[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the travel system was easy to use. The infant car seat is easy to attach to the stroller. However, the car seat was a little too bulky for my liking. We have a smaller Lexus is250 and the back isn't that spacious. The base and car seat make it a very tight squeeze back there. I prefer a smaller compact car seat. My babe is only 6.5 months and it's not recommended to take your baby out jogging until 8 months. However, I took her on a jog down our long condo building halls. It was very smooth. I was able to easily maneuver the stroller around tight sharp corners easily and effortlessly. I have used it for everyday strolls and taken it to the zoo. It does great on all terrains. The wheels and suspension system are great, even if you have to go over bumps. We live in the city and the sideways and walkways can be pretty uneven. We have quite a few strollers at home that we rotate through, and this is my mother-in-law's favorite one to use. The steering on this stroller is the smoothest and easiest. Also, the canopy has great coverage and is one of the only strollers with UPF 50. It is a great touch. The only downside of the stroller is that if it was your only sole stroller and you needed to fly to travel; it is not the most friendly travel stroller. It's not something I would want to lug around the airport and try to gate-check. The stroller is my favorite feature of this travel system. I would recommend getting the BOB rambler. It is small, easy to use, and offers a comfortable ride for everyday usage; not only just a jogging stroller. Thank you to the Steller Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome travel set for the active mom! I’ve always loved BOB products, and this is the perfect all in one set for a mom of a new baby. Love how you can use it right away with a newborn and grow to using stroller with a toddler. Things I loved: -Car seat is very light, lighter than other brands I’ve used. -Nice big canopy in car seat blocking sun well from babe -Car seat adapter fits is included in set and fits like a glove. I’ve used other universal adapters before and aren’t as snug. Of course since this adapter is specific to the Britax car seat, it does fit really, really well. And didn’t make me anxious at all about car seat jostling around. -Great suspension and shocks from stroller, handles on rough terrain so well. -Such a smooth ride! We live on a dirt road and could walk for hours with this stroller. It glides and babe is comfy and cozy! -Foot Brake very easy to use no matter what type of shoe you have on. -I love the inside pockets for your kiddos to put all of their “treasures” in. We are constantly collecting treasures on our walks and runs :) -For being a bigger/heavy stroller it does fold well and easily, all things considered. Things I didn’t love ask much: -On the car seat, the ribbon/strap to loosen the shoulder straps is a little difficult to get at, the button to push to loosen is under a fabric section. -On the safety strap of the car seat adapter is a little annoying to put on, since you have to screw it. I totally get it, it’s a safety feature and helps it stay in place :) but just a little annoying to always be screwing -The bottom carry basket could be bigger. Other strollers I have used before do have larger baskets. -The handle bar is not adjustable. Seems like a little thing, but would be nice when trading back and forth with my husband. He’d prefer to have it a little higher. I know I listed some negatives, but nothing Is perfect, right?! All in all, it’s a great travel set, especially if you are an outdoorsy family like us! The stroller is of course heavy and does take up a lot of space in your trunk. It’s not a stroller you’d want to use to run in and out of grocery store or target. I would still recommend this set, and then getting a cheaper light weight stroller for in and out of malls, grocery stores, etc. It is an expensive set, but you have to keep in mind that you will use the stroller for multiple years, past the baby stage. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BOB gear rambler travel system is an easy convenient lightweight option for parents who are on the go and love the outdoors. We have used this stroller car seat combination on hikes, on the sidewalk to run/jog and just in the mall. It’s an easy click on snap off car seat system and the car seat is wipeable and seemed comfortable for our baby. We have used it to jog on the sidewalk and it’s so easy to switch it from walking mode to run mode, with just a click. This is my absolute favorite feature, the front wheel stops swiveling and the stroller becomes a jogging stroller. The stroller is steady on both concrete and uneven terrain during jogs. The suspension system Is pretty awesome and keeps the stroller pretty smooth and evens out any bumps on uneven ground, it’s a very smooth ride. My favorite feature is the full canopy of the car seat and the stroller that covers up baby while on a jog even if it’s super sunny outside. Overall I highly recommend the bob rambler travel system for its ease of use, comfort and amazing suspension for smooth jogging rides for outdoor/hiking families. I was thrilled to get the BOB Rambler Travel System as I’m an avid jogger and have a 6 month old daughter that I’m hoping will enjoy going for runs with me in the future (as of now we can only go for walks since she is too young for me to run with her in this stroller). I love the design of this travel system! It’s very sleek and great for runners, going for walks on a trail or sidewalk. It’s a bit bulky for grocery store trips. I love the foot brake It’s easy to lock and unlock the stroller. The sun shade is also very large and covers a lot of surface area, and I appreciate that it provides UPF protection. I’m also grateful that BOB used aluminum for the frame of the stroller, so it’s not uncomfortably heavy when I fold and unfold it or lift the stroller in to my trunk. The basket under the stroller is pretty small, but this isn’t a deal breaker for me. I do think the BOB with the larger back wheels might suit my needs better as an avid runner who likes to go trail running and for long distance runs. The biggest downfall for me is the handlebar isn’t adjustable. I’m quite petite and would prefer the handlebar to be lower. The included Britax car seat easily attaches to the stroller adapter and the car seat seems very securely attached to the stroller. I love the Britax car seat, and I know my baby is safe in it. Britax has clearly put a lot of thought and safety features in to the Gen2. The seat is very deep and padded. The car seat doesn’t feel too heavy when I’m carrying the car seat with my baby in it. I haven’t been able to go jogging with my baby yet because she’s too young, but I’ve been out walking with her in the car seat and stroller a few times in the last couple of weeks. So far I’ve really enjoyed my walks with this stroller as it feels very stable. My baby seems comfortable and usually falls asleep. The suspension seems to absorb a lot of the bumps on the road. I will say that the suspension is kind of squeaky and will need to be greased. My favorite feature of this travel system is the entire system! I love taking my baby out for afternoon walks around our neighborhood, and I feel safe with her in the Britax car seat. Overall, I’m in love with the BOB Rambler Travel System and am so happy to have it. I just wish the handlebar was adjustable. It is pretty wide for my 7 month old, but she is very very comfortable and content in the stroller. I also know that she will grow into it really well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a top tier jogging stroller! I was highly impressed with how smooth the ride was. I jogged with this stroller while at our lake cabin which is gravel roads and some grassy areas. It was easy to control and maneuver the entire time! My son was comfortable the entire time and the bumpy roads put the suspension to the test(it passed!). The car seat is pretty easy to attach and take out which is great. The only thing I wish this had was an extending handlebar, I felt that it was too low and would have liked to be able to adjust that so my arms weren't so awkward at times and i'm only 5'6". Also, if you're going to use this stroller for occasions other than running, the basket is extremely tucked under and small, it doesn't fit much and is hard to get to without coming to a full stop and bending all the way down. So if you're looking for a jogging stroller more suited for everyday life, there would be better options out there. All in all, I LOVE this stroller, my toddler has asked to go on a walk every day since we received it, I feel comfortable taking our 6 month old on runs because I know he isn't being bounced around inside the stroller, and you cannot beat the quality of the tires and ease of use. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product testing panel. We were in the market for a jogging stroller so it was perfect timing. BOB is known for active strollers though not all brands live up to the hype. Not surprisingly, BOB actually did live up to their hype. We have a 4 month old who primarily used the stroller while our other two ran or rode their scooters next to us. She fell asleep every time we took her for a jog. The travel system is great. I love how secure the stroller feels with the car seat attached. It is easy to take the car seat off the stroller as well as remove the attachment. Our sons also enjoyed taking a ride in the stroller. The wheels are sturdy when running/jogging and when going around turns the stroller feels secure. The storage area on the bottom is a good size, I do wish there was some way to zip the storage closed. A few times when we were running over bumpy terrain our belongings came out. The handlebar is made of a foam type material and is great for gripping as it fits comfortably in my hands. Lowering the seat in the stroller is easy and convenient while adjusting on the move. Overall I have really enjoyed using this stroller on our nightly jogs.

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow. Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.

6. Novoslobodskaya Metro Station was built in 1952. It has 32 stained glass murals with brass borders.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

8. Mayakovskaya Metro Station built in 1938. It was named after Russian poet Vladmir Mayakovsky. This is one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world with 34 mosaics painted by Alexander Deyneka.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.

10. Teatralnaya Metro Station (Theatre Metro Station) is located near the Bolshoi Theatre.

An excellent read! Thanks for much for sharing the Russian metro system with us. We're heading to Moscow in April and exploring the metro stations were on our list and after reading your post, I'm even more excited to go visit them. Thanks again 🙂
