Insectarium is home to more than 100 species! Sign up to learn why these often-misunderstood animals are so important.
Beautiful Birds
Discover the different beaks, feet and feathers of the beautiful birds at the Saint Louis Zoo. From a small burrowing owl to a big bateleur eagle or a rhinoceros hornbill, you never know what flying friend you might see next!
Surprise Safari
Virtually visit a Zoo location of your choice: At the beginning of your program, your Zoo Educator will provide two surprise options. Your group will vote to determine where your adventure begins!
Book Today!

Less than ten business days Prior to Program:
