Taylor Swift will soon launch the European, UK and Ireland legs of her record-breaking Eras tour.

Over the past year, the 34-year-old pop star has been performing her career-spanning shows at stadiums around the world, including North America, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore.

A month after the release of her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Society, she will continue the Eras tour with four nights in Paris at the La DĂ©fense Arena.

After this, she will perform two shows in Lisbon, Portugal, then a further two nights in Madrid, Spain, and Lyon, France.

UK-based fans (and those travelling to see Swift from overseas) will then get to see her live during three nights from 7 to 9 June at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland, before she heads to Liverpool and Cardiff.

Swift is booked to perform a staggering eight shows at Wembley Stadium in London, with the first three taking place between 21 and 23 June, before she returns for the final five nights of her UK and Europe tour between 15 and 20 August.

In between those, she will have also played in Dublin, Ireland, in Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg and Munich in Germany, Warsaw in Poland, and Vienna, Austria.

Ticketmaster recently announced a major update for fans with tickets to see Swift this summer.

All UK and Ireland dates will be supported by US rock band Paramore.

In a five-star review of the very first show of Swift’s Eras tour , critic Kelsey Barnes wrote how the US star guided fans through more than a decade’s worth of “her best work”.

“Her ‘Eras Tour’ was designed as a journey through that staggering back catalogue of 10 albums, from her earlier country twang on her self-titled debut to the shift to synth-pop on 1989 , then to the subdued folk and alt-rock of Folklore and Evermore ,” she wrote.

“Throughout the opening night of the tour, it frequently feels as though the audience is being caught up with Swift’s past, present and future. In the 44-song setlist that spans three hours and 15 minutes, she shows why the “era” concept is so integral to who she is. Each chapter marks a specific shift in her artistry.”

The Tortured Poets Department, released on 19 April, is the pop titan’s 11th studio album. It appears to have been inspired, in part, by the five stages of grief. Ahead of the release, Swift shared five new playlists that arrange her songs into those stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

“These songs represent making room for more good in your life,” she says in a brief audio message that accompanied the final playlist, acceptance. “Making that choice. Because a lot of time when we lose things, we gain things too.”

If you’ve finished your second—or fourth—rewatch of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) on Disney+ and are ready to see the talented singer-songwriter live, we’ve compiled everything we know about how to get Taylor Swift tickets this year. Her Eras tour starts back up this May in Europe, then moves to the United States in October and finishes in Canada this November. Swift’s 15th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department , came out on April 19 (you can order it now ). That means it’s likely she’ll include songs from that record on her tour as well as hits from 2022’s Midnights .

Taylor Swift returns to the stage on her "Eras" tour from May through the end of the year. Here's ... [+] how to get Taylor Swift tickets now.

The 20 Best Hotels In Rome For Sightseeing, Romance And More

How much should you spend on a mattress here’s what we found, where to buy tickets to taylor swift’s “eras” tour.

For many people, Ticketmaster might be the first stop for getting Taylor Swift tickets, since the artist links out to this platform from her official website . Unfortunately, many of the Eras tour shows are already sold out on Ticketmaster, including concert dates in the United States (Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis). But don’t be discouraged—we’ve rounded up some other ways to get Eras tour tickets.

  • If you’re looking for tickets to one of her shows in Miami, New Orleans or Indianapolis, StubHub has tickets, but they’re pricey. Tickets start around $1,600 and go up to $8,300 for these locations. For the Canadian performances, StubHub tickets start at $965 U.S. dollars and go up to more than $10,000. Shows in Europe are more affordable, starting around $250.
  • For some of the European shows, StubHub may redirect you to StubHub International , where the currency is in British pounds, euros, Polish zƂoty or Swedish krona. You might want to check out a currency converter before purchasing tickets to see how much you’ll pay in American dollars.
  • SeatGeek has tickets available for Swift’s United States and Canada shows, with prices starting at $1,000.
  • Vivid Seats has similar pricing to SeatGeek, with tickets starting at $1,000 in the U.S. and Canada. For her European shows, prices begin a little under $400.
  • Swift’s three shows in Dublin, Ireland (taking place from June 28 to 30) aren’t available on Ticketmaster, StubHub or SeatGeek, but they are ready for purchase on TicketNetwork . Prices start around $350.
  • Taylor Swift’s website also links out to AEG Presents , which takes users to AXS for several of her European shows. Unfortunately, many tickets are sold out on that reseller platform.

Torpedo Stadium: A living history of Soviet soccer

Renovation will open a new chapter in the history of Streltsov Stadium. For the fans, however, this place will always be linked with the one man who was and remains a legend of Soviet soccer, Eduard Streltsov. Source: Anton Denisov / RIA Novosti

Torpedo Stadium—Moscow’s oldest—will soon be closed for renovation. This field, which has been owned by businessman Mikhail Prokhorov ’s ONEXIM Group since 2007, is to be transformed into a modern sports complex where, in addition to a covered stadium, there are plans to build children’s sports schools and a museum of Russian soccer.

The building may not turn out to be as big as the Barclays Center in Brooklyn (which the Russian billionaire built for his NBA team, the Brooklyn Nets ), but Torpedo fans have already expressed their concerns about the new building. The original plan was to completely demolish the stadium and develop the site as exclusive housing; however, when thousands of supporters signed a petition against the demolition of the stadium, the owners decided to preserve the sports facility.

Streltsov , Russia’s Pelè in the gulag

Torpedo Stadium is unique, in a way. There are hardly any top-level spectacles here, as the home team plays in the second soccer division. Moreover, since August 2013, the Torpedo team has had to move: The club began playing its home games in the Moscow suburb of Ramenskoye, due to high rent.

Meanwhile, the stadium on Vostochnaya Street has become a favorite training ground for the Russian national soccer team, and, in August, the two best American football teams in Russia— Black Storm and the Moscow Patriots —played each other on the local field.

The Streltsov Torpedo Stadium is not located in the most picturesque of areas: Factory chimneys and brick walls stand alongside typical dismal Soviet-era buildings. It was here that, in 1924, the workers of the ZIL car factory started the Torpedo club.

Torpedo has always been a local soccer team. The car makers were nowhere near as popular as Spartak, which enjoyed national fame, and the black-and-whites could not boast of government patronage, as Dynamo could. In some ways, this is why the residents of Moscow’s Avtozavodsky District are so devoted to their club, despite the fact that, in the 2000s, the team did not experience the best of times.

Officials downplay panic over Russia’s soccer stadiums

Problems with finance mean the club has had to rely on young players it has developed itself, and Torpedo has not been able to get back into the Premier League for the last seven years. In a world of multi-million-dollar soccer transfers, Torpedo looks like a dinosaur that has somehow managed to survive.

Torpedo Stadium has never known the glory of Luzhniki, which served as the main stadium of the 1980 Olympics and the venue for the 2008 Champions League final. The field on Vostochnaya Street has never been Moscow’s main stadium, but, for Torpedo supporters, it is a shrine. This is where Eduard Streltsov—probably the best soccer players in Soviet history, if we leave aside the great Dynamo goalkeeper Lev Yashin—played and caught fans’ imagination.

Streltsov’s story is like a Hollywood film. At the age of 16, the wunderkind from a working-class suburb of Moscow became Torpedo’s main forward; at 17, he made a triumphant debut for the Soviet national team, scoring a hat trick in his first two games; at 18, he was the top goal-scorer in the Soviet league. Tall and strong, and with a broad grin, the young man caught everyone’s attention, on the field and off it.

His contemporaries recall that Streltsov played almost like a genius: His faultless technique, combined with his superb ability to read the game, enabled him to pull off real masterpieces of soccer, time and again. In 1956, the 19-year-old Streltsov was the key player on the Soviet team at the Melbourne Olympics, where the Soviet soccer players won gold for the first time in team history.

2018 World Cup

“He seemed to have the ball on a lead, and his ball control could get him past two or three defenders,” said defender Vladimir Ponomarev, Streltsov’s teammate on the Soviet national team, in an interview with Sovetsky Sport. “He had an exceptional soccer mind. He could anticipate and work out how the attack would develop, like a computer—several moves ahead, automatically, in an instant.”

The 1958 world championship should have been a golden moment for the Russian king of soccer, but Streltsov did not get to meet the other king of soccer—Brazil’s Pele—on the Swedish field. On June 15, while the Soviet team was losing 2-0 to Brazil, Streltsov was being interrogated by investigators at Moscow’s Butyrka prison. He had been arrested on May 27, on suspicion of rape during a party at a dacha not far from the Tarasovka sports center, where the Soviet team was preparing for the tournament. Streltsov was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Arguments about how just the court’s decision was continue to this day. Some say Streltsov’s imprisonment was revenge by the KGB for his refusal to transfer to the Dynamo club, which was under the control of the special services; others link the sportsman’s drama to his refusal to marry the daughter of the iron lady of the Soviet government, the influential Yekaterina Furtseva. Doubt has been cast on many of the circumstances of that fateful night. It is likely that the truth of this story will never be known, but, in spite of everything, Streltsov will always be an idol to Torpedo fans.

Rugby in Russia: Bringing the gentleman’s game to the people

Streltsov was given early release in 1963, and, after another two years, he was allowed to return to top-level soccer. At the age of 28, Streltsov took to the field again in a black-and-white Torpedo uniform. Even after six years in prison, there was no getting away from his talent: The powerful forward again became the leader of the Torpedo front line, taking his team to the championship in 1965.

The secret of Streltsov’s popularity was not just that he played like a genius. Supporters saw him as one of their own: While he was a professional sportsman, he continued to work at the factory and live in an ordinary apartment not far from the stadium. After Streltsov’s death (he died from lung cancer in 1990), officials decided to put up a monument to the soccer player by the entrance to the field; since 1997, the stadium itself has borne his name.

Renovation will open a new chapter in the history of Streltsov Stadium. Only time will tell to what extent it will preserve its inimitable atmosphere. For the fans, however, this place will always be linked with the one man who was and remains a legend of Soviet soccer.

How to get Taylor Swift tickets for reasonable prices ahead of the Dublin Eras Tour stop

T he countdown is well and truly under way for the European leg of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour which finally makes its way to the continent next month. The superstar kicks off the latest leg of the record-breaking tour in Paris on May 9 and will grace the stage at various stadiums throughout the summer - including the Aviva in Dublin on June 28, 29 and 30.

Thousands tried to get their hands on tickets when they went on sale last year, and while some got lucky, there were plenty of other disappointed fans who missed out. All hope is not lost though, as there is still a chance for Swifties to see the impressive performance .

Fans who can’t attend the Dublin shows may resell their tickets before the All Too Well singer takes to the stage in June. Ticketmaster has officially activated resale for the Aviva Stadium concerts, however ticket transfer will not be made available until much closer to the date of the shows.

Once it goes live, tickets will likely be snapped up very quickly, but fans can keep an eye on Ticketmaster for official resale tickets and they could get lucky.

For those desperate to see the concert, another option to consider is ticket resale websites. Viagogo is selling Eras Tour tickets for the shows across the UK and Europe - and there is a way to get tickets right now for as low as $289 each.

If you're willing to travel elsewhere, fans can snag tickets to many other venues. As well as Dublin, the 34-year-old is bringing the concert to UK venues in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff and London, as well as European venues in Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon, Madrid, Lyon, Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Munich, Warsaw and Vienna.

The cheapest tickets at the time of writing were for Stockholm in Sweden for a reasonable $289 each. Flights to Stockholm from Dublin during the week of the concert can be bought from just $38, according to Skyscanner.

Another affordable venue to see the Eras Tour is Nanterre, just outside Paris, where there were tickets available on Viagogo for $305 at the time of writing. Flights from Dublin to Paris Beauvais during the week of the concert are available from as little as $22, according to Skyscanner.

Taylor Swift Dublin: How to get resale tickets for Aviva Stadium Eras Tour show

Taylor Swift is bringing her Eras Tour to Dublin's Aviva Stadium this summer, with three sold-out shows scheduled for June 28, 29 and 30 - here's how to get resale tickets

  • 12:49, 7 APR 2024

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm and it's finally making its way to our shores this summer.

The global superstar is all set to rock sold-out gigs at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on June 28, 29 and 30. When tickets went on sale last year, thousands of fans scrambled to secure their spot, but not everyone was lucky enough to bag a ticket.

But don't lose hope just yet, there's still a chance to witness the spectacular show. Fans who can't make it may decide to resell their tickets before the All Too Well singer lights up the stage in June.

Ticketmaster offers an easy solution for fans to sell tickets they no longer need via its ticket exchange, allowing another fan to take their place, reports the Irish Mirror .

Resale for The Eras Tour in Dublin is now officially open. Tickets are expected to fly off the virtual shelves as soon as they're available, but fans can keep an eye on Ticketmaster for official resale tickets and they might just strike gold.

Given that Ticketmaster's resale tickets are likely to be snapped up in a flash, another avenue to explore is ticket resale websites. Viagogo and VividSeats are offering Eras Tour tickets for the shows across the UK and Europe.

Taylor Swift performs onstage during The Eras Tour at Empower Field At Mile High on July 14, 2023 in Denver, Colorado

The 34-year-old is set to bring his concert to a host of UK and European cities, including Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, London, Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon, Madrid, Lyon, Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Munich, Warsaw and Vienna.

If you're desperate to catch the gig and missed out on Dublin tickets, why not consider jetting off to another city and making a holiday out of it? These platforms let you browse at your leisure, with tickets put up for sale by fans remaining available until they're snapped up.

At the time of writing, there are tickets available on Viagogo for the Cardiff show from ÂŁ372 , the Edinburgh gig from ÂŁ269 , the Liverpool concert from ÂŁ408 and the London performance from ÂŁ397 .

For those considering a European adventure, there are Warsaw tickets available from ÂŁ338, Madrid tickets from ÂŁ278, Amsterdam tickets from ÂŁ502 and Lisbon tickets from ÂŁ398.

You can check out the prices for each of the UK and European venues on Viagogo . Many of the venues are hosting several nights of the concert, so it might be worth checking different dates to get the best value.

A spokesperson from Viagogo previously revealed that tickets for Taylor Swift's UK dates have sold for as low as ÂŁ172.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, they highlighted the concerns fans have about purchasing resale tickets: "The European leg of Taylor Swift's Eras tour has been long anticipated. We've not seen anything like this since The Beatles and with tickets having only just gone on sale, demand is at its peak right now."

"Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee. Sellers on our marketplace may list tickets at high values when demand is high, but prices can change and tend to reduce over time."

"We recommend Swifties wait for demand to settle and check regularly for a listing that meets their budget. Tickets for Taylor Swift's UK dates have already sold for as low as ÂŁ172 on our platform. Also, tickets listed at eye-catchingly high levels rarely, if ever, sell."
