Everybody remain calm —  Taylor Swift just officially announced a second North American leg of her ‘Eras Tour’ with special guest Gracie Abrams in October and November 2024.

This time around, she’ll swing into Miami , New Orleans , Indianapolis and Toronto for 15 additional gigs.

Over the past few months, Swifties speculated that the 12-time Grammy winner would add surprise dates to the tour making sure to hit major cities she skipped over during the first leg.

Now that the prophecy is official, here’s the scoop on everything we know so far:

• Who? For the international tour, Taylor announced Sabrina Carpenter will serve as the opening act. When she returns to North America, Gracie Abrams will return to the stage as Swift’s opener. It should be said that Gracie Abrams is a star in her own right. Her song “I miss you, I’m sorry” has upwards of 100 million streams on Spotify and she headlined her own tour this spring as well.

When Are the New Dates for Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’?

Fans are going to have to wait until the fall of 2024 to see Taylor in concert. The Grammy winner be performing three shows at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium between October 18 through the 20, then moving on to three back-to-back dates at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome from October 25 through the 27. Taylor’s last U.S. stop will be at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium, where she will play three shows between November 1 and November 3, before heading north of the border for a whopping six shows at Toronto’s Rogers Centre between November 14 and November 23, 2024. Those will be Taylor’s only tour stops in Canada.

The superstar on Thursday announced another expansion of her massive stadium tour, adding 15 dates in North America next year, including a long-awaited six-night stint in Canada.

“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024,” the “Anti-Hero” singer tweeted and posted on Instagram . Eras tour vet Gracie Abrams will join Swift for the new shows, which begin in mid-October of next year and run through November.

The Grammy winner kicks off her sold-out Los Angeles tour stop Thursday, with six shows planned at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood — her longest stay in a single city so far. Nearly half a million concertgoers are set to descend on SoFi, with additional shows set for Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Experts estimate the weeklong run could bring as much as $150 million in spending to the area, a welcome figure in a local economy struck by Hollywood’s writers’ and actors’ strikes and a hotel workers’ strike that could affect visitors.

The Aug. 9 show at SoFi was meant to close out the U.S. leg of the tour, but given Swift’s latest announcement, it will do so only for now. The hitmaker next jets off for shows in Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe through August 2024.

The tour will return to the United States in October 2024 with three shows in Miami, three in New Orleans, three in Indianapolis and six in Toronto. The Rogers Centre shows in Canada appear to mark the end of the ever-expanding tour — also for now.

Taylor Swift is adding 15 new shows to her calendar in the Fall of 2024 when she returns to North America for a second leg of “The Eras Tour,” the singer announced in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter . 

The announcement comes after fans, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, pleaded with Swift to add more dates to a show that’s already in high demand worldwide.

Swift is slated to play three shows in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis respectively before playing six shows at Toronto’s Rogers Centre.

She was originally scheduled to perform more than 50 dates in the US in all and then go abroad to Europe and Asia in the Spring and Summer of 2024.

The move will surely bolster the earnings of an already unprecedented tour. On pace to gross over $1 billion, Swift’s latest tour has been a bright spot in an otherwise volatile market that has even managed to grab the  attention  of US Federal Reserve officials and a mention in the central bank’s beige book in June.

The second leg kicks off with three dates at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium from Oct. 18-20, 2024. 

The Eras Tour, which began March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, has grossed more than $300 million and stimulated the U.S. economy . Now, South Florida is going to feel the economic boost .

What are the new dates for the Eras Tour?

Oct. 18-20, 2024: Miami, Hard Rock Stadium

Oct. 25-27, 2024: New Orleans, Caesars Superdome

Nov. 1-3, 2024: Indianapolis, Lucas Oil Stadium

Nov. 14-16 , Nov. 21-23, 2024 : Toronto, Rogers Centre

How to sign-up for an onsale code?

Sign-ups for the second North American leg of The Eras Tour were announced Thursday morning. Swifties who want to try their luck at the Ticketmaster lottery-style system can sign-up for the chance to receive an onsale code to one of 15 shows. 

Registration is open from Aug. 3-5, closing Saturday at 5 p.m. EST. Registered users will receive an email Aug. 8 with confirmation if they received a presale code or were put on the waitlist. 

Here are Ticketmaster's steps to signing up for an onsale code. 

Stage 1: Registration. Sign in or create a new account and register your email, pick your preferred show, and let us know how to contact you. Once registration is complete, you’ll automatically receive a confirmation email stating we received your information.  Please note that this is a separate email than the Status Update email in Stage 3 and will not have an access code in it.

Stage 2: Verification. Ticketmaster authenticates your account.  Once authenticated, you will have the opportunity to receive a unique access code in Stage 3.

Stage 3: Status Update. You’ll receive an email the day prior to the sale letting you know if you were selected for the "onsale" (that's the Ticketmaster term for a verified sale) for a specific date or placed on the waitlist. If selected for the sale, you will then receive a unique access code. If you aren’t selected, you’ll join the waitlist and may receive an invite to join the onsale at a later date if any tickets remain.  Please note, receiving a unique access code does not guarantee you tickets. Ticket availability is limited. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while currently available inventory lasts.

What is Ticketmaster Verified Fan?

Verified Fan was created to give fans protection over bots when it comes to ticket buying. Interested buyers are asked to register for the onsale to cross-check accounts to ensure fans are given access to the sale. 

When Swift first announced The Eras Tour in Nov. 2022, Ticketmaster was overwhelmed with presale signups with buyers spending hours in the presale queue vying for tickets only to be left empty-handed or met by overpriced tickets on resale sites. 

In Dec. 2022, fans filed a class-action lawsuit against Ticketmaster and its parent company, LiveNation, of fraud, misrepresentation and anti-trust violations for the botched Eras Tour ticket sale in November. 

When do tickets go on sale?

If you receive a unique access code through Ticketmaster Verified Fan, tickets will be on sale Aug. 9. With your code, you are only able to purchase four tickets.

How much are tickets?

Past general ticket prices for Taylor Swift's the Eras Tour start at $49 and go up to $449 through Ticketmaster. VIP ticket package prices range from $199 to $899.

It’s important to note that these ranges do go up significantly due to demand , with resellers pricing single tickets anywhere from $500 to over $20,000.

What are tips for mastering Tickemaster’s queue? 

Want to win the Great War for tickets? Here’s what experts advise fans to do when the Ticketmaster queue opens for the Miami dates:

• Join the waiting room at least 10 minutes before the event goes on sale.
• Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis once it’s your turn to shop, so check venue seating ahead of time and make backup plans if you find that your preferred seats are already taken.
• Don’t refresh. The page will automatically refresh when you enter the queue.

Taylor Swift Adds Massive Second North American Leg Tour Dates To ‘Eras’ Tour

Taylor Swift is expanding her ‘Eras’ tour into next year with more dates in the United States and beyond.

More details below…

The superstar took to her social media accounts to announce that several states will be getting more tour dates. She will now play multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis before wrapping with a six-show stint in Toronto in November.

The news of new tour dates comes as Swift is wrapping up the first leg of her tour tonight at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. She will then head to Mexico later this month and then she will be headed to South America in November.

The Verified Fan on sale will take place for the Miami shows August 9-October 18; New Orleans August 10-October 25; Indianapolis August 11-November 1; and Toronto August 9-November 15.

Taylor Swift is nearly done with the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour , but there’s a new set list that has a slight update from the previous shows!

The 33-year-old singer was already performing 45 songs a night during her 3+ hour show, but she has added an extra challenge by putting another song on the setlist.

Taylor dropped the re-recorded album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on July 7 and she added a song from that album to the set that evening. She’s now performed it at every show since, cementing the fact that it will likely remain on the setlist until the end of the tour.

But her loyal fan base is convinced this isn't it and that more venues and dates across America will become available after a very cryptic post.

Gossip blog Deuxmoi shared on Twitter: "A list singer will be doing a second US leg of her very popular tour."

Despite not naming Taylor herself, so-called "Swifties" have taken to the social media site to share their excitement at a potential Eras Tour extension.

"Honestly I see no other artist having a huge demand which would require them to do a second US show."

It comes after Swift's unlikely BFF was unmasked as popular US rapper Ice Spice.

The duo first met when collaborating on a remix of Taylor's tune Karma – from her hit album Midnights.

Born Isis Naija Gaston, the musician told Apple Music 1: "She's f***ing hilarious."

Detailing some of the adorable moments between her and Swift, Spice explained: "We went to the studio, and she's so humble and so nice.

"I kid you not. I pulled up to the studio and she outside waiting for me."

Taylor Swift fans convinced star is adding more Eras Tour dates after cryptic post

Many Taylor Swift fans couldn't get tickets for the first US leg of the Eras Tour, but new rumours of a potential second US leg have given them renewed hope

Rumours have began to circulate that suggest Taylor Swift may just be bringing her Eras Tour back to the United States for another leg of the tour. Right now, she's set to wrap up the first leg of the tour on August 9 in Los Angeles. The Eras Tour then continues on August 24 in Mexico City.

Popular gossip blog, Deuxmoi, posted on Twitter : "A list singer will be doing a second US leg of her very popular tour."

While Taylor isn't the only A-lister currently on tour, therefore the blog could be referring to someone else, fans are already excited and speculating the rumours pertain to Ms Swift.

The replies to Deuxmoi's tweet are flooded with optimistic claims that the star in question is Taylor. In fact, practically no other fan base is attempting to weigh in on the conversation.

One fan wrote: "Only Taylor has the demand for this. honestly I see no other artist having a huge demand which would require them to do a second US show."

Ticketmaster has previously said that ticket "demand drastically exceeds supply" for Beyonce's Renaissance Tour. Taylor's Eras Tour, "broke records" though in terms of demand for tickets, according to Ticketmaster . It is unclear at this time which tour outsold the other.

Other fans are hopeful that another leg of the Eras Tour in North America will include Canada this time. The country was notably overlooked in Taylor's first round of touring.

A fan wrote: "I told people to trust Taylor in regard to Canadian dates and that she’ll go on a second US leg."

In June, a report from Pollstar revealed that Taylor Swift was ranked number one of "highest-grossing tours at the halfway mark of what looks to be a record-setting year for the live industry". The tour had grossed $300,804,808 (£233,000) with over 1million tickets sold. This is something fans are proud of.

On Twitter, a fan said: "Mother making sure nobody’s ever breaking The Eras Tour’s record for highest grossing tour EVER."

Mother is what Swifties affectionately call Taylor.

Yet, some fans worry that another US leg could bring with it more anxiety since the tickets were so hard to get the first time around. After all, the first round of ticket purchases caused what some fans refer to as "The Great War". After the ticket sale continuously crashed Ticketmaster, Senators even asked the Justice Department to investigation Ticketmaster's policies.

Long live the Eras Tour . Taylor Swift resumed her record-obliterating Eras Tour on Nov. 9 with three unforgettable shows at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina. And on Monday (Nov. 13), as she prepares to tear through her final six shows of the calendar year, Swift took to her Instagram page to celebrate the launch of the Eras Tour’s South American leg.

Swift was forced to postpone her second Eras Tour showing in Buenos Aires Friday due to “truly chaotic” weather. “I love a rain show but I’m never going to endanger my fans or my fellow performers and crew,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “We’ve rescheduled tonight’s Buenos Aires show for Sunday due to the weather being so truly chaotic it would be unsafe to try and put on this concert. Good news is I get to stay in Argentina later!”

That same day, the 12-time Grammy winner picked up six nominations for the upcoming 66th Grammy Awards , including nods for album of the year and best pop vocal album for Midnights , and record and song of the year for “Anti-Hero.” Swift is one of five artists to score nominations in album, record and song of the year at next year’s Grammys ceremony, which will be held on Feb. 4. Swift also leads the 2023 Billboard Music Awards finalists with nods in 20 categories.
