IRCTC Tourism Launches Thailand Tour Package Starting From Rs 47,775 Per Person

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Services (IRCTC) has launched a holiday package to Thailand starting from Rs 47,775 per person. The six-day and five-night air tour package will cover destinations like Pattaya and Bangkok.

The tour will begin on August 11 from Imphal, Manipur. The tourists will leave for Bangkok via Kolkata in an Air India flight, according to IRCTC Tourism, the tourism arm of Indian Railways. The package will include return airfare, hotel accommodation, food, local travel and travel insurance.

The tour package will cover Coral Island Tour and Alcazar Show at Pattaya, Safari world with Marine Park at Bangkok, Bangkok City Tour including popular sites like Golden Buddha and Marble Buddha. Local tour guides will also be provided by the IRCTC.

The tour package starts at Rs 47,775 per person on a double sharing basis. Those who want single sharing hotel accommodation can avail the package at Rs 53,781 per person. The price for children ranges between Rs 41,000-46,000

The booking tour package is open for booking through the official website of IRCTC—www.irctctourism.com. Apart from this, booking can also be done through IRCTC Tourist Facilitation Center, Zonal Offices and Regional Offices.

Thailand IRCTC Tour Itinerary Package

Day 1 : Kolkata to Bangkok

The tour planner will ask you to gather at the Kolkata Airport on a scheduled time and once you get assembled, you will be first taught about the do’s and don’ts of Thailand. After 3 hrs. and 15 minutes overnight flight journey, you will reach Bangkok Airport where you go through some formalities and join the queue for VISA on arrival stamp.

Then, you will head for breakfast and later, you will depart for Pattaya. On reaching Pattaya, you will perform some check-in formalities and after a quick refreshment, you will head for Alcazar show. Alcazar show is a theatre performance where many colorful stage acts are shown for the interest of their visitor.

When you will enjoy the dinner, you will head back to your hotel room for an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Coral Island Sightseeing Tour

When you will finish your breakfast, you will resume your Thailand journey and today’s schedule involve sightseeing in Coral Island on a speed boat.

Coral Island is the most visited island in Thailand because of its turquoise water and being formed mostly from coral detritus. The island proudly boasts about its formation from the organic material. So, it will be fun to explore this beautiful island and connect with nature. And don’t forget about the beach activities that you get to enjoy here.

In the evening, you will return back to Pattaya where you will first enjoy cuisines at a famous Indian restaurant. And afterwards a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 3 : Back to Bangkok

After having breakfast, you will resume with the plan of cruising back to Bangkok. On reaching Bangkok, you will, as usual, go through some formalities and enjoy a quick freshen up session.

Then, you will head for a local sightseeing tour of Golden Buddha and Marble Buddha. Golden Buddha is a marvelous stupa where stands a gold ornated Buddha statue which weighs about 5.5 tones so, here you can admire the architectural creativity of Thailand. And, next will be Marble Buddha, which is also known as Wat Benchamabophit Dusit Vanaram and it majorly attracts thousands of tourists every day.

Next, you will enjoy your lunch in a quiet environment and afterwards, you are free to have a shopping experience in Bangkok.

Day 4 : Safari World Tour Excursion

Once you finish breakfast, today will be an adventurous day ahead for you. Safari world is 500 acres of park which distributed as 480 acres of an open zoo and 108 acres of a bird sanctuary. So today, you will be enjoying the wildlife experience in Bangkok and connect deeply with nature.

After this short excursion, you will enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and will be transferred back to Bangkok Airport from where you will board flight back to Kolkata.

Day 5 : Arrival back in Kolkata

After an overnight flight, you will arrive in Kolkata in the morning. And with this, the tour operator will say his goodbyes to you.

Thailand tour package by IRCTC

The Thailand tour package is for 4 nights and 5 days. The tour will begin on December 29, 2019 and will end on January 2, 2020. Read on for information on flight details, hotel stay, sightseeing and more, as provided by the IRCTC. 

Thailand tour package - Flight schedule

The tour to Thailand will commence from Mumbai. Tourists will depart from Mumbai Airport on December 29, at 2:40 am. The arrival in Bangkok will be at 9:05 am the next day. Similarly, the departure from Bangkok would be at 10:10 pm on January 2 and the arrival in Mumbai will be at 1:35 am.

Thailand tour package - Hotel stay, meals and sightseeing

Day 1, Mumbai-Bangkok

After arriving at Bangkok Airport, the passengers will be taken for breakfast at a restaurant. Post breakfast, you will proceed to Bangkok city and temple tour, which will include Golden Budha and Marbel Temple. Thereafter, lunch will be provided at an Indian restaurant after which the tourists will check-in into their hotel. In the evening, you will be free for leisure, or you can even opt for a tour to Chao Phraya River Cruise. 

Day 2, Bangkok  

After an overnight stay at the hotel in Bangkok, tourists will be provided with breakfast. Thereafter, you will proceed for Safari world with Marine Park. Lunch will be provided at the park after which you will be dropped at the Indira Market for some shopping. Tourists will be taken back to the hotel after having dinner. 

Day 3, Bangkok – Pattaya

Morning will begin with breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out from the hotel. The tourists will then be taken to Pattaya enroute visit Sriracha Tiger Show. Lunch will be provided at an Indian restaurant. You will check-in into the hotel after arriving in Pattaya, which would be followed by a gala dinner at an Indian restaurant. 

Day 4, Pattaya

Tourists will proceed for Coral Island tour after breakfast at their hotel. Lunch will be provided at an Indian restaurant. Thereafter, you can look forward to a well-spent evening at the Alcazar Show. Tourists will be dropped back to the hotel for an overnight stay after being provided with dinner. 

Day 5, Pattaya - Bangkok – Mumbai

Tourists will check-out from their hotel after having breakfast at the hotel. They will then be taken to Bangkok, en route visit Gems gallery, shopping drop at Indira Market, which will be followed by lunch. In the evening, tourists will be taken to Suvarnabhoomi Airport with packed dinner. The departure from Bangkok will be at 10:10 pm.

IRCTC introduces affordable Thailand tour packages; Check details

Pune: Just a matter of few days and this year will end and travellers are now looking In some time, the year 2023 will end and people will start celebrating the new year 2024. The package will start from Mumbai.

As per information from the official website of IRCTC , IRCTC has introduced a tour package called Treasures of Thailand Ex Mumbai. Under this package, you will get a chance to travel to Thailand for 4 nights and 5 days. During this package, you will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful places of Bangkok and Pattaya. You will have to spend a minimum of Rs 58,900 for this complete package.

For passengers of this tour package, the journey from Mumbai to Bangkok (Thailand) is by air. In this package, tourists will get many facilities like hotel stay, flight ticket, food and drink. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided by IRCTC.
