The Colorado Karting Tour is back at Pikes Peak International Raceway for Round 3 and Round 4!
Come and join us for great action at historic PPIR! It is midway through the season and it’s heating up! Check motorsportreg for more information.
On race day, registration will be set up at the track. So be sure to check in at registration prior to getting on the track. At registration you will:
- Pick up pit-passes for racers and spectators
- Verify kart information (Kart #/Transponder)
- Pick up pre-tech/tire sheets/schedules/any other race information
- Pick up tires (if ordered)

About this event
Join CKT as we kick off the season with the 2023 Run Your Rust Off event! Come test your motors and tune your karts!
Event requirements
If you have already chosen a kart number in our earlier event, it will pre-populate for you when you register! If not, you can select a number for this event and the rest of the season from the available numbers when you choose your race class(es). This number will stay with you in MSR for future races and events in 2023 with CKT.
CKT rules for 2023 allow for 1 pit spot per racer only! This means that you must fit your trailer into one spot, and work on your kart in the same area. As our club grows, it is important that we increase pit density to allow for everyone to attend the races and work on their karts! If you are able to pit with another driver in one shared space, leaving your vehicles in spectator parking, PLEASE do! Also, no pit spaces will be allowed for racers that are pitting with a registered team . These teams have reserved spaces adequate to house all of their drivers, so please use spectator and overflow parking if you are on a team, and do not reserve a pit space for parking.
If you would like to pit near another driver, please put your request in the pit detail on registration. If you are buying spaces for another driver, please put it in the pit detail on registration and note the other driver.
CKT supports vendor tent teams that provide retail services to our karting community (such as selling parts, supplies, and race day support services like coaching and kart tuning) in many ways during our season, including reserving pit spaces prior to the race weekend .

Join us for the 2022 CKT Endurance Race and Dash for Cash! This year's event will be held at Action Karting, and will include a team race for LO206 Light and LO206 Heavy, and an individual race for LO206 Junior 1 Racers.
Junior 2 racers are welcome to compete in the lights catagory; teams should consist of three members registered as one group.
Junior 1 racers should enter the race individually.
The cost of the race includes pit spots; the Dash For Cash is an add on or a seperate event, make your choice during registration!
DASH FOR CASH
The 2022 DASH FOR CASH will be held on Sept 24, from 9am to noon at Action Karting. It will consist of three heats of 8 laps each. Starting order for the first heat will be pill-pick, starting for the second heat will be inverse of the first heat, and the third heat will start based on "points" earned for finishing positions in the first two heats. For example, if you finish 3rd in the first heat and 5th in the second heat, you have received 8 points. Lowest point total is on pole for the final. You must finish the first two heats to be eligible for the final.
Classes (CKT spec, including age for the dash) Junior 2 206 Light 206 Heavy
Prizes: 1st: $200 2nd: $100 3rd: $50
We need a minimum of 8 racers in each class to pay out the dash prize purse.
Entry fees: $50 if you are also entering the endurance race. $100 for the Dash only.

March 2, 2024: The Colorado Karting Tour has published an update rulebook for 2024 with several notable changes. Clarifications have been made to the ‘Rookie Rule’, which new competitors should be aware of. CKT will also be enforcing a more strict Briggs 206 cam profile rule, adopted closely from the CKNA series. Additional changes include adopting the newly released Rotax cylinder, a new procedure for qualifying which will utilize warmup times to determine grid order, in addition to several others.
