DON'T MISS THE OPPORTUNITY to see Junior Brown if you get the chance! It's pretty obvious why Junior Brown invented his own guitar. He'd leave a normal guitar, 6 string or steel, in a smoking shredded pile. Neither one would be enough for him so he invented his guit-steel. After seeing him live I'm sure it's got to be the toughest instrument ever made. For more than an hour he barely stopped playing at all, and in his classic lick-heavy style, none of the strings ever got much rest. Junior may not exactly be a young pup, but he has an energy level that few younger artists could match. All that did not keep him from sharing humorous moments & some anecdotes with the audience. Junior is a true showman. He bends the guit-steel to his will like a master woodcarver, & then takes ithe tuning pegs for a couple of twirls like a dance partner. Watching him, you feel that he's having a blast & could go on doing this with us for much longer. His tight setup had no problem transitioning to the small stage when rain closed the open air venue. The beat is provided by a 2 or 3 piece drum set but you never miss the typical full kit. There's the bassist, who has his skills put to the test. Like "walking" the bass at a Black Friday sale pace, but his faithful thumps were right where they needed to be. Junior's wife Tanya Rae provided the rhythm guitar by his side as always, & took the lead on "I wouldn't buy a used car from him". Junior lead it all from center stage. If you are not familiar with Junior's style: The majority of his sound seems kind of like Jimi Hendrix -meets- Johnny Cash. You really rarely see his level & plethora of picking outside of a bluegrass band or back in the guitar-liked power rock days. There's a very older-era feel to his tunes, but with fun lyrics that bring them up to date a-la "Hang up & Drive". At his show you will see the college age set along with the way-back-when crowd. He can be called Texas Country, loves to play live, & sings about places we all know. But then you have to throw into the mix, songs like Surf Medley, Secret 'Aging' Man, & remember that he does all the music for Spongebob Squarepants, & you realize, you can't confine him to anyone else's single style. Give him a listen on YouTube or your favorite streaming service, be wowed, then go see him & take it to a whole other level.

Junior Brown was excellent as I expected he would be. It's been a while (15 years) since I have seen his show because of relocation. I'm back home and so happy to be. The food at Giest Mill was great, the show was great, what a wonderful venue. So many wonderful pictures of past shows and artist's bring back so many loving memories. It's a wonderful life! My husband enjoyed the show and we had a great evening. We both purchased Junior Brown t-shirts. I use to go see Junior Brown at Poodle Dog Lounge on Burnet Road years ago. He was always at the top of his game then and still is. His voice is surely a gift and I will always be on the lookout for his shows. It's always great to see a Blast from your Past. Have fun and be happy.

Killer show, he was cool enough to sign stuff after the show. I have been to the last 6 or 7 shows and every time is great !

One of my favorite live shows to see is Junior Brown. I have been pretty pissed because it took 6 yrs. since the last show in Seattle. It better not be another 6 years Damn't.

I loved the show! He played for 2 hours and really had the crowd going. He was better than when I saw him last year at Kessler Theater. His wife Tanya is just as entertaing as Mr Brown. I cannot wait to see Junior Brown again.

Junior is the real deal, he played nonstop for 90 minutes. Not a lot of gab between songs. One of the most underrated guitar players touring today and of course, his lyrics are legendary.

The best guitar player on the planet. He was spectacular in a cool location. He does his favorites and some covers. Great show. The Mucky Duck in Houston was a perfect Irish pub

Saw him at the Madison Theater a few years ago....He is the best and the best $30 I have ever spent on a concert. He can go from Bluegrass to Jimi Hendrix in a milisecond.

Junior Brown is a must see! There is no one like him in the world. He is talented, funny, and the consummate showman. Totally worth your time to see him.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Junior Brown, an “American original”, is renowned for his distinct voice, unique songwriting, and extraordinary double-necked “Guit-Steel” guitar. Born in 1952 in Cottonwood, Arizona, Junior’s early exposure to country music in rural Indiana ignited his musical journey. His secret love for country music flourished in the late 1960s when he began performing in small clubs across the Southwest.

In the 70s and 80s, Junior honed his craft through countless gigs in honky-tonks, learning professionalism and stage presence. Beyond country, he excels in rock and roll, blues, Hawaiian, bluegrass, and western swing. Junior’s songwriting talent blossomed in the mid-80s, leading him to upgrade his gear and invent the “Guit-Steel,” an innovative double-necked instrument.

Junior and his band settled in Austin, Texas, marking a new chapter in his career. He secured a record deal with Curb Records and released Twelve Shades of Brown in 1993. His fame skyrocketed with Grammy nominations, a CMA award for My Wife Thinks You’re Dead , and numerous TV appearances.

Collaborations with icons like Ralph Stanley, Hank Thompson, the Beach Boys, George Jones, and more attest to Junior’s musical prowess. His latest album, Deep In The Heart Of Me , showcases his continued brilliance as a must-see country musician.

• Entry: Entry to the concert is located just west of the parking garage. Please be ready to show your mobile/printed tickets along with a valid ID.
• Re-entry: No re-entry will be allowed for this show.
• Note: There is an 8′ height limit for the garage.
• Seating: With the exception of Premium Group Seating this is a standing room only show.
• In addition, you can also carry a small clutch purse, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap.
• Bags will be screened as you enter. Security has final say on what is and isn’t permitted.
• Fun Food and Drink: Hungry or thirsty? Enjoy fun beverages from the RØDE Bar before and during the show. No outside food or beverages will be allowed.
• Cashless Event: Bring your credit or debit cards as we’re 100% cash-less.
• Photos and Video: For this performance, no cameras will be permitted in the venue (phones are OK). Please leave all cameras, including point-and-shoot cameras, GoPros, tablets, professional cameras, drones, selfie sticks, tripods, detachable lenses, and audio or video recording devices at home.

Chris Brown to bring ‘11:11’ tour to Orlando

R&B singer Chris Brown is planning to bring his upcoming “11:11″ tour to Orlando.

Brown is set to make his debut performance at Orlando’s Kia Center on Saturday, July 13.

Joining Brown for his Orlando performance will be up-and-coming female artist Muni Long.

Brown’s 26-city tour will kick off on June 5 in Detroit, MI.

His Orlando stop is the only concert planned for Florida.

Tickets for the “11:11″ tour will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 29.

Officials said the “11:11″ tour will celebrate the release of Brown’s 11th studio album, “11:11,” released last November.

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.
